When Bae's a Boss 2

by Lucinda John

I’ve always loved Tiny, sometimes more than I did my wife; however, there was no way with a wife like mine we were going to be together. Seeing her again that day triggered my infatuation with her. I knew then I had to sample that pussy a few times after putting her boyfriend and his brothers behind bars. I was going to use our son like I always did to get what I wanted.

Grabbing the pill bottle, I twisted off the cap and threw two pills in my mouth. The bullet wounds I suffered in my arms and stomach were both on fire, leaving me in antagonizing pain. Just as I was about to recline the chair I was sitting in and get a much-needed nap, my phone started to ring.

  “Hello?” I answered.

“Oh, you’re alive,” the evil bitch on the other line chuckled.

“What do you want?” I asked.

“When you come for my husband, come correct. The fact that you wear blue doesn’t mean you’re safe.”

“Macy, unless you have any information that can help me, I suggest you shut the fuck up and get off my line,” I snapped.

“Down, boy,” she purred. “I see I’m going to have to write everything down for you since you’re unable to do things on your own.”

  “Bye.”

“WAIT!” she said, stopping me from hanging up the phone.

“What do you want?” I asked.

“Come see me once you’ve recovered. I have some valuable information for you.”

“Why can’t you tell me now, man? Why are you playing games?!”

“Hmm… Like I said, hit me up when you’re no longer a cripple,” she said before hanging up the phone.

“Dumb bitch,” I snapped before tossing my phone to the side.

  Ramsey

“Y’all acting like a nigga can’t do shit,” I snapped, as I sat up in bed.

It’s been two weeks since I’ve been released from the hospital and I was sick of motherfuckers acting like I couldn’t shit and wipe my ass on my own.

“Watch your mouth!” my mother snapped, placing a tray of soup in front of me.

“Sorry, Ma. But come on, I’m good. I’m ready to hit the shop and buy me another bike.”

“Oh, hell no! Your ass ain’t riding no more damn bikes!” my mother yelled.

  “Ma, I’m grown.”

“That’s fine, and I’ll still get in that ass. Try me,” she challenged.

“Iight, gangster. Let me holla at my brother real quick,” Mayhem said, saving me from my mother’s wrath.

“Ummhmm, talk to his hard headed ass, Maleek, since you’re the only child I got with sense,” she said, causing me to laugh.

“Damn, I’m ready to take my ass home,” I fussed the moment my mother left the room.

“Ma just being her,” Maleek laughed.

“Shit. I can’t do nothing with her ass around. I tried to jack my dick and her ass bust in the room talking about I need to put my dick away and get some rest. Then she had the nerve to sit in the room and watch her stories. I had to fake like I was sleep so her ass could leave. Got me dying with blue balls and shit,” I vented, causing my brothers to fall out laughing.

“Yo’, I want to holla at you about that night the accident happened. Yo’ memory good now?” Mayhem asked.

“Yeah, nigga, I remember. I was riding my fucking bike and some motherfucker hit me. I was good until the masked motherfucker came and lit me up, man. TK got family gunning for us,” I said, recalling the events of that night.

  “You sure?” Mayhem asked.

“Yes. Pussy nigga said, ‘This for TK’. Yeah, I remember that shit.”

“Fuck! I gotta get Diego on this shit,” Mayhem snapped.

“Diego handling the other situation,” Maleek said.

“Fuck Diego, let’s handle this shit ourselves,” I replied, ready for war.

“Your ass needs to sit down and chill for a while,” Maleek said.

“I’m gucci man. Let’s do this shit,” I snapped.

“Let us get some information before we move. We don’t know who this motherfucker is, so we need you laying low before he realizes you ain’t die and he comes to finish you off,” Maleek said.

“I stay strapped, fuck you mean,” I replied.

“If that was the case, why you ain’t at least put one in that nigga?” Mayhem smart mouth ass asked.

“Pussy nigga caught me off guard with that shit,” I shot back.

“Yeah, ok. Lay low for another week, get your weight up, then I’ll fuck witcha. Until then, lay yo’ ass the fuck down,” Mayhem ordered.

“Who the fuck you think you is ordering me around?” I asked, getting mad.

“Your motherfucking boss, nigga. You work for me so sitcho ass down and calm the fuck down!” Mayhem spat.

“You got that, pussy. Bet yo’ ass won’t fade up tho’,” I challenged.

“Get better; I’ll beat yo’ ass then. Now shut the fuck up and get back to jacking yo’ little ass dick.” Mayhem chuckled before pulling me into a brotherly embrace.

“I’m out, too. Joie got some wedding shit she wants to go over,” Maleek said.

“How long does it fucking take to plan a damn wedding?” I asked.

  “Women,” Maleek chuckled.

We chopped it up for a few more minutes, cracking jokes and shit before my brothers left. I wasn’t going to lie. That night this shit happened I thought I was gone. The moment I got to the white gates, my ass was denied access. Had me thinking I was going to hell and shit. The fact that I had another chance at life had me thinking long and hard about my relationship with Emma.

Even though she would swing by and make sure I was ok, her ass wasn’t fucking with me like that. She would always come by, drop off food, talk to my mother and leave. Every time I tried to get her ass to talk to me, she would blow me off.

As if God was reading my thoughts, I heard footsteps coming towards the room. I looked up and Emma was standing there looking sexy as fuck in her work uniform. I hated when she wore that shit because those pants displayed her fat ass and pussy print. She was prancing around all them niggas in that tight ass uniform, showing off all my goods, making my ass go crazy.

“Ay, Emma, come here,” I said before she could walk out the room.

“What Ramsey?” she asked, still standing in the doorway.

“I need your help real quick. I think my stitches busted, I feel blood,” I lied.

“Oh God, Ramsey, what were you doing?” she asked, running towards me. The look of concern she wore on her face let me know she still cared about a nigga.

When she got close enough to me, I grabbed her hands and forcefully pulled her to my chest.

“Ramsey, let me go!” she yelled.

“Yo’, chill out before you bust these stitches for real,” I said.

“Then let me go before you make me late for work.”

“What the fuck did I tell you about these uniform pants?” I asked, smacking her hard on the ass.

“Stop, Ramsey, for real, before I call Ma,” she fussed.

Hearing her call my mother “Ma” felt good. Good enough that I was actually considering making her my wife. Good enough that she had me feeling like Lloyd when he sang “Player’s Prayer”.

“Damn, you got my dick hard. Let me hit it,” I smirked.

  “Ramsey, I’m not playing.”

  “I’m not either,” I replied.

“Why must you play so much?”

“I love you, man. This shit ain’t us, bae,” I confessed.

“You should’ve thought about that before you cheated on me, then turned around and put your hands on me.”

“Stop exaggerating. You acting like I beat yo’ ass; all I did was slap you a few times.”

  “And that’s ok?” she quizzed.

“No, it ain’t, and I’m sorry, bae, for real.”

“Can you let me go now?” she asked.

“Not until you tell me we’re good.”

“It’s not that easy, Ramsey. You really did hurt me.”

&nb
sp; “I know, and if I have to spend the rest of my life making that shit up to you, I will. As long as you don’t give up on a nigga,” I truthfully responded.

“I can’t do this with you, Ramsey. I’m too much of a good woman,” she cried.

“You’re perfect and I’m a fool. I fucked up, but it wasn’t intentionally. I wasn’t out hunting for bitches to fuck.”

“You should have kept it real with me!” she yelled.

“You right, but see I’m known for doing shit the difficult way,” I replied.

  “Let me go,” she begged.

“Never,” I replied, kissing her on her forehead.

“If I lose my job behind you—”

“I’d be happy as fuck. I hate you working at that place wearing that tight ass uniform,” I cut her off.

“You not letting me go, huh?”

“Nah, so you better get comfortable,” I replied, shifting my body so she could lay comfortably.

I was in a lot of pain, but I wouldn’t dare let her know that. I wanted Emma in my arms, even if it meant I had to suffer in pain. I saw my mother appear in the doorway and for a second, I thought she was going to be on some cock blocking type shit, until she pulled the door close, giving us our privacy.

“You should let me come home so you can nurse me back to health,” I suggested.

  “No.”

  “Why not?” I asked.

“I work, and I’m not fucking with you like that.”

“I know you got a vacation coming up. Take it.”

“Nah, I was saving it to hit Las Vegas. I’m trying to pick up a few niggas.” She laughed, causing me to grab her by the back of the neck.

“Get your hands off me!” she snapped.

“Respect my mind,” I warned her.

“You should have thought about respecting mine before you went and fucked that bitch,” she spat.

“Come on, Emma. We gotta get past this if we’re going to get married and shit,” I said, shocking myself. I was thinking marriage, but I was nowhere near discussing it with her yet.

“Get married?” she asked, looking at me.

  “Possibly,” I smiled.

  “Hmm.” She rolled her eyes.

“Come on, ma, I’m trying. Let me touch that pussy.”

“How you jump from getting married to pussy?”

“I’m horny as fuck, ma, for real.”

“I’m not fucking with you like that,” she gritted her teeth.

“Ok, cool, just lay with a nigga,” I said, wrapping my arms around her.

I knew getting Emma back wasn’t going to be an easy task, but I was going to do everything in my power to get back on her good side. I was in love with Emma and I couldn’t see myself allowing her to walk away from me so easily. I was prepared to beg my ass off. Shit, I had my guns ready to knock off any niggas she thought about talking to. She was going to be my wife eventually. I was going to allow her to throw her temper tantrum for now.

Despite Elias coming and trying to fuck shit up, things between Mayhem and I were good. Seeing Elias for the first time in such a long time was just the closure I needed. Before Mayhem, I would have dropped my clothes and accepted him with open legs, but since Mayhem came into my life, I finally learned my worth. I could see through Elias’ snake ass and I knew there was more to his story than wanting to be in his son’s life.

Thanks to Mayhem, everything was finally finalized and I now officially had custody of Elijah. Mayhem offered my grandmother the house across from us so she could be closer to Elijah, but she declined his offer. She was content with having Elijah every other weekend while being able to travel freely with the church.

“FUCK!” I sighed, as I looked at the time on my dashboard.

The traffic on I-95 was a bitch. I knew for a fact I was going to be late for class again. Mayhem tried to convince me to stay home and do the online classes, but I decided against it. Since I no longer worked, I needed something to do; sitting in the house all day would only drive my ass crazy.

Still stuck in traffic, I jammed to my Get Crunk playlist while devouring the French toast sticks and ham and cheese croissant I purchased from Burger King. If Mayhem knew I was eating like this, I would never hear the end of it. Since the doctor diagnosed me with high blood pressure, Mayhem has been up my ass about what I consumed. I swear our refrigerator was identical to a fruit and veggie shop. That nigga even had the nerve to replace every seasoning in the house with MRS. DASH.

When I finally made it to class, I was full, sleepy and fifteen minutes late. As I crept my way to my seat in the middle of a lecture, my professor shot me a stern look before she continued on. Pulling out my laptop and books, I sat them on my desk and tried my best to keep my eyes open. The more she lectured, the sleepier I became and the harder the task of staying awake became.

“You come to my class late, then you fall asleep,” my professor said.

I jumped up, only to see that we were the only two in the classroom.

“I’m sorry, Professor Reads, it won’t happen again.”

“It better not or I will be forced to deduct thirty points from your final exam. You need a ‘C’ to pass this class so that would put you in a failing situation,” she sternly replied.

“I understand.” I nodded, as I tried my best to copy the notes that were on the board.

“You can leave; I will email you the notes this one time. I expect to see you five minutes early next week.”

“You will,” I replied, grabbing my things.

Since this was my only class for today, I headed to the office to see if Mayhem wanted to grab lunch.

“Hey, Tiny!” Mayhem’s assistant greeted, as I walked past her. “Mayhem is in the conference room hosting interviews at the moment, but you’re more than welcome to wait for him in his office.” she smiled.

“Thank you,” I replied, making my way to his office.

Every time I visited the Godfrey Brothers Headquarters, I fell in love. I loved how their office space was so well put together. Every detail of the building was eye catching. From the high ceilings, oil paintings, down to the Italian carpet; this place was expensively beautiful.

Taking a seat at Mayhem’s desk, I helped myself to a bottle of water and a fruit bowl that was in the mini fridge. I spun myself around in the huge executive chair as I munched down on the sweet fruit. I looked through the pictures of me, Elijah and his kids that decorated his desk, then began to shuffle through the paperwork that was on his desk.

“Brothers,” I read the name of the document that sat on the folder.

It was a layout of the new gentlemen’s club he was opening. The concept of his club was to have a place where business men can handle their business in the daytime over lunch, drinks and beautiful women, then it would transform into a hot spot at night. The difference between Brothers and a strip club was that the women were topless, they only danced on stage, and the men weren’t allowed to touch them.

I looked through the folder and came face to face with a bunch of different beautiful women. All shapes, sizes, and colors, but all beautiful. The fact that Mayhem would be around all these women did have me on edge a bit since my pregnancy now had me feeling ugly, but I trusted him.

“Found what you’re looking for?” Mayhem asked, startling me.

“I was just waiting for you,” I replied.

“By going through my papers?” he asked with a raised brow.

“I’m hungry, you want to go to lunch?” I asked, changing the subject.

“I wish your little ass would have called before coming up here. I can’t,” he said, walking towards me.

“Why is that?” I poked my bottom lip out.

“Brothers opens in a few weeks and I have to show the ladies I hired around, give them the basic run down of things, and get with the company to order uniforms,” he said, looking down at his watch.

“Why can’t someone else do it?”

  “If you want shit
done right, you gotta do it yourself,” he replied, pulling me into his arms.
