Her Real Alpha

“You have your own private jet?” I asked and he nodded.

“Yes, I’m a billionaire, Melanie,” he said frankly and I laughed at his expression and he cracked a small smile.

So I really was dating two billionaires? I had suspected Caleb was rich, but not…that rich.

“Um, well I would hate to be in a five-hour flight that would cut into our two days in LA, so I guess we should leave tonight,” I said and Caleb nodded.

“That’s what I was going to suggest, I already have a duffel bag packed in the car, you know, just in case you said yes and all,” he smiled at me innocently.

“Yeah, that or you were planning on kidnapping me anyway,” I said.

“If I were going to kidnap you, Melanie, I would have done it as soon as you opened the door,” he said and I chuckled.

“Well, let me go pack some stuff. What is the weather going to be like over there this weekend?” I asked as I walked back to my bedroom and Caleb followed me while he read off the forecast. It was going to be windy and in the seventies, the west coast was having it good for fall. The seventies were, quite literally, spring or even early summer weather in New York.

I had to admit, I was excited as I packed. I was going to LA…to eat! I was starting to have second thoughts about the “choice” I made the other night after my talk with mom. I mean, after all, I was attracted to Caleb. I wasn’t attracted to Peter because I had grown up with him and he was my best friend.

Once I got everything I would need for the weekend packed in a little overnight carry on, I changed into some traveling clothes and then went out into the living room where Caleb was waiting. He was still in his suit from work and I wondered if he was going to change into something more comfortable.

“All set?” he asked me and eyed my carry on almost suspiciously. “That’s all you need?” he asked me and I laughed a little.

  “Yeah? Why’d you ask?”

Caleb shrugged and he stood up from the couch.

“It’s just that, I have a sister and when she goes away for a day even, she brings a full sized suitcase,” Caleb said and I laughed for real that time.

“Hey, I can pack killer outfits in a small suitcase. I just know exactly what I’ll need for the weekend and my ‘just in case’ stuff fits in there also,” I said and Caleb looked at the bag curiously that time.

“So it’s one of those magic suitcases that goes on forever and you can pack just as many things as you want in there? Like in Mary Poppins?” he asked and I chuckled.

“Yes, Caleb, that’s exactly it,” I said and he grinned at me.

“I knew it,” he said smugly and I laughed.

We left the apartment and went down to his car so that he could drive us to LaGuardia. It was cool to get into the back way of the airport so that he could drive right up to his jet so we could board.

“This is really cool,” I said and Caleb smiled at me as we got out of his car with our bags and walked up to the steps of the sleek white jet.

“It’s something I splurged on when one of the stocks I was invested in for a long time paid off big. My family doesn’t know I have it,” Caleb said and an attendant came from the interior of the jet to get our bags from us and lead us inside.

The cabin was nice and cozy with plush looking cream colored seats and then an area that looked like a living room made to fit into a plane. Beyond that was a little hallway that probably had a bathroom and stewardess closet.

“Why doesn’t your family know you have it? Living double lives, Caleb?” I asked him and he chuckled.

I was still looking down that little hallway because I didn’t see a stewardess closet back there, it was up by the cockpit.

“No, if they did know to the full extent of how much I’m worth and some of the things I really have…it would be different. My brothers and I, we all have this unspoken competition, you know? I mean, we’re brothers so we try to best each other.

If they knew I had it like this, then they’d look at me differently. I think my sister is the only one who has an idea,” he said.

I had turned around to look at him as he sat on one of the plush seats that actually swiveled around.

“Can’t any one of them just look up your net worth?” I asked and he shrugged.

“They wouldn’t think to do that unless they suspected that I was better off than I let on,” he said and I nodded.

I didn’t quite expect to have a conversation about the woes of being rich with Caleb. Hunter maybe, but coming from Caleb it was almost odd.

“So what’s back there?” I asked Caleb.

He glanced past me before he smirked.

“That’s the bedroom,” he said and my eyes widened a fraction as I nodded.

“Oh…okay, I was trying to guess,” I said and he grinned at me a little mischievously, but otherwise didn’t say anything because the pilot and co-pilot had come out to introduce themselves and tell us that we’d be in the sky soon. I sat down in the seat next to Caleb and settled in for take-off.

“You aren’t going to be uncomfortable in the same clothes you’ve been in all day?” I asked Caleb and he smiled at me again with that same mischievous glint.

“I’ll change once we’re in the air,” he said and I nodded.

I was looking out of the window as the plane was positioned on the tarmac and then started taxiing towards the runway.

“Have you been to California before?”

  I nodded.

“I’ve been to San Francisco to meet with a publisher, but luckily he moved to the city the year after. I still paint for his publishing house.”

Caleb nodded thoughtfully. The pilot got on the intercom and told us to buckle up once we were positioned to take off, and five minutes later we were taking off into the air. I realized that I needed to tell my brother or someone that I would be in LA for the weekend in case something happened.

“Have you ever heard of the mile-high club, Mel?” Caleb asked me and I turned my attention from the glittering city below us over to Caleb and grinned.

“Yeah, I have actually, but I’m not a member,” I said shyly and Caleb gave me that smile again.

“Well, I think I’ll need a little help changing my clothes, you know I’ve been in this suit all day,” Caleb said and I laughed.

  “You’re such a dork,” I said.

Caleb nodded as if he knew that already.

“That’s why they pay me the big bucks,” he said and got up.

I stood up and he took my hand to lead me back to the bedroom. I didn’t know if I was quite in the mood for sex…with Caleb.

“Can we take a nap instead? Isn’t there a time difference, by the time we get to LA we should be adjusted to the time,” I said and Caleb furrowed his eyebrows at me in bemusement.

“You’re tired?” he asked and I simply pressed my lips together and nodded. “Okay,” he said simply and then went over to a compartment to the left of the bed to take out his duffel bag. “Get comfortable, I’m going to change,” he said and I studied his face as he left the room. He didn’t seem particularly upset or anything. I just shrugged and then sat on the soft bed before I stretched out diagonally and rested my head on a pillow.

“This is a soft bed for a plane,” I said when I heard the door open and then click closed. “Did you splurge on the bed too?” I asked and then looked up at him as he climbed onto the bed. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt, he really did know how to rock the jeans and t-shirt look.

“Ha-ha,” he said and then kissed my shoulder.

I closed my eyes and actually dozed off a little. Then I felt Caleb’s lips on my collarbone, then slide to the base of my throat as his hands slipped underneath my blouse.

“Caleb…” I said softly and he hummed against my skin as he kissed my neck again. He pulled the cup of my bra down past my nipple so that he could pinch it between his fingers.

“Are you really tired?” he murmured and I shook my head.

  “Not anymore,
 I said and he chuckled.

Caleb nipped at my neck and then pushed my shirt off altogether. His mouth went directly to my breasts and he pulled one nipple in between his teeth while one of his hands undid my jeans and slipped underneath the waistband. I moaned when his fingers made contact with my clitoris. I arched into his hand as his finger started to rub circles against my clit.

Caleb’s mouth left my breast and moved to the other. As soon as his teeth grazed against my nipple, a sharp orgasm took me completely by surprise. I cried out as his fingers continued to rub against my clit and then he pulled his hand back to take off my pants and pull his shirt over his head.

He tossed the clothing to the ground and then nibbled his way from my neck to my belly button. I felt the sensation deep in my belly and had to giggle because it did tickle. Caleb pulled my panties off in one easy motion and then he spread my legs so that he could settle in between them with my knees resting on his shoulders. My sex clenched in anticipation and Caleb’s eyes seemed to be like molten chocolate as he gazed at my wet folds.

“It’s so pretty and pink,” he said as he spread my folds open and blew on my entrance. All I could do was lie there and watch to see what he would do next. That was definitely not the same Caleb I had sex with the first time.

“You’re complimenting…my vagina?” I asked and he laughed, but nodded his head.

“Yes, you smell good, too,” he said, then he lowered his mouth and I felt his tongue push into me. I whimpered softly as he hummed in appreciation and then lifted his head again. “Taste good, too, you’re perfect,” he said and then he lowered his head and flicked his tongue out against my clit. Caleb slid two fingers into me slowly and then pressed right against my G-spot. I cried out as he thrust against it while his tongue teased my clit.

  “Caleb…Caleb!”

I cried out his name as he didn’t let up and then I was breaking into a million pieces as another orgasm coursed through me. Caleb didn’t stop at my orgasm, he kept going until my hips were six inches off the bed and my body was lost to another orgasm. I had to admit that I was a little dazed, and then I heard Caleb pulling off his pants and soon he was slowly pushing into me.

I moaned breathlessly and then pushed at Caleb’s chest so that he would lie on his back with me straddling him. I rocked my hips against his and bent my head to kiss him deeply while I circled my hips and ground onto his thick cock. He felt amazing, filling me up completely.

I straightened and Caleb held on tightly to my hips as I began to ride him. He moved his hips in tandem with my rhythm and the angle that he was going into me was sending shock wave after shock wave of pleasure through me. It felt intense, but so good that I was largely speechless until I splintered off into an overwhelming orgasm.

“Fuck, yes, Mel…squeeze me tight baby,” Caleb moaned and then he was gripping my ass and pumping into me fast and hard, drawing out my orgasm and then sending me into another that left me completely spent.

I wasn’t aware of anything until I felt Caleb’s fingers tracing patterns on my back.

“Wake up Mel, we’re about to land soon,” he whispered softly and my eyes blinked open.

“Did I pass out?” I asked and I felt the rumble of his chuckle against my chest as I was sprawled out on top of him.

“You did, I’m immensely proud of myself,” he said and I giggled.

“You should be…I have no words for what that was,” I said shyly and then looked up into Caleb’s brown eyes. They were alight with good humor.

“Come on, let’s get dressed,” he said and I let him put my clothes back on for me and watched him with much interest as he got dressed.

  Chapter9

  Caleb

Melanie and I got settled in the seats out in the common cabin and soon after we were landing at LAX. I kept smiling at her because she looked as if she had just smoked a joint.

“Stop laughing at me…I’m really relaxed right now,” she said and I laughed out right. She punched my shoulder as we were getting up.

The flight attendant got our bags outside and into the car for us. He had the easiest job that night, as we were in the bedroom the entire time.

It was dark and breezy as soon as we stepped out of the plane. It wasn’t a chilly or biting breeze, though, and that was a nice change.

“So do you have any places you’ve heard of in LA that you’d like to check out?” I asked her and she smiled as she slid her phone out of her purse.

“It’s only been an hour?” Melanie said, shocked, as she stared at the time on her phone.

I couldn’t help but laugh at her. She looked at me with that slightly confused and rueful expression someone often got when being laughed at and having missed the joke.

“No, your phone automatically changed to west coast time. It seems like it’s only been an hour because LA is three hours behind us in New York,” I explained and slowly Mel’s expression cleared as she got it.

“So we didn’t, like, pass through any sort of space time continuum?” she asked.

“Not in the sense I’m sure you’re thinking of,” I said and she gave me a look that said, “Just don’t go there, you’ll only confuse me more.”

“I’m not usually this slow…it’s just that this sex expert attacked me earlier and I haven’t fully recovered,” Melanie said and I grinned at her salaciously that got me a giggle in return.

We reached the Mercedes waiting for us and the driver came out to introduce himself as Charles and asked us where we’d be going.

“The hotel first, Charles, and then we’ll want to go out to eat in about forty-five minutes from there,” I told him.

Once we were all in the car, Charles efficiently navigated through LA traffic and got us to the Ritz in probably record time. As soon as we got to our suite, Mel walked into the bedroom and fell right onto it.

“Do you need like a five-hour energy pill or something Mel?” I asked her and she shook her head.

“No, this is just how you make sure a hotel is a good hotel you know? You test the bed first,” she said and then she proceeded to roll around in it before she got to her feet and started to jump on it. I stood by the door and leaned against the wall to watch her with a smirk.

“So what’s your assessment?” I asked and she grinned and gave me a thumbs up.

“It’s very comfortable and good for having sex on, no banging of the headboard and such,” she said.

  “Well, thank goodness for that.”

She nodded and then hopped off of the bed.

“So can we go get the best tacos in LA tonight?” she asked and I smiled.

“That was so going to be my suggestion. I’m thinking our food souls get along great.”

Mel laughed and nodded. “Yep, it will be a great and fulfilling two days, for sure.”

We both hurried to get dressed, as Charles was either waiting patiently downstairs, or would be back shortly to pick us up. Once we got to the taco place and found a nice seat outside, Melanie and I had a long portion of comfortable silence that wasn’t really silent. The tacos were so good we couldn’t help the occasional moan of pleasure.

“So, Mel, if you don’t mind me asking…how come you don’t drive?” I had always been curious about that, but always forgot to ask her.

“Well, I figure…it’s the city, you know? So there’s a lot of other ways to get around than dealing with the traffic. So that’s a lot of money I’m saving that I don’t have to put out on keeping up a car,” she said and I nodded.

“Fair enough…” I said thoughtfully and Melanie titled her head slightly.

“Why do you ask?” she said and I shrugged.

“I’ve always just wondered. I know a lot of people in the city don’t have a car, but you said you were from upstate and all…” I shrugged and Melanie sort of chuckled.

“Caleb, are you secretly a little bit…I don’t know, into the extra stuff?” Melanie asked curiously.

I could see on her face that she wasn’t t
rying to be a wise ass or anything, so I answered her question honestly.

“Yeah, I am I guess. I like being successful enough that I can afford the stuff I want or dreamed of having.”

“Huh,” she said and I quirked an eyebrow at her.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” I asked her and she shrugged.

“You know when I crash the elite parties or the business parties or the fundraiser galas, I kind of picked up on a pattern of the sort of people that I’ll meet at those events, individually. The fundraiser types are all good-natured, often worked their way up from little to nothing, just want to give back or help out. Then there are the people who are so rich that they might as well give to a good cause…” She paused to take a sip of her margarita and then continued.
