Touch Me: A Bad Boy MC Romance
Page 21
“God, you’re so perfect,” I heard myself say. She giggled.
“Thank you, baby. This is crazy, but I think I might be falling in love with you.”
For a second, I couldn't quite comprehend her words, as I was too busy kissing every inch of her body. It slowly dawned on me what she had said.
“Falling in love?” I asked, lifting my head above her breasts just enough to see her eyes.
She nodded.
“I think you’re on the right track, then.”
“You do?”
“I’m a nice guy to fall in love with.”
She gasped, feigning shock for my lack of modesty. I shut her up with a noisy kiss and got back to where I left off.
Her belly button; I kissed around it. She was tingly and was constantly trying to push my head away. I wouldn’t have it.
The entire evening I spent it teasing Eva until she begged for me to fuck her. Several times.
“You’re a demanding little girl,” I joked, during one of the short breaks we took for hydration and food.
She giggled, unable to speak due to her mouth being occupied with a huge sandwich.
I watched her eat, my appetite gone. I was too happy for food; she looked amazing and it was enough for me. Disheveled hair, with stray auburn strands sticking out like a sex aura, her face puffy and soft, plump lips devouring her food, everything took my breath away.
“What?” she asked, wiping her mouth delicately.
“What?”
“You sighed, big boy. What is it?”
I couldn’t help but smile. She had that effect on me. “I think I’m falling in love too.”
“Aww, you’re actually blushing. So sweet.”
To make the scene even more embarrassing, she came around the table and hugged me, then kissed the top of my head.
“You pesky little thing, go sit down and eat your food,” I said and swung her by her hand.
As she sat down and resumed her meal, I followed my own advice and dove into the vegetarian burger I had ordered. The food seemed to taste better when I watched her.
Almost unnoticeably, her expression changed, a hint of sadness tinting her features.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, my appetite gone once again.
“Nothing,” she mumbled, faking a smile.
I reached for her hand over the table. “Tell me. Please.”
“You know about the pictures,” she said, looking away.
“Yeah.”
“And you don’t hate me.”
“Why would I? What’s up with those pictures? It’s not like you were giving them away to his frat boys, that asshole betrayed you.”
She smiled bitterly. “True. But I sent them to Alex. What does that say about me?”
“I don’t understand.”
I really didn’t. She looked into my eyes, confused. “I sent naked pictures of me. Isn’t that something …”
“Slutty?” I could barely say before bursting into laughter. Her eyes widened in surprise and what could only be qualified as embarrassment, although it made no sense. “God, you’re so innocent.”
“What?”
“Naked pics… Gee, I’d expect to get some from my girlfriend. And any boyfriend would. It’s… I don't know, so common, nobody cares anymore. Well, anyone but you, apparently.”
“I know people send pics like that, but not everyone, right?”
I started laughing again, her clueless expression giving me a strange feeling of happiness.
“Everyone does it, baby. And it’s as far from slutty as a water gun is from a Beretta.”
She watched me laugh with a disbelieving expression for a full minute, before I decided dinner was over.
“Want a drink?” I suggested, standing up.
“Nothing with alcohol. I have an early morning class tomorrow.”
“Sparkling water it is, then,” I said, checking my wristwatch. “It’s past midnight, baby. If you have an early class, why don’t you go to bed?”
“And leave you drinking all alone?”
She wrapped her hands around my waist as I poured us two glasses of club soda. I offered her a glass and leaned against the mini bar, enjoying mine. I realized I was really thirsty and gulped down the water in a few seconds.
“Wow,” she said, sipping a tiny amount for her glass.
“Wow,” I commented back and we both chuckled. “Bed time, baby?”
She nodded and walked into the bedroom without a word. I could see she was getting tired and felt guilty for keeping her up for so long. I should’ve asked about her schedule.
“You coming?” she asked, patting the pillow next to hers.
I got into bed and she nestled at my side. I waited until she stopped shifting around before I turned to wrap my arm around her.
“Good night, baby,” I whispered into her ear. She didn’t reply, she was already asleep. It had taken her all of two minutes to do that.
Impressed with her performance, I grabbed her tighter and let my mind drift off onto the land of dreams as well.
In the morning, Eva was gone. I sat up, looking around the room. At first, I thought she had slipped out without waking me up, but then I heard her in the bathroom.
“Babe?” I called out.
“Morning, sunshine,” she replied, coming out of the bathroom. “I didn’t mean to wake you up.”
“You didn’t.”
“I have to go. See you tonight?”
“Sure. Turns out, I enjoy waking up next to you.”
“Weird, since I wasn’t next to you when you woke up.”
She grabbed her bag and turned to wink at me.
“You’re cheeky. I like that.”
“Bye, baby.”
I watched her pretty ass leaving my room, a smile permanently stapled on my lips.
“Maybe I’ll stick around, see how it really feels to wake up next to you,” I shouted before she closed the door behind her.
I had surprised myself. Spending my sabbatical in her city actually looked like a good idea.
“I do have to downgrade on my sleeping arrangements,” I said to myself. I couldn’t possibly afford this hotel for another four months.
Excited with the idea of spending more time with Eva, I got out of bed, took an invigorating shower and left my room. I was thinking of having breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant and notify the reception desk of my checking out.
“I hope you had a nice stay, Sir. When will you be leaving?” the clerk asked.
“As soon as I find cheaper accommodation,” I said, more as a joke.
“Oh. Are you unhappy with our prices?”
“There’s nothing wrong with your prices, but I can't possibly afford them for four months.” I was starting to regret my joke.
“Do you intend on staying in the city for four months?”
“Yes. I’m on sabbatical from my hospital and I’ll be spending it here. Look, I’m sorry for what I said, it was only a joke. The fact still remains, though. I can’t afford your establishment on my resident salary.”
The woman typed something into her computer, leaving me waiting for a reply. “How would you feel about a 50% discount on the price of your room?”
“What?”
“I don’t think you’ll find cheaper motels anyway. Those that are, aren’t quite suited for decent folks to live in.”
“50% discount?”
“There’s a catch, though.”
“Of course there is.”
“Are you licensed to practice in this state?”
“Not yet. Why?”
She pursed her lips and I feared the nice offer wasn’t on the table anymore. It was weird how disappointed I felt knowing that I might actually have to leave this place.
“OK. What year are you?”
“Third.”
“So, almost done.”
“Yes.”
“How would you feel about being this hotel’s private medical assistant?”

In exchange for the discount?”
“We can make it a 55% discount and you’ll mostly act as first aid or medical concierge, depending on the situation.”
“Will this take up all my time?”
“Only part-time.”
“Deal.”
She offered me a big smile and shook my hand vigorously. “We’re so glad to have you here, Sir.”
“I’m glad to be here. Thank you for this offer.”
“We’re happy to make it possible. I’ll send the contract to your room shortly.”
“I’m having breakfast for now. I won’t be in my room.”
“I see your reservation. Your breakfast is on the house, Sir. Enjoy your meal.”
“Wow, thanks.”
I didn’t know what to do with myself for a second. She looked like she was done with me so the sensible thing was to leave, but it felt awkward. Finally, I turned and headed for the restaurant. As I sat at a table near the window, I texted Eva the good news.
***
I stretched until my limbs quivered, as I usually did. It seemed to impress Eva, since she confessed she was unable to stretch like me.
“Long week?” she asked, rolling on her front next to me.
“Sort of. This concierge thing is not as glamorous as it sounds.”
“What do you mean?”
I sighed, already feeling tired of the job. “Yesterday I had to explain to a woman that I don’t do massages, I only recommend solutions for various problems. She didn’t seem to take it very well. I think she complained to the management.”
“Did they say anything to you?”
I shook my head and yawned. “Good thing I found a way to actually use my talents.”
“Oh?”
I waited for Eva to curl up in my arms before settling better myself.
“I’m volunteering at a homeless shelter.”
“Aren’t you the perfect catch?” she said, giggling. “Handsome, impressive lover, heart as big as it can be. Girls must be chasing after you all the time.”
“There are no girls, baby. You’re the only one,” I assured her, kissing her neck, then closed my eyes, ready for a full night’s sleep.
“You seem tired,” Eva said and I had the feeling she wanted to ask me something.
“Umhm.”
“So, a party wouldn’t be something you’d be interested in.”
“Party?”
She turned to face me. “A friend of mine invited me to a sorority party, and she said I can bring a plus one. It think it’s more to do with the fact that everyone wants to meet my mysterious boyfriend.”
“Mysterious?”
“Yeah. You’re not from the campus and everyone thinks I left Alex the Great for you, so they’re curious.”
I smiled, a little flattered. “When’s this party?”
“The day after tomorrow.”
I frowned, going through my schedule in my mind.
“It’s OK if you can’t come.”
“Tomorrow I have a lot of work to do, but I think I can manage to take the day off after. Do you want to go to this party?”
“Kind of.”
I blinked, trying to open my eyes enough to see Eva’s face. She seemed on the brink of disappointment at the possibility that I wouldn’t be able to accompany her. I couldn’t bear the thought of disappointing her.
“I’ll come. I’ll make time.”
“Are you sure?”
I nodded, the struggle to stay awake becoming harder to win.
Eva kissed my lips softly before promising me a nice wake-up present. It was the last thing I heard as I fell asleep, and it made me smile.
In the morning, I hurried out of bed and went straight into the bathroom. A few minutes later I had taken a shower and was ready for my appointment with one of this establishment’s distinguished guests.
Laying my eyes on Eva, sleeping like an angel in my bed, I felt real pain. Her present had to wait, but she looked to tempting to leave. I kissed her forehead, protectively, and pulled myself out of the room.
In the middle of my consultation, she sent me a text notifying me of the fact that she was pouting. Her reasoning was flawless, as she presented her motive being my leaving without waking her up.
I texted her my apologies and promised I’ll make it up at the sorority party. As we both had crazy schedules for the day, there wasn’t any chance of us seeing each other until the next evening.
By lunch, I was too exhausted to be happy about the party, but I had every intention of keeping my promise.
I arranged a day off for tomorrow, thinking that I would sleep in, put in a few hours at the shelter, then get ready to meet Eva at her dorm.
It made sense, it was a good plan; if not for the fatigue following me all day through my appointments, and the gallons of coffee barely keeping me awake, I would’ve actually been excited about my plan.
“How are you today, Sir?” the nice waitress asked me, as she poured me another coffee.
“Same as yesterday, only more tired.”
She smiled warmly. “You look like you’ve had plenty of coffee today. Are you sure you want another cup?”
“Keeps me going, what can I say?”
“How about I make you a nice tea?”
I glanced at my watch. It was already late in the afternoon so anymore caffeine would interfere with my sleep.
“Sure. Why not?” I finally said and watched her take away my coffee. I was already regretting my decision, as I wasn't quite sure I would be awake enough to get through my last two consultations.
It seemed that a bridal party had heard about my services and every lady wanted me to see them, looking for recommendations on cosmetic treatments. It was simply useless to point out I was not a dermatologist, they wouldn’t have it.
“Here. I made it to go.”
“Thanks.” I paid for my tea, smiled at the waitress and left for the elevators.
I miraculously survived the rest of the evening without any incidents and soon found myself back in my room. A warm shower had never felt this good before. I thanked the gods of hot water and modern plumbing as I shampooed my hair, then wrapped myself in a soft towel, brushed my teeth and crushed into bed.
I could barely see the screen as I texted Eva good night.
The surprising thing about working myself to the point where I slept like a comatose person was that I always woke up fully energized and in the best spirits. It was almost worth it to exhaust every ounce of energy in my body, only to enjoy the feeling of a restful morning.
Despite planning to sleep in, couldn’t stay in bed past nine o’clock.
Eva was busy with classes, so I soon found myself bored out of my mind.
“Stop being so dramatic and just go for a walk or something,” was Eva’s sensible advice, followed by an assortment of emojis.
Joking aside, she was right, so I went for a run before my shift at the shelter.
As I got there, I was happy to notice that it wouldn’t be a crowded day. Everything went smoothly, a few scratches, one or two dog bites, the usual coughs — all in a good day’s work.
I was actually whistling at the end of my shift. I put my jacket on, grabbed my bag and headed for the door. Then, an ear piercing scream happened and I knew my day was about to be screwed.
“Doctor Morris, Sheila’s water broke!” my nurse shouted as she ran past me.
“Great,” I muttered. “I’m coming!”
Between assisting Sheila and convincing the 911 operator this wasn’t a prank, I managed to be half an hour late with my schedule. Eva would kill me.
Finally free of my duties, I haled a cab, ran to my room, took the shortest shower in human history and got dressed as fast as I could. I was still late.
When I finally knocked on Eva’s door, I was actually worried she might be mad at me.
“I know you have a good explanation for being thirty minutes late. I know you do, honey, you wouldn’t stand me up like this,” she said
to me as I stepped into her room.
