He still won’t blame you because he’ll never have it in him to understand your powers, even when he finally tries to respond and realizes you’re not there, because you won’t be there anymore, and neither will he or the living room or the notebook. You’ll finally be where you wanted, call it what you will. No more brothers, no more dads, no more rocks, no more thoughts, no more words.
