Give Me The Reason: A Love Story
Page 12
“Tonight is all about you, bae,” he said climbing on top of her. Fucking was not on the menu. Tonight, he wanted to make love to every inch of her body.
He kissed her passionately while running his fingers through her curly mane. She moaned softly into his mouth, grinding her pussy onto his rock hard dick. He teased her by placing the head of his magic stick on her pulsating clit, refusing to enter her just yet.
“Why are you torturing me?” she panted. Delaney desperately wanted to feel him inside of her.
Tyson proceeded to kiss her lips, breast, stomach, thighs, legs, and feet before coming back up. She was dripping wet and throbbing like a drum yearning to be beaten. If he didn’t stop teasing her she was going to turn into a Tasmanian devil at any second now, and go berserk on his ass.
Tyson gently entered her tight, wet hole, until he was all the way inside of her. He laid there allowing her a minute to adjust to his size. When he felt her grind on his dick, he took that as his signal to go on. He stroked her so good that in a matter of minutes she released her juices all over his hard wood.
“Ohhhhh Tyson, Tyson, Tyson,” she moaned his name over and over again.
“Yes, bae,” he grunted, continuing to stroke her deeply. Tyson was desperately trying to keep from cumming prematurely, but he felt like he was losing the battle. He pulled out of the warmness of her pussy and turned her over. He needed a minute to get his head right. He inserted two fingers into her wet, purring kitten and planted soft kisses on her perfectly round ass cheeks. Before entering her, he bent down and tasted her once more. Delaney moaned loudly, when he ran his tongue up from her pussy to the crack of her ass.
Tyson slammed into her with so much force, that she could’ve sworn her cervix just smiled and her body floated up towards the heavens. He was pounding into her like he was trying to write his name on the inside of her pussy, using his dick as the ink pen. Delaney had cum so many times until she’d lost count. Exhaustion was taking over her trembling limbs, but he was still going hard in the paint.
He held onto her waist tightly as he pumped feverishly in and out of her wet goodness, before finally exploding deeply inside of her. Tyson rolled off of her and landed on his back breathing heavily. Delaney rolled over and laid her head on his chest. He kissed her on the forehead and wrapped his arms around her.
“I love you, Delaney,” he whispered into her ear. “It’s not just the sex either, ma, I fell in love with you the first night that I met you,” he added. Delaney turned around without saying a word. She hadn’t expected him to say that. It didn’t bother Tyson that she didn’t say it back, because there was no doubt in his mind what he felt for her. He spooned Delaney from behind and pulled her closer into his chest before drifting off to sleep.
Chapter Nineteen
Tyson and Delaney had been dating exclusively for the last few months. Everything was going lovely between them. Tyson was on cloud nine, even though he could sense that Delaney still had a few hang-ups with their relationship. He brushed it off, thinking in time she would come around and realize that he was the real deal. The only thing that had been bothering him lately, were the constant phone calls and text messages from his ex, Ashanti. He had yet to return her phone calls and he had no idea why she was blowing him up the way she was.
He erased all of her voice mail messages without even listening to them. He had no desire to hear whatever bullshit game she was trying to run on him. Tyson had moved on and was happy with Delaney. He loved her more and more with each passing day. They spent every free minute they could together. He’d even given her a key to his place so that she could come over whenever she got the itch. Tyson wasn’t a dog lover, but he didn’t even mind that some nights she brought her puppy, Diamond, over to his house. Eventually, he saw them moving in together, so he figured he may as well get used to the little rat dog. He worked most evenings at Lyrical Soul Lounge and often times got in late, only to find Delaney waiting for him with a home-cooked meal on the stove.
She had yet to introduce him to her family. She told him all about her childhood, and the fact that her mother is an alcoholic. The night that she opened up to him and told him about her first and only heart break, he held her and let her get it out. Clearly, she was still holding onto what ole boy did to her so many years ago. But when she shared with him the real deal with her father, he knew exactly where all of her issues stemmed from. He made a vow to her that night to never break her heart. Tyson knew that she still had her doubts. It didn’t matter to him one way or the other, he wasn’t going anywhere and he didn’t care if it took a lifetime for him to prove it to her. He loved her just that much.
Drake and Tyson were the only two left at the lounge. They were preparing to close up for the night. Tyson was anxious to get home to Delaney. She called him when she left work to let him know that she would be at his place when he got home this evening.
“Dawg, you need to holla at Ashanti, asap,” Drake said, coming from the back. Tyson frowned. Why was this nigga bringing up Ashanti’s name?
“Nah, I’m good.”
“For real, bruh, she keeps calling the main line asking for you and leaving messages. She even called my phone tonight,” he said.
“What that got to do with me? I ain’t got nothing to say to that broad,” Tyson said, getting upset. He didn’t know why Drake was pushing him to talk to her in the first place.
“Ok, bruh, have it your way, but don’t say I didn’t warn you,” Drake said, throwing his hands up.
“Yeah, whatever.” Talking about Ashanti always left a bad taste in his mouth.
Drake walked around the lounge flicking off lights, making sure everything was in order before they left.
“How are things with you and Delaney?” he questioned.
“Great.”
“You sure you can handle all of that?” Drake chuckled. Tyson was his man, but Drake wanted a piece of Delaney. He was by no means a hater, but a woman like her needed a man who could wine and dine her. Give her the finer things in life. Tyson lacked the finances it took to take care of a beautiful woman like Delaney.
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Tyson countered.
“I’m just saying, she looks expensive. I’m looking out for you, patna,” he lied. He was really fishing for information. Drake kept pussy on deck, but it was something about Delaney that he craved. He watched her intently each time she came to the lounge to see Tyson, but she wouldn’t ever give him any play. The extent of their conversation was a simple hello in passing. He wasn’t trying to cross his man, but if the opportunity presented itself, he wasn’t so sure he would turn it down either.
“Man, she ain’t even like that. I can handle mine, so we good.” Tyson was becoming irritated with his boy. He didn’t know where all of this was coming from, but Drake needed to fall back and quick. Tyson was far from insecure, but he was nobody’s fool either.
Drake laughed. “Don’t get ya panties all in a wad, dawg? I know you’re good. I’m just fucking witcha. On the real though, you got yaself a beautiful lady.”
“Fuck you, nigga! I ain’t never wore panties and I know what I got. So with that being said, let me get home to her sexy ass. I’ve been here with you too damn long,” Tyson said, standing up. They dapped it up and went their separate ways, with Delaney on both of their minds.
Tyson walked in the door to find Delaney asleep on the sofa with the T.V. on. He went into the kitchen and placed the bowl of spaghetti in the microwave that she’d left on the stove for him. He didn’t want to wake her, so he sat at the dining room table devouring the delicious baked spaghetti and garlic bread. He quickly washed the few dishes he messed up and walked back into the living room to wake his sleeping beauty so that they could go to bed.
He had a surprise for her, but he would wait to tell her about it in the morning.
“Wake up, bae,” he said, lightly shaking her. Delaney’s eyes fluttered open and when she saw Tyson’s handsome face she smiled.
> “Hey, luv, I tried to wait up for you. Did you eat yet or do you need me to warm up your food?” she asked, sitting up.
“No, bae, I already ate. Thanks, it was delicious.” He smiled, rubbing his full stomach. Tyson loved everything about Delaney. Her best feature was her heart. She was sweet, loving, caring, and generous. He wondered what he’d done to deserve this beautiful woman.
“Come on, let’s go to bed,” he said, taking her by the hands and pulling her up from the sofa.
“Un uh, not tonight, Ty. I’m exhausted and I just want to go to sleep,” she said, noticing the lustful look in his eyes. She never denied her man any loving, but tonight she was beyond exhausted. The day had been long and grueling at work and she didn’t have the energy for making love tonight. Tyson didn’t believe in quickies. Every time with him was like being in a marathon.
“Oh you can sleep, right after I run up in ya,” he joked, slapping her lightly on the ass, admiring the way the pink boy shorts cupped her juicy ass. Delaney knew she couldn’t resist him, even on her best day. She shook her head and followed him into the bedroom. Tyson stripped out of his clothes, and jumped in the shower. He was in and out in record time. Knowing Delaney, she was probably already knocked out. He walked into the bedroom, and just like he thought, she was fast asleep. The ringing of his cell phone startled him. He glanced over at the clock on his nightstand. It read 1:23 a.m. He quickly silenced the ringer, hoping it didn’t wake Delaney. He instantly became pissed off when he saw that it was Ashanti calling. He was almost tempted to answer and go off on her silly ass, but instead he turned the ringer off and climbed in the bed beside his woman.
He spooned her from the back and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her softly on the neck. He decided to let her sleep, besides he was no longer in the mood thanks to Ashanti’s bugaboo ass.
Chapter Twenty
Delaney and Natasha made plans earlier in the week to hook up at Lyrical Soul Lounge for open mic night. Delaney had a surprise in store for Tyson and she wanted Natasha to be there, as well. Lately, Natasha had been M.I.A. Delaney didn’t know what was going on with her best friend. She was extremely thankful that Natasha agreed to come, because she was going to need her bestie’s support tonight, for sure.
Delaney walked into the lounge and was greeted warmly by the staff. Over the past few months she’d gotten to know everyone. They had become like a second family.
“Hey girl, are you ready for tonight?” Monique, the hostess asked her. She and Monique had become the closest out of everyone who worked at LSL. She was actually the one who helped set everything up for this evening.
“I am as ready as I’ll ever be,” Delaney said nervously. Her nerves were on one hundred, and that was putting it mildly. Tyson was like a beautiful dream that never ended and tonight she wanted to show her appreciation. Slowly but surely, she was beginning to believe in love again.
“You are going to do an amazing job. I already have your dressing room set up. Gary has spoken to the band and the sound stage manager to make sure that everything is on point,” Monique said with her voice full of excitement. “Oooohh girl, I can’t wait! Even though I’ve watched you rehearse, I still can’t wait to see Tyson’s reaction,” she added. A couple of times last week while Tyson was working at FedEx, Delaney had met Monique and Gary, the host of spoken word Wednesday’s, up at LSL to help her prepare for tonight.
A few days ago, Tyson surprised her with a weekend getaway to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He’d rented a luxurious cabin equipped with a pool table, wet bar, oversized Jacuzzi indoor tub, with an outdoor hot tub off of the balcony of the loft style bedroom. When he showed her the brochure and all of the amenities that the mountain resort offered, she could hardly wait to leave this weekend. Tyson planned a romantic weekend escapade, where no cell phones were allowed, per his instruction. She fell out laughing when he told her that this weekend was going to be full of non-stop fucking and sucking.
Delaney chopped it up with Monique for a few more minutes before heading back to the dressing room. She brought a sexy outfit that she was going to change into right before she hit the stage. Delaney had her head down reading over the poem that she’d written down in her diary, when she ran right smack in the middle of Drake’s wide chest.
“Oh, I’m so sorry,” she apologized, embarrassed by her clumsiness.
“No need for apologies, beautiful,” he said, reaching down to pick up the diary from off of the floor. Drake took his time coming back up, as his eyes drank in her sexiness. The short fuchsia mini skirt showed off well-toned legs, leading up to a pair of smooth, thick, chocolate thighs.
“Thanks,” she said, taking the diary from his large hands. She felt uncomfortable under his intense stare. He had no qualms about hiding the fact that he was attracted to her.
“No thanks necessary, baby,” he said, undressing her with his eyes.
Delaney quickly walked away. She could feel the heat from his eyes burning a hole in her back. She entered the dressing room, locking the door behind her. Drake may have been handsome and rich, but he didn’t touch her baby on his best day. She wasn’t impressed by the amount of money that a man had. It took a whole helluva lot more to get her attention. Delaney noticed the way he lustfully looked at her whenever she was in his presence. She avoided him at all costs. If he didn’t fall back she was going to voice her concerns to Tyson. Drake meant a lot to Tyson and she didn’t want to cause any division between the two best friends, but he was beginning to rub her the wrong way.
The show didn’t start for another hour, so Delaney used the time to go over her performance. She wanted tonight to be flawless. Tyson was going to be stoked! He wasn’t even going to see this coming. That was what made tonight even more special.
Noticing the time was getting away from her, Delaney quickly changed her clothes. She chose a floor-length, form-fitting white body con dress that clung to her curves like it was painted on. It dipped just enough in the front to show off her cleavage, but the back of the dress was her favorite part. The back of the dress plunged downwards in a V shape, stopping right at her ass. Luckily, she had nice perky breasts that sat upright on her chest, because this dress didn’t call for a bra. Her hair was curly and wild, while her face was free of make-up. Tonight was about her being raw, uncut, and vulnerable. The only jewelry she wore, were the emerald-colored diamond studs that Tyson had given her on their first date. Her fingernails and toenails were polished the exact same color of the emerald diamond earrings.
Delaney admired herself in the mirror and was pleased with her overall appearance. She felt exposed and beautiful at the same time. She closed her eyes, inhaled deeply through her nose, and exhaled out of her mouth, attempting to calm her nerves.
The vibrating of her cell phone caused her to open her eyes. She quickly answered the incoming call.
“Are you close?” she said, without bothering to say hello.
“Yes, honey, I am right around the corner. You of all people know how atrocious this Atlanta traffic can be,” Natasha said. “But anyway, boo, I was just calling to let you know that I should be there within the next fifteen minutes or so.”
“Ok, cool. When you come in have Monique take you to the VIP area. I will be tied up for a minute, but sit back and order whatever you want. It’s on me, Sis.”
“Awwww shit, you ain’t said nothing! I see you and Tyson doing the damn thang, all booed up and shit! I ain’t mad atcha. I’m glad to see you finally happy and in love,” Natasha squealed.
“Girl, you’re a mess. Yes, I am very much in love with my man. He is the absolute best,” Delaney admitted. It was crazy that she could tell other people that she loved Tyson, but she had yet to speak the words to him.
“Awww, listen at ya! Yaaaasss bish!!” Natasha hollered.
“Bye girl, I will see you in a little bit,” Delaney chuckled before ending the call.
There was a knock on the door just as she hung up the phone. “Laney, this is Gary. Do you have
a minute?” he asked through the door.
“Yeah, of course,” she said, opening the door so he could come in.
“Whoa! You look amazing,” Gary said. Tyson is one lucky man, he thought to himself as he admired Delaney’s curvy figure.
“Thanks, Gary, but I’m so nervous right now,” she admitted. Her palms were sweaty and her hands were shaky.
“You are going to kill it tonight, so don’t even sweat it. Listen, the band is set up and ready. Tyson just arrived about ten minutes ago and he has no idea that you are opening the show tonight. Monique has already alerted the rest of the staff to be on point, so that when the time comes Tyson won’t be tied up with any customers. In about twenty minutes, I need you to come stand behind the curtain and be ready to rock, okay?” he said, giving her a reassuring smile.
“Okay, it’s now or never.” She smiled weakly.
“You are going to be amazing. I’m getting ready to go on stage and get the show started. Twenty minutes, Delaney,” he reiterated.
She nodded her head, and closed the door behind him. Now that the time was near, she began having second thoughts. But when she thought about Tyson and how he revived her broken heart, proving to her that real love does still exist, she knew what she had to do.
Delaney walked up to the stage and stood behind the curtain. She peeped out and saw Tyson making his rounds. His smile lit up the entire place and caused her to smile, as well.
“Welcome to the Lyrical Soul Lounge, ladies and gentlemen. Tonight, we have a very special guest coming to the stage. But before she comes out, I need Tyson Jones to come to the stage,” Gary announced.
Tyson looked up, confusion written all over his face. Delaney giggled as she peeped out of the curtains. The whole place started to clap. “Come on up here, Tyson,” Gary said, gesturing with his hand.
The lights were turned down low and a chair was brought out on stage as the band started to play softly. Once Tyson made it to the stage, Gary pointed at the chair and Tyson sat down. The look on his face was priceless. When he heard Delaney’s voice, a huge smile spread across his face.
