Love, Laughter and Happily Ever After: A Short Story Collection

Reaching between them, she undid his pants and claimed him with her hands. When she squeezed him, his moan was one of both pleasure and pain.
He desired to dominate her, to claim her as his. No man would share her bed again if he had his way.
He removed her hand and stroked himself. He was hard as marble. Reaching between her thighs, he plunged two fingers into the moisture he found there and used it on his cock. She watched him stroke his length, her hips undulating in a silent plea.
“You asked to be fucked,” he said, meeting her eyes before thrusting into her warmth. “And so you shall be.” He thrust again, harder and deeper. Her eyes rolled back into her head, but she made no move to take control.
With each thrust, he rocked deep within her. He could feel his entire cock wrapped in her wet heat. He needed more, so he lifted her legs, placing them on his shoulders. The new angle allowed him to lean forward so his pelvis hit the spot that made her moan louder.
“More,” she whispered. “More.”
Wanting to please her, he reached between their bodies to find the secret hidden below her curls. The pearl found there was the reward he sought.
He felt Fiona clench and spasm around him, her back arching off the bed.
Let the fools and addled seek gems and gold. Wise men knew that a woman’s pleasure was the rarest treasure.
Fiona opened her eyes and smiled at him. “Come for me.”
“As you wish, mi’ lady,” he replied. Unable to hold back any longer, he thrust into her twice more before tremoring and filling her. Resting his head on her bosom, he panted, trying to catch his breath.
Her hand came up to stroke his hair and he turned to face her. He couldn’t resist seizing the opportunity to kiss her again and he leaned toward her.
Loud knocks on the cabin’s door stopped him before their lips could meet.
“Captain?” Scully’s voice carried through the thick wood of the door.
“Scully, I told you to only interrupt me if we were being pursued.”
“Aye, Captain. We are.”
Chapter 7
Fiona
Fiona reacted to Scully’s words by shoving Will out of the way and leaping out of the bed.
“Who is in pursuit?” she asked, donning whatever clothing lay on the floor. She tossed Will’s shirt over her head and tied it with the sash of silk from her robe; it would have to do. There was no time for corsets and pantaloons.
“A warship of the Royal Navy, Captain,” Scully answered.
Fiona’s eyes widened. “Get dressed. You don’t want to be caught without your pants when the Royal Navy is involved.”
“Has Robert prepared the cannon if needed?” Fiona asked.
“No, Mistress. Fair Robert cannot be found.”
Fiona flung open the door to find Scully standing there, wringing his hands.
“Well, why the hell not? Is he sleeping?”
“Nay, the ship’s been searched. As soon as the Union Jack was spotted, the call went out for Robert. He’s gone. The skiff’s gone, too. He’s abandoned ship, mi’ lady.”
“That bilgewater, barnacled cock, scurvied bastard,” Fiona swore as she shoved past Scully with Will in her wake.
Ships could be seen in the distance when they reached the deck. Sebastien was at the helm and the sails were unfurled. The Mi’Lady had size and speed on her side, but the Navy had the numbers and weaponry on theirs.
“Bloody hell. If I ever lay eyes upon Fair Robert again, it will be my pleasure to cut off his jewels. Filthy traitor. Shark bait is too good for him.”
She took the helm from Sebastien and ordered the crew to prepare. “If we can get ahead of them, we can find safe harbor in Turtle Cove. We’ve been spotted, but they don’t know anything more than we’re a ship without the King’s flag.”
Will approached her, looking nervous. “How can I be of service, Captain?”
She smiled at him. “Are you ready for the pirate life, Mr. Mountwell?”
“I’ll go wherever you go, Fiona.” He bowed his head before lowering his lips and kissing her.
Rowdy cheers burst from the crew.
Fiona broke the kiss and gave the crew a stern warning with her eyes. “Aye, yes, I’ve been kissed. Anyone who mentions it again, shall be the first to walk the plank. Are we clear?”
The crew nodded and murmured, “Yes, Captain,” behind smiles.
“Right then, let’s focus. We have a Royal Navy to outrun.” She turned and shouted orders to the crew to open the sails as she took the helm. “Let’s show those fools that no warship will overtake the Mi’Lady. All hands on deck!”
The wind was in their favor as they soon put a knot, then two, between them and the masts of the warship. The pirate ship was smaller and easily maneuvered to take advantage of the winds. Calm seas and cloud cover aided their escape as the Mi’Lady cut silently through the waves.
“Land ho!” called One Eyed Jack from his perch in the crow’s nest.
Fiona peered through the indigo night, which was quickly turning to violet with the approaching dawn, to see the faint outline of a small island that was home to one of her hiding places. A sheltered cove invisible to the unfamiliar eye would provide them safe port for the time.
As the Mi’Lady sailed into Turtle Cove and the sun hit the sails, they turned a pale pink. The Pink Pearl had escaped capture once again. Nevertheless Fiona knew that Fair Robert was out there somewhere, biding his time and his secrets to the highest offer. Now that she had Will by her side again, she felt invincible, but how much longer could she sail the high seas foiling her uncle’s quest to find her and bring her back to England?
I've always planned to continue these adventures on the high seas.
