Stirring Up Dirty

Coming up for air, she shoved her fingers through his hair and grinned at him. Her eyes shone bright with desire and exhilaration. Her cheeks red, her breathing deep, she already had that sexy messed up look like she’d been ridden hard and completely satisfied.
And he’d make sure she left here today feeling both.
Clasping her hips, he shoved her down harder on his lap, her already wet cunt gliding along his shaft. Her heat nearly scalding him, he laid his head back against the couch, watching her as she closed her eyes and gave herself over to pleasure.
Their heavy breathing filled the living room as he rolled her hips back and forth. Christ, she was spectacular. Her long hair swiped over her shoulder, mouth agape, cheeks flushed… She was primed and ready. All he’d need to do was shift her panties to the side and sink deep inside. He groaned.
Her eyelids lifted, the desire in her gaze nearly stealing his breath.
“You feel so good against me, babe,” he mumbled, prompting her hips to move faster.
She held on to his shoulders, her fingers digging in. “Eric,” she moaned, breathless.
His heart rate picked up, and he absorbed the joy of his name on her lips. He wanted to hear more of that. Every day. As much as possible.
What the hell are you thinking? There was no turning back. Not right now. Not when she was sliding against him, her pussy hot, and driving him to near insanity. How he was to keep a coherent thought in his head, he had no idea.
But one zipped through his mind, nearly stopping his heart.
They couldn’t do this here. Not when either of his siblings could walk in. Plus they’d be more comfortable in his bedroom.
“Let’s take this to my room.”
Eyes wide, her hips picking up speed, she frowned. “What?”
“My room, babe. Hang on.”
Shuffling to the edge of the couch, he wrapped both of his arms around under her ass and stood. He juggled her position, her arms tight around his neck, then carried her down the hallway to the back bedroom.
Laying her on the bed, he grinned and shoved his pants down, then stepped out of them. She latched her gaze onto his hardness, which stood straight out, proud and happy. He lowered a hand to his shaft, pumping it as he walked to the side table and pulled out a foil packet.
Holding it up in one hand and rubbing his dick with the other, he strode back to her. “This is why we came in here.”
Realization dawned and she giggled. “Glad one of us was thinking.”
Dropping the packet on the bed, he touched her shoulders and laid his body over hers. He tugged her skirt up to her waist. “Let’s not think anymore.” He kissed her, slow and lazy, addicted to her sweet taste.
Candy’s fingers inched the back of his shirt up, then pulled it over his head completely. Her palms slid up over his chest, skimming over his nipples. Tingles skated down his spine, the pleasure shooting down to his cock, hardening it even more.
He laid his forehead against Candy’s, his eyes boring into hers. “I want to fuck you so bad. Get in that hot pussy and never come out.”
“Do it,” she said, breathless, her chest heaving.
Eric shook his head. “Not this time. I want to take you nice and slow.” He pressed his dick against her heat. His body trembled, his cock eager and ready to claim her. Grabbing the foil packet, he ripped it open and covered himself with protection. “Slow and lazy. One inch at a time. I want to stay in this hot body for a long time.” He drew his hand over her chest, over each breast and back to her cheek. “I don’t want to rush.”
Sitting back on his legs between hers, he slipped her panties down her legs and tossed them over his shoulder. Drawing down the straps of her dress, he peeled it away from her upper body, exposing her gorgeous breasts.
“Eric,” she pleaded, her arms outstretched.
He skimmed his hands along her thighs, closer and closer to her beckoning heat, wanting to take his time while need built in his chest, nearly cutting off his breath.
“Christ, you’re stunning. Truly, how’d I get so lucky?”
His touch never left her, and he absorbed every gush of air that rushed from her as he feathered along over every inch of her. Her nipples pebbled as his fingers moved over her chest, down her navel to her inner thighs.
Lowering his body over hers, unable to resist the urge to feel her skin against his, he sifted his fingers into her hair and kissed her forehead, then each cheek. Closing his eyes, he savored the feel of her against him, the quiet of the day and the two of them here together. He couldn’t remember the last time he felt such peace and relaxation.
He wanted to laugh. This woman irritated him. She wanted to whisk his sister away, and still he was helpless to deny the hunger and need he had for Candy. It made him uneasy in many ways. The way she’d wormed her way into his thoughts with her charms, the way she titillated his mind with the challenges she tossed at him all the time.
No one had ever affected him like this.
Shifting, he positioned his cock near her entrance and rolled his hips. Holding his shaft, he slid it up and down and over her clit, spreading her juices.
“Oh God,” she moaned, leaning her head back, the veins in her neck showing. “Eric,” she sighed, her body shaking. She lifted her ass off the bed, jerking against him, trying to drag him into her cunt.
“Jesus, woman, you’ll be the death of me.” His body shuddered as he pushed the tip of his shaft inside her.
Candy gasped, holding her body still while her legs shook. Plunging deep, his cock sank into her wetness.
She moaned.
“Heaven,” he whispered, and started to move.
Up on his elbows, he thrust hard, over and over. His gaze locked with hers, he put everything he had into making love to her. She lifted her legs, surrounding his hips with them and lifted her arms to grip the pillow with her hands.
Uninhibited, free and passionate, she gave herself over to him, allowed him to lead them to bliss. He sank in and out, his breath rushing from him, his chest getting heavy, needing to control his breaths. She destroyed him. Body, mind and soul. He was her prisoner—in lust and need.
Dragging her fingers over his back, her nails bit into the skin. He hissed through his teeth, loving the pleasure and pain. So fucking awesome. She was all he needed.
“Candy, honey,” he breathed, pushing in and out of her faster. His stomach clenched as his need built.
“Shh,” she whispered, tears in her eyes, and cupped his face. “Feels so good. So good. Hurry.” She closed her eyes, digging her fingers into his shoulders.
Rolling his hips faster, her walls gripped him tighter as her own pressure built. His heart raced, feeling like it was going to explode in his chest. Faster and faster his hips moved. He gripped her waist, holding her still while he pounded her body.
Sweat slid into his eyes, and his chest heaved.
“Eric, please, I’m going to come,” she shrieked, the high pitch driving into his chest and sliding over his spine.
“Now, baby, now.” Up on his knees, he pummeled her pussy. She planted the flats of her feet on his chest, opening her legs wide. His dick sank deeper than before, dragging him further into her glorious heat.
“Yes, yes, yes,” she chanted. Then she howled. Her body went rigid as her release washed over her.
Her pussy gripped him like a vice, and he shouted as he spurted his come inside her. Tremors overtook his body, sweat rolled down his back and he dragged in each breath as if it were his last. Hanging over her, his arms holding him up, he shook from head to toe.
Nothing had ever felt so good. No release had ever been so powerful.
As her breathing steadied, he relaxed and slid down onto her, his dick slowly easing from her. Sighing, he brushed her damp hair from her cheeks and grinned.
“You’re amazing.”
“I’m tired,” she slurred, her breathing slow and easy. “But thank you.” She lifted one eyelid and winked.
“Let
s get you settled.” Easing away from her, he grabbed the condom, tied it and dropped it into the wastebasket beside his bed.
Drawing the cover down a little, he moved back to her and lifted her body into his arms. Candy groaned but curled up against his shoulder. Eric smiled as he put her on the bed, then drew the covers from beneath her feet and over her body. She settled in, curling his pillow under her head, and sighed.
Needing a bit of shut-eye himself, he set the alarm on his phone for forty-five minutes, then joined her. She mumbled slurred words as he drew her into his arms and laid her head on his chest.
Closing his eyes, he savored the warmth of the woman beside him.
He was too tired to care that he could very much get used to moments like this.
Chapter Eight
Candy lifted the glass to her mouth and gulped the cold water to cool her dry throat.
Goddammit.
Though she didn’t regret the passion she and Eric shared over the last hour, he’d reached her in areas no one else ever had. Emotional areas she wasn’t used to. They’d always remained hidden and unattainable. But this man was becoming too much for her.
She wanted to laugh.
What her best friends would say if they knew she’d been snared by a man. The woman who went through men like she went through makeup. Who arrogantly boasted often that no man would ever be able to tame her. Or make her compliant enough to allow him into her heart.
She gripped the counter. Shit. What happened to the heart of stone she’d carried forever? The lessons her parents taught her couldn’t be forgotten. It scared her too much to think she was falling for a man who screamed of hearth and home.
And she was pretty certain it was all one-sided. Eric was approaching fifty. He hadn’t settled down either. She’d bet every dollar she had that he had no plans to do so. The ultimate confirmed bachelor.
Her heart lurched as his warm arms came around her waist, and his lips brushed the back of her neck.
“You were gone when I woke up from our nap.” He squeezed her tight. “We could have spent a few extra minutes enjoying the sun coming through the curtains.”
Drawing in a nervous breath, she patted his hands before moving away from him. Sitting at the table, hands shaking, she attempted a bright smile. “Playtime is over. Your brother and sister will be here in a few minutes.” She tidied her papers. “I’m sure you wouldn’t want them to find us together. They’d get the wrong idea.”
If an Oscar could be given for best performances when one’s heart was stuttering along at a marathon pace, then she’d be the winner. He couldn’t discover that she was ready to run back to Europe and never look back. She needed to distance herself from him, and business was the way to do that.
“No, of course not. But we don’t need their permission to enjoy each other.”
She glanced at him, watched his strong throat move as he drank water from a glass. He leaned casually against the counter as if he hadn’t a care in the world. His shirt stretched tight over his muscled chest and the nipples she’d enjoyed nibbling on not too long ago. Her mouth watered. There was no time for distractions. Not anymore.
She shook those thoughts from her mind and forced a smile. “I prefer to keep my pleasure time private. And I don’t want to confuse things with your sister. She is a priority for me, the main reason I am here.”
His jaw clenched. “Yeah. Let’s not forget your real agenda here.” He slammed the glass on the counter.
Candy wanted to cry and dance at the same time. Time to go back to their regular relationship. A good reminder to keep them both in check—even if it ruined the moments they’d shared in one another’s arms.
The back door opened and a wave of heat pushed its way into the air-conditioned room.
Melissa entered, all smiles, with Drew following close behind.
“It’s roasting out there,” Drew commented, reaching into the fridge for two bottles of water. He tossed one to his sister and cracked open his own.
“Sorry if we’re a few minutes late.” Melissa brushed a kiss on Eric’s cheek before taking a seat beside Candy. “I had to speak with my professor for a few moments. I’ve never been so glad for a day to end. It was boring. Anything exciting happen for you two?”
Candy’s gaze met Eric’s. He still looked furious with her for her comment earlier. Good. She shored up her shoulders. It needed to be this way. She shoved the notepad toward Melissa.
“An amazing morning. Take a look. So many of the community are coming together to help you all out.”
Drew moved away from the counter and leaned over Melissa’s shoulder, taking a look at the items she’d listed earlier. “Holy shit. Eric, have you seen all this?”
“No. I was out tending to the yard a lot of the day.”
Candy kept her head down. She couldn’t look at him as he lied to his siblings. Hell, it was her fault he was doing so. Her mistake by giving in and falling into bed with him. This family didn’t need her making a mess of everything. Not when they were working their way back to one another.
She had to get out of there. “I’ll leave this with you all and you can call me later, Melissa, with any changes or added thoughts. I’m waiting to hear back from a few other places and people who needed some time to think what they’d donate. They’ll be added to this list as I hear from them.” She picked up her bag from the floor beside the chair, then stood.
“But we were going to go over everything with Eric, remember?” Melissa frowned, worry coating her eyes.
“I know. But you can do that, right? You have the info you need. The heat has really gotten to me today. I’d like to get back to the hotel, shower and decompress for a little bit.”
“You’re welcome to do all that here. We have a great guest room,” Drew offered. “You don’t mind, do you, bro?”
Eric stared at her, his scowl making her wonder what his problem was. It was best to put some distance between them. Surely he knew that.
“I don’t mind at all.” He glanced at the clock and snickered. “You might as well stay the night. It’s getting close to dinner and I promised a grill night. You’re welcome to stay. In fact, I insist. Looks like you’ve done a lot of work to save my ass. Least I can do for you,” he winked, “is feed you.”
The floor needed to open and swallow her whole. What was this maniac playing at? Was he trying to drive her completely around the bend? Her head spun and the image of Linda Blair in The Exorcist filled her mind.
Yes, that was exactly how she was feeling.
“Staying tonight makes sense, Candy,” Melissa cut in, enthusiasm lacing her words. “You can nap before dinner. Then we can all go over everything for the auction. It’s a win-win.”
Candy narrowed her eyes at Eric. He winked again, knowing she was stuck.
Bastard.
“Well, show me to the guest room, then. A nice, relaxing shower sounds heavenly.”
“Super.” Melissa led the way from the kitchen, Candy following.
How she’d make it through the rest of the day with Eric, Candy didn’t know. There were too many emotions clouding her judgment, and just as many sparks flying between them that needed to be put out. Spending too much time with him wasn’t going to be good for her soul.

Eric finished putting the last steak on the plate. Turning off the barbecue and the propane, he picked up the dinner feast and headed inside. His mouth watered, eager to cut into one of these bad boys and find bliss. There was nothing better than a steak grilled on the barbecue, family and a gorgeous woman to stare at across the table.
The devil made him do it. To throw aside his anger and put Candy on the spot when his siblings encouraged her to spend the night with them… The devil on his shoulder won over the angel trying to soothe him into letting her go.
It was playing with fire—and he enjoyed the flames immensely—but nothing good would come of their sleeping together. Nothing at all. It would get complicated when it came t
o his sister and the auction they were organizing and thought would save the day. Plus, the ease with which he was growing comfortable with her had started to enlighten him to the necessity to take a step back.
Tonight, though, he planned to enjoy the evening and time with his siblings. He would keep things on an even keel with Candy and not overstep. For his brother and sister, he’d do whatever he could to support the auction and their belief in it. Even if he didn’t think they’d raise what they needed.
“Candy will be down in a minute.” Melissa cut into his thoughts as she set the bowl of green tossed salad on the table. “Can you grab the vinaigrette from the fridge, Drew?”
Eric sat and poured iced tea into each of their glasses. “Looks good, Mel. The garlic bread smells amazing.”
She took a seat beside him. “You and your love of garlic bread. I’m glad I put some loaves in the freezer a few weeks ago.”
He elbowed her. “And I appreciate it.”
“Have a seat, Candy.” Drew held a chair out for her, then took his own beside her.
“Thanks.”
Eric’s gaze met hers across the table. Exhaustion still coated her eyes. A red flush covered her cheeks when she glanced away. It didn’t seem as if she’d gotten any sleep earlier.
Perhaps he’d pushed her too far by asking her to stay. He hadn’t meant to do any harm, only to deal with some of the frustration he felt by inflicting the same upon her. It wasn’t fair. He was an ass, but being around her was proving far more tempting and agonizing than he’d like to admit.
He’d never been hooked on a woman before. They came and went, and he was always upfront about keeping things casual and light. Candy was a different case altogether. A woman who couldn’t seem to care less if he was around or not, independent and self-confident, she didn’t need anyone.
Yet being with her this afternoon, he’d seen vulnerability and a shyness he would never have identified with her. Her smile charmed him, her body nearly killed him, and her laughter was infectious.
