The Legend Of The Wizard's Apprentice (Book 1)

About an hour after the battle Fafnir started to come round, changing back into humanoid form and becoming Rinfaf once again to prevent the dragon fear. He was looking around at his lair and he was wondering how long it would take for him to locate all of his treasure and to get the smell of the undead out of his home. Thanking Kerwyn and the rest of the party for killing Amarok and saving his treasure, he offered them a king’s ransom as payment for saving his home from the evil Lynch Dragon, Amarok who surly would have killed him had it not been for Kerwyn. As each person came to terms with what they had seen and what they were all involved with, Master Sernett had them all take their seats around a fire that Fafnir graciously got going with a small puff of fire from his mouth.
“You all now know the truth. Kerwyn is the Legendary Wizard come back from the past. He is here for two reasons; one is to capture or kill the Dark Master, and the other is to replant the Tree of Life to save the world. You all know the risks and the dangers and you all have to make up your own minds whether you care to continue on with our journey or whether you will leave us and go your separate ways.
I hope that you all will continue to journey with us as we could use each and every one of you on this dangerous adventure. The time had come for all the creatures of this world to join against the evil that has risen up against our world and is coming. The fairy queen said this herself that all good creatures must come to battle because all the evil creatures will. If we do not have all races and species of good, we will all pay the ultimate price and every living thing will die on this world. I am not trying to scare anyone into continuing on with us but there will be no place to hide anyway, all life will die,” said Master Sernett.
“I am with you till the very end,” said Korowai.
“I am with you as well,” said Durin.
“We are with you, Sanctus Abbas, you are our Holy Fathers and where you go, we go,” said Byamee.
“I am also with you,” said Rinfaf, “I will be in Rinfaf form and I expect you to talk to me as such. I do not need to scare the locals by having them know that I am really Fafnir, the Mighty Golden Dragon: the oldest living creature in the River Glen Forest.”
“Then we are all agreed,” said Master Sernett, “Our journey shall continue and we head out at first light.” Lifting his Teacup in the air Master Sernett said in a loud, proud voice. “Here is to the party of the Legendary Wizard Kerwyn, and to the task of stopping the Dark Master, and bringing back the Tree of Life into this world.”
Here ends Book One, of the Legend of the Wizards Apprentice…
