Who Wants that Perfect Love Story Anyway 2: The FAM Page 9

I don’t know what type of shit they had going on but I’m not that nigga. She has been walking around like I did something to her when she was the one who crushed my heart. I guess she took the silent treatment I gave her all these years as a betrayal.

She punched me in my arm. “Nigga, you just ate.”

“So what. I’m still hungry. You know that bullshit don’t fill me up. I really got taste for something else but it’s not on the menu right now,” I laughed.

“If my Hello Kitty wasn’t bleeding, I would put her right on your smart ass mouth,” she said.

“Shorty, you can’t take my tongue or my dick. If memory serves me correctly, I made you piss yourself about a week ago and your pussy was swollen as fuck. You couldn’t even walk so don’t sit up here making like you about that life.”

“I hate your ass,” she pouted.

I pulled her over so she could straddle me. “Me and you both know that’s a lie. Now go fix my sandwich. You know how I get when I get hungry.”

I squeezed her ass. She mushed me then hopped up. “No onions and mustard, right?” she asked.

“You got it,” I told her. My phone vibrated in my pocket. It was Quayla.

I hit the IGNORE button I couldn’t understand what was going on between me and Jamie but she was still married and my girl still lived with me. I was in a fucked up situation because I knew that I wasn’t going to stop fucking with Jamie. Eventually, Quayla was going to get tired of my bullshit.

I went over to Pam’s for Sunday dinner. It felt odd without Royal and Cam. They were still in Cuba. Parker was even over there so dinner was more quiet than usual. I know everyone thinks Koran shot Royal but I don’t think he did. When we went school together, we would dap each other up but my niggas were my niggas. If some shit were to pop off, I wouldn’t mind blasting his ass but that nigga is not built like that. He might talk his shit but shooting someone...I’m not buying that. I would have to be there to witness that in order to believe Koran be busting his gun. Whoever shot Royal was someone who was close. They knew his moves and caught him slipping.

Ashaun shows up putting on a front by being all nice to Jamie. I looked at him and felt like splitting his shit. He even had the nerve to grab her ass. She felt me staring because she smacked his hands away.

“Fuck’s wrong with you?” Corey asked. That motherfucker doesn’t miss shit.

“Say what you mean, nigga,” I told him. I had a feeling this nigga knew what the fuck was going on with me and his sister.

“It looks like you want take that nigga’s head off. What you getting jealous for? You let that nigga take your girl. I don’t know what happened because y’all some secretive motherfuckers but it had to be serious for y’all to act like y’all don’t even know each other. I figured if you wanted me to know you would’ve told me about you and my sister. She didn’t want anyone to know either because she didn’t say shit to anyone. I knew then it wasn’t meant for anyone to find out. I didn’t even know she was pregnant until I read a text in Tee-Tee’s phone telling her she had a miscarriage.”

“Yeah, no one knew she was. I found out from Ashaun when I ran into him a few weeks ago. He was telling me to check up on her on my way home because she was having complications. Hold up nigga! Fuck you mean we’re secretive when you and Tee-Tee been fucking each other on the low?” I laughed.

“Yeah, whatever, nigga. What you mean by he sent you to check up on her? I know they broke up and shit but she was carrying his seed that was his job.” Corey was heated.

“Nigga, you did the same shit to Tee-Tee when she was pregnant. You didn’t even call the girl.”

“I didn’t have to. I knew what the fuck was up with my seed though. I paid her doctor to call me to let me know how her appointments were and who came with her and all that shit. I might not have been there but I knew what the fuck was up. But that’s different. Jamie my fucking sister.”

“You’re a confused ass nigga. But how you know about me and Jamie?” if this crazy ass nigga was spying on me, I was going to fuck his ass up.

“When you used to crash over our shit, I noticed how y’all would get all quiet and shit when someone came around. One night when Ma was out of town and we had that big ass house party, I heard y’all fucking in the pantry. I didn’t say shit because I could tell you really cared about her. I knew she cared for you too. Besides, you’re my nigga so you know I’m going always root for your bitch ass,” he laughed. I dapped him up.

“Go on and get your girl, man. Since y’all stop fucking with each other, y’all haven’t been right. She married a bitch ass nigga and you started fucking everything that walks,” he said.

“Ashaun is like family though.” I was confused because I didn’t want step on the nigga’s toes. At the same time, I didn’t want him with her. Since I got a feel of that pussy again, I wasn’t going to fall back like that.

“You had her first. She doesn’t belong to him. I don’t give a fuck if she got the nigga’s last name. You can’t help who you love. I still fuck with Tee-Tee after she fucked a nigga I’ve known for years. Sometimes, I still feel like beating her ass but I felt even worst when we weren’t together. I don’t know what happened between y’all but it’s time to let that shit go, my G.”

“You want me get her ass back because I used to fuck with her or because of what he did to you?” I asked. Corey wasn’t slick. I believe he wanted me to be with his sister but I also believe he want the nigga to see how it feels.

“Both nigga.” We burst out laughing. He was a crazy dude but he was my ace.

“Corey, hold Coren while I go help out in the kitchen,” Tee-Tee said handing him the baby. I still can’t believe his crazy ass is someone’s father.

“Shorty, you think your ass is slick too. Her little ass is jamming,” he fussed. Tee-Tee gave him the finger then walked out of the living room.

“I’m ready change and feed baby girl and you go handle that.” he walked away. I shook my head.

Before I could even get up, Quayla plopped right down beside me. I forgot all about her riding here with me.

“What’s going on with you, Killa?” she asked.

“Nothing. Why? What’s up?” I asked, sipping my Henny.

“Why are you being all distant and shit? You’ve been having these mood swings lately and you don’t even sleep next to me anymore. Why the fuck you keep falling asleep on the couch?” she asked.

“Quayla, let’s discuss this shit later at home please. It’s not the right time or the place for this conversation.”

She actually agreed and kissed me on the lips and that’s only because Jamie was walking towards us. Jamie stays throwing shade and barely said two words to Quayla when she comes around. I think Quayla must have picked up on it.

“Well, aren’t you two cute so adorable.” Jamie said sarcastically.

Quayla rolled her eyes “When are we going home, Killa?” she asked me.

Before I could answer, Jamie beat me to it. “When he finishes eating dinner like he has been doing over here the past eight years,” she responded.

“Well, that’s about to change.” Quayla stated smartly.

“I doubt that. Your man loves to eat with his big appetite. Killa never turns down a meal,” Jamie smiled.

She was being real slick but it wouldn’t be her if she wasn’t. Quayla didn’t even catch on because she didn’t say anything. She ran off every woman I brought around. I don’t get involved in her business. You would think she would show me the same respect.

I grabbed my plate to go then left. I didn’t have time for Jamie’s smart-ass mouth. I dropped Quayla off to her mother’s house and kept it moving. She could stay there for the night. I didn’t want to argue because that’s what we did as soon as we got into the car. All she does is question me about Jamie because Jamie always throwing slurs at her. I needed time to think to myself then my phone rang. It was Jamie.

  “What?” I answered.
>
“So you leave because that bitch wanted you too?” she snapped.

“Why the fuck are you worried about me and my girl when you’re still married? You let that nigga touch all on you and shit but you see I’m not tripping.” I responded.

“You wanted to. I caught you mugging like you always do so cut the bullshit. Come over here and take a nap with me.”

“Shorty, I’m not fucking with you tonight,” I laughed.

“fine.” she hung up on me. I was going to holla at her later but on my time. Shorty got the game fucked up.

I pulled up to my studio building that I bought. It was still empty because it was being remolded. I’m working on having my own record label. I even got a few niggas that are waiting to get signed but I have to wait until everything is done. This hustling shit is cool but I want a legit life. By this time next year, I will be completely out of the drug game.

  Tee-Tee

Coren was five weeks old now. I can’t believe it but I really enjoy motherhood. Whatever doubts I had at first are completely gone. I had her in her little rocker while I prepared dinner. Hanging over Pam’s house on Sundays taught me how to cook.

I was in the kitchen making stuffed flounder with lump crabmeat, mixed veggies, rice, and seafood salad. I also made a red velvet cake from scratch. I’m staying out the streets and letting my man do him. However, I will find out what the fuck happened to Royal. We don’t know because he is still in a coma. I have a feeling he is going to wake up. When he does, we are getting to the bottom of this shit. It’s like no one knows nothing and we hit a dead end.

Since Corey whipped Rashaad’s ass, he has been acting right. Raymond and Rashaad were at their aunt’s house. I don’t fuck with them people. I totally detached myself because I felt betrayed. Everyone knew that bitch wasn’t my mother and no one said shit. I feel disgusted about my life. I was fine as long as I stayed away from everyone. I still don’t regret killing my parents. If I could, I would do it all over again.

Ashaun and Corey are even starting to talk again, which I’m glad about. I would hate for Royal to wake up into this nonsense. It was finally peaceful, although Ashaun was starting to flaunt his new bitch around like it wasn’t a problem. However, if Jamie was cool with it then so was everyone else.

Corey walked into the kitchen with a wife beater on and basketball shorts. My man has gotten thick. He went from 185 to 210. That extra weight looked good on him. His shoulders and chest were nice and broad. His dreads hung down loosely and his fronts were in his mouth. I would kill a bitch over him, real talk.

“Damn, shorty, you hungry or something?” he asked.

I rolled my eyes. He knows he looks good. He wrapped his arms around me from behind. He towered over me so his chin was rested on the top of my head.

“You feel that?” he asked. His thick erection was poking me right between the crack of my ass.

I pulled away from him. “We can’t do shit until my six week checkup, boo.”

“Come on, girl, I need some pussy,” he said.

“That’s how we got Coren because your horny ass couldn’t wait.”

“So what you’re saying is that you don’t want to give me another baby?” he asked. Corey was really fucking crazy if he thought I was getting pregnant anytime soon.

“Hell no, nigga.” I laughed then he smacked my ass.

“Something smells good in here.” Jamie came switching into the kitchen. She kissed my cheek. For someone who recently had a miscarriage, she was in a good mood.

“Y’all doing big things. This house almost as big as mine,” she joked.

She and Ashaun’s house was too damn big. Killa walked in behind her. Those two have been close lately. She even looks happy. I have never seen this girl smile so damn much. This FAM was off the hook. You could even say ratchet.

The guys dapped each other up.

“I thought you were bringing Quayla?” I asked.

I didn’t know what was going on but I didn’t want Quayla to pop up starting shit. There will be no drama at this residence. I wasn’t too crazy about Quayla. I only tolerated her because her man was my man’s best friend. I didn’t like Quayla too much because her sister was still calling my man’s phone. I noticed Myla would call every time Quayla came around so I knew that bitch was reporting to her.

Jamie sucked her teeth. “Would you rather for me to leave?” she snapped at me.

“Girl, shut the hell up. This is your brother’s home too and we are family. You are always welcome here I just don’t what no drama.” I snapped back.

“That bitch better not show up.” Jamie pointed at Killa and he laughed.

“You jealous, baby girl?” he asked wrapping his arms around her. He kissed her lips. I have never seen Killa be all lovey dovey with a female. I couldn’t take it anymore.

“Are y’all fucking or something?” I asked.

“Mind your business, Teyana.” Corey answered for them.

“Something like that. Remember you asked me months ago who the guy who has my heart was? I told you he was right in your face. I was talking about Killa,” she answered all nonchalantly.

“What?” I looked at Corey. “Baby, are they serious?”

“They are grown. They can do what the fuck they want to do. I’ve always known but I don’t know why they kept it a secret.”

“That’s because Royal would’ve flipped and you know that,” she answered him.

“This is so wrong. Ashaun and Killa are cool,” I told Jamie.

“Cut the damn crap, Tee-Tee. Everyone does shit they are not supposed to. You, of all people, should know that shit. At least we had history. He was before Ashaun. What was your excuse?” Jamie asked.

“I don’t want you make the same mistake I made and regret it,” I said sadly. If she was happy then I was happy for her.

“The only mistake I have ever made was marrying someone while in love with another man. Don’t worry about me. I didn’t mean come at you like that but Killa is where my heart is and always be,” she responded.

“Enough of the sentimental shit. Can we eat? A nigga is hungry,” Killa said and we burst out laughing because he was always hungry.

“We all should have one big ass orgy,” I mumbled to myself.

I wasn’t being a hypocrite about her fucking homeboys but we needed peace. Although Ashaun is doing him, there’s going to be some shit between him and Killa. I was out of it though. Wait until I talk to Cam. I’m sure she probably already knows. She and Jamie have been friends way before I came in the picture.

We sat down and ate. I ate quietly. The fact that I fucked around with Ashaun was still on my mind because it still bothered me. Jamie noticed my silence.

“Come on, Teyana, lighten up. You came at me so I came back at you. Stop worrying about that,” she pouted playfully.

I laughed at her to lighten the mood “You are a brat, you know that? You know what you be doing with that puppy dog face,” I laughed.

“She gets everyone like that,” Corey said.

Killa turned to Jamie. “Hey boo, you know when you get all old and shit that face is not going to work on a nigga, right?”

We roared in laughter. “What are you trying say?” Jamie asked.

“It’s cool Since you are young and cute as shit, but, when your ass gets old and ugly, don’t make that face is all I’m saying.” he told her. I had tears in my eyes.

We kicked back and chatted Jamie and I were sipping wine. Killa and Corey were sipping Henny. Coren was still knocked out in her rocker.

“We all should go on a vacation to Cuba to see Royal, Cam, and Parker. I miss them,” Jamie said.

We all agreed. All we had to do was to see if it was okay with Leodonis. I haven’t met him but I heard that he was a difficult man. He wasn’t allowing anyone to come to his home but Parker, Cam, and

  Pam.

Our doorbell rang. Corey got up to answer it. A few moments later, all I heard was arguing.

  “Y
ou are going to take care of this baby!” I heard a female scream. I ran into the hallway. It was Myla. She was pointing her finger yelling in my man’s face. This bitch was bold. How did this bitch even know where we lived?

“What the fuck is this bitch doing in my house?” I screamed.

“Looks like we are going to be sharing a baby daddy, girlfriend- in- law.” Myla answered smartly and rubbed her stomach.

I went into the family room to get Coren. I walked her down the hall to her room. I laid her down in her crib then grabbed her baby monitor. I went to our bedroom and grabbed the pistol I kept under our mattress. I tucked it in the back of my leggings. They were still arguing when I came back.

“How far along are you?” I asked her.

  “Six weeks,” she answered.

“You cheating motherfucker. We’ve been back together for three months.” I charged into Corey but Killa grabbed me.

“Why the fuck are you lying, Myla? You know damn well I haven’t fucked you since I came back to my shorty,” he yelled at her.

“What’s going on in here?” Quayla asked. I knew this bitch brought Myla to our house. Quayla has been over a few times with Killa and I knew that it would blow over one day.

“Why the fuck did you bring this bitch to my fucking home? My family lays their heads here and you bring this drama to my front door?” I was hyped now. I was ready to whip some asses.

“Oh hold the hell up, bitch. Your man needs to take care of his responsibility,” Quayla said like the baby was already here.

“Bitch, you know you’re wrong.” Jamie kicked off her red bottoms. Jamie tried grabbing Quayla but Corey pushed her back. I pulled my gun out from behind my back and pointed it at Quayla and Myla.

  “Talk shit now, bitches.”

“Chill the fuck out, Tee-Tee. Our daughter is in here!” Corey shouted. He tried grabbing me.
