  “Keep it down or I’ll do it for you,” Chris warned, a roll of duct tape in his hand.

  “I demand some answers,” said Qalat. “What is he doing here?”

  “It was decided he’s a loose end,” Chris replied. “We can’t have those so he’s going with you.”

  “Going with me?” Qalat repeated, confused. “What are you talking about? Where are we going? Your Prime Minister promised me my freedom.”

  “Uh, sorry, Moe, but that’s not true,” Chris replied. “He promised you a flight out of the country on a private plane. I was there when he said it. Do you know what else he said?”

  “What? What did he say?” asked Qalat.

  “He said whoever was responsible for the airbase attack would pay with their lives,” Chris replied, pulling out a strip of duct tape, “And he asked us to make it happen.”
