The story in this would be OK apart from the very poor English. It reminds me of Enid Blyton. There is very little description that helps you believe you are in that time and place. In addition when you get to the climax the main character is able to manipulate every suspect and reveal some secrets about that is just unbelievable. I have also read …various others. This series is not a patch on any of them.
