“I will.”
“Enjoy the rest of your evening, Noah.”
She gave his arm a final pat, then turned and headed across the gallery toward her parents, who were still in the company of their daughter, Danielle the artist. Her bodyguard followed hot at Beth’s heels.
Noah sighed and looked at her business card, wondering about the wisdom in inviting the young girl into his home. He’d developed an instantaneous crush on the child. Foolish, he knew, but what vampire—age aside—wouldn’t be attracted to such a beauty? Well, he had no right to be. He’d been celibate too long. That was his problem.
Noah tucked her business card into the front pocket of his jacket and headed for the front entrance of the gallery. He’d be buying nothing tonight except maybe a drink at a local pub for himself and maybe some human female intent upon a one-night stand.
About the Author
I’ve had a passion for romance reads since early high school. You could always find a Harlequin romance in my book bag. In 1994, I decided to try my hand at writing, just for fun. I really sucked at it in the beginning, but I joined a local writers group and slowly began to improve. In 2014, I decided to get serious about writing. I wanted to publish something. So, I wrote Forever and a Night, the first in a vampire romance series. Book two in the Forever and a Night series is Dark Experiments, which was released on May 21, 2017. Book three, Deadly Secrets, was released on September 30, 2017. Book four is coming in 2018, and I have more to follow for fans of my sexy vampires. Every spare moment I have is devoted to writing or reading. Writing is in my blood, and I wake up every day excited for the next chapters. I live in Avoca, AR with my oldest daughter, Jessica, my husband Robert, and a cat named Felix.
