ROYAL ENTRAPMENT

Moving as fast as a tornado, he stooped and lifted her in his arms, cradling her against his chest.
“What are you doing?” She kicked her legs in protest.
“Who said anything about sleeping?”
Jasmine wanted to fight him, but Ares knew just where to touch her, how to hold her, the right place to place his tongue. And he would use every weapon in his arsenal.
The mattress dipped beneath her as he laid her down atop the thick blankets. Her eyes wide, she stared up into his ebony orbs. “What are you doing to do?” She hated the breathless quality of her voice.
He pushed the hem of her dress up to her waist and stroked her thighs. “Your skin is so soft.” His lips replaced her hands, his hot breath teasing her flesh. “And silky.” He rubbed his cheek in between her legs and Jasmine parted her thighs.
She’d been right. He withdrew his best weapon.
His tongue.
She waited, breathlessly, anticipation climbing up her spine. “Ares.”
“Shhh, my sweet,” he instructed, his mouth now closer to her pussy. He whispered against her lips before his tongue slipped out to stroke the crease.
Jasmine moaned.
Ares nibbled her skin, stroking her walls, nibbling, licking until she squirmed beneath him. Then he began to worship her clit, rolling it around his tongue, increasing the pressure. He shoved his index finger and middle finger deep inside her. Jasmine lifted her hips off the bed and ground her pussy against his face.
“Yes, yes,” she moaned.
He withdrew his fingers to thrust his tongue deep into her channel and Jasmine cried out, bunching her hands in the coverlet. He cupped her ass, eating her with such fervor, she came within seconds, her muscles jumping and quivering. She moaned and clutched at him, reaching to draw him to her.
Ares slid up the bed, coming to his knees. “I have to fuck you.”
Her thighs opened even wider and she brought her knees up to her chest. “Do it. Fuck me.”
He snapped his fingers and his clothes fell away. His cock jutted upwards, bumping her swollen opening. He didn’t stop. One thrust took him deep. Jasmine cried out and Ares groaned.
He fucked her hard, driving into her with relentless, fierce thrusts. “Hell, yeah,” he ground out. Jasmine dug her fingernails into her hips and held him tightly as he came, his groans warning with pants.
Then he collapsed on top of her and she smelled his warm skin, tested its saltiness with the tip of her tongue which mingled with the tears on her cheeks.
They lay wrapped in each other’s arms, her head pillowed on his chest. She heard the steady thudding of his heart and felt the security of his embrace. But it was all a farce. Ares had married her only to save his life. Nothing more. She would have to remember that if she was to survive in this marriage.
“What are you thinking?” Ares’ deep voice startled her.
“Nothing,” she lied.
“Jasmine.”
“What?”
“I wasn’t lying when I said I love you.”
She caught her breath. “We can talk about this later.” She hooked her leg over his, hoping to distract him.
He propped himself up on his elbow. “Why don’t you want to talk about it now?”
“Because we’ve told enough lies.”
His jaw tightened. “I’m not lying.”
She closed her eyes. “ Let’s just go to sleep, Ares.”
He kissed her cheeks, her eyes and then her lips. “As you wish tonight, Jasmine, but tomorrow, we’ll talk about this, all day if we have to, but I will convince you that I mean what I say.” He cupped her face and brushed his lips over hers several times in a row. “I love you.”
Jasmine refused to open her eyes. She couldn’t look at him now. Her heart was breaking.
“You’ll believe me one day,” he promised her, tightening his hold. “I’ll make sure of it.”
She wished she could believe him now.
“Just promise me you’ll give me a chance. You’ll give us a chance.”
She reached up and touched his face. “Promises are easily broken, Ares.”
“Then tell me you’ll at least try to give me a chance.”
Her eyes opened then and the raw pain she saw in his made her relent even if slightly. “I’ll try.”
His shoulders relaxed and Jasmine felt the first stirring of hope within her heart. No promises, but it couldn’t hurt to try.
