Freedom`s arrival on New Earth was greeted with loud cheering and the call for yet another party, and so the Planets along the spiral arm of Perseus enjoyed the peace that their people sort after.

Tyler drew up a trade agreement with the town council; for Orion needed many things that New Earth was rich in; oil, timber, wheat and other foodstuffs. Some were destined for Orion but some would go to Genesis. He was deeply interested in the fishing boats that New Earth manufactured for their own people. It was something that interested Tyler greatly, for he thought that the Orionists that lived along the extensive coastline of Orion could use them to help raise the prosperity of this group of people. In return, Orion had various things to exchange for the produce of New Earth, such as Dylithium crystals, scientific hardware from Brian Goddard, and the expertise of the colonists on Orion in many countless professions and trades. Both planets normally traded with Earth, but now they could also exchange some goods with the other planets of the spiral arm, and at a much better price. Tyler was playing with the idea that the Orion Defender could lose its large Phaser weapon and revert to being a local cargo vessel once more, but he would leave that decision until a later time. Caroline and Tyler were able to enjoy a normal life again while partying on New Earth, no calamities demanding his attention happened while they were there.

The shakedown cruise of the Freedom was a success, as the crew slowly got used to the habits of so powerful a warship, but Tyler knew that President Michaels would soon learn about the addition to the smallest squadron belonging to the space fleet of Earth and its colonies.

"It will annoy him so much, it is likely to give him an embolism, I will have to call my friend Special Agent Formby and ask him to keep me updated about our President`s health." Tyler said to Caroline as the Freedom lifted off from New Earth and set a course back to Orion and home.

"You are terrible Tyler; you only think bad thoughts about our President." Caroline said laughing.

"I will apologise to him the next time that we meet him Caroline, but for the moment let us not think of him or it will make me ill, and with everything along the spiral arm moving along in the right direction for a change that would be a shame."

A call from Charles Bragg on Genesis was a little odd though; the people on the planet had decided to build a monument showing Tyler standing before the starship Defender. Caroline could not stop laughing when she heard this.

The town council of Orion were still unsure how to take Tyler, he was obviously a good man, and he was always ready to enrich Orion, and now the nearby colony planets that also followed their religion. He had radioed ahead to tell them of the trade agreement that he had come to with New Earth, no paperwork or signatures of course, for that wasn`t Tyler Burrow`s way of doing things. As Bishop John Sinclair had said many a time to them, Tyler Burrows may not be a follower of their religion, but God has obviously chosen him to conduct a crusade in this sector of space, and they all had to back him to the hilt.
