I push a few things to the side that I don’t recognize until I see a sketchbook I remember her having on the desk in her room. “The shit you took with you, Bets.” I shake my head as I take a seat next to the crate. The book has seen better days. The corners are curled, and the cover is torn. I’m surprised that it’s still connected to the binding. Taking a deep breath, I open the pad and chuckle. It’s her first grade ‘get to know me’ questionnaire.

Name: Betsy Sunshine McCoy Age: 6 almost 7

Favorite People: My brother Favorite Place: Ice Cream Shop

Favorite Food: Sketti Favorite Hobby: Drawing

  Who’s your hero: Tylan

I slide the piece of paper to the side and flip through the pad, looking at drawing after drawing. Betsy in pink dresses riding on tigers with a wand in her hand. My father with his greasy blue overalls and smudges of dirt on his face. My mother, always sad, always frowning, sometimes sleeping on a bed of flowers. Then there are pictures of me in superhero capes fighting the bad guys, protecting the princess, always with a smile on my face and hearts of love in my eyes.

There’s a light knock on my door and I know it’s not one of the guys. I’m not in the fucking mood to deal with Jenni. I’m afraid I’ll give into what she wants if I see her right now and that’s not what I need to do.

I swing the door open only to find not one, but two pairs of blue eyes staring back at me. The fucking twins. Twist and Poppy have the biggest set of tits I’ve ever seen. Fucking lord knows I’m a tit man, and these two have more than enough for me. Both of their skirts are short enough that I can see neither one of them are wearing underwear. Glancing up, I give a little thank you to the man upstairs because this is exactly what I need right the fuck now.

  “You busy?”

  Fuck, I love my life.

I chuckle. “I am now. Twist, get ready to sit your pussy on my face. Poppy, get the fuck on your knees.”

Allowing the stress of the day to evaporate, I do what I do best. I take back control of my life and I lick some fucking pussy. After finishing round one, I sit back against the headboard, watching the girls and finally feeling relaxed after this long ass day.

“Aren’t you going to join us?” Poppy asks as she runs her fingers down the smooth skin of Twist’s stomach. Her fingers make their way down and over Twist’s bare pussy, sinking her fingers into her tight heat. Twist moans, arching her back. Her fake, bare tits stay perched, nipples hard. The easiest decision I’ve made was letting these two in my room. There’s just something about watching two bitches going at it that makes all the shit I’ve had to deal with lately worth it.

“It looks like you girls don’t need me. I’m good here.”

Poppy maintains her assault by continuing to finger the fuck outta Twist. This girl knows her way around a pussy. I fucking love to watch women get themselves off. Seeing the fucking lust in their eyes. Their fingers sinking into the lips of their pussy, seeing their arousal on their fingers. It fucking blows my mind.

These two are like machines. They’re always up for a party, always willing to sit their snatch on my face, allowing me to bite at their clit. Never complaining when I shove my cock down their throats. They always take me deep, sucking, milking every last drop. They know their place and what they’re here for.

The moans coming from Twist as Poppy eats her pussy has me coming back to the present. My balls tighten as I fist my dick in my hand. I like it tight, just like it feels when they suck my shaft. I watch as Twist climaxes and then unwraps her legs from around Poppy’s head. She grabs her by the hair, pulling her up her body and taking her mouth with her own.

They’re so into each other, they forget I’m here.

  Watching…

  Coming…

  Forgetting.

“Why are you pushing Lick into this?” Savannah asks, following me from Cut’s house to Bianca’s.

“Why aren’t you with your baby?” I ask over my shoulder as I enter the front door.

“Oh, mija, you’re back,” Bianca greets us from her spot on the couch. From the sound of overly dramatic music, I can tell she’s watching her telenovelas. When neither of us greets her back, she knows something’s up. “Uh oh, what’s the matter?” She pauses the television, following us into the kitchen. I head straight for the wine.

“Did you know Lick’s sister had children?” Savannah asks her.

“No,” she says, pulling glasses from the shelf.

“Yeah, she had four but only had two in her custody.” Savannah is just full of information. She’s like a freaking walking Wikipedia.

“And what is happening to the children?” she asks as she takes the wine bottle from me and pours us each a glass. I see Savannah eyeing the alcohol, but she refuses a glass. She just needs to pump in order to have a drink with us, but she doesn’t want to miss a single bonding moment with Grace, and I completely understand.

“Well, if it were up to Jenni, he would take them in.”

“But that’s not what Tylan wants?”

“Do you really think that he would want to take on something like that?” she responds.

  “I don’t see why not,” I answer.

“Tylan’s not your typical man so you can’t expect him to have the typical responses,” Bianca states.

  “He’s still human.”

“Si, he is. But that boy has many scars, many demons that he may not be able to overcome.”

“Aren’t we supposed to not allow our past to dictate who we are?”

“It’s not that simple, Jenni, and you know that,” Savannah interjects. “In a perfect world, we should be able to move on from the things of our past, but it’s not that easy.”

“I’m not letting how I was raised tell me who I’m going to be. If that were the case then I’d be married, pregnant and worshiping my husband like a good Christian woman should. I don’t believe that our past makes us who we are. We decide who we are, now, in the present.”

“Aye, mija, Tylan may not be ready for those kids right now. And he may never be.”

“How can he just turn his back on them?” I shake my head. “They’ve both been so let down in life. Why can’t Lick see that? They need someone to fight for them.”

“Mija, don’t force it. You can’t push a man to do what you want. They will only bend so far before they snap. He needs to allow the thought of those kids into his mind before he can allow them to enter his heart. He needs time.”

“Time is the last thing on the list of the things he needs.”

“Jenni, can I ask you something?”

My gaze moves from Bianca to Savannah. “Ask away.”

“Why are you so adamant to have this happen?”

“Because it’s the right thing to do.”

“Are you sure that’s the only reason?”

I rub my finger around the rim of the wine glass. When I lift my eyes to Savannah, I reveal my truth. “If he has the ability to open his heart to those two, then maybe he’ll have the capacity to open his heart to more.”

“To you?” She lifts her eyebrow.

  “Maybe.” I shrug.

“Jenni, do you have a thing for Lick?”

I lift the glass to my lips and drain the rest of my wine. “He’s growing on me.”

“Hey, man, you got a minute?” I ask as I push through the office that Brass likes to do his thing in. At one time, it was Devin Sr.’s. A room usually reserved for the president of the club, but a place that Cut never wanted to make his.

“Sure, what’s up?” he asks as he brings his hands to the back of his head, leaning back in the chair.

I drop my ass into the chair that’s in front of his desk. “I need you to find a few people. Kids.”

  “Go on.”

I crack my neck, trying to loosen the burning of tension that I’ve felt since our meeting with Maggie. Losing myself in sex hasn’t lessened the burden of trying to do right by people I have no desire to know or have in my life. But I get this
tugging in my chest, and I’m not sure it will go away until I know they’re safe.

  “My sister–”

“Betsy Sunshine McCoy, mother of four children. Three boys and one girl, ages fourteen, thirteen, eleven and six–”

  “Why the fuck?”

Brass leans forward. “Listen, Lick. We’re a family, and family help each other. You think that Cut’s gonna let you go through all this shit alone?”

“I didn’t fucking ask for help.”

“I know, man, but if you finally do grow the balls and ask, we’ve already got you covered. Now, do you wanna know the info that I have?”

I nod, not wanting to know, but knowing that I need to know.

It’s been four days since I’ve seen Lick, and by seen I mean from a distance because he sure hasn’t attempted to talk to me or come near me. I’ve called Maggie trying to get any information on Ryder and Roxy, but she can’t tell me anything because I’m not family. Savannah knows nothing, stating Sin hasn’t confided in her. I’ve even paid Cut and Lily a visit, but no one seems to know anything.

“It’s quiet in here,” I announce to a few of The Fallen as I walk into the clubhouse. Twist and Poppy are lounging on the couch, and Scarlett is sitting on the floor next to the twins messing with her tablet. I know she’s an avid reader and loves to write song lyrics. Heather, the club bartender, is behind the bar washing glasses and tidying up.

The music is softly playing in the background, which is so, the total opposite of how it normally is when the guys are around, but they’re not here, so the women have taken over. The clubhouse is your typical biker looking place. It’s worn, rugged and no matter how many times women like Queenie try to soften up the place, it’s always just a biker’s hangout.

“The music’s a nice change, huh?” Heather asks with a smile as I take a seat on one of the barstools.

  “Yeah, totally.”

The clubhouse isn’t normally my thing, but being here for almost six months I’ve had to find some ways to pass my downtime. These girls are good people. I know that when Savannah first arrived they weren’t on friendly terms, and I can see why. She was fresh meat, a nobody who caught Sin’s eye and took him out of the equation. She represented change to a system they were all used to. I have to say that I’ve even felt a shift since Kara, another of The Fallen, was killed. She was the ringleader, and these girls didn’t even so much as blink without her permission.

I’ve spent time outside of the club with these girls. We’ve had lunch. We’ve had our toes done. I’ve grown to care for these girls. My understanding towards people is one of the issues my father has with me which I never understood because The Bible states we shouldn’t judge others. How many times growing up did I hear my father preach on Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. Nevertheless, it seemed he was always the most judgmental person. He wouldn’t agree with my friendship towards these women. He barely tolerated my friendship with Savannah.

“You want something to drink? Wine maybe?”

  “Maybe something stronger?”

She cocks her brow but nods in understanding.

“How long are the guys gone for?” I ask, watching Heather pour several different types of alcohol together, shake them, and then empty them into a large shot glass in front of me.

“Not sure,” Scarlett says as she sits in the seat next to me. “I’m not even sure what they’re gone for.” She lifts her finger to Heather who starts to make the same drink again.

“Do we ever, though?” Twist asks as she sits on the other side of me, grabbing the bottle of red wine and pouring herself a glass.

“It’s not our place to know,” Poppy answers as she comes around the bar and stands next to Heather. She pulls a bottle of whiskey from the well, opens her mouth and pours several shots down her throat. When she snaps her head back upright, her cheeks are flushed. “Whoa, that’s so gonna leave a mark.” She wipes her mouth with the back of her hand.

“How can you gals stand to be here but not really be here? You know these guys are only looking for one thing. They don’t want to know what’s on your mind, or how you feel.” Swirling the cloudy liquid, I bring it to my lips and allow the cool liquid to burn my throat as it goes down. “Holy crap, what is this stuff?”

Heather laughs as she places another glass in front of me. “Just drink.” She pushes the glass closer to me.

“We know what we’re getting ourselves into. We know what we’ve signed up for and its sex,” Twist says, shrugging. “And we’re young. We’re doing what we want before we do what we have to. We aren’t looking for our Mr. Right, just our Mr. Right now.”

The ladies nod with a look of agreement on their faces. “I think this calls for more alcohol, then we’ll tell you, Jenni Girl,” Scarlet says, using Cruise’s nickname for me, “why we stick around.”

The front door opens, and the four of us turn at the sound. Kimmy enters the room, followed by her best friend, Britt. Kimmy’s been around for a while, from what the girls have told me. She was Kara’s right-hand bitch, and she isn’t overly friendly. She’s never once been out with us. She’s taken a liking to Hawk but doesn’t discriminate when it comes to sex or penises.

“More alcohol,” Twist announces, making Poppy and Scarlet laugh but causing Kimmy and Britt to roll their eyes.

“Sounds like a plan.” Heather leans over the glasses that are lined up and pours various liquors. “Line em up, pick em up, tip it back and drink em down, just like a man.” She slams her hand on the bar signaling for us to take our shots. Once the last of the six shot glasses land on the wood, the liquor flows again.

The fruity liquid hits the back of my throat as it burns going down. Suppressing the need to cough, my eyes start to water. “Ah, there you go, Jenni Girl. We’ll make a drinker out of you yet.” She takes the glass from my fingers, pouring me another. It seems times have changed. Makes me remember a conversation I had awhile back.

“Why aren’t you getting smashed with the rest of ’em?” Lick’s voice, close to my ear, sends shivers down my spine.

I’m standing in the corner, near the back exit of the clubhouse. I feel like a fish out of water. If I went out there and danced would I be asking for trouble? Inviting something that I really don’t want? I don’t want to risk it so I’d rather be an observer rather than a doer.

When I glance over my shoulder, I see his eyes, liquid chocolate, consuming me. “I’d rather experience the slower burn,” I say as I take another sip of wine.

“You like slow and steady, Sugar Tits?”

“Slow and steady wins the race.” I take another sip of wine. The welcome sting of alcohol trickles down my throat.

With his hands on my waist, he turns me around. I tilt my head back, meeting his gaze. “Sometimes slow and steady is good. But other times…” he licks his lips, “…other times we just need it fast and hard.”

He tugs my body to his, my chest slams into his, making the wine glass slip from my hand, crashing to the floor. A chuckle passes over his lips when he moves his mouth mere inches from mine.

“Winning comes so much sooner when it’s hard and fast.” His mouth is now closer to my ear. “I’d make exceptions for you, you know?” He nips at my ear. “So many fucking exceptions.”

He pushes his body from mine, walking away.

“And that’s why they need to explain exactly what they want when they say they like the golden showers.” Scarlet shakes her head while visible chills roll through her body. Her words are kinda slurred, and from where I’m standing there’s now two of her.

“How were you supposed to know he wanted to do the peeing, and not the other way around.” Twist asks.

“Exactly. God!” She points her finger towards Twist. “I can still remember what his piss tasted like. It was awful.”

“It’s not as bad as getting shit on,” Kimmy says.

My already queasy stomach revolts at the image of someone shitting on someone else.

  “T
ell me you did not get shit on. And if you did, then who did the shitting?” Scarlet asks.

Kimmy laughed. “Not me, bitch. Kara once told me that she shit on some nomad.”

“How is that even possible?” I ask.

“Kara was doing him cowgirl style. Riding that cock real good. He grabbed her ass cheeks and spread them so far apart that it just slipped out. All that gyrating must have worked some of her shit loose.”

“Or it just meant that her ass was so used she couldn’t keep her shit in.” Poppy starts laughing. “Her ass was worn out!” Slapping the bar with her hand, she starts to lean and lands her butt right on the wooden floors.

“Oh Lord, I’m going to pee myself,” I confess.

“It’s better than shittin’ yourself,” Poppy says, laughing from the floor.

“Let’s head to the couches,” Heather instructs. “I’m not taking any drunk bitches to the hospital. There will be no alcohol related incidences on my watch.”

Heather grabs a pitcher of the cloudy concoction she made earlier and a bottle of whiskey, and Kimmy pulls Poppy up. With our glasses in hand, we all land our drunken butts on the cushions.

“I can’t feel my face.” Poking my nails into the skin of my cheeks, it feels numb.

“Ohh, numb face is the best face,” Britt says.

“What about Rowdy? Didn’t he shove his whole hand up Kara’s vag once?” Scarlet rolls her eyes. “I mean, we all have our quirks, but having some guy literally fist your vag is not okay in my book.”

Choking on my drink, I sit forward as alcohol goodness rolls down my chin, “What’s fisting?”
