Seth let go of my hand, his face assuming a pleading expression.
“Alisha, please.”
He didn’t have to ask me twice. Truth be told, I’d be wanting to do this since the first time I’d laid eyes on my sexy boss. So, down to his groin my kisses went. First, they teased him, sucking and licking all around the hard waiting rod. In the crease of his leg where it met his groin, on each of his balls, between his sack and his dick. All the while, his cock waited there impatiently, its hardness nudging my cheek. Until Seth couldn’t take it anymore.
“Alisha, for the love of God—”
He didn’t get to finish the sentence because the next second my lips were locked around his cock. His bulk filled my mouth completely, and sated, I let out an exhalation before I moved on. My gaze met his, and I could see that he was entranced as I licked the head of his dick, much like it was my favorite ice cream cone, around and around it, sucking it softly. Then, in one mighty gulp, I swallowed it down until it hit the back of my throat. His dick twitched with pleasure, and I repeated the motion.
“Fuck,” Seth groaned, “How can you even—”
Once again, he was rendered speechless as I upped my pace, sucking harder and deeper. When I added my hand to the mix, as part of the pumping, pulsing, and sucking action I had going, his legs started to shake. He was close, but I wasn’t finished with sucking Seth off just yet. I angled my head sideways as I continued my head bobbing, so that the tip of his dick dug into one cheek and then the other. I slipped it out and, aroused by the rock-hard glistening thing, I batted it against my cheek playfully. I moved forward and rubbed my breasts against it, the interplay of hard and soft making us both groan with pleasure.
A glance up at Seth got me even wetter. His lips were parted, his eyes half-lidded. He wasn’t just enjoying the show of me sucking his dick; he was fucking enthralled by it.
I kept my gaze locked on his as I returned my lips to the hard pole that was waiting for me. Now, I gulped it down with gusto, joining my hand in the eager pumping dance that was going to find its finish. Seth’s legs were shaking once more, and groans were escaping his lips. I pumped him on and on, sucking harder and faster each time.
“Oh baby,” Seth groaned, and I gulped his dick down as far as it would go.
As the tip dug into the back of my throat, he lost it.
With a breathless “Fuuuuuuuuck,” he emptied himself down my throat, hot spurt after spurt.
Once he was finished, we grudgingly separated and flopped back on the bed. In the dark, I felt around for the Kleenex box, handed him one, and used another to wipe off my mouth. I returned the box to its place; then our bodies found each other. God, he was so comfortable, the way he wrapped me in his arms. It felt like I could lie here forever.
A gnawing worry at the back of my mind reminded me that I couldn’t fall asleep here. That we should stop now. That I should go back. But having Seth’s girth in my mouth had just made me wetter. Right now, being in his arms like this as he spooned me, it felt too good to leave. Once again, our fingers slid over each other, as if we couldn’t get enough. Over and around, up and down, they went.
Gradually, Seth’s fingers grew more adventurous, their caressing extended out further until soon, they were sliding over every part of me, head to foot. From face to neck to shoulder to breast to waist to side to hip to thigh to knee to lower leg to ankle to foot. This he did slowly, tantalizingly, as if he wanted to savor every second of it and feel every part of me. My body shook as his skillful hands swirled over me. I was shaking over what he was doing and what I knew he was going to do. The strokes slowed and deepened as he neared my pussy. When his fingers finally slipped in, I groaned. With one finger, he mashed my clit, while the other fingered me. Nonsensical syllables of pleasure mumbled out of my lips.
“What’s that?” Seth asked, “You want more?”
The next second, his pace had amped, and I was twisting with the dual sensations, but still, Seth was not satisfied.
“More?” he said.
Now my whole body was one throbbing lump of pleasure. My request for more was part-groan, part-beg, part-cry, and once he’d slipped on a condom, Seth responded eagerly. Slamming his finger into me as fast and hard, he got me so close, and at the last second, he replaced it with what I really wanted—his rock-hard dick.
“Oh fuck, yes!” I cried.
Seth slowed his pace, enjoying my obvious pleasure.
“I love it when you swear. Do it again.”
As he thrust himself into me, slow and hard, it was almost unbearable.
“Seth, please,” I moaned.
“Swear it at me,” he commanded, slowing his pace even more.
The cry fell out of my lips angrily, “Seth, damn it, fuck me—please—fuck me more!”
Now he was kissing moans out of my mouth and mashing groans down my throat with his tongue. I was utterly filled with him, his scent in my nostrils, his tongue down my throat, his dick in my pussy. All the while, that onward thrust, the commanding beat had me twisting and seeing light. I was on the edge, and Seth knew it.
“You want me to do it?” he said casually.
He ground his hips into mine, keeping his dick at just the pace to have me unbearably on the edge and have me clasping at him desperately.
Our heavy breaths filled the room. All I could hear was that and my own thoughts wailing. More, more, more, more.
“Please,” was all I could gasp, clasping at the hardness desperately.
He leaned in, kissed me, ground himself into me as deep and far as he could, and jerked into motion. His dick was as good as a jackhammer as it shook into me, as fast and hard and deep as I could’ve wanted—better, even.
“Seth!” I cried.
“Alisha!” he roared back.
Now, I wasn’t just seeing colors, I was feeling them. Red-hot pleasure was overtaking my body one rapid thrust at a time. Both of us were locked into the rhythm, the groaned-out dance that could only go onward. Onward, more and more, MORE and MORE! And still, on Seth thrust, over and over again, both of our bodies now one. And it was as one that we came, the orgasm crashing over us, swallowing us entirely, choking us with the pleasure, the glory, the motherfucking nirvana of it. One body, one glory, one orgasm, together.
Chapter 27
Seth
Fuck yes!!! This pleasure, this feeling, this fucking glory of a feeling. Like my nerves have exploded and pleasure has erupted over me. Like I’ve died and gone to heaven.
Still connected, we flopped back onto the bed and, curling up in each other, fell fast asleep.
I awoke cold. My outstretched hand felt the spot beside me; then I sat up. Alisha was gone.
Flopping back onto the bed, I cocooned myself in the blankets. That warmed me up but didn’t do much for my disappointment. Sure, it only made sense that Alisha had to go back to her room, but still. I’d liked how she felt in my arms. Loved it. So soft and warm, so right. Somehow, as stupid and impossible as it had been, I’d wanted her to stay the night in my bed.
I rolled to the other side of the pillow. As I drifted off, my final sleepy thought was that maybe someday soon, she could spend the night in my arms.
The next time I woke up, a glance at the electronic clock on the bedside table revealed that it was 6 a.m. Great, last night I had stayed up until probably at least 1 a.m., and this morning I’d still woken up at my regular time. I forced myself into an upright position. Tired or not, I had a big day ahead of me. As soon as my foot hit the cool hardwood floor, my stomach let out an angry yowl. My gaze went to the room service phone in the corner of the room. I grinned. Speaking of food.
It took less than twenty minutes for the room service attendant to deliver the elaborate breakfast I’d ordered. After thanking him and casting an eager look at the gold-tipped plates heaped with steaming scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, juicy sausages, golden hash browns and fat slices of toast, I rolled the cart out into the shared room of our suite. There was nobody ther
e, so I wheeled it to Alisha’s bedroom door and knocked.
“Room service.”
“We didn’t order any—” Alisha began as she opened the door.
Her delighted gaze went from me to the breakfast spread and back to me again. Her face broke into a wide smile. Her blond hair was gathered in a soft ponytail, a style I’d never seen before, while her curves were covered in another dress, a flowy blue one I hadn’t noticed she picked up. She looked gorgeous.
“You didn’t!”
I made my face assume a serious expression. I pulled the cart back a few paces.
“You’re right; I didn’t.”
“Hey!” Alisha cried as I grinned back at her.
“Is that breakfast?” Christian called from inside the room.
“You bet it is!” I called back.
Nana and Christian were equally delighted to see the feast I’d brought.
It didn’t take long for us to set up the platters of food on the table, and we all set down and devoured the delicious food. Each bite was yummier than the last, although I hardly noticed. Every few minutes, my eyes were drawn irresistibly to Alisha, who was actually eating with a smile. One that only lit up more when I caught her eye.
Under the table, I impulsively took her free hand, and she let me. I played with those soft, small fingers of hers. The eating and casual table-chat was as good as background noise. The touch and entwining of our fingers was the whole world to me.
I ate until the mutinous grumbling of my stomach had settled into a satiated silence. Then, I sat there on that cushioned red seat, taking in the scene. Christian and Nana, squabbling over the last sausage. Alisha, beaming at me and caressing my fingers under the table. Was this what having a family was like?
I swallowed and swallowed again. There was a lump in my throat, but swallowing had done nothing to dislodge it. This feeling, here and now, it was weird. Good, but weird. There was something off, but I couldn’t put my finger on it.
When everyone finally got up from the table and left to their rooms to get ready, I did the same. Only once I was sitting on my bed, alone, did relief wash over me. It had started to feel stuffy in there, as spacious and well-designed the main suite room had been.
Everyone took longer to get ready than I expected, although I hardly minded. It gave me time to think, to try to quiet the fluttering tension of my concerns.
Alisha’s presence clouded my mind and overtook my thoughts. But now, alone, I could think clearly for the first time. I looked at my phone and stared at the barrage of messages; many about the acquisition I’d basically forgotten about over the past twenty-four hours. I stared at the list of messages that seemed endless, the little black letters burning into my retinas the longer I stared.
This trip, these past few days—what the fuck was going on? Playing house with an employee, one with a kid, really? What was I thinking?
The answer came back simple, stupid, and true—I was doing what made me happy. I hadn’t been thinking of any of this critically; if I had, I sure as hell wouldn’t have done half of it. It had just happened naturally, like falling asleep once you lay in bed at night and close your eyes. One thing had followed another—I liked Alisha, I would do anything to spend time with her—so I did. Her family was fun, I liked them—so I spent money on them. But now, sitting here with my full phone and fumbling acquisition staring me in the face, my weekend of fun didn’t seem so innocent. I liked Alisha and I liked her family; there was no doubt about that. But if I kept this up, then there’d be no acquisition—and no Alisha after. How were we supposed to work together as professionals after this?
My decision made, I rose, got up and strode to the door. Opening it, brought me face to face with Alisha. She looked as happy as ever, like she had no clue what I was about to do. I gulped. Better get this over with.
“Alisha, I—”
“You’ll go on Drop Zone with us, right?”
At the sight of Christian’s bright-eyed, grinning face, my heart sank.
“Sure, bud,” I said.
I let Alisha’s hand take mine, ignoring the currents of satisfaction it sent through me. One day. I’d promised Alisha and her family that, so it was only fair that I kept my word. Sure, it would be hard, waking up from this dream later tonight, but I’d do it. I’d forget what I had to do for a few more hours, let myself enjoy today for what it was—a nice diversion. One more day of this, and that was it.
Back at the park, Christian set to work leading us to every ride we’d missed the first time. First, and not least, was Drop Zone. Nana unsurprisingly sat out, this time armed with a Dostoevsky book and a pair of rhinestone-embellished readers.
“You all have fun!” she said, gaily waving her hardcover book.
Alisha and I could only manage a grim smile at each other. Truth be told, I was terrified of heights, though I wasn’t about to admit that to her.
“It’s gonna be so cool!” Christian crowed as we made our way up to the ticket attendant. Seeing that it was the same pigtailed girl as yesterday, Alisha’s face fell.
As the pretty teen let Christian in, she fixed her now blue-rimmed eyes on him with a significant smile.
Alisha hurried Christian through, a dark scowl clouding her face.
“Don’t worry,” I said, in an unconvincing voice.
Catching my terrified look, Alisha said, “No, you don’t worry.” When I said nothing, leaning in, she whispered, “Seth, are you afraid of heights?”
My gaze still enraptured by the insanely high platform that was descending for us to get on, I could only manage a half-hearted shake of my head.
“Not exactly.”
Alisha gave me a sympathetic pat.
“It won’t be that bad; you work high-up in a skyscraper, remember?”
I scowled, ripping my gaze off the red and black striped platform of seats. “Just forget about it, okay?”
“C’mon guys!”
By now, the ride was settled on the ground. Christian dashed over and got inside. The girl came over to check that our handlebars were in place before she went over and started the ride. Behind me, I could hear the ride creaking to motion as we rose. Already, my breath was coming out in gasps, my heartbeat hammering in my head. How often did these things break down? Was there any chance of surviving if they did?
“Hey, it’s okay,” Alisha said, as she squeezed my hand. Her eyes were kind, understanding.
Now we were nearly at the top of the ride. I kept my gaze straight ahead, refusing to look down at the view that was shrinking away by the second. I shouldn’t be up here.
Another hand squeeze. It was as we reached the top that it occurred to me. It wasn’t a faked or false sympathy in those wide-set eyes of hers. It wasn’t a demanding kind of attention that required monetary compensation or even time. It was just genuine affection. Liking me for me.
Behind her lit-up face, I saw a sunny blue sky, some cheerful poofs of clouds—and then we dropped.
My yell joined Alisha and Christian’s—the sound ripped out of me as we hurtled downwards. And, as fear ripped through my body, something else did too. Calm acceptance. That if I was going to die, doing so with these people wasn’t a bad way to do it.
When the ride finally hit bottom, we didn’t die. The breath had been taken out of me entirely, but I was okay. With wobbly legs and Alisha’s firm hand in mine, I made it out of there.
“Were you afraid?” Christian asked as soon as we were out.
“No, I—” Seeing his skeptical look, I gave him a sheepish smile. “God, I was pretty much scared out of my mind.”
“Then why’d you come?”
Under that familiar inquisitive green-eyed stare, I found myself momentary speechless.
I looked from Alisha, whose hand was still in mine, to Christian, who looked winded but ecstatic.
“Sometimes when you’re afraid, that’s the thing you have to do most.”
Christian nodded slowly, then shrugged, hurrying off to Nana. Al
isha squeezed my hand, shooting me a gently chiding smile.
“Thanks, Buddha; was that really for you or aimed at me?”
I was smiling so much, it was starting to hurt my face.
“Both.”
Now Alisha was the one with the skeptical expression. “Oh, please, I’ve seen you. Other than today, you’re not afraid of anything.”
“That’s not true.”
“Oh, come on now.”
Her look was still playful and smiling, but my smile had fallen. I stopped and dropped her hand.
“We better catch up with them.”
As I passed her, I caught sight of the disappointed downward turn of her lips, but I didn’t pause. This was no time for heart-to-heart conversations, and I wasn’t in the mood anyway.
Nana was right where we’d left her; the only difference was that she was a few pages further in her book. So, Christian led the way to the next ride, which was another rollercoaster.
The rest of the day passed much the same, Alisha and I joining Christian on his rides, all of us heading to the same diner to grab lunch. It seemed like an odd sort of deja-vu, a repeat of yesterday, except that I knew the ending this time. As we walked around today, Alisha held my hand too. With her warm little fingers tucked in mine, it felt reassuring, right. If only I could kick this odd swirling feeling in my gut.
Chapter 28
Alisha
Could today get any better? This whole weekend had been one breathless marathon of activity. And all of it with Seth by my side. Just like now.
I glanced over at him affectionately, but his head was fixed ahead, focused on the highway he drove.
It was no wonder he had to concentrate so hard to stay focused since the SUV was filled with the sound of “All You Need is Love,” which Nana and Christian were singing along to at the top of their lungs. I joined in for the chorus, as well. A glance to my left revealed that Seth was only pretending to sing, by moving his lips and bobbing his head, while his voice remained silent and his face otherwise immobile.
I gave him a playful nudge in the side.
