She could feel her eyes getting heavy and gave into sleep as she listened to his heartbeat.

Reese stretched and yawned when he woke up the next morning. As usual, he found he was wrapped around Victoria. She stirred when he moved. He watched his hand trace the curve of Victoria’s waist and up her ribs. He usually woke with a stiff dick in the morning, but it was getting stiffer as he moved his hand over Victoria’s curves.
“Mmmmm,” Victoria purred as she backed up into Reese.
“Good morning,” Reese said, pushing his rigid dick into the crease of Victoria’s ass.
Victoria rubbed her butt up against Reese and sighed. He could tell from her body language her intent was to tease him and leave him hanging. It was a favorite little trick of hers. Little shit. She was taking a stick and poking at the monster in him. He rubbed that fine ass and then…smack!
“Ow! What the hell was that for!” Victoria roared as she sat up and glared at Reese.
“I know what you were up to and you were being a little shit,” Reese said as he lay back on his elbow.
Victoria quickly moved to the other side of the bed and proceeded to pout. Reese crawled up to her and tried to caress his little punishment away. She moved away. The monster in him reared its head. He roughly flipped her onto her stomach and yanked the sheets away. He straddled the back of her legs and ignored her protests as he started massaging her ass. He lay over her legs and started kissing the red print that was on her right cheek. He felt her melt into the bed. He moved his way up to the small of her back, licking and kissing as he went.
This is new…Victoria started moaning like she was dying as Reese worked the small of her back. He moved his knee in between her legs and lifted her hips. He knew he would not last long fucking her doggy style because this position just seemed to drive him insane. He took his cock and rubbed it against her slit.
“Fuck me, baby,” Reese commanded.
Reese stayed still as Victoria rocked her hips back and forth, moving him in and out of her pussy. He continued to rub the small of her back in tight circles. She shivered and then started fucking him more intensely. She shoved up against him and arched her back as she climaxed. He kept up the circular motion of his hands on her back. She started to fall forward, wanting to rest after her peak. The monster inside Reese roared in furious aggravation this time. With his hard dick still buried inside her, he pulled her up against his chest.
“Did I say stop? I’m not done with you!” Reese demanded lowly in her ear.
Victoria reached around and cradled his neck. “Reese…” she breathed.
“I guess if I want to finish, I’m going to have to fuck you. Is that right?” Reese asked as he reached down and started rubbing Victoria’s clit.
“Um…” Victoria purred.
“Answer me!” Reese demanded as the other hand squeezed her tit.
“Yes,” Victoria moaned.
“Yes? What?” Reese asked as he stroked Victoria’s nipple.
“Fuck me! Please fuck me!” Victoria moaned.
Victoria shook as Reese ran his fingers over her pussy and nipples before he released her. He let her fall forward onto her hands as he gripped her hips. He started fucking her quickly. The delicious friction he was experiencing was driving him to a quick ascent. He grabbed her shoulders and drove into her as he came. He let himself grow soft inside of her as he lightly rubbed her back. He could feel her tremble. He pulled out and lay down beside her. He brushed her hair from her face and smiled at her.
“Do you forgive me?” Reese asked.
“No,” Victoria panted.
“I’ll kiss it again and try to make it better,” Reese offered.
Suddenly, all hell broke loose. The house alarm started going off. Reese shot out of bed, grabbed Victoria, and threw her into his closet, commanding her not to come out until he came and got her. He put on the jeans next to the bed and grabbed the handgun that he kept in the nightstand. He shoved the loaded magazine into the handle and went into combat mode. He could hear someone trying to reset the alarm as he made his way cautiously down the steps.
There was no one in the entryway when Reese reached the bottom of the stairs. He saw the front panel on the alarm pad was down. He hated that fucking pad next to the door because it was the most unsecure place in the world for something like that. He silently cursed the alarm company that had installed it in such a stupid place. He looked around and turned the corner that led to the kitchen. He saw a shadow and lifted the gun to the face of the intruder, who screamed.
“Reese! Put that gun down! What’s wrong with you?” Maggie demanded.
Reese turned off the alarm and turned his fury on Maggie. “What the fuck are doing here!” Reese yelled.
“Reese! I came to talk to you,” Maggie whined.
“I don’t want to talk to you,” Reese said as he put the gun on safety.
“Where is the maid?” Maggie demanded.
“You need to leave, Maggie,” Reese said, ignoring her question.
“We need to discuss our future,” Maggie said as she sat down.
“Maggie, there is no future! This is not your house anymore and you can’t just walk in here whenever you want. I’m asking you nice, please leave,” Reese said.
“Reese, I know you’re seeing the maid and I want you to know I will not tolerate it. Now this is silly, fire her and I’ll move back in,” Maggie demanded.
Reese stared at Maggie in disbelief for a moment. Did she not hear me? Reese turned and looked at the wall and looked back at Maggie. She really is nuts. Reese determined he would get a more sane answer from the wall than he would from Maggie. There was no point in talking.
“Please, please leave right now,” Reese said.
“Reese, I saw you with the maid at the mall and I must say it was embarrassing. Now you’ve had your chance to play around and get it out of your system—”
“Okay, here’s the deal, Maggie, either you walk out of here and never come back, or I call the cops and have you arrested,” Reese said, cutting her off firmly.
“Reese, I’m serious. This little temper tantrum of yours has lasted long enough. Now I’m willing to forgive you and come home if you get rid of the maid,” Maggie said, smiling.
“Maggie, I’m serious. Either leave or I call the cops.”
“I don’t think you understand, Reese…” Maggie started.
“I understand, Maggie,” Reese said, turning away.
The phone was ringing and Reese knew it was the alarm company checking to see if they needed to send the cops, firefighters, or paramedics. As much as Reese hated to start World War III, he picked up the phone and told them to send the cops because he had an intruder.
“Maggie, please go. The cops are on their way and I will have them take you and lock you up,” Reese said.
Reese knew the minute the police arrived there would be a huge scene with Maggie. When the cops got there and started trying to sort out the story, he watched in stunned silence as she managed to spin her tales. Within two minutes she had the police believing that he was being a bastard husband and throwing his poor helpless wife under the bus for the Jezebel maid. He had to find his copy of the divorce papers that Maggie had filed and prove to the cops they were, in fact, divorced and had been for four months. Naturally, after all the facts came out, she went into a tailspin when they took her away. The entire scene ended with one of the police officers suggesting that he file a restraining order.
Reese returned upstairs where Victoria was waiting for him. It was hard for him not to get distracted with her in that little satin-and-lace dress. Maggie, as usual, was a real mood killer.
“Reese, will you listen to me now?” Victoria asked as she switched off the TV.
“Victoria, please—” Reese said.
“Reese! Ella es loca! I’m scared of her and if you’re not you ought to be!” Victoria exclaimed.
“What do you want me to do? She lives in Maryland
with her parents and I live in Virginia. I have no choice. I have to live where the Corps tells me to live,” Reese said.
“File that damn restraining order like the cops told you to,” Victoria demanded.
“No. I’m changing the locks like I should have. She left! I never thought she’d come back!” Reese said loudly.
“It’s not stopping her and I heard what she said,” Victoria argued.
“She moved out! I thought she left the key!” Reese countered.
“Reese, we talked about getting married last night. Eventually, I want kids. I won’t have someone like her around my kids,” Victoria said.
“The day you put my ring on your finger and if she comes around again, then I will file that restraining order. For you,” Reese said.
“She’s not done, Reese.”
Down deep inside, Reese knew Victoria was right. He also knew that Maggie was past crazy, she was delusional. She believed this was a game they were playing. He had to think about what he needed to do. Now, not only did he need to think of himself, but Victoria, too, because apparently, she was on Maggie’s radar.
* * * *
A few more weeks passed and Victoria and Reese fell into a life together. He loved waking up wrapped around her in the morning. Her thesis had been accepted and she would graduate in mid-December. He would start War College in January. As he had informed her, he had lots of social functions to attend. Her coming out was the Marine Corps Birthday Ball in early November. There were lots of whispers and a few catty remarks by some of Maggie’s buddies, but all in all, she did fine and looked beautiful. Despite Sandra Sanfield and some of Maggie’s cronies, they became a public couple and all the uproar and gossip died down by the third event they attended. Everyone who knew him figured out Victoria was not a passing thing for him.
Victoria started seriously job hunting in early November. Around that time Reese’s boss told him he needed to attend a conference that was mandatory for their group. He was told he had a temporary duty assignment or TDY scheduled for Pearl Harbor the first week in December. The day after he found out about his trip, he broached the subject with Victoria. They were in bed and settling down for the night.
“I found a job. I start right after I officially graduate,” Victoria said as she curled up next to Reese.
“Which one?” Reese asked.
“Crescent Environmental and I start December seventeenth.”
“Good. Is that the one you wanted?” Reese asked.
“Yes, it is, that’s the one where I get projects and can work from home. It’ll give me some experience before I try to go corporate,” Victoria said.
“Then I guess I can give you a graduation present.”
“What kind of present?” Victoria asked suspiciously.
“I have a conference at Pearl Harbor the first week in December. Would you like to go to Hawaii with me?” Reese asked.
“Are you serious?”
“Yes, I’m serious. Why would I ask?”
“Hawaii?” Victoria questioned.
“You don’t want to go?”
“Are you kidding? I would love to go to Hawaii!” Victoria exclaimed.
“Would you like to go to Europe?” Reese asked.
“Yes!” Victoria squealed
“Start working on your passport, there’s a NATO-SOCOM conference in Brussels at the end of June. I’m usually there for a week. If I know you’re going, I’ll schedule leave so we can stay a little longer. Paris is about three hours from the conference.”
“Oh my God, Reese! This is so freaking cool! Thank you!”
“I’m glad you want to go,” Reese said.
Victoria threw her arms around Reese and he stroked her hair as he smiled. He loved seeing her so happy and for once she didn’t fight him about giving her something.
“Reese, you’re so good. I’m so lucky,” Victoria whispered.
Reese leaned down and lightly bit Victoria’s throat. “Show me how grateful you are.” Reese growled.
Chapter Nine
Victoria waited anxiously for Reese. Everything was ready and waiting at the door. He had been called back to the base for some sort of an emergency. She sat watching the news and switched to a movie. Victoria couldn’t help looking at the clock. In two hours they would be leaving for Hawaii! If Reese ever gets home in time. She heard the kitchen door open and shot off of the sofa.
“Are you ready?” Reese asked.
“Yes, Yes. Everything is by the front door,” Victoria snapped.
“What the hell is it doing up there? The truck is parked in the garage by the kitchen. Let’s go, you’re burning day light!” Reese quipped as he lightly slapped her ass. She stuck her tongue out at him. “Don’t make me use my imagination with that tongue.” The reality of the trip finally hit Victoria as they changed planes in San Diego. They were really going to Hawaii! When they got to the aircraft and boarded, Reese directed her to a first-class seat.
“What are we doing?” Victoria asked.
“Those are our seats. Get in there and sit down,” Reese said.
“Are you serious?” Victoria asked.
“Victoria, there are people behind me. Move!” Reese ordered.
Victoria shuffled into the seat and sat down. Reese planted himself beside her. He turned and smiled at her. She looked away and thought about all the little things he did to make her feel special. God, how I love him! She swallowed hard trying to get rid of the lump in her throat. She turned back and kissed him quickly. He took her hand and leaned back in his seat. Victoria lifted the arm rest and snuggled next to Reese. She closed her eyes and relaxed as she felt his soft touch running up and down her back.
“Sweetness, we’re here,” Reese said into her ear as he lightly stroked her upper arm. Victoria’s eyes flew open. When did I fall asleep? “Look, there’s Diamond Head,” he said, directing her view.
Victoria looked out the window and saw a huge crater. As they continued circling to their descent, he pointed out Pearl Harbor, Waikiki Beach, and several other landmarks outside her window. Victoria hadn’t been this excited in a very long time. Everything was so perfect. When they arrived at the Halekulani Hotel, she was exhausted again. She glanced down at her watch. It was midnight in Virginia and was only was six in the evening in Honolulu. Reese looked refreshed and ready to go. She yawned.
“That time change thing usually screws me up, too,” Reese said.
“What’s on the agenda?” Victoria yawned again.
“Bed.” Reese smiled.
“It’s six,” Victoria said.
“You go to the room and rest. I’m meeting with some of the guys who are here,” Reese said.
After Reese helped Victoria up to the room, she stepped into the shower and changed for bed. He left her alone. Nothing sexy tonight, she was too tired. She tried to watch a little TV but soon drifted off to sleep. She had a dream about her mother. She woke with a start and reached for Reese. He was still gone. She looked at the clock next to the bed. It was eight fifteen and dark outside. She started to worry. Where the hell is he?
* * * *
“Come back with that?” Reese asked, staring at the man in front of him.
“Isn’t that the maid you brought with you?” Major Stanfield asked.
“She’s a hottie. Good on ya, man!” Major Williams said.
“What the hell are you two talking about?” Reese questioned.
“You oughta know the story. You’re living it!” Williams chided.
“What story?” Reese asked, taking a drink of his whiskey sour.
“Come on, Reese, how you kicked Maggie the fuck out when you got back from your remote and replaced her with the maid,” Stanfield said, downing his scotch.
Reese threw back his head and laughed himself silly. Stanfield and Williams were staring at him as if he had lost his mind.
“Shit! I wish it had been that good!” Reese said.
“That’s not what happened?” Williams questioned.
<
br /> “Hell no!” Reese laughed again.
“Weren’t you fucking the maid before you left? And then decided you were getting a better deal? I’ve heard it both ways from the same person,” Stanfield said.
So that’s Maggie’s story? Reese knew Maggie and the Stanfields were tight. He didn’t trust Frank Stanfield as far as he could throw the bar they were sitting in. Stanfield was ambitious and liked to play politics a lot more than he did. Stanfield would stab a man in the back if he thought it meant a promotion, and his wife wasn’t much better. Jim Williams, on the other hand, was pretty cool.
“That’s a better story then what really happened,” Reese said as the waitress brought another round.
“What happened, Reese? ’Cuz the way it’s going around, your girl is a real slut and you’re a real asshole,” Williams said soberly.
“I got fucked all right, but not the way I would’ve liked it. I was a moron,” Reese said, draining his glass.
“Did you really do that shit to Maggie, man?” Stanfield asked seriously.
“The truth is, Maggie divorced me two months before I got back from Iraq. Maggie moved out of the house while I was setting up security in Fallujah. I had no fucking clue what the hell was going on until I got back to final divorce papers and an empty house. Maggie hired Victoria and she stayed with Maggie while I was gone. Maggie didn’t have the guts to give me the papers herself. She had Victoria give them to me as soon as I got back. So, boys, fiction is a lot more entertaining than the facts,” Reese said, taking a long drink.
“Rumor is she doesn’t even speak English and she’s an illegal from Mexico,” Stanfield said.
“Victoria? She was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and she speaks better English than I do. She just finished up her masters in environmental engineering at George Washington University,” Reese said.
