Thrilling Heaven (Room 103)

by Sidebottom, D H

He pulled up in front of a stunning Georgian house. Its huge lattice windows were surrounded by tons of creeping ivy and beautiful wooden shutters, the high roof had sunken windows and what looked like its original chimney turrets and the massive arched front door was flanked with wide white columns.

“Oh my God, this is so beautiful” I whispered, more to myself than Bulk but he heard me and thanked me as he came around to me and helped me inside.

“Come on little lady, let’s get you pissed.” He grinned at me and I nodded firmly as I thoroughly agreed with him.

  Yes, please.

  Chapter 7

“Do you have your penis pierced?” I slurred as I eyed Bulk seriously. His own eyes widened before he grinned and winked at me.

“Ah, ah, ah, that’s not a proper truth or dare question” he slurred back as he refilled our glasses.

“Yes it is. You picked truth, so either tell me the truth or I have to give you a dare.”

“Fine,” he relented. He downed his whisky in one and then squinted at me, “I do.”

I nodded respectfully. “That’s cool. Kyle would never have his done, as much as I begged him to. I mean, it’s supposed to be sooo good. Is it good? I have my bits pierced and it’s really, really good but a man’s is supposed to be… just wow.”

Bulk stared at me with wide eyes. “You have yours pierced?” he choked out as he refilled us again.

“Mmmm, my clitoris. Believe me; I need the extra stimulation where Kyle’s concerned.”

We were both silent for a while and Bulk nodded. “That bad?”

I huffed loudly and nodded, more to myself than him. “Such a selfish man, in and out of bed.” I told him with a sigh, “I don’t think I’ve had an orgasm for over nine years.”

Bulk’s eyebrows hit his hairline and I looked at him, well I tried, he was getting a little blurry.

“Good God, that’s terrible little lady.” He offered and I nodded at his sympathy.

“Isn’t it. There was only ever Ethan that could make me come.”

I squinted at Bulk then lifted my eyebrows. “Why the hell am I telling you this?” I chuckled, thinking it was funny that I was having such an intimate conversation with a man I’d only known for about four days.

“Because… I’m listening.” He proposed as he pointed a finger at me and I nodded in confirmation. “How long ago did things start going bad between you two?” he asked as he scrolled through his iPod and picked a different playlist to something more upbeat.

I let out a large scoff, “Eleven years ago.”

He stood up and stared at me in astonishment “Then why the hell are you still with him?”

I sighed heavily as my mood shifted swiftly and I sucked on my lips “It’s all a mess, Bulk.”

He gave me a pained look just as Twisted Sisters ‘We’re not gonna take it’ started to play. He grinned at me and I beamed at him.

He pulled me up and he turned me around so my back was to his front, took hold of my hands and lifted both our arms in the air and rested his chin on my shoulder as we both started rocking out.

“Oh, We're Not Gonna Take It

no, we ain't Gonna Take It

oh, we’re Not Gonna Take It Anymore

  Oh, you're so condescending

  your gall is never ending

  we don't want nothin',

  Not a thing from you.

Your life is trite and jaded

  boring and confiscated

if that's your best, your best won't do”

“This is your anthem, little lady.” Bulk shouted over the music as he took my hand and spun me across the room.

“Fuck, Yes!” I agreed tenaciously, “I want a divorce.” I pointed to the ceiling as if Kyle was upstairs and listening to me.

Bulk laughed and picked me up before spinning us both round and I winced in pain as he squeezed me hard.

“Ooh, sweetheart. Let me have a look and make sure nothings broken” he asked again, for the fourth time since we’d arrived at his house.

I rolled my eyes at his persistence “I’m fine, Bulk.”

He shook his head stubbornly, “No, Jen, You’re not.”

I huffed and pulled a face at him but grabbed the bottom of my shirt and lifted it over my head.

His eyes widened as I presented myself to him in just a white lace bra but it wasn’t my boobs he was staring at.

It was the multiple bruises and old scars that caught his attention. “Fuck, Christ baby.”

I stared at him as I wobbled and he put a hand on my arm to steady me as his fingers from his other hand stroked across a particular hefty bruise.

“Don’t Bulk” I whispered as shame coursed through me and tears threatened to fall.

He swallowed as he reared back and looked sadly at me. “Jen” he whispered back as he pulled me against him gently and held me.

I relished his embrace. I hadn’t been held tenderly for nine years and the emotion it initiated did produce the tears.

He held me as I cried, as I let it all out and wept for everything; for me, for my shit life, for all my weaknesses and for Ethan and what I had done to him.

“I never meant to hurt him, Bulk, ya’ know. I never wanted to hurt him. I did it to not hurt him but he… he called me a whore” I sobbed.

Bulk picked me up and sat us on the sofa, me on his lap as he wrapped me up and stroked my hair softly, “Shush, baby. He doesn’t think you’re a whore, he was just upset.”

I shook my head “No, Bulk. He hates me but he doesn’t understand. I didn’t have a choice…”

“You didn’t have a choice in what, sweetheart?” he asked softly as he twirled my hair in his fingers and it was so soothing I could feel my eyes droop.

  “He said… he…would… kill him…”

  And sleep finally found me.

  ***

Oh Good God, I had died and someone had brought me back from hell.

My head pounded, my stomach churned and my whole body ached but I risked opening my eyes, “Ow.”

My mouth was so dry and I made myself pull my poor body upwards to sit on the edge of the bed, my head in my hands then I realised this wasn’t my bed.

I looked around the room and was amazed to find it near sterile clean; everything was spotless and seemed to have its own place in a near militant precision.

The walls were a soft blue but the furnishings and décor were a vivid red with a small hint of black; very masculine but it also seemed to have a feminine touch and I smiled to myself when I saw the bedding had been ironed, the tell-tale creased fold in the duvet and the smoothness in the pillowcases giving away Bulk’s penchant for neat and orderly.

There was even a large vase full of lilies on a black smoked table and I noticed my clothes folded neatly on the small chair in the corner.

I gazed down at myself and found I now wore a large Iron Maiden t-shirt with, luckily, my underwear beneath it.

I sighed in appreciation when I glimpsed into a door and found an en-suite bathroom and my jaw dropped at the huge roll top bath. It was sheer beauty and luxury, with gold claw feet and moulded taps. Scattered around the room were huge church candles and small scented ones. The shelf was lined with many bath crèmes and luxury shower gels, and I sighed in appreciation when I spotted a sealed toothbrush and new tube of paste.

“I love you, Bulk.” I mumbled as I scoured the stale alcohol out of my mouth.

The bath retained my attention but I knew I needed coffee first so I went in search of the kitchen.

As I meandered along the huge landing, I could hear a shower running behind a door and presumed that was Bulk’s room. I was surprised he was up this early with rockers being known for their late starts and late finishes; it was after all only 6:30 but I presumed he liked to rise early to make a start on his obvious love of cleaning.

The house was immaculate as I made my way through the vastness of it in my hunt for the kitchen. Everything near sparkled and I was astonishe
d at the amount of decked vases on my way through, they were everywhere and filled with just about every flower available.

I found the large entrance hall and scanned the area with my eyes. I could make out the lounge to my left, a small door at the bottom of the stairs I presumed was a cloakroom, so I tried the door next to that and snorted when I found a gigantic room that looked like a recording studio. I quickly shut the door and carried on in my exploration.

After discovering a games room, a small study and a door to a lower level I found the kitchen… Woohoo!

Now I had the task of working the monstrous coffee machine, it was industrial in size and looked like you needed a degree to operate it.

“Okay, Jen” I said to myself as I peered at the many buttons and twisted my lips in confusion.

“Coffee beans first” I sighed as I looked at the thousand cupboards and played ‘eeny, meeny, miney, mo’ with them before I started rifling through each one for coffee.

I did grin wide however when I found a jar of instant and kissed it with relish as I filled the kettle and then started a new hunt for cups.

As I poured water into my cup I heard a door open behind me, “Sugar?” I asked Bulk as I poured water into the cup I had prepared for him.

“What the…” Ethan’s voice came from the rear of the room and I stilled immediately.

The air in the room seemed to disappear as I turned to face him, still stood in the doorway to the garden, his hand static on the handle as he stared at me.

His eyes swept down my body, taking in my near bare frame as his teeth sank into his bottom lip and his chest heaved wildly as I did a swift perusal of him for myself, taking in his jogging shorts and hooded sleeveless t-shirt.

Good God, he was hard and lean and so fucking breath-taking that I had to palm the counter to hold my weak body upright.

“Morning, little lady,” Bulk grinned as he strolled in the kitchen, not noticing a fuming Ethan “you sleep well?”

He frowned at me when I didn’t reply, my eyes still fastened on Ethan’s dark and angry ones. “You okay?” he asked in confusion.

I stood immobile and stunned as Ethan launched himself across the room and punched Bulk hard on the chin; Bulk went down, stunned and dazed as Ethan landed another fist in his face.

“What the hell?” Bulk choked out as he grabbed hold of Ethan they both took more hits on each other.

My mind suddenly told my brain what was happening and I rushed over to them and grabbed hold of Ethan’s arms. “STOP IT!” I yelled at him.

He halted but glared at me, “Nice, Jen, my brother not enough for you? You’re fucking my mates now!” he hissed at me.

  My eyes widened, “What? No!”

He stood up and shook his hand at the pain as his eyes roamed my body again before he lifted an eyebrow.

“Fuck, Boss. I’m not fucking her; she needed a place for the night, that’s all.” Bulk defended as he cracked his jaw back into place.

“Yeah, right.” Ethan scoffed and I glowered at him.

“It’s true. Bulk’s just a friend, that’s all. I didn’t bring any clothes, that’s why I’m wearing his shirt, not because we slept together.” I urged as I stared him down. “What the hell’s happened to you, Ethan? You were never like this. Where did you go?”

He remained silent and simmering as he debated my words and I shook my head at him and sighed. “You know what Ethan, you think I’m a whore anyway, so why I’m defending myself, I have no idea.” I snapped before I turned back to my cup, picked it up and took it back upstairs, now in desperate need of that bath that my body was shouting for.

  ***

“Oh God, yes” I murmured as I sank into the luxurious foam and silently reminded myself to compliment Bulk of his choice of bath products.

Sinking further, I rested my head on the rim of the tub and closed my eyes.

Kyle would have discovered the empty house by now and I dreaded to think what he was smashing up, hopefully his mother’s awful bloody mirror that hung above the fireplace. I hated that thing.

The only problem I had was… no clothes, no purse and no phone amongst other things I needed, and I didn’t know how I was going to get to them without a key.

I was going to have to face him.

  Oh the joy.

I must have dropped off to sleep because the water seemed cold all of a sudden. I climbed out, wrapped the towel around me and brushed my teeth again as the alcohol slime still refused to fade.

I stuttered to a halt as I walked back into the bedroom and found Ethan laid on the bed.

He leaned up on his elbows and looked at me as he sighed.

“Sorry” he said quietly and I frowned at him, “For what I said, yesterday and this morning. You know me, Jen; my mouth says things that aren’t even in my head.”

I didn’t reply as I just looked at him, looking at me and there it was, all of a sudden as my eyes drank him in; the lust, the desire, the damn arousal that was always ever present when Ethan was around and I gulped at the intensity of it, even after nine years.

His gaze dropped to the towel around me and I watched his throat bob slowly as his eyes darkened and his eyelids drooped.

“I… I better go.” He whispered as he climbed off the bed, but instead of walking towards the door he slowly stalked across the room to me.

He reached me, came within an inch of me as our eyes locked and I swallowed heavily when he traced a finger down my nose. “Why did you need a place to stay?” he asked quietly as his finger slowly swept across my bottom lip.

I didn’t answer, what could I say? I just remained mute and immobile as he continued to torture me with his finger as it now trailed down the centre of my throat and across my collar bone.

“So fucking beautiful,” he breathed and I closed my eyes in despair when his fingertip tracked across the edge of my towel “still so soft and perfect.”

I opened my eyes and looked up at him; his rugged beautiful face was full of pain and hurt and I palmed his cheek.

He leant into it, nuzzling against it as he continued to hold me hostage with his eyes. “I never meant to hurt you Ethan, I… he…” I gulped back the words, cursing myself at my weakness before I pulled my hand down and turned away.

“He what, Jen?” he asked but I shook my head.

“You better go, I need to get dressed.”

He lowered his face to me and rested his forehead against mine. “He – What - Jen?” he asked more firmly and I swallowed as an urge to kiss him flooded me and I fixed my gaze on his mouth so he couldn’t read my eyes.

“He nothing, Ethan, please just go.”

I lowered my eyes to his chest and watched the heavy rise and fall of it as I silently urged him to go before it got too hard to resist him.

“Turn around” he whispered in my ear and I lifted my eyes back up to his and frowned. “Turn around” he repeated with a slight nod of his head to encourage me.

I sucked in my lips as I did as he asked and turned around.

I jolted a little as he bunched my hair to one side and rested it over my shoulder before he settled his chin on my other shoulder with his mouth rested against my neck.

A small involuntary groan sounded from deep within me as he tenderly kissed the soft skin under my ear. “I remember everything Jen, still clear and fresh in my head. The way you quivered and moaned when I did this…” he breathed in my ear as he sucked in my flesh and bit it gently.

My body instinctively quivered as a faint moan left my lips.

I could feel his smile on my neck as I just proved him right.

“I remember the way you would gasp and your lip would tremble when I did this…” he whispered as he moved his mouth around to the nape of my neck and swept his tongue across it and yes, I gasped and bit my lip, just to stop it from juddering.

“And I remember the way you would blink at me with your beautiful wide eyes as I reached in to kiss you…”

I was spun so swiftly I ha
d to grab onto his forearms before he leaned in and took me under his mouth.

A choked sob erupted from me as his soft lips moved over mine and we relished in each other whilst his tongue explored me dominantly and expertly. I danced mine around his as I grabbed his hair and held him to me tightly as we continued to devour one another, both of us desperately clinging to each other with our mouths, our hands and our souls.

He eventually pulled away and circled the tip of his nose around mine. “If he’s hurting you, I’ll kill him” he said abruptly before he placed a chaste kiss on my lips and left.

  Chapter 8

“You sure you can do this?” I asked Bulk as we pulled up outside my house. He gave me a wide grin before extracting his long legs out of the car.

  “Jen, trust me.”

I pursed my lips but shrugged and followed him up the path, checking the garage for Kyle’s car as we passed.

“His car’s gone so he should have gone to work.” I told Bulk as he pulled something out of his pocket and gently inserted it into the keyhole.

Within a minute the door swung open and Bulk waggled his eyebrows at me. I wasn’t sure if I was impressed or stunned but I ventured in after him.

My breath caught when I took in the state of the house; it was trashed, absolutely, and Bulk hissed through his teeth. “I think he might be a bit pissed at you, little lady.” He stated as he shifted his eyes around the mess.

  “Mmmm.”

It wasn’t me I was worried about and my heart beat wildly at the thought.

“Better be quick” he said and I kicked myself into gear as I ran upstairs to pack.
