Lock Step: An Enemies to Lovers Accidental Roommates Stepbrother Romance

“I think the idea of us getting caught having sex by anyone anywhere would be awful,” she said. “We’d be naked and totally vulnerable. Speaking of which, let’s do this in the nude.”
“Why?”
“Why not?”
I shrugged and got naked. She did too. I assumed she was ready for sex again, which was fine with me.
“Notice anything different?” she asked.
“No,” I shrugged.
She took my hand and placed it against her belly. I could feel another heartbeat.
“Oh, my God,” I gasped. “Are you pregnant?”
“Yeah,” she nodded happily. “We’re gonna be parents!”
I was in shock but in a good way. It never even occurred to me to wear a condom. In retrospect, it probably would’ve been the smarter move, but I was too excited. And I couldn’t even say I regretted it. I had always wanted kids and with Tracianne, I knew they’d looked amazing.
“Wait, can we still do it?” I asked.
“Oh, yeah, it’s fine,” she assured. “You can’t hurt the baby by having sex. I read it online. And now I can’t get more pregnant.”
“This kind of changes everything, Traci,” I warned. “We’re on a timer here.”
“What do you mean?”
“We’ll have to tell the folks now. They’re going to ask who the father is. It’ll be their first question,” I pointed out. “You can’t lie to them. They’re going to want to meet whomever the dad is.”
“Well, they can meet you,” she smiled. “We’ll just explain it to them.”
I guess I deserved that. So blithely had I been promising her that our relationship was no big deal, she went from being paranoid about getting caught to being confident no one would raise an eyebrow. At least, I was hoping that our news would be received that way.
“Look, it might be awkward for them at first,” she theorized. “But we’ve been locked up for months. We have plenty of time to reinvent ourselves. And my dad is no longer your stepdad after you two spent so much time together drinking so much whiskey; now he’s more of your wingman.”
“I don’t know about that,” I replied. “He might lose his shit, Trace. He’s a pretty manly guy. His macho side might decide to beat the crap out of me.”
“I know him, and I would bet differently. He’s a pussycat when it comes to me,” she assured me.
“I’m not even sure how this would work on a family tree,” I said. “It probably looks bad, from the outside, at least.”
“We’ll make it work, trust me, love,” she told me, smiling. “I trust you. Don’t you trust me?”
“Of course. But how will our kid explain this to his or her friends?” I worried. “I mean, kids can be pretty mean when it comes to other kids. What if he or she tells them we’re brother and sister?”
“Stepbrother and stepsister,” she corrected. “Jeez, at least say it right.”
“I know, but… you know what I mean.”
“I suppose we could just leave out the part about how we met,” she shrugged. “Why complicate his or her little life?”
“Yeah, but then there are his or her grandparents,” I pointed out. “That might get confusing. I mean, like, when he or she tells the other kids that he or she has only one set of grandparents.”
“I think you’re overthinking this,” she said, doing her best to reassure me. “Little kids, they don’t drill down into the details like this. Maybe when he’s older.”
“And then what?”
“Then we can explain it better. I mean, we’ve done nothing wrong,” she pointed out. “What if you and I had gotten together before my dad and Daphne? Right? And they met and fell in love? No one would bat an eye. No one would say we were weird, right?”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right,” I agreed. “But telling your dad you’re pregnant is going to be a big moment. A big, scary moment! He might kill me.”
“I don’t think so. He likes you,” she pointed out. “Besides, he kept telling you that you and I should be closer.”
“Somehow, I don’t think this is what he had in mind!” I laughed. “But hey. What did you draw?”
I peered at her paper, which had turned very colorful.
“I’m not good at drawing,” she admitted. “I just drew a rainbow. And the sun. What did you draw?”
“Horses,” I said. “At least, I think they’re horses. I’m not much of an artist, either. I guess I’ll have to brush up on my skills, though, since we’re having a kid.”
“The bottom line is that I think our parents are going to be thrilled to be grandparents,” she said. “Your mother needs something to look forward to. Another baby? Women love babies! I know I can’t wait!”
“It’s so strange,” I admitted. “This lockdown. The events in this house. Who knew it would lead to this?”
“I know,” she agreed. “It’s like my whole life has changed with you in the picture now. College seems like a faraway dream. I can’t wait to tell my friends about you.”
“Guess we’re not going to have to lie to them about us,” I added. “That’s a plus.”
“Yeah, although my girlfriends teased me about you,” she admitted. “Way back in the beginning. They suggested that I date you.”
“They did? Seriously?”
“I think they were joking, but yeah,” she smiled. “I kept saying ‘Ew!’ but they kept on teasing me. In some ways, I guess it was a foreshadowing of what was to come.”
“Will your friends accept us as a couple?” I wondered aloud.
“Why wouldn’t they?” she shrugged. “It would be weird if they didn’t. Plus, I didn’t change my last name or get adopted by you mom, so, those are a couple things that will make it less weird.”
“What if they won’t accept us, though? Your friends? And what if our parents think this is wrong? That we’re doing something against God or whatever,” I worried.
“Babe, we got this,” she smiled. “At this point, I think they’re gonna love this. It might come as a shock at first, but in the end, they’ll just have to accept it! What is your mother going to say, really? After cheating on your dad, she has no room to talk.”
“I’m more worried about your dad, but sure,” I agreed. “The whole thing smacks of a TV movie of the week or something.”
“I’m gonna make you so happy, Phil,” she promised. “Maybe half as happy as you make me and trust me, that’s a lot.”
“You want to show me that appreciation?” I asked suggestively.
“Always!” she answered.
We started kissing and having sex on the floor of her bedroom. Rolling over the pictures and crayons, our body heat caused them to get a little soft and mar our bodies with the bright colors.
It was such amazing sex that I didn’t care, though.
“Look at these colors on your big breasts,” I told her, as I took a nipple into my mouth and sucked on it.
I squeezed the other one with my hands, loving how full they were and how they bounced around as she rode my cock like a madwoman.
“Fuck, Phil, that feels so good,” she said. “I love when you suck my nipple like that.”
“How about this?” I asked, biting it a bit.
I took her other one between my fingers and squeezed it.
“I still have to punish you for being such a bad little stepsister slut,” I told her. “You always like it nice and naughty.”
“Mmm, I sure do,” she said, as she clenched the walls of her pussy around my cock. “I love being dirty for my big stepbrother. Especially when his huge cock is in my pussy and he’s giving it to me good.”
“There are crayons all over your gorgeous, curvy body,” I said, running my hands up and down the colors on her stomach. “It makes me want to touch every inch of it.”
“It’s like I was the canvas,” she said, laughing.
But then her face grimaced in pleasure as my cock hit her G-spot.
/>
“Right there, big bro,” she said. “You’re hitting my sweet spot, stepbrother. Don’t stop. Fuck me right there.”
“Fuck yeah,” I said, twisting her nipples until they were so erect it was as if they were pointing right at me. “I know how to fuck you good. I know how to make you cum.”
“I’m cumming all over your colorful cock,” she moaned, gasping a bit.
I loved the way she sounded when I made her orgasm.
“I love it, too,” I told her. “I love you.”
She looked at me mid-cum, her face a mixture of pleasure and love.
I hadn’t meant to say those three words, but they had just slipped out.
But she was riding my cock so hard while I thrust in and out of her that I didn’t think she minded one bit. In fact, once she stopped groaning, she said it back.
“I love you, too, Phil,” she said. “I think I always have. Even if it at first I tried to mask it with hate.”
I felt a twinge at the base of my balls as I started to shoot my cum into her tight, wet little pussy hole.
“I’m cumming in you, Tracianne,” I said. “I love to fill up my stepsister with my creamy load. And I love you so much it makes me explode.”
We lay in each other’s arms after that, a colorful, sweaty mess, both of us staring up at the ceiling and knowing that we had to do whatever it took to be together for real now.
Chapter Twenty - Tracianne
Finally, the lockdown was fading, albeit slowly. School was a distant memory at this point, though, and we were unsure they would even open next semester.
At least stores were opening, though, in a limited capacity. Everything going on was pretty crazy still, but the end was in sight.
We had to tell our parents about us. There was just no other choice.
How was I supposed to explain my condition in a couple of months?
Despite my big talk to Phil, to try to calm him down, when it came to walking the walk, I was really nervous. But I knew there was no time like the present to get this out of the way.
We agreed to just walk up to them holding hands and tell them. It might not have been the best idea, but it was certainly the most direct. We looked at it as ripping off a band aid.
Dad and Daphne were sitting in the living room. Dad was on his tablet reading the news and Daphne was watching television. Dad looked up when we came in.
“What’s this?” he asked, suspiciously.
“We wanted to tell you,” I started nervously. I cleared my throat and kept going before I could lose my nerve. “Phil and I have been, well, we’re in a relationship. We’re in love.”
“What?” Daphne asked Phil, obviously in shock.
“It’s true,” he confirmed. “We just fell for each other.”
“This is a joke, right? You have to be kidding” Dad insisted. “C’mon. Do you have any idea what this looks like? This is a joke.”
“It’s no joke, dad,” I said. “And I’m pregnant.”
“What?” he shouted.
“Oh, my God,” Daphne muttered.
Her face had gone pale.
She looked like she might throw up.
Dad stood up.
His face looked red and swollen all of a sudden.
I really thought he was going to punch Phil.
“What the hell were you two thinking?!” he shouted. “You’re brother and sister!”
“Step!” Phil emphasized, his face getting red now, too. “Step brother and sister.”
My father just glared at him as if he wasn’t even listening anymore.
“We’re not blood relatives, Richard. We’re no more related than you and Mom,” Phil pointed out.
“Don’t even try that! Don’t even try,” Dad shouted.
“Richard, please calm down,” said Daphne, now that some of the color had returned to her face.
“Did you know about this?” he demanded.
“No!” she said. “But I kept telling you I heard noises at night. You said it was nothing. Just this old creaky house.”
“I said I didn’t think it was anything to worry about. There were lots of things to explain it— yes, definitely with these floorboards and thin walls. Naturally, I didn’t think it was— Oh, my God! You two have been fornicating in this house the whole time?” Now he turned away from Daphne and was looking straight at me.
“God, Tracianne, I thought you were more chaste than this!”
“Wow, Dad, you’re starting to sound like a preacher or something,” I told him. “I mean, really. ‘Fornicating?’ ‘Chaste?’ Next you’ll be sending me off to the nunnery! No offense, but my sex life isn’t any more of your business now than it was before I told you I was with Phil. And this isn’t even about sex. I’ve found the person I love.”
“The fuck you have!” my dad shouted.
Okay, this really wasn’t going as smoothly as I’d hoped. I was really naïve to think he’d take it well. But I wasn’t expecting him to get this mad. Part of me had been stupidly thinking he’d be happy for me, since I had never told him I was in love before, and since I never had been in love before.
“Richard, I love Tracianne. I want to marry her,” Phil stated. “Hopefully with your blessing.”
“Blessing? You should be lucky I haven’t knocked your lights out. That’s the only blessing you’ll be getting from me, you traitor. We had drinks in the study!” my dad shouted. “You looked me in the eye and told me you’d start getting along with my daughter. Man to man! You didn’t tell you me you were… you know… doing all of this with her.”
He swept his arm out to include everything in the word “this.”
“I didn’t lie to you. You never asked if we were together and…” Phil started to say.
“Of course I didn’t!” my dad exploded. “Because that’s preposterous. Why would I ever even think you might be together?”
“Well, I did what you said,” Phil continued. I was glad he wasn’t letting my dad steamroll him. He needed to get this out so that he and I could be on the best foot together, with or without our parents’ blessing. “I got to know your daughter and I think she’s the best person I ever met.”
“Awww,” I gushed. “Isn’t he sweet?”
“Well, that is sweet,” Daphne said in our defense.
“Daphne. Stop it,” my dad hissed at her. “Phil, you know I just wanted you and Tracianne to get along as stepsiblings who have to live together. Not as… you know, a couple. How are we going to tell people, Daphne?”
Now he was looking at her again.
“How can we condone this?” he raged. “We just got married not too long ago and now we find this out?”
“Well, that’s the whole point. They’re not related, Phil,” Daphne said. “They didn’t even know each other until they met at our wedding. It’s not like they were raised together or anything. I don’t think it’s illegal, either. Is it?”
“No, I checked,” Phil proudly reported.
I thought about his impressive Googling skills and how he had convinced me he lived in Alaska and had to swallow back a smile. I knew this was no laughing matter but I was also glad for some comic relief in what had become a very stressful situation.
“God!” snapped dad. “This is like some bad drama you’d see on TV!”
“I know it’s not exactly normal, but Phil is amazing, and we really love each other,” I pleaded.
“What about college? You’re going to have to take care of a kid now,” Dad pointed out. “Have you even thought about that?”
That was a whole other issue that complicated things, and I could understand him being upset about a young, unplanned pregnancy more than I could when it came to the relationship, I had developed with Phil.
“We’ll make it work,” Phil proclaimed. “Don’t worry.”
“Just like that!” Dad said bitterly. “You’ve got all the answers!”
“Give them a chanc
e, Richard,” Daphne piped up, rather meekly, but I still appreciated having her support.
Maybe she wasn’t as weak as I had thought.
And I knew my dad wasn’t trying to be mean or unsupportive. It was more like he was trying to process it. I realized we had overwhelmed him a bit with the news. I got a little emotional.
“Dad, this is what I want,” I cried. “If you can’t be behind it, I don’t care if you disown me. I love Phil and I love this baby!”
For a moment, Dad just stood there. He rubbed his face and stared off into the distance. Suddenly, he sighed, nodded and dropped his hands.
Slowly, he walked out of the room. I wasn’t sure what would happen, but I couldn’t take any bad news right then, so I told myself once again that he just needed time to process and that everything would be okay.
If this was how my own father reacted, I could only imagine what the rest of the world would have to say about us. I suddenly felt like some kind of freak. But I still didn’t regret anything because Phil made me so happy.
When I first got sick in the mornings, I thought I had just caught a bug. I wondered if I should take a Covid test. But then once my breasts started hurting, I realized I should take a different type of test entirely.
And when I saw the pink “plus” line on the pregnancy stick, I felt a mixture of fear and happiness. Soon, though, I told myself not to be afraid. This was a good thing. This meant Phil and I were tied together for life, and that was exactly what I wanted.
I couldn’t wait to see what our baby would look like. How good of a dad Phil would be. And how nice it would feel to snuggle the baby and sing it to sleep. My future felt certain for the first time ever.
After Dad left the room, Daphne hugged me. She took my hands and Phil’s in each of her own and smiled.
“I’m happy for you both,” she said, smiling. “Give your dad some time, Tracianne. He’ll come around. He’s a man who is set in his ways.”
“Thanks for your support, Mom,” Phil said.
“You always have it, Sweetie. I’m happy for both of you.” She was beaming big now and I was glad that at least one of them was on our side. “But we will have to discuss how to… explain this to people. I don’t want them to get the wrong impression.”
