Where The Ni-Lach

Dhal stood on the rise overlooking the ruins of the Learning Arc. The shadows of night were fast closing in. He could see a campfire down in the field. Poco, Screech, and Gi were waiting for him, just as they had promised.
As he started downslope, he began to make plans for the future. First they would go to Janchee, then on to Port Sulta in Letsia, and from there perhaps to Jjaan-bi which, he had learned from the Tamorlee, lay to the northeast of the Enzaar Sea.
Somewhere there had to be other Ni, either those who, like himself, had been accidentally left behind as the Tamorlee was taken into another world, or those who had chosen to stay and resist the Sarissa. Surely he could not be the last Ni on Lach.
