  “Hmm.” He gave her a long, loving grin. “I’ll wager you can dredge up a few more wishes, given enough time.”

  She smiled. He knew her almost too well.

  “Hmm. I suppose I could come up with one or two more.” Sarah offered him a sham-innocent look. “If you insist.”

  “I insist,” Daniel said.

  And although he didn’t look the least bit innocent, nor behave the least bit like a reformed scoundrel, Sarah truly didn’t mind. Because Daniel did proceed to make her wishes come true just then…and for all the rest of their lives, as well.
