My Beginning With Mr. Darcy - Book Two Page 41

by Lauren King

Darcy unwraps his gift with pleasure and then proclaims, “I knew they would be sweet and charming designs. I like them very much, sweetheart; thank you.” Darcy kisses her lips tenderly. “When did you have time to do all this embroidering?”

“I planned ahead and did all your gifts on my spare time when we were not together before our wedding – which was not much time at all. That is why my embroidering is not the greatest, darling.” Elizabeth giggles endearingly. “That is my excuse, anyways.” She giggles freely, some more.

“They are pretty, dearest – truly. They are simple but charming.” Darcy smiles satisfyingly.

“I knew I would take a long time embroidering so I did not make the designs elaborate. I hope you are not disappointed with them.” Elizabeth is sincere in her sentiment because she does not like to give him something that is only mediocre in quality. Even if the designs are simple, they should be done well.

“I am never disappointed with your gifts. Like I have said before, anything you give me has great meaning to me, and they all show how much you care for me and think of me. Those aspects mean more to me than you know. I like these handkerchiefs exceedingly, dearest. Thank you. I love your scent on them.” Darcy inhales them heartily. “I really like seeing your initials next to mine. I like these particular initials of yours more than the ones you placed on my carriage blanket.” This time Elizabeth embroiders ‘EVD’ instead of ‘EVB’.

“I love my new initials, too.” Elizabeth smiles with great joy. “I like our initials together very much; that is why I embroidered them like that. Any young lady seeing your handkerchief will definitely know that you have a special lady in your life – no doubt about that.” Elizabeth teases animatedly as she grins widely.

“Lizzzzy.” Darcy blithely narrows his eyes at Elizabeth and she giggles.

Elizabeth knows what it means when her name is accentuated and pronounced in that manner; William does not like what she just insinuated. She knows he is jesting with his displeasure, thus she coyly provokes him further. “Is it not true, darling?” She asks most innocently. “Would not everyone know that those must be the initials of your special lady if they saw it?”

“You did not say ‘everyone’ – you said ‘any young lady’. Now, why would any young lady see my handkerchief? Do you think I walk around offering it to young ladies?” Darcy light-heartedly glares at his wife’s drollness, and then he grasps her waist to pull her up against him. Her body is plastered against his, and she can certainly feel his ardor for her. She giggles nonstop. “Is that what I do, Lizzy? I walk around offering my handkerchief to young ladies? Answer me, please.” Darcy jokes as he gets ready to tickle his wife.

William’s eyes have a glint in them, thus she knows he is about to tickle her for revenge. She answers effortlessly and ingenuously, “I did not say any such thing, darling. You must not have heard me correctly with your old age approaching and all that.”

“Lizzzzy.” Darcy humorously leers at her and slowly starts to move his fingers in a tickling motion as Elizabeth tries to hold them still with a widening grin of her own.

“Honestly, darling; I said no such thing.” Elizabeth grasps William’s hands tightly at her waist as she tries to explain her earlier comment. “I think I meant to say ‘everybody’ but ‘young lady’ came out of my mouth because my brain was thinking that a gentleman would not need your handkerchief; they would have their own. Is that not true, sweetheart?” She artlessly bats her lashes at him.

“Oh, now I am old, am I? You are very clever, dearest. I like my wife clever and beautiful and captivating!” Darcy swiftly and speedily scoops her up in his arms and puts her on their bed as his body covers hers. He kisses all over her face and down to her neck and bosom. “Let me show you what this old man can do to you. Would you like that, love?”

“Are you sure you are not tired being another year older today, darling?” She teases and giggles relentlessly as she caresses his back and then boldly moves down to his bottom and squeezes it firmly. His bottom is nice and tight, and she likes to squeeze it while they make love.

“Let us see if I am old and tired or not.” Darcy devours her mouth and his hand maneuvers under her robe to find her special spot. He rubs it instantly and briskly. He will show her who is old!

Elizabeth moans as the sensation builds in her core. She can never resist him; she was only trying to distract him with her gift after they had gotten dressed for dinner not entice him into making love again. She will not deny him love when he wants it. However, she will have to keep her voice down. The guests should be arriving soon; they know to show up at exactly six o’clock and quietly gather in the large drawing room on the first floor to wait for Elizabeth to guide William in there for his surprise.

William is relentless with his ministrations; he removes his trousers hurriedly, and then he enters her core energetically. She moans and pushes his shirt off of his shoulders so she can suck it to hide her moaning; she wants to keep quiet. She is going to mark him there too so he is not suspicious as to why she is not moaning loudly as usual. William is very perceptive of her actions. She has one of her hands on his shoulder as she marks him. Her other hand is on his buttocks pushing and coaxing him to love her more.

“Oh, love! You feel tight and good!” Darcy groans gratifyingly. “Can you feel me love you?”

“Yesss!” She goes back to suckling him so she can keep her voice down.

“Am I too old to satisfy you, love?” Darcy groans and teases simultaneously. “Tell me, Lizzy.” He pushes in and out, over and over again.

“Uhhh! Uhhh! You are perfect! Not old! Uhhh! Yess!” She just cannot help it. She really hopes William is correct when he told her that their bed chambers have thick walls and doors and are well insulated from the outside. Last week, she made him stand inside her bed chambers and talk really loudly as she stood outside of Georgiana’s chambers to see if she could hear his voice. He had laughed at her for wanting to test this because Georgiana’s chambers is across the large hall and diagonal to their chambers. However, she did not care; she just wanted to make sure that Georgiana would not be able to hear them if they were loud while making love. Afterwards, Elizabeth went down to the drawing room on the second floor for another test. As it turns out again, she could not hear William there either. She was relieved.

“I am perfect for you now?” Darcy continues to drive into her the way they both like. He had exposed her breasts when he laid her back before plundering her depths. He loves to see her breasts bounce freely while he loves her unreservedly. They entrance him with pure lust.

“Yess! Yess! William, I am there! I am there!” Her eyes are half closed like in a trance. She can only feel the pleasure and love that William is bestowing upon her. It is the best sensation ever! “Williammmm!”

Darcy pumps in and out faster to give Elizabeth even more gratification. “Let it come, love! Feel it! Lizzy! Lizzzzy!” Darcy expends himself most satisfyingly inside of his alluring wife as he has been doing the last twenty three days of their wonderful marriage. He has never felt a better feeling or sensation than making love to his wife.

They lie pressed up against each other trying to calm their breathing. Goodness, that was quite a distraction. They caress and kiss each other tenderly for a few minutes before Darcy disconnects from her. As usual, he cleans her tenderly. She feels exceedingly cherished and loved from his care of her. She still cannot believe this is how marvelous loving one’s husband can be. How can this ever be considered a burden? However, she can imagine that in marriages of convenience, this act would surely be a burden for the woman to tolerate with a husband who she does not want or love. Elizabeth is simply blessed to have William; she could not be more grateful.

Darcy and Elizabeth walk down to the large drawing room on the first floor to retrieve her hair comb that she supposedly left behind. The footman sees their approach, thus he opens the door for them.

Elizabeth pretends to occupy her hands by checking he
r hair pins in her hair. Nonchalantly, she requests William to step inside the room first so he can retrieve her hair comb for her. “Darling, will you please retrieve my comb on the side table to the right side of the door?”

“Certainly.” Darcy steps into the drawing with the intent to go straight to the side table.

  “SURPRISE!!”

Darcy is thoroughly surprised, to say the least, as he looks to the left side of the drawing room where his guests were hiding. Instantly, he turns around to his wife to see an enormous grin on her beautiful face as she claps her hands while almost bouncing with joy.

“Surprise, darling! Happy birthday!” Elizabeth continues to clap gleefully until William clasps her hand in his and lovingly pulls her into his embrace. He does not care that his guests see his affections for his wife. He, tenderly, kisses her forehead as he encompasses her entire body within his arms, and she giggles with delight while standing within his warm hug.

“Thank you, Lizzy. You arranged all this?” Darcy asks cheerfully as he releases her from his embrace. He is sweetly astonished and a little embarrassed at all the attention – as if he was seven years old again.

“Yes, are you surprised, darling?” Elizabeth’s joy and giggles cannot be hidden as she squeezes his hand excitedly.

“Yes, indeed.” Darcy grins handsomely as he kisses the back of her hands.

  “Surprised in a good way?”

“Yes – in a very good way.” Darcy kisses her other hand lingeringly.

“Happy twenty-eighth birthday, darling. I love you.” Elizabeth hugs William’s arm to show her affections; as a woman, she could not be so bold, in front of all their guests, to kiss his delectable lips right here, although she wants to.

“Thank you, dearest. I love you, too.” Darcy’s eyes are ablaze with love for his wife, and he wants to kiss her lips senseless, but that will have to wait. He cannot display such brazen affection in front of everyone here, so he settles for kissing the back of her hands.

Elizabeth sees his reaction and is shy at his fervent expression in this setting. She has become accustomed to his show of affection when they are together, but she knows that he will not be too blatant in front of others.

All the guests make their way over to Darcy to wish him a happy birthday – Georgiana, Richard, Lord and Lady Matlock, Andrew, Sarah, Jane, Morgan, Bingley, Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner, and Godfather Nicolas.

Elizabeth greets Sarah cordially. She does not feel that she will become very close with Sarah because of what Sarah had tried to do for her cousin – Miss Juliet. Elizabeth feels that even though Sarah only brought Miss Juliet over to greet William at her wedding breakfast, Sarah should have known that it was not the most proper thing to do especially if she knew her cousin’s intent. Sarah should not have been a party to it. Elizabeth was hoping to become good friends with Richard’s and Andrew’s wives when they were married because both men are close cousins to William. However, it will be difficult now due to what Sarah had tried to do in regards to William. It is an offense that will be hard for Elizabeth to forgive and forget especially when Sarah seems indifferent towards Elizabeth, anyways.

Elizabeth is also not as close with Richard as she would have been had he not offended her at his brother’s wedding breakfast. However, her grievance against him is waning because he seemed to be truly repentant of his unintentional wrong towards her. Her natural buoyant personality tends to forgive many people for their offenses against her, especially close family members or friends. However, there are two family members that she cannot forgive – her Mother and Lydia.

Everyone enjoys the dinner, music and singing performances, and lively conversations. She can see that Mr. Bingley still slyly glimpses at Jane a few times throughout the night, but Jane is happily occupied with the other guests. Elizabeth rethought about not including Mr. Bingley; she thought that would have been too hurtful towards him should he find out that he was not included in William’s birthday party. After all, they are very good friends and isolating him now would seem unkind and wounding to their friendship.

At one point, Mr. Bingley does mingle with Elizabeth, William, Jane, and Mr. Morgan when they all stand together. Elizabeth tries to create cheery conversations so no one is uncomfortable. When Richard joins them, Elizabeth lets him take over entertaining the group. There is always laughter when Richard is near. That is why Elizabeth has always felt comfortable being his friend; he makes everybody feel at ease. It is also why being upset at Richard is difficult.

Later on, Richard playfully asks Elizabeth, in Darcy’s presence, if she has honestly forgiven him for his thoughtlessness. She could not deny that he has been truly sorry for what he unknowingly did; therefore, she told him that she has forgiven him.

“I was just hurt because I thought that you were my good friend not Miss Juliet’s.” Elizabeth states lightheartedly.

“You are my good friend and cousin, now, Elizabeth – not Miss Juliet. I am genuinely sorry for my carelessness. It will not happen again.” Richard responds contritely. He is very glad that Elizabeth seems like herself again, towards him. He wonders how she will feel when he introduces Miss Grace Winchester to her as someone he is courting. Elizabeth must know that Miss Grace is Sarah’s and Miss Juliet’s cousin – oh no…Elizabeth may blame Miss Grace as she had blamed Sarah for her role with Miss Juliet dancing with Darcy. Oh well, he will have to see how they interact and then go from there.

“I believe you, Cousin Richard who is also my good friend.” Elizabeth smiles amiably. She cannot be mad at Richard when he is so joyous; she does not want to be at odds with him.

Darcy gazes at his wife adoringly and understandingly as he caresses one of her hands; she truly was hurt by Richard’s actions that night. He is glad that she is a kind and considerate person; he does not want there to be discord between his wife and his best friend who is his cousin.

Throughout the party, they chat with each of the guests and made everyone comfortable. Elizabeth is very happy with how the dinner celebration turned out. This was her first official dinner party given as Mrs. Darcy, and Lady Matlock praised that she did a fine job with everything. Elizabeth was glad because she did not want to embarrass William in any way.

When they turn in for the night, they sit on the sofa in front of the fireplace. Elizabeth announces that she has a final birthday present for William. Instantly, he encircles her in his embrace and starts to kiss her neck and unties her robe to ease it off of her. Elizabeth giggles because she can imagine that he thinks she is offering her intimacies which she will give him, no matter what, but she actually does have a real birthday gift for him.

“Darling, it is not what you are thinking of.” Elizabeth could not help but giggle some more. “Darling, I have to get your gift from my desk drawer.” Elizabeth tries to remove his hands from squeezing her bottom and her breasts. Finally, she is able to extricate herself from William’s ardent clutches to retrieve the present.

Elizabeth hides the gift box behind her back as she merrily walks back to William. She stands in front of him while he remains seated at the sofa looking up at her with fond, tender eyes exclusively for her. She bends to kiss his lips, and he reaches for her to guide her to sit on his lap.

Elizabeth presents her gift to William and then says, “Darling, I saw this when we were out shopping one day, and I thought how nice it would be for you, especially since I have yours, now. I hope you like it.” She smiles brightly while contentedly sitting on his lap; when they are amorous, he prefers her sitting on his lap which is much of the time. She impatiently waits for him to open his gift.

“Dearest, you already gave me a gift earlier and a surprise birthday party.” Darcy says dotingly as he holds his gift.

“But this is your real gift; the handkerchiefs were only decoys so that you would not find out about the surprise party. Open it, darling!” Elizabeth leans in to kiss his cheek again and then playfully shakes William’s hand that is holding the gift.

  “Th
ank you, sweetheart. You are precious.” Darcy says sincerely and with great warmth, he kisses her lips affectionately.

Impatiently, Elizabeth rushes William. “Darling, can you open it faster, please?” Elizabeth giggles as she hugs William’s waist and rests her face in the nook of his neck as he gaily opens his gift. She cannot help but sniff his natural manly scent that she adores and then kisses his neck freely. She wants to mark the base of his neck, so she does it quickly while he is occupied with opening his gift. She hears him gently hiss through his teeth when she suckles hard to leave her love mark. She looks at her work before going back and suckling a little longer to leave a burgundy love mark where only he, she, and his valet will see. She is less shy about this now because William keeps telling her that he wants her to do whatever she wants and not be limited by what his valet will see or think. Certainly, his valet knows how much Darcy loves his wife and that Darcy allows her all sorts of liberties.

“Lizzy…this is very nice, dearest. This is a very good pocket watch; this maker is known for their great craftsmanship.” Darcy admires his gift intently, and then he looks at Elizabeth with surprise. “Dearest, there is an engraving entwined into these designs. Let me see…”

Elizabeth nods with apparent bliss; she is so glad she thought of engraving this message within the watch cover’s designs. Since the message is on the outside cover, she had to explain to her Aunt in detail how she wanted it so her love message to her husband would not look too gaudy when anyone else sees his pocket watch.

“…To my one and only love, Fitzwilliam Darcy. Sweetheart, this is very clever; I adore it.” Darcy kisses her lips in thanks. When he opens the gold front cover, he sees a small lock of curly dark auburn hair tied with a yellow ribbon. He knows that this is Elizabeth’s hair. “Dearest, this is very sweet of you. It is exactly what I want so that I can have you with me all the time.” Darcy grins blissfully as he leans in to kiss her luscious lips.
