Castle Magic

by Miranda Jones

“Be quiet, Tiffany,” said Mrs. Jasmine. “I think you, Sara, and Melanie had better sit at the front with me on the way home so that I can keep an eye on you.”

Looking very glum, Tiffany and her friends did as they were told. Meanwhile, Ali and Mary managed to get two seats at the very back.

“Did you enjoy the day, class?” Mrs. Jasmine asked as the driver started the engine.

“Yes, Mrs. Jasmine,” everyone chorused, except for Tiffany and her friends.

Ali joined in. She couldn't help feeling surprised when she realized that she really had enjoyed the day, in spite of all the genie magic. She bent over to put her backpack on the floor and Little Genie poked her head out, grinning from ear to ear

“See?” Genie said proudly. “I told you we wouldn't get into any trouble today!”
