Regretfully

“Love you, baby,” Tristen said as he turned and bent over for a quick kiss.
“Love you, too, Tristen. Take us home.”
I’d tried for months to fuck her out of my system. Seeing her at the baby shower and now at the wedding obliterated any of the progress I had made. I’d always be there for her, no matter what, but that didn’t mean I liked watching her fall in love with another man.
Her walking down the aisle, though— it was obvious he had her heart. I was happy for her in that sense. She deserved a family and was going to make an awesome mom. Being in the same room with her was like a push and a pull. I wanted to be close to her, but it hurt knowing we would only ever be friends.
A few of her friends at the baby shower and reception were doable, but it felt like betrayal. She’d find out. Not that it was any of her damn business, but I respected her more than that. At least in Chicago, I didn’t have the reminders of her. My routine would go back to normal and the options for women there were endless.
She was the one I compared every girl to. The girl who kept me from moving on.
How many drunken nights of random women would it take for me to accept her choice and live for myself?
I hope you all enjoyed Tristen’s story! Obviously, there is some content that would be considered spoilers and I don’t want to ruin the surprise for other readers. Thank you for purchasing and reading this ebook. If you enjoyed it please leave a short review on book-related sites such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iTunes, Kobo and Goodreads or your favorite review forum. If you could please leave out any spoilers in your reviews and commentary, it would be greatly appreciated. Readers rely on reviews, as do authors.
Amy—You’re my best friend turned critique partner. I can always count on your honesty and genuine feedback. You keep me in line but also tempt me to push the boundaries. We’re alike in too many ways to count and I’m grateful to have you by my side.

Jenny— I. Freaking. Love. You! You’re amazing at what you do and I feel relieved when I hand my work off to you. You understand my writing and how will perceive it perfectly. Can’t wait to finally meet you in December!
Laura— Your ability to turn a random photo into a piece of art is phenomenal. I can’t wait to see what you create for Tate!
Deena— I should probably thank you for putting up with my shit too. You know your stuff and am thankful to have you on my team! <3
My street team and betas— Thank you for being as excited about Regretfully as I was! You got to see the progress and because of your feedback, it’s now a better product. Thank you for promoting my books and being a safe place to share whatever might be going on. I love each and every one of you <3
My readers— I hope you enjoyed Tristen’s story and believe me when I say, Tate’s story will be quite the opposite. He’s the bad boy who has a soft heart and I can’t wait for you to see the chaos he is going to bring!
Texas born and raised, I found my love for dirty books rather recently. I work in real estate for my day job and I write contemporary romance with a twist of suspense and erotica. Sinfully, Regretfully, and Deceitfully can be read in order or as standalones. Sinfully and Regretfully take place around the same time frame and can even be read in reverse order (will give more background on Payton and Ryder’s story). Tate’s story, Deceitfully, will finish off the series and will be out in spring of 2015.
