Patriots Versus Bureaucrats

  Larry Carson would have indeed been fortunate to have been hanged. For the next two weeks he learned to ride the “Lightning,” dance, and help Olga evaluate the effectiveness of a number of drugs that she was developing for the enhancement of sensitivity to pain. Carson was able to be on the leading edge of discovering that mosquito bites could feel like ice pick punctures if the right amount of increased sensitivity could be achieved with various chemical combinations. After two weeks Olga, Frank, and Jimmy became bored with Carson and debated his disposal. Since it was still planting season it was decided that the wood chipper rather than the lye pit would be utilized. As a final bit of entertainment Olga administered a spinal anesthesia between the first and second lumbar vertebrae of Carson so that he could view his lower body being added to the organic fertilizer that the Stromeltz farm employed so effectively in the growing of their produce. The residents of Bardstown were thankfully unaware that Olga, Frank, and Jimmy purchased all of their foodstuffs at Kroger’s for good reason.

  One hundred copies of the Citizens’ Constitutional Court trial of Lawrence Carson were produced on DVDs and mailed from over twenty locations within the city limits of Philadelphia. The locations were carefully chosen US mailboxes in suburban neighborhoods where there were no security cameras. The DVDs were mailed to news organizations and to law schools and were delivered during the week following the Fourth of July holiday. The Government did not discover the existence of the DVD until they saw it reported on the evening news. Immediately the Port of Philadelphia was locked down while Federal law enforcement agencies searched all vessels that might contain one Lawrence Edward Carson, US Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri. The FBI had reported in April that Carson had likely drowned in a boating accident on Kentucky Lake. Now there was a video of him being tried on the Fourth of July in Philadelphia. It was not the FBI’s greatest public relations moment. Nobody knew that by July, 2015, Carson had been part of an agricultural process for several months.

  Copies of Exhibit C, the memo from the Attorney General to all of the US Attorneys, was produced on CDs and mailed during the week of July 12 through July 18 from all over the country to hundreds of newspapers, local television stations, the American Civil Liberties Union, the NAACP, law schools, and conservative constitutional rights organizations. The reaction was total outrage from a broad spectrum of political viewpoints. The Federal judges who were evaluated as being antagonistic to civil forfeiture proceedings vented their anger against Federal prosecutors at every opportunity. Congressional investigations were instigated and the Attorney General and his staff spent countless hours testifying under oath.

  Homeland Security and all the intelligence agencies of the Federal Government were trying desperately to track down those responsible for the attacks in Washington and Los Angeles on April 4 and 5. They had gotten nowhere and the public was becoming impatient. Over the Labor Day weekend in September, Hawkins arranged for the Vulcan to leak to the media the April 5 messages from Yemen to Hamtramck and back to Yemen. The reaction was immediate and overwhelming. Of particular interest was the Government auction of the airplane that had been purchased and utilized as a bomb in the attack on the Streicher mansion in Bel Air. Hawkins had the Vulcan hack into the auction records of the IRS and delete from their data base any auction records that involved aircraft. When Congressional investigators discovered that the IRS had lost yet another set of records, subpoenas were issued and criminal proceedings threatened. The IRS claimed that the records had been destroyed in the attack on their headquarters in April. It was later determined that the auction records were maintained in another IRS building, further damaging any remaining credibility of the IRS.

  There were strong repercussions against Islam in the United States. Mosques across the country were vandalized, especially in Hamtramck, and support for the Palestine Liberation Organization evaporated among the Hollywood set after the messages of April 5 became public. Many Americans now openly supported Israel and demanded that US energy policy dictate that the United States terminate its reliance on Arab oil. The Muslim students attending Howard University received little sympathy as the FBI and Homeland Security interrogated and harassed them.

  Military intelligence attempted, without success, to identify the new Chinese weapon alluded to in the April 5 message from Yemen to Hamtramck. Even though there was no such thing as a Chinese built “smart mortar” the Pentagon continued to search for it.

  The FCC, FERC, and IRS had been hamstrung by the destruction of their headquarters. The result was a moratorium on the issuance of regulations and enforcement actions. Nobody knew for sure when normal operations would be resumed. The senior management at the EPA had been replaced but the loss of the technical talent delayed the resumption of normal operations. The ten EPA regional offices were still operating with only partial access to their own files.

  Much of the private funding for big government candidates and causes blew up at the Streicher mansion in April. The estates of the two billionaires would be tied up for years, thereby crippling any contributions to be made to their favored candidates and causes.

  The Mormon Church and Jake Wasserman, who was representing Rabbi Silver, had joined forces and were now suing the BLM in the State Courts of Utah. The wealth and influence of the Mormon Church plus the million dollar retainer that Peter Wallis had paid to Jake Wasserman to represent Rabbi Silver assured that the BLM was in for some very unpleasant experiences.

  Pete Wallis sat on the couch in front of a roaring fire and sipped his third Macallan of the evening. Beside him were his three amigos, Modecai, Sara, and Niko. It had been two years to the day that he had attended John Ross’s funeral. He lifted his glass in a toast to his late friend, “Well John, it has taken two years but we finally made the bastards pay.”

  Wallis had avenged his friend and one hundred and eighteen people had died and property worth hundreds of millions of dollars had been destroyed. Most people would have considered the job completed, but Peter Wallis was not most people. He began to plan for “Phase II, The Heads of the Hydra.”

  Thomas Raymond Temple is a resident of Houston, Texas, and has resided there since 1978. He was born and raised in Norwalk, Ohio, and graduated from high school in 1965.
