“I’m going to make you come every night and moan my name, and I’m never going to get sick of hearing it and when the next night comes, I want the same - you coming and moaning my name. You understand Amber?”
He thrust into me hard when I didn’t answer.
My hands went to his chest and I nodded my head.
He smirked. “Good. Let’s start that tonight.”
Wait a sec, weren’t we already having sex? Then I realized this was just him outlining the rules, and the sex was still to come.
“You ready babe?” He whispered in my ear, like he was about to fuck me so hard, I wouldn’t just be moaning, I’d be screaming his name.
He was slightly out of me and before he could thrust into me, I moved my hips and engulfed him, giving him my answer.
He started at a steady speed, and it already had me clamping my mouth shut.
He kissed my lips for a second before pulling back, “Come on sweetheart, and don’t hold back on me.”
I kept my lips clamped shut.
He picked up the speed; just when I thought that wasn’t possible. A moan left my lips and my back arched.
“Come on sweetheart, I want to hear you.” He thrust deeper into me, causing my lips to part.
I had never felt this overwhelming, intense feeling before. Sure I had had sex, but this… this was something else.
“You moaning my name and coming is part of the deal.” He took my nipple in his mouth and I didn’t automatically let the moan escape my mouth; I was dying to at this point, as he killed me with pleasure. “Every night sweetheart, starting tonight.” His mouth moved from my breast and kissed my lips.
Again, he was fucking me so hard and intensely, it was causing my whole body to tremble.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, he started fucking me harder, causing the moan to escape my lips.
He smirked, satisfied, like that was what he had been waiting for. His kept the insane pace and lowered his head to mine, his arms taking his full weight.
“I want to hear you and feel you come. Don’t hold back.” He kissed my forehead.
Another moan left my lips as he kept pleasuring me, and, just as he wanted, I didn’t hold back on him.
Chapter 26
I skipped down the stairs, my hair bouncing as I jumped the last few stairs and landed in the foyer.
“Why are you so happy?” Cole asked with an eyebrow raised, as he walked through the lounge room door frame.
“The sun is shining; is there a reason not to be?” I grinned. “Why are you here?”
“I live here.” His eyebrows furrowed together as he studied me. “TROY!” he roared behind him. “AMBER’S DOING THAT SMILING THING AGAIN!”
“Real mature Cole.” I rolled my eyes and then darted to the front door, opening it quickly and slamming it behind me. I heard the dull rumble of Troy’s voice as I walked down the porch steps.
I, Amber Shield, am Jax’s girlfriend.
I bit my lip, suppressing my grin. God, he was mind blowing. I glanced across at the lined up bikes, his missing.
Sighing, I dug my hand in my handbag and searched for my car keys. Jax had left early; what a surprise. Unlocking the Hummer, I frowned slightly before getting in. Maybe he was over me? He got the goods last night, more than once then when I woke up this morning, he was gone.
Suddenly, my happy mood was fading as I thought this over again. Closing my door, I thought, why the heck was I now willingly going to school?
I jumped, startled by the knocking on my window. Frowning at Tyler, I pressed the button and the window went down.
“What?” I asked.
“Can you give us a ride to the clubhouse?” Tyler shifted a large bag on his shoulder. I glanced behind him and noticed my other brothers walking towards us, all carrying big black bags.
“Why?”
“Cause.”
“I have school.”
“Aren’t you guys on holiday?” Tyler gave me a blank expression, “OR did you forget that?”
“How the heck did I forget that!” I cursed, and shook my head. “Well then, doesn’t look I have an excuse not to take you guys.”
Tyler was already opening the back door, not really listening to me. I glanced sideways at Troy, as he sat down in the front seat next to me. The other three loaded into the back, all with big black bags on their laps.
“So, where’s Jax?” I asked causally, and placed the car in drive. “Or was he not lucky enough to get a black bag?” I smirked, while glancing in the rear view mirror. All the guys seemed to miss my dig and looked out the windows, bored. Cole grunted a reply - ‘clubhouse’ and then the car fell silent.
“Didn’t sleep well last night?” I asked openly. Each one of them seemed pissed off to the max. I didn’t know when they came home last night, because what my brothers were doing or where they were was the last thing on my mind at the time.
I sighed internally as I remembered Jax’s hands roaming my body, and his ability to multi-task.
“No,” Tyler grunted and leaned his head against the window. “God, I would do anything to be asleep right now.”
“Yeah,” Adam yawned.
“Dad’s gone again,” Troy huffed. “Don’t ask me where he went, I wasn’t listening that closely.”
“I think he made us stay, just so someone was home for Amber,” Cole scoffed and then muttered ‘babysitters’ under his breath.
“Well, don’t you guys function well with no sleep,” I muttered matter of factly, lowering my foot on the accelerator.
I went to turn the radio on, and Troy quickly slapped my hand away, giving me daggers too.
“Fine, we will remain in silence,” I huffed, and glared out the front window.
Boys with no sleep were more hormonal than females. Tapping my finger on the steering wheel, I thought, why did I get the feeling today was going to be a long day?
***
“FUCKING MANIAC!” Cole slammed the car door and continued to curse about my driving skills as he walked away. Adam and Tyler both still looked terrified, while Troy was exhaling slowly.
“Oh come on! I was nowhere near it!” I defended my driving again.
Troy looked across at me, his face twisted in disbelief. Leaning over quickly, he swiped the keys from my hand and got out of the car, ignoring my protests.
So I may have overtaken a car, and may have just not seen a truck coming towards us but really, they were overdoing it. I had managed to get us off the road in time. Sure, we may have spun out onto the gravel road, but we made it here!
I glared into Troy’s head as I followed slowly behind them. Entering the clubhouse, the smell of cigarettes and alcohol consumed my nose once more.
“Finally, you guys show up,” a deep voice greeted my brothers, as we walked in. I noticed Cole was already at the bar, reaching for a bottle of spirits.
Troy was talking and shaking an old guy’s hand and, when he pulled away, I saw Jax. Sitting causally on a couch, he had a beer grasped in one hand, and the other arm wrapped around a female.
Gritting my teeth, I inhaled very slowly. Do.Not.Kill.Her. I continued to chant this, as the female moved closer into Jax’s side.
“Hey Jax,” I chipped, and then crossed my arms. His expression dropped, and I saw the horror in his eyes. He was totally caught out.
I was more annoyed than angry. I knew he couldn’t avoid females altogether, that would clue my brothers in.
So I guess I had to get used to him… screw it, I was not convincing myself that this was acceptable. I wasn’t the type of girl to hide in the corner.
“Oh hi Amber,” someone quipped. I turned around, and Jason walked around from outside the bar. “Jason, didn’t see you there!” I grinned, and I noticed Jax’s eyes narrow slightly.
Oh can’t life be a bitch, Jax? I sniggered to myself as I grinned freely at Jason. What a perfect time for him to show up.
“Amber, get that look off your face,” Cole snapped
at me. “You can go now.”
Jason chuckled, while smirking at me. I ignored Cole altogether. “So Jason, what are you doing here?” I asked.
“To see me,” Jax huffed, but I didn’t look at him. Instead, I bit my lower lip slightly, my eyes glued on Jason.
“What are you doing now?” I asked Jason, while pushing the hair from the side of my face.
Jason opened his mouth to speak, but Jax’s loud voice stopped him.
“Amber, a word, first.” Jax got up from the couch, and my brothers didn’t seem to care as I followed Jax. Jason sent me a pitiful smile.
Sighing and crossing my arms, I walked into the room Jax held the door open to. Closing it, his cool blank expression turned deadly as soon as the thud from the door echoed in the small room.
“Don’t play with me,” he threatened, pushing me slightly back against the wall, his eyes narrowed and deadly. “You’re mine now.”
“Yeah, I am yours, so tell me, are you mine?” I arched an eyebrow, not caving into his possessive posture.
“That chick was nothing and you know it.”
“My conversation with Jason was nothing.”
“I might be soft on you Amber, but don’t make me show you another side,” he growled. “You’re my girlfriend. I will be the one to protect you. I will be the one to kill any bastard that touches you so don’t make me kill my own flesh and blood.”
His voice was so thick and threatening; I had never seen Jax this defensive before.
“I’m not going to lose you,” he added, and leaned his head slightly closer to mine. “I have never been faithful to a woman before, so when Katie sat next to me, I didn’t even think about pushing her away. I’m sorry. I’m new to this,” he said softly.
“Don’t tease me, and I won’ tease you,” I said calmly. “And for the record, touching another female like that does cross a line for me.”
Jax slowly wrapped a hand around my waist and pulled me closer to his chest. “Then I won’t let it happen again.” His lips were slowly getting closer to mine. “Although, it might be noticed by your brothers.”
I threaded my arms around his neck and held his head closer to mine. “Good thing, I’m dating a hardcore biker then who is fearless.”
Amusement flashed in his eyes.
“Yeah, it is,” he muttered, before he drove his lips against mine. I had a feeling that this relationship was going to be hard work but the passion that was firing through my body as he kissed me told me it was worth fighting for.
Chapter 27
“God, I wish we could just go home,” I grumbled, pulling away from Jax’s lips just slightly so I could speak. My hands were firmly planted on his back, and his arms were pinning me to the table I was now sitting on, my feet dangling over the edge.
“If we stay any longer, they will come looking for us,” Jax said quickly, before he claimed my lips again with a quick kiss, sealing our fate as he pulled away. “Come on.”
Groaning, I let my hands drop back to my side and Jax helped me down, pressing me to his chest; slowly, I slipped down his body. My feet softly met the ground; man, that was a turn on. “Come home soon tonight?” I pleaded with my eyes. I wanted to finish what we had just started.
“I won’t be coming home tonight.” His lips formed a firm straight line. “We’re leaving on a run tonight, we won’t be back for a week.”
“WHAT!”
“Babe, keep your voice down.”
“You’re leaving, for a week?”
“We all are,” Jax said as his hand snuck under the back of my t-shirt, and his cool skin was sending shivers down through my skin.
“Why now?” I groaned. I couldn’t keep my hands to myself, so I placed a hand on each of his shoulders.
“We had to wait for school to close so I could go,” Jax said, looking disgusted. “You will be alright babe.” He kissed my forehead lightly. “I can get someone to watch the house, while we are gone.”
“It’s not that, it’s just…” I bit my lip for a moment; I didn’t want to be that needy girlfriend. Sighing, I wiped my expression and hid my true thoughts and disappointment from him. “It’s nothing, don’t worry about it. We should get back.” I pulled my hands away from him.
Jax continued to frown down at me, but nodded his head slightly and pulled his hand away. “Call me if you need me.” He stuffed his hands in his pockets and I smiled, nodding my head at him.
“Try and keep it in your pants while you’re gone,” I teased, and he shot me an annoyed expression before he turned around and opened the door.
I swallowed the disappointment, knowing that I wouldn’t be touching him again until he got back and we had privacy; away from everyone else.
“What the fuck were you two talking about for so long?” Cole snapped from behind the bar.
“Blake.” I closed the door behind me and shrugged my shoulders innocently, with a bored expression. “Jax needed some details.”
Jax didn’t look back at me. Instead, he walked back to where he was sitting before. I wanted to grin so wide when I noticed he decided to stand instead of sitting back next to the skank.
“Ok, I’m off.” I said, swiping the car keys from Troy’s back pocket. “See you guys when I see you.”
“It won’t be for a week,” Troy spun around quickly. “We’re going away for a bit. You will be alright, right?”
“Yep, fine.” I began to tap my foot nervously; I just had to keep my cool for a few more moments. “Have a safe trip.” I sent a smile at each of my brothers before I looked back at Troy.
“Ok…” Troy dragged the word out, while frowning. “Call if you need us.”
I nodded my head, walking away quickly, and waving over my shoulder. I wouldn’t be that weak little girl; I just couldn’t be. Not in front of Jax, and not to my brothers.
I pushed the clubhouse door open, and knowing that I would be by myself for a week consumed my thoughts.
I was dreading this.
Chapter 28
Jax
Troy tapped the hammer, and the meeting was officially in session. I glanced at Drake and Swan, both Presidents from leading charters. They both looked slightly stunned that I was letting Troy still be in charge. After all, I was the son of the great, I over-ruled all of them.
“The run, will it be a week, or two?” Drake’s voice was a low growl, like it normally was.
“A week,” Troy spoke up and lit the cigarette in his mouth. “Perhaps two, if things go longer.”
“They shouldn’t,” I cut in, fearing what two weeks could do to mine and Amber’s fresh relationship. “If it does, we will send the job over to the New Castle charter.”
Troy shot me a dirty look, clearly not liking me pulling rank but I would be fucked if I spent two weeks away from Amber. I was throbbing at the thought of being away from her for a week.
“Whatever you say,” Troy muttered bitterly, before glancing at his brothers, then back at Swan and Drake. “Could you boys clear out for a moment?” Drake and Swan looked offended, but they weren’t in a position to deny Troy’s direct request.
Grumbling under their breath to each other, they pushed their chairs back with anger and stormed from the room. Clearly, both Presidents didn’t like being spoken down to. I looked at Troy; why would he do that?
When the door closed, it was only us five once again. Mike and Dale, our other seated riders at the table, were in Melbourne doing some collecting.
“We have something to discuss,” Troy pulled his chair up and placed his cigarette on an ashtray. “It’s slightly personal,” he directed at me. “But still club business.”
Cole leaned back in his chair, Tyler too moved in his chair to give Troy attention, and even Adam put his beer down.
“It’s about Amber.” Troy’s eyes were still on me. “I know that this may come across as personal, but it relates to the club.”
I nodded my head for him to continue.
“I don’t think we should leave her
behind,” Troy sighed. “She won’t last.”
Won’t last? What the heck did that mean?
“I was going to bring this subject up,” Cole grunted and crossed his arms. “I want her to come.”
If I had been drinking, I would have choked, and if I had been smoking, I think I still would have choked.
“Why?” I spoke, and looked at the four of them. Each had an understanding expression, but yet I was in the dark.
“She doesn’t like being left alone,” Tyler answered me, and turned to look me in the eye. “She might look tough and fearless, but she isn’t.”
I knew this, and I felt like punching him for telling me about my girlfriend. My expression turned bitter, and I knew they saw it.
“Look Jax, we don’t like asking for personal favors. Fuck, it pisses me off having to ask this but I want Amber on the ride; but it is club business so it can go to a vote,” Troy said as he crossed his arms.
“She doesn’t like being alone isn’t a big enough reason for her to join a gun run,” I crossed my arms. I wanted to be near Amber, but her coming on this ride would place a greater responsibility on my shoulders. I would have to keep every wanker away from her, without bringing it to her brothers’ attention, and, on top of that, I have to lead a successful dangerous run.
But then if she was with me, I would know she was safe.
“She’s coming,” Cole growled at me, but his statement meant nothing.
“Not if that is the only reason,” I snapped back.
“Amber can’t be left alone,” Adam said calmly at me, knowing that threats wouldn’t get any of them far. “She isn’t well enough.”
“She’s sick?” I arched an eyebrow, although I knew she wasn’t. She had been anything but sick last night. I wanted to groan; why would I bring those memories to myself at this moment?
“She’s on a list,” Tyler muttered. “We have been handling it, so it didn’t relate to the club.”
