Wicked Plans

Running my fingertips along her pussy through her panties, I only teased her until I felt the heat and wetness there building. She dropped her head back against the door when I massaged her clit, her eyes closed and her lips parted as her breaths started coming in pants.

She held onto my shoulders in almost painfully tight grip, but I moved my hips into hers to help act as an anchor. And also because it meant getting some pressure where I needed it as well.

Focused on her despite my own need, I tugged the front of her panties to the side and sank my fingers between her velvety folds. She must have had another waxing appointment recently, because she was soaked, soft, and completely bare. It allowed me to feel exactly how swollen she already was, and it drove me right to the fucking edge.

“God, Ruby,” I mumbled against her neck, grazing kisses over her skin as my fingers went to work. “You’re going to come for me soon, aren’t you? Why are you so pent up? Haven’t you given this pretty pussy any love since the last time we were together?”

“I… I have a… a roommate,” she stuttered, her eyes still screwed shut as these quiet little mewls spilled from her lips. “It’s not like it’s easy getting any time to myself when there’s someone sleeping in the bed next to mine.”

“Ever heard of the shower?” I asked, curious even though it felt like my blood had turned to hot mercury in my veins at her admission. “Don’t get me wrong, I fucking love being responsible for your pleasure, but shit. It’s been forever.”

“Tell me about it,” she moaned, bringing her head forward to rest it against the front of my shoulder as her body started trembling.

Worried that my grip on her wasn’t tight enough with the way she was practically vibrating against me, I pinned her securely to the door with my hips. “Come for me, baby. Let me have it all.”

My words weren’t even cold yet when she stiffened and turned her face into my clothes to muffle her cries. She soaked my hand in her juices, then slowly started gaining control of her breathing again.

As soon as she was stable enough on her feet, she slumped back against the door and looked up at me to flash me a lazy smile. “As if I’d ever do anything in the shower. That’s just tacky.”

“You might think it’s tacky, but it’s also necessary sometimes.” I held her gaze as I brought my hand to my mouth, then watched her eyes widen when I licked it clean before taking both of her hands in mine. “Come here. I’m not done with you yet.”

I hadn’t been in here before, but I’d spotted some soft sacks of something stacked against the back wall when I’d opened the door. Several of them were lying in front of the rows against the wall, almost like they’d been specifically left there to provide a place to lay someone down.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Dax and Hadley already found this place earlier. I’d noticed them disappearing in the break between dinner and the start of the fundraising. Doesn’t really matter why they’re already there, though. They’ll do just fine for what I have in mind.

Once I’d led her across the space, I saw a very thin layer of dust covering the sacks that said it was unlikely anyone else had used this perch tonight, but that only made me grin. We’re just lucky, then.

“Lie down on there,” I said, moving my hands to my belt to undo it while she did what I’d asked. We’d be able to hide a bit of dust on the red of her dress, but it was a different story to try to get it totally off my black pants.

As she lay down with her legs spread and her cheeks and chest still flushed, she watched me take my pants off with her eyelids at half-mast. Once I had the pants in my hand, I hooked them onto a shelf by one of my belt hoops, then hoped the effort to at least try to be careful would pay off. If it didn’t, well fuck it. It wasn’t like me to even try.

My jacket followed the pants, but the shirt and everything else would have to stay on. I probably looked ridiculous half-dressed with my rock-hard cock standing up to peek out from the underneath the shirt, but Ruby didn’t seem amused by my appearance at all.

Before I could lower myself to my knees like I’d been planning to, she sat up and snaked her arms around my hips. With one hard tug, she brought me close enough that she could line me up with her mouth.

She grinned at me, then planted an almost chaste kiss right at the tip of my dick. “You’re in control, as always, but I have a welcome back to your feet present I’ve been meaning to give you.”

Without waiting for any kind of response from me, she opened her lips and ran them over my shaft. I groaned, only just stopping myself from burying my hands in her hair. There wouldn’t be much we’d be able to do to put her hairstyle back together before we had to go back in if I wrecked it.

Again, not the type of shit I usually worry about.

I didn’t hold on to the random thought, though. With her mouth forming a tight suction on me and her tongue doing things that were making the sounds of gunshots pop in my ears, I couldn’t care less about the shit hurtling through my brain. This feels too damn good.

Biting back a deep groan, I rocked my hips and did my best to keep my hands to myself. It didn’t take long before I couldn’t take it anymore. Looking down at her, I tapped on her shoulder and waited for her eyes to meet mine before I shook my head.

“I’m tapping out,” I whispered harshly. “You’re way too good at that to keep going.”

Even in the dim lighting, I could see the color on her cheeks deepening. It was so fucking hot that she liked the praise so much.

Pulling back slowly, she released my cock with a soft pop and batted her lashes at me. “I’m glad you liked your present. For the record, I’d have gone all the way if you let me.”

“Another time,” I promised, dropping to my knees before spreading hers apart and positioning myself between them. “For now, just lie back and let me take care of you.”

Take care of you? Where the fuck did that come from? I cleared my throat and pushed her dress up again, hooking my fingers into the waistband of her panties to yank them down. “Let me take care of your pussy, I meant. You’ve been neglecting it for much too long.”

She chuckled, lying back but keeping her weight propped on her elbows as she watched me lowering my head. “I knew what you meant. The way I see it, you’re the one who’s been neglecting her for much too long. Chop, chop, Mr. Control Freak. There’s no way we’ve got a lot of time left before someone comes looking for us.”

“Chop, chop?” I repeated, staring at her with wide eyes before running my fingertips along her thighs. “One day, when we have time, you’re going to pay for thinking that you’re the one running this show.”

Her eyelids grew heavy again and she spread her legs even wider than they already were as she took over with hiking up her dress and pulling it all the way to her hips. “If you think I have a problem with you making me pay, then think again.”

“So sassy,” I murmured as I ran my fingers through her swollen folds once more.

Since I could see them this time, the need that ricocheted through me was even more intense than before. I moaned as I toyed with her, then dove right in when the sight of her glistening on my skin threatened to make me forget all about the fucking dinner.

With my mouth and tongue in play this time, she was clamping her thighs around my head and whisper-yelling my name again very soon after. Before she’d even properly come down this time, I grabbed a condom from my wallet and was inside her while her muscles were still fluttering around me.

I’d been wondering about a position in here that wouldn’t involve me taking much of her weight on my leg, but with me on my knees and the perfect height of the sacks she was on, I hadn’t had anything to worry about. It was absolutely incredible to be able to be with her without any real limitations.

Sure, I had to watch my leg and I wouldn’t have been able to fuck her against the door quite yet, but this wasn’t a position we’d landed in because I was a cripple. She wouldn’t have to help me up after and she didn’t have to do any of
the work as I thrust into her.

It made all the difference. Without all of the frustrations that had been holding me back the previous times I’d been with her, we had a crazy quickie that I’d remember for the rest of my life before we both went flying over the edge together.

Sweaty and out of breath, I held her for a few minutes after and then stood up to get rid of the condom. Thankfully, there was a trash can in the corner and even a roll of industrial paper towels I could wrap the thing in. Nobody can ever accuse me of not being considerate.

After putting my pants back on, I held a hand out to Ruby to help her up so we could both put ourselves back together. “You okay?”

She smiled as she smoothed out her dress. “I’m fine. You? How’s the leg?”

I flexed the muscle to humor her, then tucked my shirt into my waistband and put my jacket on. “It’s all good. We don’t have to worry about it anymore.”

“I’m always going to worry about it,” she said, rolling her eyes at me when I scowled down at her. “You can’t blame me. I worked damn hard to get it healed. I need to make sure you don’t mess it up with your extra-curricular activities.”

“Oh, you worked hard to get it healed, huh?” I poked her in the ribs before dropping my hand to lace my fingers between hers as we made our way back to the door. “What am I? Chopped liver?”

“Nope,” she said chirpily as she paused to look at me before we left the closet. “You’re just the ass who did everything in his power to hinder your own recovery. I mean, jeans, Brysen? What’s so wrong with sweatpants?”

I squeezed her hand and dropped a quick kiss on top of her head. “There’s nothing wrong with them, but there’s nothing right with them either. Not unless I’m taking them off you. Now go ahead, Sprite. Before I decide to drag you back in there.”

She squealed with laughter when I pretended that I really was about to drag her back, sliding her hand out of mine and darting out into the hallway. Her eyes were bright with laughter when she whirled around to face me again, relaxed happiness radiating from her like a fucking beacon as she danced backward.

“Catch me if you can, Brysen,” she called out. “Let’s see if you really worked hard enough at your recovery to be bragging about it.”

  Chapter 31

  RUBY

By the time Brysen and I made it back to the dinner, the fundraising part of the event was over and the dance floor had been opened. Elegantly dressed couples stared deeply into each other’s eyes as they swept across the floor, the lights in the hall now dimmed and the atmosphere much more relaxed.

Or maybe I was just feeling more relaxed. My time with Brysen had left me feeling exhilarated, rejuvenated, and much more able to focus than I had been before. It was amazing what a quick spot of incredible sex in a closet could do for a girl.

With a smile on my face that even I could tell was radiant, I walked into the room a few minutes ahead of Brysen. When he’d caught up with me, much faster than I’d have expected, he’d kissed me surprisingly gently and tried to help me to fix my hair after. We hadn’t managed to repair all the damage we’d done to it, but at least it didn’t look near as bad as it could have.

Brysen would be following me back in soon, but we’d thought it’d be much less obvious what we’d just gotten up to if we pretended not to have spent all this time together. Before I even made it to the table, my dad saw me walking toward them and said something to my mom before he got up.

She smiled fondly at him before touching a hand to her heart and turning to me. Under her watchful, loving eye, my dad came over to me and offered me his hand.

“May I have this dance, princess?” he asked, dipping into a low bow as he grinned at me. “I was just starting to think I wasn’t going to get a dance with the most beautiful girl in the room before this party was over.”

“Aren’t you supposed to say that Mom’s the most beautiful girl in the room?” I asked as I placed my hand in his and let him pull me closer.

He winked down at me as his hand came to a rest between my shoulder blades. “Let’s just tell her that I said you two share the top spot.”

“You got it, old man.” I placed my hand on his arm and smiled. “Thanks for coming, Daddy. It means the world to me that you’re here.”

“We wouldn’t have missed it for the world, sweetheart.” He started dancing, and I fell into step with him effortlessly. We’d done this so many times over the years that we moved together like we shared a brain.

“It’s great to see you doing so well here,” he commented as he swept me across the floor. “We’re so proud of you, baby. You seem to be coming into your own so well.”

“I owe it all to you,” I said honestly, smiling up at the man I’d always thought of as my personal superhero. He might not have had a cape, but he sure deserved one.

Sweet, precious moments like these always reminded me to stop and do my best to be present. There were far fewer opportunities like this one now that I was away at college and soon enough, there would be even fewer still.

While I had him here, I knew I needed to let him know that I appreciated him. “Seriously, Dad. You guys have no idea how grateful I am for all your love and support.”

Especially now that I’ve seen firsthand how different it is in some families. And on that note… My father followed my gaze to our table.

“Brysen seems like a nice young man,” he commented lightly, a knowing twinkle in his eye when he brought his gaze back to mine. “His family? Well, I’m not quite sure what to think about them.”

I laughed softly, shrugging a shoulder as I dipped my head in agreement. “They’re something of a conundrum for me too. I don’t know what to make of them either.”

“The girl is nice,” he said. “Young and quiet, but nice. Brysen seems to be the most composed of the bunch. It looks like he’s got his shit together, but I suppose it has to be that way if one has a place at this university.”

This time when I laughed, it was a much louder sound and it whipped out after me as Dad spun me out and back into his arms. “No, he definitely doesn’t have anything together. I think he’s just gotten so good at pretending that he comes across that way.”

The wrinkle between Dad’s brows deepened. “That doesn’t sound promising. I thought he was your friend.”

“He is, but it’s been a rocky friendship,” I admitted. “There are some demons in his past that I wasn’t sure I wanted to contend with at first and a nerdy girl sure wasn’t his first choice for a friend. We’ve worked it out, though. Sort of, anyway. I think we’ve fallen into a unique rhythm, which is nice.”

A touch of worry crept into his eyes as they held mine. “If he has demons, perhaps you shouldn’t be the one to try to exorcise them. Some people are fonder of their demons than we might think. They tend to cling to them much more than you’d expect them to. In a way, I think living with those demons becomes a comfort zone for them and you know how people can react when they think you’re trying to push them out of their comfort zones.”

“True, but I see a lot of good in Brysen too,” I said. “I just don’t think he has a lot of people in his life who believe in those good parts of him. I believe in them, and I’m determined to see it through. Everyone deserves to have at least one friend in their lives who knows the good is there, don’t you think?”

“Sure, I do,” he replied, but the worry was still there. “I trust you, love. Mom and I both do. I just hope you know your worth and that, if it ever becomes too much of a cost to have him around, you’ll kick him to the curb. You might see the good, but that doesn’t mean you’re responsible for bringing it to light. That’s all on him, honey. When he’s ready, it’s his job to embrace it or to shun it on his own.”

I hated the thought that Brysen might choose to shun those good parts of him, but I also knew that my dad was right. It was exactly what I’d been worried about too—that he was too damaged or too caught up in the chaos he liked to create around him to ever leav
e it behind.

“I promise I will, Daddy,” I said, and I meant it. “You know how I feel about trouble. I may be determined to see my friendship with Brysen through, but that also means that when it’s through, it’s through.”

“Good.” He planted a soft kiss on my forehead and then started asking me questions about Hadley and Dax for the rest of our dance. My parents seemed to have really hit it off with the two of them, and Dad was interested in learning more about them.

Happily letting him guide the subject away from Brysen for the time being, I answered his questions and laughed when his expression became confused at times. Those two had certainly had their ups and downs, and talking about it now made it seem surreal that they were as settled and genuinely happy as they were.

When the song ended, Dad spun me out of his arms one last time before leading me back to our table. Brysen had returned while I’d been dancing, but every last bit of the playful, relaxed guy I’d left behind in the hallway had vanished in that time.

It took my brain a moment to catch up to what was going on. Mrs. Burke seemed to have gotten fairly tipsy on her champagne, and Emily was trying to coax her to her feet without anyone noticing what she was doing.

Brysen’s younger sister looked gorgeous in a pastel green dress, but like her brother’s playfulness, the sweet, almost awed smile she’d been wearing all night was gone now. In its place was the pale, drawn expression of someone who was desperate to get the job done.

She barely even glanced at me as Dad and I approached. On her other side, Mr. Burke was bent over at the waist and speaking into his wife’s ear. I couldn’t hear everything he was saying, but I made out some of the furious muttering.

“Hurry up, Alison,” he snapped. “This isn’t the place to make a scene. I told you to slow down. You never fucking listen to me.”

I blinked in surprise at the tone he was taking with her. In all my life, I’d never heard my father speaking to my mother like that. Emily didn’t seem phased or taken aback by it at all, making me think this definitely wasn’t the first time she was hearing it.
