Ravishing Raine

Immediately, the air cleared. The wind disappeared and with it, all the fae that had helped to banish him. Dozens of Serenity’s citizens left the woods on either side of the road, their heads tossed back as they scented the air around them. Unbelievably, the heavy tension that had hung around the people of Serenity for nearly a year was no longer there. Until it disappeared, Raine hadn’t realized how much the town and the people in it were affected by the Demon Lord’s presence among them.

Leaning against her car, Raine opened the link between her mates, broadcasting to all three. Are you all ready to take me home? I’m suddenly craving meat and you three are certainly packing enough of it in your jeans.

Jakob’s eyes widened as his gaze dropped to where her hands cradled her still-flat stomach. She could see the question in his eyes that he was too afraid to ask, so nodded, a slow nod followed by a wide smile. How about you three daddies take this mother home and she can show you just how much she loves you. Before the last word left her lips, her three mates had her wrapped in their arms. She could feel their absolute joy at the knowledge that she already carried her first litter, though she hoped she had just one this first time out. With infinite care, Jakob tucked her in the passenger’s seat of his SUV.

Even with the danger passed, apparently Jakob wasn’t about to take any chances with her safety and the safety of their children. Despite the fact she would have been kicking and screaming a week ago about being coddled and taken care of this way, fighting against such suffocation, she laid her head back instead, confident that though they may do all they could to keep her safe, they wouldn’t suffocate her, wouldn’t stifle her sense of independence.

With a smile plastered on her face, Raine relaxed and let her men take care of her. And as they drove toward home, she couldn’t wait to show them just how much she trusted them, after clearing it through her OBGYN, of course. She couldn’t wait to see their faces once she asked them to take her to the playroom. Soon, she promised herself. Sneaking a peek at Jakob, she almost laughed aloud. Definitely soon!

  About the Author

Bonnie Rose Leigh has been enthralled with the written word since childhood. When she ran out of things to read, she created her own stories. Now, she is a multi-published author and lives in a small town in Upstate, New York. She spends most of her time on the computer either writing or visiting with friends. When not busy on the computer, her free time is consumed with reading. It doesn't matter what genre the book is either, though she is partial to romance novels. Her favorite after-hours hobby is sprawling in a chair with a book clutched in her hands and a cup of cocoa sitting nearby.

Bonnie would love to hear from each and every one of you. Make sure you subscribe to her monthly newsletter or check out her blog as it will be updated regularly with release dates, excerpts and online appearances. And, as always, feel free to drop her email if you have any questions, concerns or just want to chat, and she'll get back to you as soon as she can.
