“It’s so lovely to meet you,” Elisabeth said, “you look gorgeous by the way.” She motioned them to follow her, then she stopped walking, looked at Kali and said, “but I just knew you would, I just knew.”

A little bit quirky like Ethan, nice, she liked that. They walked into the open kitchen that joined to the Lounge and there were about eight guests. Elisabeth grabbed a red wine for Kali, and Ethan walked Kali to the balcony.

“Your house is so wondrous,” Kali said to Ethan, “and what a beautiful energy. You’re right there is nothing to be nervous about with your mom, she is gorgeous! She is very attractive, but I’m not surprised, no wonder you’re so perfect.”

Ethan was a little unsure what to say. A lot of compliments there, he was flattered. They faced the view, arms around each other and felt the energy between them, the energy of the moment and the stillness of the night, it flowed. It was amazing Ethan thought how beautiful life could be, how love could radiate so much and how pain could eventually dissipate and become depth, and find that love within that was already there waiting to be born, to be noticed.

The night went by like a sea breeze, nothing too intense just like a late night summers wind. It was chilled and mellow, that was the theme tonight. The energy felt so relaxed and calm.

Carl and Christian made a fleeting visit which made the evening even better. They were off to a small party and decided to pop in for a few beers.

They all hung out on the balcony having their drinks. It felt good for Ethan to have quality time with Christian and Carl with Kali with him. The mix was cool. Carl charmingly told Kali she was a cool professor. He said it in such a way that she felt deeply flattered. He really meant it, and looked so cute and young when he said it. Kali found the combinations with her relationships so different now since she had met Ethan. She felt young around Ethan, like she was 16 again, but as she spoke to Carl she was both the 16 year old and the older woman, his teacher, and then there was Elisabeth, Ethan’s mom who was only 11 years older than her.

Kali loved Ethan’s mom, she could see she was truly special. Ethan was the most beautiful man she had ever met and Elisabeth in the short time she had known her, was probably the most divine (and special) woman she had ever known. That was why she was nervous, Elisabeth was just so in tune, like she could read you immediately. It was beautiful but it made her nervous and a little shy with how Elisabeth could see her so easily.

Kali got to talk a lot to Elisabeth through the evening, and near the end when everyone had gone, she found herself on the balcony with just herself and Elisabeth. They connected and spoke for a while. It was surprising for Kali to find Elisabeth single, only because she was so beautiful and gorgeous and full of quirks and heart, but life always had surprises, Ethan was single only a week or so ago.

Kali asked Elisabeth how long they had lived there. It had been seven years and Elisabeth told her how they used to live in Noe Valley, San Francisco before then.

Elisabeth liked abundance and the good life, though she had always remained down to earth. She knew what it was like to struggle, she had been there when she had brought up Ethan on her own. She knew how hard it could be to get out of those hard times. It was a long time ago now but those difficult times did give her the depth and understanding, especially towards others. She was a very compassionate woman. How the universe and the angels viewed compassion and with how humans did, were two different things. That she knew.

It was time for bed and Ethan and Kali said goodnight to Elisabeth and they headed upstairs to Ethan’s bedroom. Ethan went up the staircase that had the curve as it went up. He got to the top and they walked to his bedroom and they entered.

“So this is me,” Ethan said as they both walked in and he closed the door.

“Hmm…lovely,” she said looking at the black and white pictures on his wall and the door to his balcony. The room felt warm to her, it felt like Ethan, it had Ethan’s presence all in it. Ethan sat on his bed.

“I sleep on this side,” he said.

“Sure, though if I decide I like your side, I might just roll you over.”

They sat on his bed, just lying there cuddled up. The night had been gentle and Kali felt that peace in her heart and the joy from just being in Ethan’s bedroom and feeling so much love. A little later they decided it was time to jump into bed.

“You know, I can’t take all my clothes off,” she said.

  “I know.”

When she said that it made Ethan feel that sexual pull. He heard the words but he also felt the feeling of Kali Taking her clothes off. Just hearing those words with the image he received made him take a deep breath. It was only a night ago that they had their first kiss so it made sense to go slow. Ethan felt perfectly fine to go slow, but as much as they tried to go slow, something was speeding up. They were getting to know one another really fast. They were going slow, while their emotions were speeding up, they were evolving fast.

Kali got undressed and took her clothes off. She got down to her underwear and jumped into bed. Ethan did the same, taking his clothes off until he was wearing just his boxers. As he stripped down he did watch Kali and he saw her half naked. She looked delicious, her skin looked so soft. Kali rolled into Ethan and their bodies came together. It felt so enlightened and right for them both. They started kissing with their bodies intertwined and they felt that desire of wanting more. Kali pulled herself away for a moment and giggled. She could feel all the passion in Ethan. It also felt good to go slow, to savor this moment and for this time to be unknown, not expected, like two teenagers just finding their way. They lay there and as they did, peace just overflowed them both and made them feel sleepy. Their eyes closed nearly. Then Kali opened her eyes gently and looked at Ethan. She loved him and realized she had to bring it up, the subject of her husband.

  “You’re beautiful,” she said.

Ethan stared at her, he could tell she was going to say something, he could feel it in his heart.

“I have to tell you this, Ethan……on Monday I have to go back to my home for a week. It was scheduled ages ago and as much as I don’t want to mix you with that old life, they’re coming together here.” She paused and looked into his beautiful eyes, looking for a response, he was just listening. She was on her side as was Ethan, facing one another. “I want you to know this, Ethan I love you with my whole heart. You are the beautiful man I have dreamt of but I need to do this, go back and close that door. I’ve made a choice, I want to be with you, I love you…”

Her eyes watered. She had to say it, it was her truth and Ethan had to hear it.

“Beautiful, I know, it scares me a little, only because it suddenly came up. I just abhor the feelings of three.”

  “I know how you feel.”

She did, she loved Ethan and bringing up the subject of another man was so hard, it seemed unfair that she had to do this to him. She looked so intensely into Ethan’s eyes that he could only listen, he had no choice, her power, his love was making them both so in tune and so honest with each other.

“It hurts me to put you in that place, I need to be with you, just you, I promise you that. This trip was scheduled ages ago so I feel it’s meant to be, to make this trip and be clear with my choices. I don’t want to mix him with you. You’re so sweet and divine, Ethan your soul is so angelic…”

Tears rolled down her face, “and I will never fuck with that, never. I will make this trip for me, so I can be with you, only you. Do you understand?”

“I do, you have to close that past door, I know that and maybe 20 seconds ago I felt…that pain in my stomach, but I do understand.”

  “Thanks for being so understanding.”

“The way you looked at me, you could almost say anything and it would be okay. No one has ever looked at me like that. Your look is piercingly beautiful.”

They stared at one another deeply and Kali broke out into a smile that triggered Ethan to smile. They then laughed as they truly saw
each other and Kali was laughing but she also had tears. She cried because he was so understanding, he just looked back at her with love. She was giving him pain and he returned love and she knew he was the one. It was beyond human, the love spell bounded from another paradigm. It was love on the deepest level.

  “You’re amazing,” she said.

  “You are.”

“Beautiful angel…It’s not until two days away, so we can forget for now……this is going to be a tough evening not devouring you.”

“I know, the moment I saw you take your clothes off I knew this was going to be difficult. When you were taking your clothes off you looked out of this world divinely hot by the way.” They laughed.

  “I love you,” she said.

  “I love you.”

Kali was on top of Ethan and was kissing him. Her eyes were sometimes open. They were closed but she had to look at him, she had to see him. The passion was building up and was starting to go crazy, the desire was potent. They rolled around and every so often a smile would break out, it was deep but it was also light. When Kali was on top he put his hands on her bum and she moved her pelvis up and down. Her skin felt angelic and her body become addictive with every touch, every part of her seemed to say something. Her more sensuous parts seemed to have more depth, like they went beyond the surface. When she gently made herself rock back and forth, while she was rubbing against Ethan, the feel of her bum, her breasts felt deeper than what they were on the surface. It was like leaving this world touching her body and remembering her from centuries ago. That was how it felt for Ethan.

Kali was on top still, rubbing, her underwear was still on and they were both close to climaxing. Kali didn’t have her glasses on and her eyes looked alien like to Ethan. They were glowing, they were powerful, like she was from another world. Ethan was unsure what was happening, but it felt beautiful. He wondered for a moment did she have new eye lenses on. She was close to an orgasm, her eyes were shining and then she let out a scream. It was loud, it was raw and it said so much in that noise. Ethan followed, he couldn’t keep his voice within either. It lasted about 15 seconds wave after wave for both of them. Then there was a deep breath, holding each other so tight, they kissed and saw the sparkle in each other’s eyes and they cracked up laughing and couldn’t stop. They just laughed and laughed.

“My mom would have heard you.”

“I cannot believe I did that, it’s your fault!”

They lay together their breath still above normal rate. “Imagine what it will be like with no clothes on,” she said.

They decided they would sleep with their bodies entangled.

They were half asleep, when Kali opened her eyes, Ethan was just about to fall into a sleep as he lay blissfully curled up to Kali when Kali started talking and he came out of his doze, feeling her body next to his and the warmth of her energy.

“Do you really meditate every day?” she asked.

“Yeah I do, I haven’t missed a day in two years.”

  “Impressive, are you sure?”

  “Yep… I haven’t missed one day.”

  “Hmm…what about wanking?”

“I might have missed one day with that.”

  Kali laughed.

“Can you show me how to do it?” she asked.

  “Which one?”

“You know which one I was talking about.”

She kissed Ethan on the mouth, every time it still felt new and their lips just complemented each other. He was the perfect kisser. He kissed like a girl, sensual and soft.

“Did you go to kisser school?” she asked like a child.

All Ethan could do was giggle. “And I want to remember the ether, Ethan. Doesn’t that sound cool? When I go there with you at night time I need to remember okay?”

“Okay, you will. We’ll make it happen.”

“Hmm,” she said and kissed him.

They fell asleep all cuddled up. Later in the night Kali awoke. She rolled quietly away from Ethan to stretch out. She felt peaceful as she lay on her back. She thought about the night and her trip home and the bed she was in. It was like the light from this experience was taking away her past, it had that kind of power. She loved lying in Ethan’s bed, it felt safe and beautiful. As she was thinking of this, Ethan rolled over and put his arm around her, she thought he must have awoken but he was still asleep. He was moving in his sleep, still loving and protecting her as he slept. Even in his sleep he still loved her and it made Kali feel so loved. He loved her always, in the ether and in body as he slept right now. Ethan was still asleep holding her and she whispered into his ear…

“I love you, I love you, Ethan, forever and ever. I do!”

The morning arrived and the sun came through the curtain and went into Ethan’s eyes. It awoke him and he saw Kali. He spooned behind her and could sense she was not asleep, she rolled around her hair more full from the night, and she looked radiant, untouched. It was probably the most beautiful Ethan had ever seen her. It was the moment when the soul returned from the night and it showed on Kali’s face, sleepy, hair a mess and looking more divine than ever.

Ethan got up and told Kali he would be back soon with a coffee. He went downstairs and saw his mom in the kitchen.

“You’re up pretty early, Ethan,” Elisabeth said.

“Yeah I know just grabbing a coffee then back to bed.”

Ethan grinded his beans and then returned to his bedroom. He walked in, giggled to himself. He was 23, Kali was 31 but it was still like they were teenagers in his room. He drew the curtain from the balcony and opened the door so he could hear the sea. Then he jumped onto his bed and sat there with Kali and they drank their coffee.

There was wind outside which had brought in bigger waves than normal, so the waves could be heard. It was a blue sky and it was still early and fresh, the energy felt new and exciting. As Ethan and Kali sat there, they both felt special, the moment was simply serene.

It reminded Ethan of not too long ago when he felt the same peace. It was just before dark and he was sitting in the same place with a coffee in his hand with the balcony door open. That particular day he felt divine. It was like déjà vu now. But his time he had his soul mate with him.

“What are you thinking?” she asked.

“Just one of those déjà vu experiences. This moment reminds me of a time when I had a kind-of-a an Epiphany.”

“Tell me about it please,” She said directly as she sat on Ethan trying not to spill his coffee.

“It was this perfect moment and I was right here, in this position, door was open, coffee in hand, perfect but by myself. So now it feels the same, but it has the completion because you’re here with me.” Kali just smiled like a child and Ethan kept going. “So I was here and the epiphany, or the moment just before the epiphany was I was feeling so alive and blessed, my mom had just came in and we had talked for a while about jovial and deep things and then I sat here hearing the waves, the coffee in my hand and feeling so good. What my mom had been talking about was the soul contract. She said to me, get in touch with it. You can find out lots of stuff she told me, you know about life, your desires, your purpose, what is going to happen, even when you’re going to die. She called it the angel blueprint. The angel within, she said, was the soul and the blueprint was the contract.

“It sounds very trippy and intriguing, but that is you, isn’t it?”

“So when I sat here in my bedroom thinking about it all. I knew it was important and I should get in touch with my soul contract and find things out. And as I sat here, I had a crystal in my hand, a candle alight. I could feel my angel, Bella really close to me, I could feel her love, it was so deep and light and she gave me those tingles on my body. I could see the rocks edge from here out my balcony door and that picture froze with the feeling. It looked beautiful, like I had seen it before, before I lived here. That picture said a lot to me, it was like the universe was telling me a lot through the picture. It was the feeling I go
t, and it all made sense to me. And when I saw the crystal in my hand, the edge of the rocks from my bed, the sound of the waves crashing and Bella just shining her light, sending me love I decided to call the soul contract that…Crystal Bella.”
