A Kept Woman

Derek’s face lit up as he pointed at Arianne. “That’s what I was talking about. You evolved! Right before my eyes. You started this whole thing so submissively, but that wasn’t the real you. You assumed that role to get what you wanted…what you needed. A lioness sneaks through the grass to get her prey and then she pounces. Gawd, Randolph does she pounce.” He ran his fingers through his hair. “She almost killed me. Screwed me to death. It was incredible. I’m getting hard just thinking about it.” He pulled her close and kissed her. “You were incredible and I’d have told you if we hadn’t both passed out. You are so beautiful and I love you so much.”
Arianne reached up and whispered in his ear.
Derek laughed. “But that would be so cruel.”
She crossed the floor and picked up a small paddle then handed it to Derek. “Please, spank me. Turn my cheeks bright pink.” Stepping in front of Randolph and bending low so she was face to face she waited for Derek to begin. “This is the last lesson you must learn Randolph. To dominate someone, you must actually possess power. Derek has that innately in him and I willingly submit. I have the same power in me and Derek submits to my desires. Pain can be erotic Randolph, but there are levels. You hurt me. Derek will drive me crazy and then I will pleasure him. Twenty-five strokes please Derek.”
Bent over, her breasts hung freely before Randolph. She locked her eyes onto his. “One.” The sound of the smack was audible to the room.
A voice from the side counted, “Two.” With each stroke the voyeurs mumbled the count in a monotone. At the twentieth stroke she almost begged him to stop, but she refused to admit defeat before the humbled Randolph. At the last stroke she turned and unzipped Derek’s pants. Her bright pink cheeks were mere inches away from Randolph.
Derek tried to push her away.
“No, let me. I have to do this. I understand what you meant by equal. You wanted to pleasure me for the supreme joy of making me happy. About when I started feeling that way toward you, not caring to trap you, but simply to satisfy you, we then became equals. You spanked me. You aroused me. Now, I wish to satisfy you.” She slipped her lips over his swelling penis. Unable to watch his prize suck Derek’s cock, Randolph closed his eyes and hung his head in absolute defeat. Adrianne hoped he listened to the sounds of her mouth on Derek and the pleasurable sighs it caused—then heard the rustle of pants and heard her moan as Derek slipped his swollen cock into her wet and eager pussy.
Their kisses and frantic sighs surly filled his ears as they neared the moment that they craved. She screamed first. His prize had given herself, again to Derek. He did not raise his head and with him still trussed-up, they left. Perhaps one of the spectators would release him.

Sitting in a beach side bar, munching on a hamburger and fries Derek paused long enough to say, “Can I ask why?”
“He tried to hurt me. I know people live that lifestyle and are committed to it. But he used it as a power game to attempt to satisfy his sexual inadequacies.”
Derek choked on his beer. “I’m almost afraid to ask.”
“Don’t worry. Your only sexual inadequacy is having to stop to eat and sleep. And since I have the same basic flaw, I forgive you.”
He tilted his beer toward her in a salute. “Most generous of you. Now can you explain about the beach?”
Arianne felt the heat of the blush on her cheeks. “I don’t know what possessed me. It was like a demon took over my body. I was totally out of control.” She dipped her french fry in the ketchup and bit it.
Derek licked a spot of ketchup off her lip. “You have my absolute permission to lose control whenever you want.”
“At the moment I feel sort of embarrassed for what I did. You were agony.”
“You drove me right to the edge, let me slip just over it, then stopped me. I thought I was going to explode. If I could think of a word beyond incredible, I’d tell you.”
“Yea, but, I mean, well we can’t keep that up for the rest of our sex life. And if it isn’t like that then you’ll get bored.”
“I will never get bored with you, Arianne. I don’t love you because of the sex. I love everything about you.”
“You don’t know anything about me.”
“Then talk to me. Tell me everything. Tell me about your friends and lovers. Do you want babies? What’s your favorite book?”
Arianne finished her french fries and led Derek to a log on the beach. He leaned back on it and rested Arianne between his legs then he wrapped his arms around her and they talked until the sun came up.
“On my first day here I watched a sunset. Today I have seen a sunrise. It’s time to go back home, Derek. I want to tell the world about us.”
Chapter Sixteen
“Excuse me, Mr. Davenport.”
He looked up at the flight attendant.
“We’ll be landing in about ten minutes. The car you requested will be waiting.”
“Thank-you Hali. No, don’t wake her.” Arianne’s head rested on his shoulder. “Her seat belt is still fastened.” Derek smiled to himself. A luxurious private jet with every accommodation imaginable and they sat side by side like tourists on a commercial flight. Derek glanced out the window. The ground was green with the first blush of spring. A contented sigh escaped him. It had been a good vacation. He had come to terms with several elements of his life. He almost felt as tired now as when he first arrived on the island. But this was a satisfying sensation, not a mind numbing stressed out exhaustion. There had been very little sleep last night. Plenty of talk and a satiating amount of lovemaking filled their night. In that time, he learned all that he needed to know. Leaning over, he kissed the top of her head.
“Hmmm?” Arianne yawned and opened her eyes. “Are we there?”
“Almost. The plane’s lined up with the runway. How far from the airport is your parent’s place?” he asked.
“Beaver Creek is about twenty-five minutes north.”
“I don’t think I’ve been this far north in the state.”
“Well, you’ve left the big city.” Smiling, Arianne continued, “There is no subway system, no multi-lane, multi-level freeway. Actually the town has three stop lights.” Derek held up three fingers and Arianne nodded. “Yup, that’s all. The tallest building is the church and that’s because of the steeple. The total population is around fifteen thousand.”
“Okay, I get the picture. Are we going to tell your parents who I am? Right away, I mean.”
“Guess we sort of have to. But break it to them gently, please. Finding out your daughter is about to marry a billionaire is going to be a bit unsettling. Mom will be worried because nothing in the house will be good enough for you. Dad won’t know what to say to you.”
“He’s a principal at the local middle school. Your mother’s a librarian. Two of your brothers, Steven and Casey, are police officers and the third, Terry, is in college.”
“You paid attention.” She peered out the window. “We’ve landed. The snow is all gone.”
“Is there a hotel? In case your parents don’t want to fly back.”
“No hotels. There’s a bed and breakfast but it’s off-season. They have to fly back. My bed isn’t big enough for us to share. What was that grin for?”
“If your bed is too small, I’ll have to sleep very, very close to you.”
Arianne’s cheeks blushed bright red. “I’ve never…I mean—”
“First time for everything.” The plane braked and the attendant opened the door. Derek unclicked his seatbelt, stood and stretched. Arianne followed him out of the plane, smiling at Hali as she passed her. When they reached the bottom steps a rental car drove up. The driver offered the keys to Derek. “I have no idea where I am or where I am going. The keys go to the lady.”
As Arianne drove home, she chatted about the places where she grew up--her old high school and the spot where Mike Tolbin gave her that important first kiss. “I know I’ve been talking a mile a minute here, but you seem pretty quiet.”
> “Just watching the scenery and absorbing what you are saying. I should make a point of thanking Mike for teaching you how to kiss. He did a good job. I do have a question. Are we going to stick to the story of how we met? The one where you rescued me in the coffee shop.”
“Yea, that’s probably our safest bet. Ta da.” The car crested a small hill. Spread out before them was a typical upstate, small town. “Home. Directions to house, down Main Street—”
“Does every small town have a Main Street?”
“And a Church Street. Turn left at the post office. Big white house at the end of the block. Pull in drive way, run into house and yell, `I’m home!’”
“How about I walk in quietly behind you.”
Arianne pulled into the driveway and shut off the engine. “Why Mr. Davenport, I do believe you are nervous.”
“No, I’m just out of my element.”
“Mom and Dad are good people. Be yourself and they’ll love you. Come on.” Before Arianne has crossed the lawn, her parents stood on the porch waiting.
Derek held back while she greeted her parents with hugs and kisses. He glanced at Arianne’s neighborhood, well-kept homes on tree lined streets. The trees were beginning to show their leaves and bright red tulips filled the flowerbeds. Across the street three young boys and a dog played street hockey. “Derek.” He turned his attention back to Arianne and mounted the stairs. “Mom, Dad, this is Derek Davenport.”
Derek thrust out his hand. “Nice to meet you Mr…”
“Ron, just call me Ron. I try and keep my formal title just for work. To the rest of the world I’m Ron.
“Ron it is then.”
“And I am Kathy and I don’t shake hands.” She wrapped Derek up in a welcoming embrace. “Nice to meet you, Derek. We’ve heard so little about you.”
Derek chuckled as he followed Arianne and her parents into the house. “You have a beautiful home, Mrs…uh, Kathy.”
“Thank-you.” Arianne’s mother sat and indicated the couch on the opposite side of the coffee table. Derek waited until Arianne had settled herself then sat.
“You both have lovely tans,” said Kathy.
“Yes, we just got back from the islands. We haven’t even been home yet,” said Arianne.
”Good heavens, then you must be tired and hungry. Would you like a cup of coffee?”
“How about a beer?” asked Ron. “Much more soothing on the day you meet the girlfriend’s parents.”
“Beer would be great. Thank-you,” said Derek. “Yes, I don’t think my nerves need any caffeine at the moment.”
“So you are nervous,” whispered Arianne.
Derek spoke under his breath, “No, uncomfortable. Every other woman I’ve dated I knew the parents. I had probably worked with or bought out her father.”
Kathy rose and headed toward the kitchen. “I’ll bring the drinks in a moment,” said Kathy.
“I’ll help.” Arianne whispered, “I’ll tell her and you tell Dad,” before following her mother.
“Derek, what do you do?”
“I’m in business. And this would be easier to explain if you understood. This isn’t just a social call. I wish to marry your daughter, but first I have to ask for your permission. Obviously, the problem is I’m an unknown element here. So I’ll take a brief moment to give you a resume.”
“Your beers, gentlemen. It’s going to take the kettle a bit to boil and I thought you might like your drinks now.” Kathy offered Derek a beer and a glass.
He shook his head. “No thank you, bottle’s fine.”
Ron stood and headed for the door. “Derek and I are going out for a walk around the block. He’s a bit cramped from flying.” Derek grabbed his beer and followed Arianne’s father out the door and down the stairs.
Ron turned to the right and began walking. “You have caught me off guard. Arianne has told us nothing about you. And I never expected any young man to ask for permission to marry my daughter.”
Derek touched Ron’s arm and they both stopped walking. Ron turned to face him. “Let me start at the beginning. Again, my name is Derek Davenport. I am the CEO of Davenport Enterprises. Corporate earnings last year were in excess of fifty billion dollars. I graduated Harvard School of Business. I was second in my class. My father was about to sell the company and I bought it out from under him.”
“You’re that Derek Davenport! You were on the cover of—”
“On the cover of too many financial magazines to name. It is one of the more embarrassing elements of my life. I sponsor numerous charities and I don’t have a police record. I’ve never gotten a speeding ticket. What Arianne and I would like to do is to fly you and Kathy back so you can visit my world and understand that I am who I say I am. As to my loving your daughter, I do not have the faintest idea how to go about proving to you that I love her. I have dated some of the richest and the most beautiful women in the world, but all of them pale in comparison to Arianne. I tried to ignore her because she won’t fit into my world but—“ He rubbed his forehead. “There’s no ignoring your daughter.”
They walked back up the stairs and entered the house. Kathy and Arianne sat in the living room. Kathy jumped up and escorted her husband into the kitchen. “So?” asked Arianne. “How did it go?”
“I’m not sure. I told him why we were here and who I am and he seemed to understand…accept it. I mentioned we wanted to fly them back.”
“I told Mom the same thing.”
Ron and Kathy came back into the room. “Excuse us, when would you like us to fly back with you?” asked Kathy.
Derek looked at his watch. “If we left in an hour, we’d be home by nine. Today being Friday, that leaves all day Saturday then we can fly you back Sunday and you can be home by supper time.”
“I’ll call Casey and ask him to look after the place,” said Kathy. “And we don’t need to pack all that much. I guess we can do it.”
“Pack something dressy,” said Arianne. “I’ll talk Derek into taking us somewhere really ritzy.”
Derek chuckled and nodded his head. “May I use your telephone? My mother took my cell phone and I need to call the pilot and tell him to prepare the plane. We weren’t sure when and if you’d be flying back with us, so my flight crew is on hold.”
“Your mother took your cell phone?” asked Kathy.
“I was a bit stressed out. She arrived in my office, told me to go get lost in the islands, demanded my cell phone then kicked me out of my office.”
“I like your mother,” said Kathy.
“Can I interrupt here? Your flight crew?” asked Ron.
“Yes, I have my own plane. You’ll be flying back on my private jet.”
Kathy and Ron passed silent glances between them. “The telephone is over here. We’ll go pack.”
* * * *
With nervous excitement, Kathy pulled her husband into the bedroom and shut the door. “Well? What did he say to you?”
“He’s head of Davenport Enterprises. The guy is worth a fortune!”
She pulled open a drawer, shut it and turned around. “What do I need to pack? I have nothing. What should I wear?”
Ron sat on the edge of their bed and grabbed his wife’s hand as she scurried past. “Take a moment. Breathe. He said he wants to marry Arianne.”
She jumped up and began restlessly wandering around the room. “She told me that too. But how do we know he’s who I he says he is? I mean, I’ve heard of people who lure unsuspecting women into traps. Do you think he really loves her?”
Ron paused for a moment and thought about Derek’s explanation. “Yes, he loves her. And from the way she’s been acting, our daughter is in love with him.”
Kathy stopped pacing. She put her hand to her mouth. “Our daughter is getting married.”
“To a billionaire.”
“To a billionaire! I have nothing to wear.”
Shaking his head and chuckling to himself, Ron opened their closet and pulled out two suitcases. “I figure
we’ll need both suitcases, so you can pack everything you own?”
Shaking her finger at him, Kathy laughed. “I’ll ignore the sarcasm and yes I’ll need my own suitcase. I’ll take my best heels and…my blue dress or my red…I’ll bring both.” She pulled open drawers and tossed clothing items into two piles - unacceptable or packable.
When Ron finished packing he sat back on the bed and watched his wife. “He said he wants to show us how he lives. To prove he’s really CEO of Davenport Enterprises.”
Her frantic pace had slowed as she neared the end of her packing. “He’s the boss? But he’s so young.”
“He bought his father’s company. I say, we go with an open mind and let this young man prove himself. I trust Arianne’s instincts.”
Kathy kissed her husband’s cheek. “So do I. I’m all packed. Let’s go get acquainted with our future son-in-law.”

When Derek had finished his conversation with his pilot, he collapsed on the couch next to Arianne. “Bringing you home and meeting your parents has been harder than a sneak-attack takeover bid.”
“You need a kiss.” She reached over and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
“Oh, I need way more than that.” He pulled her close. “It’s been…at least fifteen hours since I made love to you. That’s way too long.”
“My parents like you.”
“That’s not what we were talking about.”
Her cheeks turned bright pink. “I can’t talk about sex in my parent’s house.”
“I don’t want to talk about it. I want to toss you on the carpet and—”
“I think we’re both packed. Ron will be down in a moment with the suitcases. Casey is going to stop by this evening and check everything. I called Sarah and Tim—those are our neighbors—so they know to keep an eye on the place. I guess we’re ready.” Kathy fussed about the living room straightening things that didn’t need any attention.
“The plane is waiting for us,” said Derek.
Ron placed the luggage by the front door, then said, “I’ll do a quick once around to see if there is anything we haven’t done. You know, check the iron and turn off all the lights.”
