"Alexandria Virginia has a population of approximately 152,000 people and it’s located along the Western bank of the Potomac River. It’s largely populated with professionals working in the federal civil service, in the military, or one of the many private companies which contract to provide services to the federal government. One of the largest employers is the Department of Defense. The historic center of Alexandria is known as Old Town and a major draw for tourists.
