Lily spun around, smiled at Amy. “Sorry, Amy, I am not much of a shopper.”

Amy hesitated but then nodded. “At the next store.”

“Perhaps,” she said as they once again headed out to another store.

Lily browsed around enjoying just looking at the items. She found a pair of silver earrings she could afford.

“Did you pay cash?” Melissa gasped, stopping next to her.

  Lily spun around startled. “Yes.”

“Why?” Melissa’s hands rested on her hips as she waited for Lily to answer her.

“I wanted to.” Lily turned, picking up her little bag, hoping to end the inquiry.

“Is something going on?” Melissa walked next to Lily as she turned away from the counter.

  “No.” Lily stopped.

  “Then, why?” Melissa asked.

Lily sighed. “Please, it is no big deal.”

Melissa frowned, “Okay, if that is what you want, but Clay won’t be happy you spent your own money.”

She chewed her cheek. “He doesn’t need to know.”

Melissa stared at her. “Doesn’t he?”

“No, of course not,” she said.

Melissa motioned toward Lily’s little bag. “Clay is going to ask what you bought.”

“You ready?” Sara called, Amy standing next to her. “We have to go meet the boys for dinner.”

Melissa dropped the conversation, but Lily wondered if she would tell Clay she hadn’t bought anything.

They sat chitchatting then Melissa turned to her. “We are having dinner with the lawyer tonight. It should be fun.”

“Lawyer and fun in the same sentence,” Lily giggled, smiling over at Melissa. “That is an oxymoron.”

  Chapter 7

Lily immediately spotted Clay speaking to some man she didn’t recognize when she entered the restaurant. She assumed he was their lawyer. Clay smiled. Lily smiled back hesitantly, walking over to stand by him.

“Did you have a good time?” His hand settled on her waist.

  She glanced up. “Yes.”

Clay smiled, nodding toward the man he was with, “Mark, this is Lily, Lily this is Mark, our attorney.”

“Nice to meet you.” She held out her hand shaking his.

  “A pleasure, Lily.” Mark smiled.

“Come let’s go eat.” Clay guided her to the table, talking with Mark. They had a long dinner with lots of chitchat, goofing off and lots of laughter.

Melissa came over and gave Lily a quick kiss on the cheek, before whispering something to Clay. She kissed his cheek and left with Scott.

Clay glanced over at her, a frown on his face.

Lily knew Melissa had ratted her out. She shrugged her shoulders at his expression as Amy came to say goodbye.

“You ready?” Clay asked his voice low.

He watched Lily as they sat in the limo, slightly angry. Melissa told him she hadn’t bought anything, except a pair of earrings, which she paid for herself. He didn’t care if she spent his money. He had wanted her to have a good time.

When they got to the hotel, he was going to talk with her. The girls were supposed to go shopping again tomorrow and he wanted her to buy stuff.

Lily knew Clay wanted to talk to her, but she didn’t want to talk to him. She walked to her room, closing the door behind her.

She sat on the bed, wanting nothing more than to go home. Her door opened, she turned her head watching Clay come into her dark room.

He stood in the doorway, leaning against the frame, watching her through the darkness. “Lily, we need to talk.”

“About what?” She looked out the window where she could see the moon high in the sky.

“About today, about last night,” he said.

“I would rather not,” she whispered.

He stood up straight in the doorway. “Why?”

She shrugged. “I am tired. Can we talk tomorrow?”

He took a few steps into the room, stopping at the end of the bed. “No, we will talk now. Why didn’t you buy anything today?”

“I did.” She pointed to the bag on the dresser.

He glanced over to where she pointed, not able to make the bag out through the darkness but knowing what she was pointing out. “A pair of earrings and you used your own money.”

  “So,” she said.

“I gave you the card for a reason,” Clay snapped, walking around the bed.

She glanced at him, then down at the floor. “I am not comfortable spending your money.”

He stood in front of her. “Why not?”

She looked up at him, “I am not your girlfriend. I have no right to spend your money.”

He flinched. “Lily, this trip was on me including all expenses, anything you want.”

She gazed back out the window. “I don’t want anything. I don’t need anything.”

He gritted his teeth. “Don’t you?”

She snapped her head around. “No, is there anything else?”

He sat on the bed next to her, trying to see her face. “Yes, last night.”

“I would rather not.” She turned her head away. “We need to forget last night happened.”

“Can you?” he whispered, stroking the side of her face, “Lily, can you forget what happened because I can’t.”

She shifted on the bed, moving away from him. “It would be for the best.”

He gripped her chin, turning her face toward him. “I can’t. I need to understand.”

She jerked her face out of his hand. Standing, she walked away from him. She stood in front of the window, looking out into the darkness.

He walked up behind her, placing his hands on her shoulders.

She trembled at his touch, closing her eyes as sensations skyrocketed through her body. She couldn’t pour her heart out to him; tell him the truth, but she wanted too.

He moved his hands down her arms then back up to her shoulders, leaning forward his mouth brushed against her neck, whispering, “Talk to me, Lily, did I hurt you?”

“No,” she glanced, surprised over her shoulder. “You didn’t hurt me.”

  “Then, what happened?” he asked.

She looked back out into the darkness. “Last night was a mistake. I should not have let that happen. I am sorry.”

“Sorry.” His breath rolled over her neck as his fingers tightened on her shoulders. “Sorry for what?”

“For everything.” She tried to move away.

His fingers tightened on her shoulder, pulling her against his chest. “Don’t be sorry, what happened last night was incredible, do you regret it?”

She didn’t, not the first time. She regretted he changed his mind about the second time. “No.”

“What happened later?” He turned her around, guiding her chin up so he could try to see her eyes. He brushed her lips with his finger. “You pulled away, ran away, and cried, why?”

Her brow furrowed. He stopped. What was she supposed to do? “I didn’t run away.”

“Didn’t you?” He watched her expressions in the moonlight. She really didn’t think she had run away. “One moment you’re lying naked in my arms with my fingers buried inside of you, the next you are walking out.”

She titled her head, cheeks stinging. “You stopped.”

He stared dumbfounded, “I didn’t stop.”

She stiffened, “Yes you did. You stopped, pulled away. I assumed you wanted me to leave.”

His fingers tightened on her chin, “I wasn’t stopping, I was moving.”

“I don’t understand.” She glanced up at him.

He tilted her face toward him. “I wasn’t stopping, I was only changing positions.”

She stared blankly. Clay stroked her cheek. “I had no intention of stopping. You said you couldn’t keep your leg still, I only shifted positions, but then I saw your tears.”

She lowered her eyes. “I‘m sorry, I didn’t know.”

“Why did you cry?” He pulled her into his arms.

She breathed deeply against his chest, his cologne enticing her to snuggle closer, but she knew she shouldn’t. “Please, leave it alone.”

He kissed her forehead whispering. “I don’t want to leave it alone. I want to understand.”

She pulled away. “It is nothing.”

His fingers tightened. “Nothing? Tell me.”

She stopped, the pressure of his fingers preventing her from pulling farther away. “I can’t.”

Could she be with Clay once more? Would he be willing? She wanted to. She had three and a half days left and she wanted to achieve the unbelievable pleasure he had shown her last night again. She needed to know if it was real or imagined.

He wrapped his fingers in her hair. “Talk to me.”

She placed her finger on his lips, silencing him. “Make love to me Clay, just one more time, so I know it was real.”

  Chapter 8

Clay stared into her eyes. Her need reflected clearly in her dusky depths. “Lily.”

She flinched taking a step back as his hands fell from her hair, “Forget it. Just forget it. Please leave.”

He took a step closer. “No, I won’t forget it.”

She glared and tried to walk pass him.

He grabbed her arm, turning her around and into his body.

She trembled, staring into his eyes she whispered, “Please.” What she was whispering please to she wasn’t sure.

“Lily.” Clay arched her neck, his mouth closing on hers.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, holding on tightly.

His tongue plunged into her mouth as he bent, scooping her into his arms. She wasn’t getting out of talking to him, but for now, he needed to slake the need in her eyes. The desperation. The pain.

He laid her on the bed, following her down, and pushing her into the mattress.

She ran her hands down his back to his waist, slipping her hands under his shirt. She slid her hands over his back, loving the feel of his skin.

He dragged his mouth from hers gasping as he pulled his shirt off.

She sighed, running her fingers over his chest and across his nipples. They hardened at her touch.

He slipped off her top then bra. His fingers brushing her cheek as he lowered his head and their mouths met.

He came up on his knees hovering over her finishing stripping her clothes off then his own.

The room was dark. No lights were on. She hoped she didn’t repulse him this time. She could feel his cock hard and throbbing and knew a moment’s relief.

His mouth touched hers, his hands on her breasts, massaging. He rolled her nipples between his fingers until she gasped into his mouth.

He ran his mouth down her neck to her breast, teasing her nipples with his tongue before sucking them into his mouth.

She moaned, arching into his mouth.

He remembered what happened the previous night and moved to her side keeping her flat as his mouth played with her nipples.

He grabbed her leg, slipping it between his. His mouth moving up her neck as his fingers glided over stomach until they touched her pussy.

She quaked, arching as his fingers spread her pussy lips and began to rub her clit. Her fingers clenched his shoulders, her hips arching in tune with his strokes.

He gently bit her nipple, “let it happen, come for me, love.”

She whimpered, pumping against his hand.

His mouth crushed hers, his fingers thrusting. Her nails bit into his shoulders as she shattered, a cry ripping from her mouth.

He rolled his body on top of hers. “I love hearing you.” He positioned his cock seating himself deeply.

She felt so full, so stretched, quickly becoming aroused again. “Kiss me,” she pleaded as her arms wrapped tightly around his neck, her knees bent gripping his hips. His mouth crashed down, his hips thrusting slowly. He wanted to keep the pace slow, but her pussy clenching him shattered his intentions.

He bent his legs forcing hers farther apart, beginning to move faster. His fingers tangling in her hair he gently bit her neck. “Damn, I’m sorry. What you do to me.”

Her eyes snapped open, bulging. Was he going to stop again? She clutched him tighter.

He surged forward, his balls slapping against her ass. He arched her neck his, mouth against her ear, his breathing heavy.

She met him stroke for stroke.

He gasped, his thrusts stronger, faster. “Hold on to me.” Her thighs gripped his hips as her fingers dug into his shoulders. With his next thrust, she cried out, her nails raking his shoulders, her body convulsing beneath his.

His groan was loud against her ear, his body quivering as he collapsed on her. After a few moments he brushed her lips with his, rolling off and to his back.

She lay still not sure what to do next, her breathing slowly returning to normal.

He reached for her, rolling her against him. Her head resting on his shoulder, her body against his side his arms wrapped around her back.

He laughed softly, “Well, I did it again, lost control.”

She glanced up, seeing his tawny eyes shining.

His fingers brushed over her shoulder, “When I touch you, Lily, I want so much to be with you, I can’t control myself.”

She closed her eyes liking his words. She wasn’t sure of the truth of them, but for the moment, she floated in the clouds content with his heartbeat beneath her ear.

He laid his hand over hers, stroking her fingers. He would let her rest for a few moments then he planned to love the woman right…

  ****

Lily slowly edged toward the side of the bed.

“Where are you going?” Clay whispered sitting up, catching her hand.

“To the bathroom,” she pulled her hand away, standing.

“Come right back,” he lay back on the bed it was too dark to see but he heard her close the door.

She grabbed a towel, covering herself. She glanced in the mirror, wondering what she was doing, besides making a fool of herself. She ran her fingers over her face, sighing.

She left the bathroom, unsure if she should go back to the bed and Clay. She stood outside the door in the darkness.

“What’s wrong?” Clay sat up on the side of the bed.

  She jumped. “Thinking.”

“Come here,” he stretched his hand out toward her.

She walked toward him, just making out his hand.

He felt the towel, scowled. “A towel.” He pulled the towel off her body.

She gasped, clutching for the towel.

  He stopped her movements, “No.”

She bit her cheek, standing in front of him naked.

His hands roamed her hips, her sides, moving up to her breasts. “You are so beautiful.”

Her head whipped up. She didn’t believe him, but wanted to, very much. He hadn’t seen yet. It was too dark.

He pulled her between his legs, pressing her body against his. She traced her hands up his arms, over his biceps until they circled his neck. His mouth settled over hers, his tongue plunging deep.

She pressed tighter against him, her breast crushed against his chest. She shifted, moving her breasts against his chest. She would take whatever she could get. Enjoy him while it lasted.

He caressed her back, lying on the bed he pulled her down on top of him. “Straddle me.”

She hesitated. Clay tugged at her legs until she knelt, straddling him, his cock throbbing against her pussy.

She shivered, feeling heat flood her body.

He glided his fingers along her hips. “Lean forward. Spread your legs more.” She did and his cock slid between her pussy lips, resting against her clit as her breasts brushed his chest, nipples grazing.

  “Kiss me,” he whispered.

She brushed her lips against his. She had never been in the lead before and when his mouth opened, her tongue surged inside. Her hands moved over his arms, his chest, touching him everywhere she could reach. Her mouth followed kissing, licking and sucking
his nipples.

He groaned. The sound went right to her core, quivering she undulated against him.

His hips arched with her movements, his hands moving along her back, her hips. “Ride me.”

Her eyes rounded, her body thrumming. She sucked on his bottom lip, sitting up she circled his cock with her hand. She couldn’t close her hand around his width.

Captivated by the throbbing in her hand, she traced her fingers up the side of his cock, grazing the tip. He felt so alive in hand, she moved off him.

“Lily,” he murmured, struck by the fascination in her touch as she played.

Her fingers moved up and down his silky length, her other hand cupped his balls, stroking them.

He gritted his teeth, letting her play.

She leaned forward flicking her tongue over his tip tasting the drop of pre-come. She skimmed her tongue down his length rolling his balls in her hand before running her tongue through his pubic hair.

She slowly took his cock in her mouth. Clay gasped, swearing it was her first time. Her mouth moved up and down his cock, her saliva wetting him.

He gripped her hair, groaning he thrust his cock in her mouth, sliding deeper. After a few moments, he gently pulled her head away. “Lily, stop.”

She glanced up as his cock fell out of her mouth.

“Take me.” Clay guided her up his body until once again she straddled him, his cock against her pussy. He skimmed his fingers through her pussy making sure she was ready. He positioned his cock and pulled her down on him.

She moaned as he clutched her hips rolling her over thrusting deep. His control unraveling he pumped into her, head thrown back. Her fingers gripped his shoulders, nails digging deep. He growled as her pussy contracted on his cock, pulsing.

She cried out, burying her face against his neck.

He slammed into her exploding a second behind her, his wetness shooting deep.

  Chapter 9

Lily’s eyes snapped open to hot breath against her shoulder. Quickly realizing who was behind her. Her body eased, letting his warmth infiltrate her pours, calming her. His hand lay heavy on her waist, his fingers relaxed. She slid her hand down to cover his, caressing his fingers.

She refused to think, to analyze. She wanted to enjoy the time she had with him. The feeling of being wanted and needed, even if it was only temporary. She watched the stars out the window begin to dim knowing daybreak would soon come.
