Savannah had never wanted anyone the way she wanted Dante Shaw.

And never had anyone been more off-limits.

He tapped her lips. “Your dominance is mine, what?”

  She found herself smiling. “Sir.”

His eyes narrowed and her hands tightened on his thighs. A single look and she was ready to fling herself on his mercy. She was so fucked up over this man. It was why she’d sought out another to ease her tonight.

She was a stubborn woman and readily admitted it wasn’t her most endearing trait. But she’d been afraid to go to Dante. Afraid of what he made her feel and how easily he made her feel it. It didn’t matter that she craved his dominance or that her body responded to him like it never had to another person.

Fear had entrenched itself in her psyche, and this time there was much more to lose than just her job. She could lose herself to the man with the black eyes and hot heart.

He leaned close to her, his breath fanning over her face. He smelled of mint and sandalwood. “I like that from your lips. There’s one more thing I need to hear from you before I take you home and make you scream my name, Savannah.”

  “What’s that?”

  He tapped her lips again.

  She sighed. “What’s that, Sir?”

“Tell me you’re mine,” he whispered at her lips.

“What are you trying to do to me?” she asked desperately.

But she knew, didn’t she? He wanted to own her.

  “Everything.”

She gave up. The trembling in her heart reflected in the hands grasping his thighs. “For as long as this lasts, I’m yours,” she returned, her lips brushing his with every word.

“I don’t know that it’s enough,” he responded.

She shook her head, inclined to agree with him. “I have a feeling with you it could never be enough.”

Then he took her mouth, holding her head in his big hands as he dove into her again and again. She lost her mind and a little more of her heart to him and hated herself for it. But underneath the hate was acceptance.

As long as this lasted she’d revel in it, because he gave her something she had to have. She focused on the feel of his lips on hers, the heat of his tongue in her mouth, and the taste of the breaths they exchanged. She allowed him to take her over completely and let him lead her to the place only he had ever taken her.

And as she gave him all she was, Savannah did her best to push aside her fears that he just might be the only one who could.
