For You I Will

“I-I...” She gasped, as he slowly pumped in and out of her.

“Don’t make excuses for why you shouldn’t. You can’t tell me you don’t want to feel good all weekend.” He stopped moving against her. She groaned in protest. “I won’t move, unless you promise me…”

“God, Daniel, will you hush already? I need you to keep moving. Fine, I’ll spend the weekend with you.” She finally gave in when he remained still.

“You make things so hard.” He teased her as she peeked over her shoulder at him, eyebrows raised. “Oh, that pun was definitely intended,” he laughed. He grabbed at her hips and slammed his cock home. Her back arched as he pulled back out and did it again. “You should not feel this good, honey. You are going to drive me wild,” he gritted out, riding her slowly at first as his balls hit softly against her firm ass. She backed into him, following his rhythm. She had to agree, he felt equally intoxicating crammed into her warmth. He moved against her with rhythmic pulses and she couldn’t hold back anymore. She crashed around him. Three orgasms in one session was record breaking for her. What would he do to her this weekend? “Yes, baby, come for me. I can feel that.” Daniel continued to pump her senseless until he too released long and hard; his cum filling her hole and spilling from her depths. He leaned into her back with his arms wrapping around her middle, keeping her on her feet. “We need to get out of here,” he whispered.

  “I can’t move,” she sighed.

He grinned against her back, standing her up and flipping her back around in his arms as he looked down at her. “I have a walk-in shower with jets. How would that feel against your body?”

  “Like heaven.”

“Then let’s get out of here,” he said.

“Will you feed me? I’m starving,” she asked.

“Absolutely.” He leaned in and kissed her lips lightly.

She pushed away from him and grinned. “Then what are we waiting for?”

He smiled and walked across the room to pick up their clothes off the floor and her desk. He came back to her and bent to kiss her neck. “Whoa there, save that thought, please. I’m going to stop at home and get some clothes. Give me your address and I’ll be over in an hour.”

He handed her the clothes and winked at her. “I’ll text you. Let me leave you to get dressed. I’ll see you a bit later.” Daniel turned from her and headed toward the door. She watched his tight ass covered by his boxer briefs as he walked away. God, this man is sexy as hell.

She shimmied into and refastened her bra at the front as he turned to catch her checking him out. “Are you looking at my ass?”

“It wouldn’t be the first time,” she said, coyly picking up her skirt.

  “Really?” He raised a brow.

“Like you never noticed me checking you out before, Daniel. Come on.”

“Hmm, good to know. Well, come over and I’ll show you what I’ve been checking out.” He winked and her cheeks heated.

“Are you going to walk out there with just your boxers on?” she asked as he reached for her door handle. “Wonder if someone is here?”

  He shrugged. “I don’t care.”

“You clearly look like you just had sex.” She laughed.

“If someone is out there, they heard you screaming, Callie. My boxers aren’t what’s giving us away.”

She blushed. “Was I that loud?”

“It was a turn on,” he said, opening the door to her office.

“Oh my God!” Callie lifted her clothes to cover her bra and panties.

Daniel turned and faced Paul. The managing and named partner of the firm, and both of their bosses, stood scowling at them.

  Shit shoot shit!

  Chapter 5

“So, I see what goes on here after hours.” Paul looked from Daniel to Callie and back again. He looked down at the clothes in Daniel's hand instead of on his body. “How about the two of you get dressed and meet me in my office in five?”

The older man turned and moved down the hall before either of them could get a word in and they weren't sure they really wanted to, judging by the look on their boss’ face. He obviously wasn’t pleased to see them in this compromising position and neither of them were in any type of way to say anything.

When Paul was safely out of earshot, Daniel turned and faced Callie. Her eyes, as big as saucers, looked back at him.

“What in the whole fuck?” he whispered. “Does he usually come here after hours like this? I don't believe I've ever seen him in the office past five whenever he was even coming in.”

Sure, she had seen Paul burn the midnight oil plenty of times. But that was when he was feeling well; not since he had been on a leave of absence and he only came in once or twice a month just to check on everything and like Daniel said, it was always during office hours, never this late.

“Oh my God. This cannot be good. I cannot believe he saw us like this,” she mumbled, fumbling for her skirt.

“Here let me help you,” he said, coming over to her.

“No!” she said holding up a hand. “I think you've done enough.”

“It takes two to tango, sweetheart. That wasn't just me caught in my skivvies a few minutes ago.”

“I know, I know,” she said, shaking her head and turning her back to him to finish dressing. “I’m not blaming you for anything. It’s just... Oh my God, this is so embarrassing.”

Daniel ran a hand over his head. He'd known Paul for a long time. Sure, the man didn't look pleased, but he didn't look pissed either. Hell, the last time Paul had spoken to him, he had warned him that he and Callie needed to start getting along better for the sake of the firm and their clients. If anything, he was going above and beyond to do what he was told, right? He chuckled to himself. Paul would probably find the humor in that at least.

“Seriously?” Callie said buttoning her suit jacket. “What could possibly be funny right now?”

Daniel pulled on his pants. “Come on. You have to see the humor in all of this.”

“Oh yeah, I'm sure it'll be one hell of a story at the office Christmas party, but right now, I'm not feeling too ha ha over this embarrassing situation. We’re probably going in there right now to get our asses chewed out.”

He grabbed his shirt from her desk and shoved one arm in and then the other, looking at her as he did so. “No, I doubt it. Paul's not that type. He will show his disapproval, but I don't think he'll yell. Especially since he's not feeling well.”

“Yeah, I noticed that.” She lowered her voice. “Did you see his face? He looks as if he’s lost weight and he looks extremely tired. I'm wondering why he's here.”

Daniel thought about it, and Callie was right. Paul did not look himself.

He buttoned his white dress shirt as she looked for her heels somewhere in the room. Once they checked each other over to make sure all clothes were back in place, they exited her office and walked down the hallway toward Paul's large corner office.

“Why does this feel like The Green Mile?” she whispered.

“Hell, at least I got to enjoy my last meal,” he said, side-eyeing her, thinking about the valley between Callie's legs. His dick twitched at the thought. Depending on how this meeting went, he wondered if he could still talk her into coming home with him for the weekend. It may be an absolute dick move to think about her naked body beneath him right now, but hey, why not? They both enjoyed each other in her office and they both deserved the pleasure. She couldn't fault him for asking to continue what they’d started.

He saw the blush creep up her neck at his comment, but she didn’t have a retort. Her face was still drawn and concerned. She was more nervous about this meeting with Paul than he was. “Hey,” he said whispering to her. “It'll be okay. If you want, I'll do all the talking.”

“You don't have to talk for me,” she hissed.

He held up a hand in surrender. “Hey, we are partners in crime here.”

“Just stop talking!” she shot back at him.

  They
stopped outside Paul's office. His door was ajar. They could hear sounds of Paul coughing. It did not sound good. Callie turned to Daniel, her eyebrows raised. He shook his head. No, it did not sound good at all. Callie lifted her fist and knocked lightly on Paul's door.

The older man coughed one more time before he rasped out, “Come in. Shut the door behind you. I'm not sure if there's any of the associates still in the office.”

Daniel smirked at Callie. Well, that was a direct hit that maybe they should have thought about before they did the down and dirty in her office. Paul waited for the two of them to sit in the office chairs across from his desk. He looked over Callie and then turned his gaze to Daniel before he spoke. “So, I see the two of you are getting along better—”

“This is the only time, Paul. I'm sorry. I didn't know you were here. I swear it won’t happen again,” Callie said in a rush, before Paul could say anything else. Daniel turned and stared at her, giving her the what do you mean it won’t happen again look. She ignored him and looked at Paul. He held up a hand to stop her.

“You are two grown, consenting adults. What you do in your personal time is your own business. However, I have to draw the line when you decide to bump uglies in these offices. You will take it elsewhere. Do I make myself clear?”

Callie hid her face in her hands, but they both nodded their understanding. “Now, that really is the last I want to talk about that,” he continued. “Anyway, I'm glad I have both of you here tonight. It works out well because I was going to call a meeting with you, anyway. I’m sure both of you are wondering why I happen to be here at this hour. I was feeling a bit restless at home. I needed to get some air. I've always had peace in this office. I’ll miss it.” He closed his eyes briefly before he continued speaking. “I wanted to meet with you both about my leave of absence. It appears I will not be returning after all.”

Daniel felt his heart drop and Callie physically startled beside him. “Paul, what do you mean you're not returning? It's been a year. You're not feeling better?” Callie asked.

A blind person could see Paul was not feeling better. The older man was looking gaunt, thin and pale. There was obviously more to this illness than what he was letting on. Daniel wondered if it was cancer.

Paul shook his head. “Unfortunately, no. I haven’t been feeling well. And after speaking with my physician, it seems the cancer has progressed and there is little more they can do.”

Callie gasped beside him. “Oh my God. Paul…”

Daniel sat forward and stared at the older man. “Paul, what are you saying?” He felt himself choking up. The man was like a father to him and he wasn’t prepared to hear what the man would say. He needed to hear it, nonetheless. If Paul was dying, he needed to know so he could spend as much time as possible with him before he left this world.

Paul looked at Daniel. His eyes glazed over as he looked at the man he also considered like a son. “Daniel, I am on borrowed time right now, son. I don't know how long I have left, but I need to make sure my affairs are in order before I pass on. That includes this firm.”

Daniel heard Callie sniffle beside him softly as Paul continued speaking. “I haven’t told any of our clients yet, but in speaking to some of them about how satisfied they feel with how their business is being handled, they have some concerns about the way the firm is being run and managed, Daniel. Now, I don't want you to think this is a direct reflection on you, personally. Maybe it’s just your management style and something the two of you need to work on, together, to make this firm run, or there will be some thoughts of selling the firm after I’m gone.”

“Sell the firm?” Callie exclaimed, grabbing a tissue from Paul's desk. “You can't consider selling after all you've worked for, after everything you've done... We can make this work, Paul. Me and Daniel can work together. We can keep this going on in your name.”

“I will say, I had some doubts the two of you would be able to effectively work together. But, after tonight… It seems you two are making some effort to get along. The only problem now is convincing the clients and my board will push for the sale of the firm. Unfortunately, though I am named partner, I do have to answer to them when it comes to financials.”

“What can we do?” Daniel asked.

“Well, I think if you do some networking with the clients, as well as the board, to start, it'll help put their minds at ease. Right now you need to work on getting on their good side. After I'm gone, you will be the go-between, Daniel. I won't be here to be the buffer. You will have to find a way to get along with them if you are going to be sole managing partner.”

The wheels in Daniel’s head were turning. How would he make a better name for himself and get along better with his clients and the board?

He slid a glance at Callie. It would have to start with her. She could be his help in all of this, but did she want to? She had already talked to him about this more than once. His image, the way he treated the staff, what the clients were thinking, but he didn't realize how true it was until now, when Paul spoke.

His thoughts on the matter were interrupted when Paul broke out into another fit of coughing. It sounded chest wrenching and deep.

Callie jumped from her seat. “I will get you a bottle of water.” She exited the office before Paul could confirm or deny.

Daniel waited for the coughing spell to pass before Paul spoke again. “So… Callie, huh?” the older man smirked.

Daniel shrugged and chuckled. “I mean have you seen her? She’s a bit of a knockout, Paul.”

  Chapter 6

Callie came back to the office and the two men stopped their conversation. She eyed Daniel and Paul suspiciously but neither acknowledged her raised brow. She handed the bottle of water to Paul and looked over at the man she considered like a father. He did not look well, and it made her heart hurt knowing he’d suffered through this for the last year and he would not be with them for much longer. He offered her a weak grin and patted her hand as he accepted the water.

“It's good to see how far you both have come, professionally. I knew you when you were still young in your careers and to see you now and how far you’ve come…” He shook his head like a proud Sensei. “You are doing well and I know we can work this out for the firm.” He stood slowly from his chair. “I will be in touch. There’s much more conversation we need to have about everything. We need a plan to win over the clients and the board. But for now, it's getting late, and I need to get home. I'm sure the Missus is wondering where the hell I wandered off to. But she knows who she married, and she probably knows exactly where I am.” He let out a laugh ending in a short cough. He took a swig of the bottled water and smiled at them before reaching for his coat. Callie came around to the opposite side of the desk to help him. Once he was wrapped and buttoned up, he hugged her lightly and reached out to shake Daniel’s hand. “Have a good night. Don't get into too much trouble.” He winked. “Don't do anything I would do.” He patted Daniel on the shoulder and Callie blushed as Paul slowly walked out of the room. “Hey, Paul,” Daniel said calling after him. “You didn’t drive here tonight, did you? Do you need a ride home?”

“No no, I'm not driving. My driver is downstairs waiting for me. He will take me back to the house.”

The two watched as the elevator doors closed behind Paul before Daniel spoke. “So, tonight did not end at all as I thought.”

She just shook her head and didn't respond. He could see the emotional wall he tried to break through rebuilding right before his eyes. He had to get back through to her. Everything Paul had just said to them would require them to work together, not apart. “You know… I know it's a bit crazy, especially now, but do you still want to come over tonight? There's plenty we have to talk about…” He stopped making his case, the look on her face already answering his question.

She shook her head slowly indicating that was not a good idea. “I'm sorry, Daniel. I don't think we should, especially after everything we just found out about Paul and the fir
m... We need to put our heads together to think about plans moving forward and we can't do that if we are... messing around.”

He frowned. “On the contrary. I think if you and I were closer—”

She put her hand up cutting him off. “Please, don't even finish that statement. Let's just call it a night and we can discuss this further on Monday.”

She heard him whisper an expletive, but he did not say any more about their lack of closeness. He just shook his head. “Okay then, I will walk you out.”

She nodded and went back to her office. She gathered up her purse, her coat and any pertinent paperwork she’d need to work from home over the weekend which was the whole reason for coming back to the office in the first place. That seemed like days ago when it had only been a few hours. Now, she had a whole different mindset. Her wine buzz was completely worn off. She’d done things with Daniel she’d only wet-dreamed about before. And… now, she learned Paul, the person that had been in her life from the beginning of her career and had been her mentor, was dying. She could not think about anything else at the moment. Especially Daniel and whatever it was he wanted to do for the weekend. Talk? Yea, is that what we are calling it now?

But she wasn't trying to be completely cold-hearted. She could see he was also physically upset about the news of Paul and the extra responsibility the both of them would have. They should be there for each other. She just didn’t know if she had it in her right now. When she exited her office, shutting and locking the door, she turned and faced Daniel leaning against one of the secretary’s desks, hands in pockets, looking down at the floor. He looked up, weariness in his eyes. She walked over to him and they stood and stared at each other, neither saying anything, before Daniel broke the eye-lock and turned toward the elevator, jabbing the ‘down’ button.

When the elevator car came, they both stepped in standing side-by-side, looking forward at the steel doors as the numbers counted down from the twenty-ninth floor to the lobby. She would take Uber home and more than likely he would drive his more than expensive vehicle back to his place. They wouldn't see each other until Monday, like she asked. But something about that nagged at her. Was she being ridiculous?
