“Problem is, I’m not sure I know my real name, either,” Arceneaux said.
“Sometimes you have to know your real name before you can make a big decision,” Harry said. “And sometimes you have to make a big decision before you can know your real name.” He rose to his knees and went to the entrance to the sweat house, pushing it open and letting fresh, cool air in. Then they all went out to the stream and poured water on themselves again.
Driving back to Arlee, Arceneaux and Josh were silent until they reached the south edge of town. Then Josh said, “I bet you can help me find out my real name, Dad.”
Arceneaux took his son’s hand
“Maybe we can help each other,” he said.
