Rachel’s eyebrows scrunched at the answer and Indiana was compelled to support the successful newscaster.
“I’m sure I’ll always pursue speed. Racing is in my blood.” Her dark eyes fell on the man beside her. “But I have really been enjoying the slow life lately.”
The camera captured volumes of emotion between the couple. Rachel courteously stole the attention back.
“Well, folks, you heard it here first, she may or may not come back to these speeding lanes, but Miss Bernstein has plenty of time to decide. We all wish you both the best of luck, and we know that we will see you, Richard, next year.”
He winked at the camera and pulled Indiana into his side. “You bet.”
