“Liza,” his voice was raw with desire as he spoke my name as if it were a plea of his own.

“T, I want you,” I told him before taking his lip and sucking on it as he’d done to mine only moments ago. That was all it took. Within minutes he had me out of every stitch of clothing I’d put on that morning. Then he was moving to take his clothes off too in order to even the playing field. I sat back and watched. When he realized that was what I was doing his movements slowed. He gripped that bottom lip of his in between his teeth as he slid the zipper of his pants down and then he got up on his knees and made a production about the unveiling of his thick and veiny cock. The head of which stuck out above where he’d pulled his jeans down, thicker than the rest of him, and looking for the entire world like it would hit every sensitive spot inside my wanton body the moment he got inside me.

“I can’t,” he finally stated forcing me to look up and meet his eyes. His were hooded with lust and strain. “I can’t be patient, baby. I need you.”

“Then take me, I’m yours.” In any other situation, I would have rolled my eyes at the cheesy line I muttered, but not now. There was no other way to phrase it. I was his. I had known it for a while now, and this just seemed like the perfect culmination of everything I’d been feeling.

His clothes joined mine on the floor of the bedroom before he crawled right up my body settling himself in the cradle formed by my spread legs. I loved the feel of his weight draped across me as the warmth from his body seeped into mine, almost its own kind of embrace. Tango leaned in and took my lips with his once more, before blowing me away with his admission.

“I haven’t kissed a woman in almost three years, and I have to say it was worth the wait.”

“What?” My single word questioning response was one of shock and disbelief.

  “I’ve never kissed a woman since…”

“I thought you were just exaggerating when you told Amy that you had never kissed her.” I shook the thought of Amy out of my head. That woman had caused enough problems for Tango and myself. At least, she had attempted to cause problems, but the last place I wanted to invite her memory was while we were in bed together. “Never mind all that, come here,” I all but growled before I pulled Tango closer and took another kiss from his pliant lips. His erection rested against my pubic bone, enticing me, and so I lifted my hips and rubbed myself against him like the wanton little slut I suddenly felt like. Pure heated desire pumped through my veins as I did so. I was cleanly shaven down there, and wet enough that when I rubbed against him he slid easily between my lips and causing a another groan to fall from his lips just before he dipped his head and started nipping at my neck.

“Jesus, just this feels so damn good, babe. Dry humping like a couple kids shouldn’t feel this fuckin’ good.”

“I wouldn’t exactly call it dry,” I teased causing him to laugh and wrap his arms around me to pull me over on top of him, where he immediately smacked my ass.

“Smart ass, now you get to do the work.” The smirk on his face told me he didn’t plan on letting me have control long, and I wasn’t stupid. By putting me in this position he was still calling the shots. It was good to see I hadn’t been wrong about what I thought he’d be like in bed. And yes, I’d thought it about too often. The real thing was a far better option, and one I planned to explore until I was too tired to move. I slipped down over his hard cock and threw my head back at the fullness I felt with him stretching me as I slid down him with a swivel of my hips. “Fuck,” he hissed out between clenched teeth while holding onto my hips in a grip that made me feel like he was afraid I would run. There was no way I was running from this or from him. No way in hell. With a little encouragement from Tango, I started moving on him, lifting and plunging with little flourishes of movement thrown in the mix to make sure he was hitting the right spots inside me, and because when I tilted my hips a certain Tango’s grip tightened and his panting breaths came faster and heavier than before.

I rolled my hips and dipped back down taking his full length inside me when Tango had enough. He flipped us, putting me on my hands and knees as he entered me from behind with zero hesitation. The man went to work running one arm up under me to play with my stiff nipples and the other down around my waste to curl his fingers toward my clit and rub there. “Fuck, Liza, I don’t think I can hold out much longer. It’s been so long, and you feel like heaven.” A hissed breath followed that statement, as I slammed harder back into him.

“Almost,” I started to say when Tango’s fingers got busy on my clit; rubbing me to the same rhythm he was pumping me with. I had just been teetering on the edge when he leaned in, bit my shoulder, pressed harder on my clit, and slammed into me all at once bringing a rushing torrent of pleasure streaming through my body. Everything between my legs was a slick mess of clenching sex. Tango pulled out at the last minute and shot his load all over my backside, taking the time to rub it in to my ass cheeks as he did so.

“I’m claiming you, babe. I need you to know that. Need you to understand. You’re mine. Even if we kill them all tomorrow and leave nothing behind that could ever harm you again, I want you to stay. I want you to be here with me.”

“There’s nowhere else I’d rather be,” I told him before I collapsed fully on top of the bed with a good portion of Tango’s weight riding down with me. My body had become a tingly mass of goo. In that moment I could have sworn I had gone completely boneless. Aside from the physical, my world had also boiled down to a peaceful, fulfilled place where Tango made me exceedingly happy, safe, and even though we hadn’t said anything about it yet I also felt loved.

  Chapter 14

  Liza

Tango and the rest of the guys packed up and rode out early in the morning before the sun even came up. In spite of the fact that I thought they would ask me to go eventually, they never did. I couldn’t help thinking that my family’s mess was the only reason they had to ride out at all, let alone en mass the way they had. I worried, and when I glanced around the commons and saw the serious faces on the few men that were left behind I felt even worse. This was all my doing. Well, not mine, but my brother’s. That was basically the same thing at this point.

“You doing all right, Liza?” Rage asked me in that gruff voice of his. I nodded my head, but he obviously didn’t believe me. Instead, he patted the stool next to him at the bar. “Come on, have a seat. Charlie will be back in just a minute, and she’s gonna need the company while I’m busy with other stuff today.”

“I’m worried,” I finally admitted after a few moments of silence passed between us.

“I know you are, sweetheart. That’s normal. You shouldn’t be though, because my boys won’t let anything happen to T.”

“I’m not just worried for Tango,” I explained as I turned to look Rage in the eye. “I’m worried for all of them. This is my family’s drama, and all of your guys are out there putting their necks on the chopping block.” My hands were flying as I spoke, as if the movement would get my point across about how serious this was.

The smile that passed over Rage’s lips was genuine as he spoke. “Trust me when I say, they’ve got this, and not a single man isn’t exactly where he wants to be right now. Those guys are there because you’re ours now too. You belong to this family as much as you belonged to the family you and your brother grew up in. He fucked up, it affected you, that means it affects us now too, and we fix it.”

My lower lip quivered a bit at that, because it had been a while since I felt like I was part of a family. My own had been pretty dysfunctional, and then with everything that happened when I was 19, and my brother’s craziness screwed me over before making it impossible to have a decent relationship with him. “Thanks,” I managed to mutter out as Charlie wandered up, and planted herself behind the bar.

“What the hell are you doing, woman?”

“I’m going to get Liza drunk, because she looks like she needs it.”

“It’s not even noon,” Rage insisted.<
br />
Charlie narrowed her eyes on him. “Are you telling me with all the day drinking that goes on here from time to time that Liza, of all people, shouldn’t partake in the tradition? Damn, she’s worried, frightened, and completely on edge. I know this, because it’s exactly how I felt not that long ago when my own shit was going down.”

I gulped down a ball of all of those emotions, as Rage seemed to take in what she was saying. “Fine, but not too much, and I don’t want either of you leaving this space. I have to do some shit in the office, but Ashton and Cricket will be out here with you two for the time being. If you need anything just tell them, and they’ll make it happen.” Charlie’s eyes lit up, and she started rubbing her palms together as if she had just the greedy little demand lined up for such an occasion.

  “Within reason, babe.”

Her bottom lip poked out in a mock pout. “You’re no fun!”

Rage leaned in across the bar and planted a searing hot kiss on his woman’s mouth and then winked at her as he walked away. “I’m plenty of fun, sweet cheeks, now just isn’t the time for the kind of fun you like. Later though!”

  “You better believe it!”

“You two are hilarious,” I stated as Charlie set a glass down in front of me and then lifted a finger up to her chin as if it would help her think.

“We should probably start off with something that has juice of some kind in it. That way you can say you had a healthy lunch.”

I just shook my head and laughed at the woman as she made me a fruity concoction that included way more rum than juice. She was doing what she set out to do. My mind was officially taken off of all the things I couldn’t control as I found myself sipping the drink Charlie had made for me. It was quite tasty and after another I was finally able to relax and let loose a little.

It was after three drinks that Charlie ended up ducking into the back room with Rage for a bit. Clearly, he had been ready for some of that fun he teased her about earlier. Sherry-Baby sat down beside me and smiled warmly.

“You’re good for him, you know?”

“I’m sorry?” I asked, not quite understanding what she was getting at.

“Tango, you’re good for him. He’s been smiling, and he’s been more available to the club members since you came around. I think he avoided everyone before, because that psycho Amy wanted everyone to think he belonged to her too. It made him miserable.”

“Yeah, I gathered that much for myself.”

“But he’s not miserable anymore. It’s almost like he has this glow now that wasn’t there before. Even before Amy, he didn’t have it. You gave it to him.” Sherry Baby nodded her head as if deciding something. “I like that about you, because Tango is a good guy, and he deserves someone who makes him light up like that.”

“Well, thank you, I hope I can continue to make him happy.” I took a sip of my drink and eyed the woman again. Her blond hair curled beautifully over her shoulders and while she wore a lot more makeup on a normal day than I would on a special night out, it was obvious she was just as naturally beautiful underneath.

“Do you have a favorite?” I found myself asking, and the question caused Sherry to blush profusely.

“I don’t think I’m supposed to,” she admitted finally.

“It’s just the two of us here.” I leaned in closer to her and whispered, “I won’t tell anyone, promise.”

She giggled. “Well, I’ve always sort of had a thing for Rabbit. I used to crush on Steel, but he transferred to the Sierra High Chapter.”

  “Do you think Rabbit knows?”

She shook her head and took a sip of her drink. “No, he doesn’t notice me, or any of the other girls. He talks big about hooking up all the time, but if he does it, it’s almost never here, and almost always with a girl who isn’t sticking around.” She sighed long and her shoulders slumped with the tension she let out on that breath. “I think he has a thing for Cherry’s sister. Cherry and Chastity work over at Ruby’s as dancers. It’s hard to beat that twin act they do whenever Chastity actually shows up. That girl is pure trouble though, and not the good kind. I don’t know what Rabbit sees in her, but it’s a whole lot more than he’s ever seen in me.”

“Is he mean to you?” I was just drunk enough that I was about to defend this girl to the man himself, if only I could conjure him out of thin air. I may have had a brief run-in with the BRATs when I first got here, but Sherry Baby had never been anything but sweet to me.

“No, nothing like that. It’s more like I’m invisible to him now.”

  “Now?”

“We were together once before, I had one wild night with him, and then the next day when he looked like he was headed towards me for more than just breakfast, another brother cornered me. I had to watch as Rabbit walked away without another word. He never touched me again after that.”

“Well, that sucks,” I stated, my words the tiniest bit slurred.

She just shrugged before Rage and Charlie reappeared from the backroom looking rumpled and wearing shit eating grins on both of their faces. “What’s going on, ladies?”

“Rage,” Sherry Baby acknowledged him. She said nothing to Charlie though, and I wasn’t sure if it was a deliberate snub, or if she didn’t think Charlie wanted to hear from her. Either way, I figured that was their dynamic to work out.

Before I could people watch and see how that situation played out my cell phone started ringing in my pocket. I pulled it out to see Michelle’s name. “Michelle? What’s going on?”

I listened as she freaked out, screaming and yelling into the phone, sometimes slipping into Spanish, then back to English again. I got the gist of what she was saying though. My brother had been missing for two days. She thought he’d been with her cousin Lou, but Lou came around to see why Frankie never showed, and it quickly became evident that something was wrong.

“When is the last time you saw him?” I finally managed to ask, wondering if my brother was dead or alive had just sobered my ass right the hell up.

“Put it on speaker phone,” Rage demanded as he strolled up beside me attempting to look nonchalant, but I knew better. Tension rested heavy on his frame as he stood stock-still waiting for me to do as I was told. I didn’t hesitate in following orders either. These guys were protecting me, the least I could do was help them out by letting them know our enemies might have captured or killed my brother.

Rage listened while tapping away on his own cell phone. I wasn’t certain whom he was talking to until he started speaking again. “Michelle, this is Rage, Vice President of the Aces High MC Dakotas Chapter, there will be a man knocking on your door in two minutes. He is a friend of ours, and will be helping you gather your things so we can get you somewhere safe,” Rage informed her.

Michelle immediately started wailing. “Oh my God, he’s dead. I knew it. How am I going to explain this to our baby?”

“Michelle, you need to calm down. No one said Frankie was dead. We just want to get you somewhere you can be protected, okay?”

“Yeah,” she managed to blubber out the word just as we heard a distinctive knocking on her front door. She shrieked, and no doubt jumped at the sound. Still, she asked. “Is that your man?”

“Yeah, that’s our guy,” Rage confirmed after checking his phone. “Go let him in.”

“Okay, are you bringing me to Liza?”

“No,” Rage told her as he looked at me, his eyes full of warning. It was obvious he didn’t want me protesting for some reason so I stayed quiet and listened. “It’s too dangerous to have you both in the same place. It makes us a bigger target. We’re sending you somewhere else, but you won’t know where you’re going until we get you there. That’s a precaution to keep you safe, because you don’t know who you can trust right now, Michelle. You get me?”

  “I understand.”

I understood too, but I didn’t necessarily like it. I had hoped to see Michelle so I could keep her calm. The last thing she needed was to lose her baby because of al
l this drama her ex-boyfriend created. Once Rage got Michelle talked down and his buddy in the door at Michelle’s place helping her pack he called one of the guys that had gone to Casper, Wyoming. That had been determined to be the best mid-point between the Aces High MC clubhouse and the one owned and run by the King’s Demons in Boulder, Colorado. It was where Tango had gone earlier, and now I wondered if my brother was there too, or if we would ever find out what happened to him.

  Chapter 15

  Tango

We had ridden hard in order to get to the meet up point with enough time to set up and be prepared for the King’s Demons. A quick shot of adrenaline to the system when someone was there waiting on us gave me the boost I needed to chase away the exhaustion that was eating away at my bones. A lone figure stood next to the Harley Road King Special that sat out front. I almost laughed, because it was always the older guys with the touring bikes, but this man couldn’t have been more than mid-thirties.

We maneuvered our bikes into two groups, one along the side of the building and the other around the back under a canopied area that would hide them and make it look like we showed with a lot less men. I stayed with Iceman and Shameless as we moved to greet the stranger among us, the one wearing a King’s Demons kutte.

“Guy,” Iceman greeted, as if this were an expected outcome.

“Iceman,” Guy returned before blowing out a breath and shaking his head. “Checked into some things. Seems you were on the level with the information you were giving us. My men know the deal. They won’t engage to help or hinder.”
