Zara's Second Chance [One More Time] (Siren Publishing Allure) Page 4

by Mya Larose

In her dazed state of mind, Zara heard Peter’s desperate voice through his gritted teeth. It sent her over the edge. Suddenly, she felt like electricity ran through her body. Her eyes rolled back and closed. She felt an amazing tingly feeling everywhere. It was like an explosion of fireworks. If Peter wasn’t holding her, she would have been lying on the floor like a big puddle of water.

  Chapter 6

He held her warm and relaxed body tight against him while she rode the aftermath of her orgasm. His groin still nestled between her lush thighs. He released her leg slowly, and his fingers sought the smoothness of her skin. She muffled a groan as he rocked her like a child with her head against his chest while he murmured words of praise in her ear. Surrendering to the warmth of the moment, a soft smile played on her crimson lips. She looked like a woman who had been thoroughly pleasured by her man.

  “Peter,” she moaned.

He winced, and his cock leaked and pulsed like it had his own heart. It wasn’t happy. Therefore, it let him know.

  “Yes, sweetheart,” he replied.

“Hmm, I think I soaked your pants.”

He lowered his head to inhale her womanly fragrance from the crown of her head. He couldn’t get enough of it. He didn’t know that such a natural feminine scent smelled heavenly. If he could bottle her scent, he would carry it with him everywhere he went, like an aphrodisiac potion.

“If it was up to me, you’ll be soaking my cock while riding me, sweetheart, but…was it good for you, Zara?”

“Wow! The word good doesn’t even define what I’m feeling right now.”

“I second that.” His voice was husky with need.

His cock tried to come out and play peekaboo with Zara. He tried to put some distance between them, but her statuesque body was like a magnet that drew him back into her bosom. With a sigh, he wrapped his arms around her waist. He put some distance between their groins. He tried to forget about his needs. But man!

If one wanted to torture a man, simply throw him in the arms of a sexy, half-naked woman and demand that he abstain. He never, ever had to restrain himself before.

She released a long, contented sigh that went right to his groin, then looked at him through her long lashes, fluttering them. She gave him the most beautiful smile he ever saw. That did it. His cock was beyond full mast. He ground his teeth as he tried to control his breathing.

He wanted to grab a fistful of her hair, drag her to the nearest flat surface, and have his wicked way with her. Alas, the last thing he wanted to do was to scare Zara with his caveman actions. She was one sexy package and he wanted to have her. To see her au natural would be the only thing that could improve his day. However, it wouldn’t be today. He had to gain her trust first for him to even see her bedroom, let alone the sweet heaven that was her pussy.

“Zara,” he whispered. “You know you can trust me. I would never hurt you.”

“I don’t know, Peter, you have to give me some time.”

At this moment, she looked afraid as well as hopeful. Well, at least she told him the truth. It was better than nothing.

She dislodged herself from his arms and turned her back, but he could see that she was upset. She tried to rearrange her gown. When he put his hand on her shoulder to face him, he felt her tremble.

“Sweetheart,” he pleaded. “You are shaking. What is wrong?”

He could not understand her behavior. He thought she enjoyed their newly found experience. He shook his head and tried to find out where he went wrong. He heard her sniffles. He grabbed her by the shoulders to turn her to him. When he saw her tears streaming down her beautiful face, he felt helpless.

“Please, Zara! Please talk to me. Do you want me to leave you alone?” She strongly shook her head. Still, she wouldn’t talk to him.

“Have I done something wrong or have I hurt you?” Again, she shook her head.

He leaned his forehead against hers as he tried to slow down his breathing. But damn! She drove him insane. He dragged some oxygen in his lungs and breathed out slowly. He cradled her face between his hands. He looked into the depths of her mesmerizing, brown, doe eyes.

“Help me, please! Because I don’t know what to do or say to make it better,” he begged her.

“You didn’t do anything wrong, Peter. It’s me, I’m a complete wreck, as you can see.” She sniffed. “I’m a woman over my thirties. I just realize that I wasted my time on the wrong man,” she confessed.

He kissed her plush lips gently and wiped her tears with his thumbs.

“I’m ashamed to say this. Peter, that was the first time I had one.”

Her last remark surprised as well as confused him. He lifted his head to devour her beautiful face with his eyes.

“One? I still don’t understand. I thought you had a boyfriend.” Perplexedly he asked, “Are you trying to tell me that you’re a virgin, honey?”

Oh! He felt euphoric. Just the thought that he was her first was like a gift sent from God. She released him and turned her back. She made her way out of the kitchen to her living room, so he followed her like a puppy begging for a small token from his mistress.

She sat on her couch and looked at him. With a heavy sigh, she patted the space next to her. He sat down where she indicated, then turned to her and grabbed her by the waist. He lifted her and placed her on his lap. With a soft whine, she held on to his forearms.

“Hah, that’s better. Now! Are you going to tell me what’s making you so sad?”

To have her on his lap wasn’t such a good idea after all. He could feel his cock trying to salute her. Down boy! It wasn’t the time now.

“Well…I told you I had a bad experience with my ex…” Hesitantly, she added, “The problem was basically my weight as well as me not being able to…you know.”

Now she really lost him, and her whole face went completely a lovely shade of pink. She chewed on her beautiful, full bottom lip. He had some ideas about those lips of hers.

He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “No, honey, I don’t know.”

She turned her head away from his hand. Damn, did that hurt! He cringed.

“I never experienced what you did to me in the kitchen with my ex, Peter,” she whispered.

She looked back into his eyes with such tenderness and trust that his heart missed a beat. He knew this beautiful woman was meant for him. He also knew he had lost his heart to her and no other woman would do.

“Are you trying to tell me that’s the first time you had an orgasm, sweetheart?” He groaned.

Just the thought that he was her first made him feel like the strongest man on earth. He felt giddy and he started to chuckle. She brusquely jumped from his lap. She faced him with her shapely legs slightly apart as her fist rested on her hip. His eyes slid up to her face.

She pointed her finger at him. “How dare you make fun of me?”

He felt like a schoolboy being scolded by his teacher, but damn she was gorgeous when she was angry.

“I told you my feelings and your only reaction is to laugh.”

His chuckles transformed into laughter. He couldn’t help himself. He was so happy. Obviously, Zara didn’t share nor understand his strange behavior. Who could blame her, though? He was really messed up, man. He was her first. It was like he was her first lover.

“Get out now! You are an heartless man. I knew it. Gee, you’re just like my ex…if not worse.”

Well, the last remark tempered his mood. Fluidly, he got up and stood in front of her at arm’s length.

“Honey, I wasn’t laughing at you, but at me.” That didn’t come out like he wanted. He inhaled through his nose. “Zara, you might think I’m a strange dude. All the same, I feel blessed to be with you, honey. I’m honored to be your first, honey. Silly, isn’t it?”

He could see her soften to his explanations. Slowly, with the tip of her fingers, she caressed his cheek. He didn’t know what to make of her reaction, so he closed his eyes and savored her gentle touches. Wh
en he opened his eyes, her nose nearly touched his.

With a rueful expression, she said, “I’m sorry, Peter, for jumping to the wrong conclusion. I feel very stupid.”

He couldn’t resist her any longer, so he closed the remaining distance between them and cradled her. He couldn’t seem to get enough of her. He felt her voluptuous body against his. He smelt her fresh, womanly scent. Her body was made for him, every curve, every cranny, and the crook of their bodies fit together.

He held her by her shoulders. “Don’t worry honey, I’m not offended.” As he looked into her eyes, he added, “But never compare me to this good for nothing asshole. Do you understand me, Zara?”

She didn’t answer, only nodded her head in affirmation. He could see that she was more amused than upset. To lighten the ambiance he wanted to renew his invitation for dinner.

“You haven’t given me an answer about going out for dinner.” He winked at her.

  “We were a little distracted.”

“Were we now?” he said. He trailed his fingers along her arms until he took her hands in his. “So what do you say? I know this place where you’ve never been before. I can vouch for the chef. He’s the best in his line of business.” He looked at her to see if she took the bait.

“Is it a guessing game or are you going to tell me where this wonderful place of yours is?” she cheekily replied.

Zara wasn’t a stupid woman, but bless her heart, she played the game. He could see that she tried not to laugh. She chewed on her bottom lip.

“Well, my place of course!” He chuckled.

  “Oh! Of course.”

Suddenly, she burst into a laugh. Her cheeks were a light shade of pink and her lips were bright red, from being chewed on. Her whole face brightened, and she was the most beautiful woman he had the fortune of meeting. She hypnotized him, and he completely forgot that they stood by her sofa facing each other.

“Yes, Peter, I’ll be honored to accept your invitation,” she murmured softly.

She shook her head lightly, seeming to come out of her own reverie. He let go of her hands and put some distance between them. He made his way to the front door.

He held the door handle. “Is half six too early for you?” he asked quietly.

“No, it’s perfect,” she replied. He could see that his behavior bemused her.

With that answer and the last picture of her standing in the middle of the living only wearing her robe, he shut the door gently behind him. That went well, he thought as he shook his head with relief and a happy grin.

  Chapter 7

Closing the front door behind her, Zara bent down to unzip her knee-high boots. She kicked them off beneath her wooden console. She dropped her key into the decorative dish placed on top of the console. She never liked to wear shoes in her flat because she loved the feel of her plush carpeting under her feet. It was like she had tiny little fingers massaging her soles. She let out a bliss sigh and made her way to her sofa, then dropped down on the couch with the elegance of a hippopotamus. She leaned her head on the back of the couch and closed her eyes.

Today she could certify that the quote “Patience is a virtue, possess it if you can, seldom found in woman, never found in man,” was utter rubbish made from one of those snob women who needed a good lay.

She believed that her meeting with Mr. Williams went quite well. Bless him, the man had the patience of a saint. He genuinely tried to explain to her the pros and cons of having a website as well as what to do in case she had to make changes within the site.

She smiled and shook her head slightly. She felt so useless. She rose from the couch and sauntered down the corridor toward her bedroom. Throughout her meeting, she thought of Peter and the events that took place earlier this morning. She still couldn’t believe her behavior toward the man, and she felt her cheeks warming up.

Oh, for the love of God. The man drove her completely nuts. What had he done to her within a few hours? She couldn’t recognize herself anymore. She was constantly horny and couldn’t think straight, let alone knit.

What baffled her the most was that she never, ever felt this way. Those emotions and sexual hunger she felt toward Peter were alien to her. During her time with her ex, she had always taken care of herself sexually.

She had fantasized about him while she tried to understand the jargon Mr. William used. The things she could do to Peter. For instance, she could be on her knees in front of him, his oh-so-tight jeans undone and his cock pointed toward her. She could swirl her tongue around his head and take him deep. His hand would be on the back of her head, and he would pump his hips against her face as he fucked her mouth. Just the thought made her hormones run wild. What would be Mr. Williams’s reaction if he knew her dirty thoughts while he tried to explain? God only knew!

She changed her clothes and underwear into something more comfortable. Thank God Mr. Williams had been unaware of her drenched panties and her soulful expression. She couldn’t tell a lie if her life depended on it.

She had a quick look at the clock sitting on her fireplace before she sauntered back into her living room. It was past one o’clock. Blowing out a breath, she had at least five hours before she saw Peter once more. Her thoughts drifted to him again. She imagined his hand and mouth upon her body while he slid his fingers into her wet snatch.

She rolled her eyes and felt her cheeks burn. She clenched her thighs together, and her clit ached. She tingled from head to toe at the thought. She couldn’t wait to feel his cock deep inside her. Well, hopefully she would tonight if Lady Luck was on her side.

She made her way to the kitchen and toward her fridge. The rumble and groan of her stomach told her it was time to eat. Zara opened the fridge and browsed through the stock of fresh vegetables and fruit she had. She made her mind up for a Turkish omelet called menemen.

She tapped her forefinger against her closed lips. “Let’s see what I need!” she mumbled to herself.

She could see some tomatoes, pepper, onion, a handful of raw mincemeat left over from last night’s dinner, and a couple of eggs. She gathered her ingredients and placed them on the counter, then brought out a frying pan.

While she chopped and trimmed down the vegetables, her thoughts drifted away again. Why didn’t he take her this morning? Why did he drive her crazy like this?

She clenched her thighs again as she felt her pussy weep. She tried hard to forget about her throbbing pussy. She placed the frying pan on the cooker on medium heat and added a knob of butter. She browned the meat, added the vegetables and blanched them slowly, then incorporated the eggs into the mixture.

She watched the omelet sizzle. She had to get her bearings together for tonight or she would throw herself into his arms and tell him to fuck her right there and then. In the process, she would make a complete idiot of herself. She felt like a nymphomaniac, and she shook her head in resignation.

She took the frying pan out of the heat from the cooker and plated the omelet. She settled herself on her chair at the kitchen table as she began to dig in. Closing her eyes, she hummed in appreciation while she enjoyed every mouthful of her omelet.

Long ago, she had accepted the fact that she was full-figured and loved her food. Therefore, she didn’t have any remorse about eating anything. She didn’t see herself as a fat woman, just with more of…well, she called it cushioning.

She put her cutlery onto her empty plate and pushed it aside. If someone asked her the same question about a year ago, her answer would have been the opposite. Her ex did a very good job of destroying her self-esteem.

A year later, with the help of her sister and her friend, she felt confident as well as comfortable in her body. Well, if she was honest with herself, she felt more like a hot mama.

She knew the kind of man that fancied voluptuous women like her. Was Peter that kind of man? What baffled her was that a hunk of a man like Peter was attracted to her. She emitted a long breath. Her mind and thoughts were all in shambles.

  She w
as in a gloomy mood when the doorbell chimed. She got up from her chair slowly and made her way to the living room toward the door. She leaned against the door and looked through the peephole to see who it was. With an exasperated sigh, she opened the door to her sister Yasemin as she watched her walk in without even an invitation. Typical. Zara sighed and shook her head.

“Hello, big sister! How are you today?” Yasemin bent slightly over her and gave her a feathery kiss.

She turned her back to her and made her way to the couch. Zara watched her tall and beautiful sister’s silky hair wave with each step she took.

Closing the door behind her, she followed her sister. “Hey to you, love. What’s bringing you here today?”

“I was talking on the phone with Lara and she mentioned something about your meeting with a web designer this morning. So…how did it go?” she inquired while she settled herself gracefully on the couch.

Yasemin was like a mother hen, especially toward her. There were at least seven years between them.

“It went quite well, actually. I learned quite a lot during a short period of time. Well, just the essentials.”

“Did you eat your lunch, love? I can mix you up something quickly, if you want.” She pointed her thumb toward the kitchen. She turned to face Yasemin, who shook her head in refusal.

“Thanks, I had quick sandwich. However, I would murder for a coffee.” She rose from her seat and followed Zara into the kitchen.

“Oh! I almost forgot about it. Guess who called this morning, bright and early.”

“Who?” Yasemin asked absently. She didn’t have a clue about their mother’s “worries.”

“Mum, of course! And she wanted to know how you can practice such a job as yours and that you have to find a husband and blah blah blah,” she waved her hand. “You know the rest.”

Yasemin sighed heavily. “I genuinely don’t care what she thinks about my job or what she wants me to do,” she replied. She cleared her throat. “Is there anything else you forgot to tell me, then?” she asked.
