The Whore and her Mother: 9/11, Babylon and the Return of the King

  A colleague of his, Mrs. Shahnaz Ali, from Mumbai, India, is currently undertaking DNA research on Pashtun blood samples from Malahabad, at Haifa Technion, Israel.

  In that same passage, Isaiah goes on to prophesy two major events which will affect the natural world:

  Isaiah 11:15 The LORD will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals. 16 There will be a highway for the remnant of his people that is left from Assyria, as there was for Israel when they came up from Egypt.

  Isaiah 19:5 The waters of the river [Nile] will dry up, and the riverbed will be parched and dry. 6 The canals will stink; the streams of Egypt will dwindle and dry up. The reeds and rushes will wither, 7 also the plants along the Nile, at the mouth of the river.

  23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. 24 In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. 25 The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.”

  Isaiah 27:12 In that day the LORD will thresh from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you, Israel, will be gathered up one by one. 13 And in that day a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

  Isaiah 42:15 I will lay waste the mountains and hills and dry up all their vegetation; I will turn rivers into islands and dry up the pools. 16 I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.

  Zechariah 10:6 “I will strengthen Judah and save the tribes of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them. They will be as though I had not rejected them, for I am the LORD their God and I will answer them. 7 The Ephraimites will become like warriors, and their hearts will be glad as with wine. Their children will see it and be joyful; their hearts will rejoice in the LORD. 8 I will signal for them and gather them in. Surely I will redeem them; they will be as numerous as before. 9 Though I scatter them among the peoples, yet in distant lands they will remember me. They and their children will survive, and they will return. 10 I will bring them back from Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them to Gilead and Lebanon, and there will not be room enough for them. 11 They will pass through the sea of trouble; the surging sea will be subdued and all the depths of the Nile will dry up. Assyria’s pride will be brought down and Egypt’s scepter will pass away. 12 I will strengthen them in the LORD and in his name they will live securely,” declares the LORD.

  ‘The River’, in Hebrew prophecy, normally refers to the Euphrates River – a major obstacle in the path of anyone planning to drive, (or even walk!), from Afghanistan, Pakistan or Kashmir to Israel. In a similar way, the Red Sea and the Nile River would be a barrier to those wanting to travel from Africa.

  Currently, many hundreds of Sudanese refugees, with no Israelite claims whatsoever, are making their way across Egypt, to cross the Sinai border into Israel – where they are being given asylum.

  What if the Igbo, the Lemba, and other African tribes with actual Israelite origins, were to begin a similar march to the Promised Land? What if the Pashtuns and Kashmiris began to walk to Israel, across a dried-up Euphrates? A similar phenomenon is happening on the USA/Mexico border every day and night, therefore it’s not an impossibility.

  Isaiah promises a highway from Assyria to Israel and from Egypt to Israel. And Zechariah 10:10 states that, “There will not be room enough for them”. He also says they will settle in Gilead (Syria) and Lebanon – not currently part of the state of Israel, but formerly part of the ‘Promised Land’.

  At the present time only a few plane-loads of Israelite 'goats leading the flock' (Jeremiah 50:8) are arriving in Israel. A few thousand aspiring immigrants are making aliyah. But it IS a beginning. We are already seeing this miracle begin to unfold. More and more we should expect to see this coming to pass in the very near future.

  Jeremiah 16:14 “However, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ 15 but it will be said, ‘As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ For I will restore them to the land I gave to their forefathers.

  Jeremiah 23:7 So then, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when people will no longer say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,' 8 but they will say, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the descendants of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' Then they will live in their own land.

  If these words of the prophets are coming to pass, we should pay close attention to what they say about Mega-Babylon and other events of the ‘end times’.

  2ndExodus – back from the four corners:

  1 In the Hebrew prophecies Judah and Israel are inseparable. What applies to one applies to the other.

  2 The northern kingdom of Israel (the ‘ten tribes’ ) were completely removed from the land and scattered to “the four corners of the earth”. The return of these ‘lost tribes’ to Israel – separated from the land for 2,700 years – would be a miracle of truly biblical proportions!

  3 At least 1,400 of the ‘lost tribe’ of Menashe are now living in Israel! 25,000 more have applied to make aliyah and are only being held up by Israeli bureaucracy and reluctance.

  4 Other tribes in Asia and Africa have been identified as Israelite – some, such as the Lemba, with the backup of DNA analysis. Many are no longer followers of the Jewish religion, but may be Christian or Moslem. Some are already keen to come to Israel, others (at present) show little interest.

  5 Like the former Red Sea crossing, God will dry up the river Euphrates, the Nile and the Red Sea, so that his people can again cross over and return to the land of Israel.

  6 Perhaps 90 million Israelites in total exist throughout the world today. If they all return to the land, it will make the biblical Exodus seem insignificant and change the face of the Middle East. We are already seeing this miracle beginning to happen. As we watch, we will see it being fulfilled more and more.

  6 Why judge Mega-Babylon?

  Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her (regarding Hurricane Katrina), “How could God let something like this happen?”. Anne Graham Lotz gave an extremely profound and insightful response.

  She said, “I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?”

  “In light of recent events ... terrorist attacks, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said, ‘OK’. Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. (The Bible says, ‘Thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’) And we said, ‘OK.’”

  Why is Mega-Babylon to be destroyed? What is her major offence that the judgement of total destruction should come upon her? There is more than just one simple answer to this.

  The basic answer lies in the description of Mega-Babylon – as a prostitute! Her first crime was to have a (once deserved) reputation as a godly nation, but then to move away from that more and more over
recent years. The bible calls this ‘playing the harlot.’ This would apply to the United Kingdom and other western nations, also, which have drifted far from their Judaeo-Christian roots. Can any nation be truly described as ‘Christian’ these days? I doubt it!

  The details are in where this drift has led. The harlot is described over and over – like the ancient Babylonian Goddess, Ishtar – as holding a cup of filth, with which she has made the nations drunk. What does this ‘filth’ represent?

  Revelation 17:4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery:

  BABYLON THE GREAT

  THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF

  THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

  Fornication? Of course, our first thoughts are of pornography, permissiveness and Hollywood movies, which may surely be a part of the story. After all, the USA is the world's top exporter of pornography.

  But there is something more basic involved here. The God of the bible does not look upon the outward appearance, He looks upon the heart, (1 Samuel 16:7). The heart of the whole globalisation movement – of which the US government, bankers, the IMF and Federal Reserve are the hub – is focussed on what used to be known as, ‘filthy lucre’.

  Greed for monetary gain is the basic motivation behind the corporate disregard for anything just, righteous, or holy. For the sake of ‘the bottom line’, individuals and corporations will sacrifice any moral imperatives, any thought of ‘justice for the poor’, any regard for the Almighty.

  Corporations, of course, have no morals. They are a self-perpetuating machine. If caught in gross breach of the law, they will make some member of their management a scapegoat – but the corporation marches on, unrepentant. The Exxon Valdez tanker disaster in the Prince Rupert Sound, Alaska, is just one case in point.

  (Incidentally, the real culprits there were British Petroleum (BP), who owned 50% of the shares, as opposed to Exxon, who only had 10%!) The vast bulk of the promised compensation has never been paid out – and most likely never WILL be!

  The hunting and fishing way of life of the Chugach people has been destroyed forever – but who cares? Certainly not the corporations involved! Will those same corporations make things right in the Gulf of Mexico? I won’t hold my breath!

  The major banks and corporations in the USA (and beyond) control the wealth of the country – and also of most of the global economy. They have the power to raise up and put down presidents, to manipulate stock and share values, the banking system, the economies of the United States and most of the rest of the world.

  The wilful destruction of Argentina’s economy by the IMF in 2001 is just one example of the ruthless behaviour of our global rulers. Now the same forces are destroying Greece, Ireland, Portugal ...

  Where have all the billions of dollars gone out of our economies? Did they just evaporate? Or are we being cynically manipulated by ‘big business’, in order that they should gain even more control over our lives?

  This cynical, uncaring, ‘bottom line’ policy rides roughshod over all of us. Who gains? Only a select elite. Who loses? You, me, and most of the decent ordinary citizens of the USA and other nations. But most of all the losers are those who are weakest – the marginal, third world, ‘developing’ countries – in other words, the poor!

  Alex Perry, in his book, ‘Falling off the Edge’, examines many different groups around the world who are being destroyed by the uncaring and heartless global system.

  The powerhouse of world globalisation is centred in Wall Street (New York City), in the US Federal Reserve – which, like ‘Federal Express’, is NOT federal (it is a private entity, not answerable to the US Senate, the president, or anyone else!); in the IMF and the World Bank. All of these entities are linked and working together towards their own agenda.

  While many rant about the dangers of world communism and Islamic fundamentalism (and maybe with good reason), a small, self-effacing, elite group are taking more and more control of our lives.

  They are quite prepared to instigate wars, famines, global crises, economic meltdown, drug addiction and maybe even epidemics? Why not? They can make a fortune from our misfortunes, so why should they worry about the morality of it? These guys HAVE no morality!

  Let’s look at some specific prophecies which describe why the God of Israel is angry with Mega-Babylon, and why He will ultimately bring great judgement and disaster upon her:

  Revelation 17:1 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, Come; I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters: 2 With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries. 3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.

  First of all, the prostitute is mounted on a scarlet beast. The beast is covered with blasphemous names. The ‘nature of the beast’ is in total opposition to the God of the bible.

  Revelation 18:3 For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.

  Revelation 17:23 Your merchants were the world’s important people. By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.

  Isaiah 47:9 Both of these will overtake you in a moment, on a single day: loss of children and widowhood. They will come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and all your potent spells.

  This opposition to the God of the bible has opened up Mega-Babylon to all kinds of evil, including ‘sorcery’. The Greek word used here for ‘magic spell’, or ‘sorcery’, is pharmakia, from which we get our English word, pharmacy – i.e. the use of drugs! In the bible the use of drugs was completely tied up with the practice of sorcery and was totally forbidden as it was an act of rebellion against the LORD.

  Mega-Babylon has polluted the world through the lure of ‘excessive luxuries’, funded through the propagation of the drug trade worldwide.

  Michael C. Ruppert was a former LAPD investigator into the drugs trade. "In the course of investigations in the mid 70's he came across information that the CIA was trading drugs in order to fund covert operations in the Middle East”, (People Magazine, 6/22/1992).

  In his 2004 book, Crossing the Rubicon, he writes that, “One of the biggest secrets of 9/11 is the connection between drug money and Wall Street.

  “In this context it is not surprising that the US completed its invasion of Afghanistan in November 2001 in the middle of the opium planting season. Among the first things the US forces and CIA did was to liberate a number of known opium warlords who, they said, would assist US forces. Opium farmers rejoiced and, amidst reports that they were being encouraged to do so, began planting massive opium crops. In December, former CIA asset and opium warlord, Ayub Afridi, was released from prison and recruited by the CIA to unify local leaders against the Taliban.

  “When the harvest of June 2002 came, Afghanistan had again become the world’s largest producer of the opium poppy and the world’s largest heroin supplier. From a paltry 180 tons under the Taliban in 2001, according to the UN, the estimated 2002 harvest, under CIA protection, was close to 3,700 tons. By March of 2003, World Bank President, James Wolfensohn, was reporting record levels of opium production and that drugs were a bigger earner for Afghanistan than foreign aid.

  The 2003 crop set new records, coming in at almost 4,000 tons. And experts warned that the June, 2004 harvest might be 50 percent larger than that of 2003. In November of 2003, Reuters reported that current Afghan opium cultivation was 36 times higher than under the last year of Taliban rule.”

  This exploitation of the drug trade for economic benefit has, of course, bee
n ongoing for a very long time, originally pioneered by the British Empire, the ‘mother’ of the present-day American Empire.

  Ruppert states, “The use of the drug trade to secure economic advantage for an imperialist nation is at least as old as the British East India Company’s first smuggling of opium from India into China in the late 1600s.” This practice led eventually to the Opium Wars between Britain and China in the mid nineteenth century.

  Incidentally, it is probable that the many billions of dollars revenue from this sudden increase in Afghan heroin production were used to fund the massive sub-prime mortgage boom in 2002-6 which, we are told, led to the present worldwide economic collapse, which began in 2008!

  ‘Sorceries’ can also simply refer to the use of so-called ‘Black Ops’ by the US military.

  The motivation is greed for power and monetary gain, the means is exploitation, economy, weapons, drugs and pornography. But what is the outworking of this self-centred strategy? All of this gain for the small elite results in suffering for the great majority. The ultimate result, unfortunately, is bloodshed and death!
