“I hope you’re cooking has gotten better since I left,” said Danny. “Not everything needs a shit ton of salt.” Will laughed as he stirred up some hot grits.

“Oh, you are sooo funny Dan,” he said. “If you don’t stop talking shit, I may have to throw these grits onto your face.” Danny smirked and took a swig of his beer while he scrambled some eggs. Will turned the grits down a little while he proceeded to fry up sausage on another pan. “So what’s the plan?” he asked.

Danny turned to him confused. “Plan?”

“Well, yeah,” he said. “I mean, you’re not really going to give up on adopting Brian, are you?” Danny sighed.

“Thanks to dad, I think that ship has sailed,” he said. “And Jolene knows all of it.”

Will sucked his teeth. “Well there has to be some way to get him,” he said. “Being around someone like Bill Carroll, isn’t the best thing for him.”

Danny snorted, “Tell me something I don’t know,” he said. “But until I can figure something out, he’s going to have to stay there.”

Will turned his lip up. “Well…I did think of one plan,” he said.

Danny slid their eggs on plates. “I’m all ears,” he said.

Will and Danny sat down opposite each other. “What if we could link Bill to all of the illegal stuff that’s happening on Bourbon Street?” Danny looked at him curiously.

  “Go on…” he said.

“Ok, so Bill has taken over most of dad’s ventures since he passed, right?” he asked rhetorically. “What if we could find proof and use it against him? Jolene only had a case against you because of dad, but if her new beau is the one committing crimes now…”

The plan quickly snapped into place in Danny’s head. “Will, you’re a genius!” he exclaimed. “All we have to do is prove that Brian is better off with us.”

Will smirked. “And we get the added bonus of getting dad some sweet belated revenge,” he said deviously. Though he would never say it, of the two brothers, Will probably loved his father more than Danny. Will was never a fighter like Danny was, but Chuck told him that it was his mind that was his greatest weapon. When he was teamed up with his brother, there was nothing in the whole world that could stop them. If this plan worked, his father would once again be proven right about yet another thing concerning his boys.

Charlotte looked forward to her morning showers. To her, they were reminiscent of all of her troubles melting away. The feeling of the warm water droplets rolling down her back were damn near orgasmic. If the water wouldn’t eventually grow cold, she was convinced that she would stay under the water for as long as she could.

When she danced, any number of guys snuck a free feel as they slipped dollars into her G-string. It wasn’t the life she wanted, but she felt she had no choice. She had no skills really and since her parents allowed her to drop out of school, she had no formal education. Charlotte was stuck in New Orleans for as long as it would take her to come up with enough money to eventually leave.

In the meantime, she would have killed for one decent guy interested in her. It had been so long since she had been in a relationship and because of her profession, most of the guys wanted to get their thrill with a stripper and then kick her to the curb. She had been on plenty of dates, but no one had caught her fancy. She even tried to follow the advice of her friends and just find a guy to screw.

“Sometimes you just need the real thing,” said her closest friend, Candice after the two got drunk one night and began talking about fantasies and past lovers. Candice was a lot more adventurous than Charlotte and her stories excited her to no end.

As she thought about the stories Candice told, Charlotte closed her eyes and let her hands trail down across her chest. She loved to be caressed gently. So many of the men she encountered wanted to be rough with her, but nothing made her pussy quiver more than when strong hands gently cupped and caressed her breasts. She massaged her aching breasts which made her pussy tingle in anticipation.

Charlotte bent slightly at the waist and pressed her hand against the wall as she eased her other hand down between her legs. Charlotte’s full lips parted a little as she massaged her swollen clit. Her whole body quivered as her imagination conjured up a lover for her to play with after so long of a dry spell.

She imagined the he would slip into the shower when she came home late at night; hard as a rock and ready to give her a little pleasure before bed. She would be half asleep and her body would be aching from dancing, but it would not matter; this was something she needed. Charlotte would play hard to get and whimper, telling him that she was not in the mood, but her sexy tanned booty would push against his cock.

She let her mind wander as the water kissed her skin and her imaginary lover laid soft kisses on her neck and shoulders for a few minutes before getting on his knees and telling her to bend over. Charlotte would obey and stick her ass out as she gently fingered her pussy, thinking about how he would bury his face between her cheeks and lick at her wet pussy. Charlotte’s mouth watered in lust as she thought about how his strong hands squeezed and fondled her ass cheeks as he lapped up her pussy juices like it was his last meal; her moans filling the entire bathroom. He made her feel oh so delicious.

When Charlotte was close, and her eyes were firmly shut, she softly whispered for “him” to fuck her. She actually enjoyed begging and slipped her fingers deep inside of her pussy, imagining a hard, thick cock squeezing between her pussy lips. Charlotte groaned in pleasure as she rode her fingers; pushing her ass into the hips and thrusts of her lover. Her big breasts bounced and shook with each thrust as their wet flesh smacked against each other and filled the entire room with sounds of their lovemaking.

The water began to cool as it hit Charlotte’s flesh, but she did not care for a moment. In her mind, the only thing that mattered was the fucking she was receiving from this phantom lover. Charlotte threw back her head and let her eyes roll to the back of her head as she felt wave after wave of orgasms crash over her. Charlotte let out a loud moan as her body shook. Despite the intensity of her climax, she knew there was no way it could take the place of the orgasm a thick cock could have provided. Especially at the hands of someone who cared about her and her pleasure. Not just his own.

Charlotte got out of the shower and lazily retrieved her towel; wrapping it around her ample breasts. When she left the bathroom, she crossed over to her bed and crouched down before pulling out a large blue case. Rolling the numbers in place, Charlotte unlocked the case and revealed the large stacks of money inside. Charlotte may have been living on welfare, but that was only because she used the bare minimum of her tips to survive. Altogether, she had raised a total of $7,000. It was still not enough for what she wanted, however. Just outside of the city was a culinary school that Charlotte had wanted to go to when she thought her ex-boyfriend would take care of her. Sadly, she learned that she could not afford the $20,000 tuition at the time. For the past few years, she had nothing else on her mind other than saving her money and eventually fulfilling her dream of having a better life. A life that she would not have to hide from her parents.

She added the money she could spare after rent, food and utilities and closed the case up before sliding it back underneath the bed. Charlotte got up laid down on the cool sheets of her queen sized bed that a friend had given her. Most of her furniture consisted of hand-me-downs that her stripper friends no longer wanted and though she was a little hesitant to take them, she quickly learned what the phrase “beggars can’t be choosers” meant.

Charlotte was about to go to sleep and enjoy her first day off in a long time when her phone went off. She groaned in frustration as she took the phone and stared at the screen.

  Kyle had decided to call.

Charlotte rolled her eyes and in the sweetest voice possible said, “Hey Kyle. Everything ok?”

“Oh yeah,” he said. “Everything is perfect. Listen, you interested in making some extra money doing another show?
Charlotte opened her eyes and sat up.

“Another show?” she asked. “It’s my day off.” She didn’t mean to make it sound so nasty, but he was cutting into her much needed sleep.

Kyle chuckled. “Oh, come on!” he cried. “Who needs a day off anymore? I thought you said you wanted whatever gigs would get you the most money!” Charlotte blushed. She had said a lot of things to get her job and she knew that it was part of the reason that Kyle was so adamant that the two sleep together.

Charlotte sighed. “Fine,” she said. “What’s the gig?”

She knew Kyle was beaming on the other line. “One of my best clients and his crew is coming through late tonight. It’s going to be a great party and they always tip well to my best girls.” Charlotte could feel her ears perking up at the last statement. It was no secret that Charlotte was one of the best dancers Kyle had in his employ. If this was as big of a score as he was saying, she may get a bigger boost to her funds than she thought.

“Alright,” she said. “I’ll do it.”

“That’s my girl,” he said. “Make sure you wear something exciting tonight. These guys love the…nastier girls.” Charlotte could have gagged, but did her best to control herself.

“See you tonight,” she said before hanging up the phone. Charlotte laid in her bed and stared up at the ceiling. She needed her life to be better, but she had no idea how to make that happen.

Danny and Will talked out their plan all day; going over every little detail so that they would be ready for most situations that came their way. Danny could not deny that he was starting to become nervous as they spoke. It was no secret that Bill was a dangerous individual, but what they were talking about was going to war with that type of man. Bill and Jolene on their own were dangerous, but together they were damn near toxic for a boy Brian’s age. As far as Danny was concerned, he was Brian’s father and he would do whatever he could to save him.

The brothers worked on their respective bikes during the afternoon. They knew that the one thing that would get Bill’s attention was a well-tuned machine; and they just so happened to have two of the best in New Orleans. Danny’s bike was a black cruiser while Will went for a more modern sports bike. While he didn’t build it from the ground up, Chuck and Will spent countless hours working on his bike to get it running perfectly.

The two brothers looked at their bikes as they finished their tune ups around the same time. The two admired the sleek lines and gleaming chrome silently agreeing that they still had two of the best bikes in the city.

“You know this isn’t going to be an easy fight,” said Danny.

Will shrugged. “Eh, I was getting bored,” he said. “Besides, what else was I going to do? Besides work on this thing and get drunk.” Danny chuckled. Will moved towards a metal locker in the corner and opened it up. Danny sighed when he realized that Will had opened up his father’s old gun case.

“I don’t think it will come to that, Will,” he said.

Will quickly loaded their handguns with fully loaded magazines. “I hope not,” he said. “But even dad knew better than to have a meeting with Bill Carroll and not bring one just in case.”

Danny nodded. His brother had a good point. The day his father died, Danny found a pistol in the back of his pants. His father was not a paranoid man, but he did have limited faith in other people. Danny was pretty trusting of others, but even he knew he needed to come prepared when meeting Bill. Will handed Danny a pistol and the two placed them in their belts just like their father had. They looked at each other and hugged one last time before they hopped on their bikes and road out of the garage.

Danny didn’t want to let his mother know where he was going. Instead, he told her that he and Danny decided to celebrate his homecoming in the city. He hated lying to her, but he had no choice. Losing her husband was bad enough, but to know that her boys were going to war with someone like Bill would have killed her. They would need to keep their actions a secret until everything was said and done.

The wind whipped across his face as he and his brother sped down the highway; darting between cars and trucks. Danny would have never claimed to be a thrill seeker, but when he was with his brother, the two could not help but take a few more unnecessary risks. Plus, there was no way Danny was going to let his brother claim to be the better driver. Danny sped past his brother to let him know what he wanted and before he knew it, the two were having a race towards the city.

They had gotten into so much trouble as kids racing. While their father probably didn’t appreciate them sneaking out (and they later learned he definitely did not), they both knew that he was just happy that his boys found joy in riding bikes as much as he did.

As the memories of his father entered his mind, his thoughts shifted to those last days when Bill’s antagonizing wore down his father. Danny felt his heart drop a little, but he promptly took a deep breath. Right now was not the time to grow sad or remorseful. He had a job to do. Convincing Bill that the sons of his worst enemy were not there to cause him harm would be challenging. They just needed to be around him and observe, but with so many of their dad’s former crew watching them, the task seemed almost impossible. Danny, especially, had a difficult job. It was no secret that Jolene was his wife and that he had ran away to lick his wounds after the divorce. Will wanted Danny to stay out of the big part of the plan since he figured it would be too difficult to sell a lie for Danny as well, but he wouldn’t hear of it. Bill was a dangerous individual and his brother would not survive without his help. The two always worked best as a team and it was as a team that they would attempt to bring Bill’s stolen kingdom down.

They reached Bourbon Street by the time the streets had just started to become crowded with tourists and locals. They let their engines roar as they road down a side street and drunken spectators cheered them on. Other motorcyclists revved their own engines in greeting as they passed. Danny couldn’t help, but let a smile spread across his face. When he and Jolene were younger, he always loved showing off his bike and his lady to people around him. Back when he felt like he had the perfect life. Though things had changed since then, being back on the road immediately took him back.

His brother was busy doing tricks on his bike to impress a lot of the young college girls. Will was a sucker for co-eds in the shortest of skirts. It had gotten him in more than enough trouble, but Danny admired his commitment to continue making those bad decisions. They provided an unending source of entertainment for him.

The brothers pulled up as close as they could next to Bourbon Street before getting off. They pulled up next to a number of other bikes and they immediately knew they were in the right place. Every biker in New Orleans wanted to be a part of Bill’s crew. If they were here, then Bill was sure to be nearby.

A few girls passed by the two brothers and Will immediately gave them that smile that had won over so many other women.

Danny chuckled. “Your little ass is going to catch something one of these days,” he said. Will turned up his lip to show he didn’t care. Danny shook his head as he confirmed for himself that he had made the right decision of executing this plan with his brother. Getting off their bikes, the two entered the dance club where many of the bikers were enjoying the evening. The club was packed with people and the bass seemed to shake Danny to his bones.

Danny was not a fan of remixes of the day’s current hits, but he knew he had a part to play. He needed to be noticed and being noticed meant being the life of the party. For this performance, he would need to be the scorned lover who was looking for an easy lay and a cheap beer. A part that his young brother seemed to have no problem playing. He had turned his head for only a few moments and Will was already surrounded by women.

“Was that your bike out there that we heard?” asked a girl who had clearly been partying earlier in the night.

“You know it cuteness,” he said. “What’s your name?” She giggled.

  “Candice,” she said. “This
is my friend Maria and my friend Charlotte.” The girl she identified as Maria seemed to have only eyes for Danny, but Charlotte seemed to be the enigma of the group. Unlike her girlfriends, he could tell that she was a bit awkward and uncomfortable in this situation. For that reason alone, she had Danny’s attention.

She was not unattractive at all which made him curious as to why she seemed a bit standoffish. The tight fitting purple dress she wore hugged her curves quite well. Her friends were cute, but Charlotte looked more like a beauty queen than they did. She had short strawberry blonde hair and the most gorgeous baby blue eyes he had ever seen. To him, this girl seemed to drop straight from Heaven and he was thankful for it.

“Nice to meet you,” said Will, who’s body language made it clear to Danny that he too saw what he saw. “This is my brother, Danny.” Danny nodded politely and Maria beamed. Charlotte smiled at Danny, but still seemed a bit stand-offish around them.

“You boys gonna buy us a drink or what?” asked Maria. “Or maybe your mom never taught you any manners.”

Will laughed, “Oh don’t you worry about that,” he said. “Mama raised her boys right. My brother is just a little overwhelmed. He’s getting over a recent divorce.” That seemed to catch Charlotte’s attention. She stared at him and he could tell that she was trying to size him up.

Maria pouted. “Oh you poor thing,” she cooed. “Was it civil?”

It was time for Danny to play the game. “Not in the least,” he said. “She cheated on me.”

Candice scoffed. “What a bitch!” she said, trying to scream over the music. “It’s her loss, man! You know what… first rounds on us.” Maria took his hand even though his attention was still on Charlotte who had still not spoken.

“Don’t worry honey,” she said. “I’ll make sure you forget all about her by the end of the night. I promise.” Danny fought the urge to roll his eyes.
