The Fire Inside
Page 5
Stella’s legs were dangling in the air but she was mostly making a spastic jerking motion to signify that she was still fighting on the inside. There was nothing she could do. She certainly didn’t think that Jack would back down because of what the human woman had said to him. That was the last thing she believed would happen. This was not the same man that she remembered. It would be easy to kill him without mourning his loss.
“I know that I’m going to regret this.” Jack lowered her to the ground. He removed his thumbs from her sockets to see that the left pupil had dilated into a pinpoint. Her vision was obscured in that one eye.
“Get out of my sight before I change my mind. Tell him that the time is coming for him. There is no place for him to hide. He should understand that what I say is true and I want him to be prepared. I want him to be at his best. You might think I’m showing weakness, but I can only be pushed so far. You want the man you loved, but I don’t really think you do. You know what I become. It was good when I was on your side, but what happens when I turn that part of myself toward destroying everything you believe in?” Jack stared at Stella as she made her way over to the door and took flight with her wings extended towards the moon.
The evil glare that Stella bestowed upon Jessica as she took off left her feeling like her heart was frozen in her chest. It only started to beat again when Jack turned and grabbed her by the elbows with enough force to make her think that what she had done was cause more problems than it was worth.
“I wish there was some way I could go back in time and not see that. It would seem that what I have believed in all my life is completely wrong. I have only scratched the surface. I don’t suppose that you can tell me something about how my brother got involved in all of this?” The heat in the room was causing her to move her fingers down the broad length of his chest. She twirled her slender fingers in his chest hair; pulled at it lightly and made a certain part of his anatomy fill out his pants in just the right way.
Jack breathed deeply and wanted nothing more than to tear the clothes off her milky white flesh. He wanted to give her a reason to submit to his anticipation. That fire needed an outlet, but he was afraid of what he would do to her in his current state of mind.
“I need to take a shower. I don’t want to answer your questions, but if you’re still here when I come out then we can talk about it rationally.” The shower he was thinking about was ice cold. It wasn’t going to be enough to satiate the flame from being near Jessica.
Jack felt the fire inside of him and he needed some way to douse the flames. The water made steam escape his pores. He was close to killing Stella. Had it not been for Jessica, he would have her death on his conscience. He sensed he wasn’t alone in the bathroom. He could see through the shower curtain with relative clarity. There was the unmistakable form of a woman standing by the door.
Jessica had her hand itching for something more than a spectacle for her eager eyes. She suspected the cool water would help to alleviate his condition. It seemed surprising to see steam rising from a cold shower. If she had given that some thought then she might have known something was wrong. What she had seen with Stella was still plaguing her mind.
“I don’t suppose there’s anything I can do for you.” The words were out of her mouth before she had a chance to take them back.
“I’m not sure what you’re getting at.” Jack opened the curtain with no shame. He stood there in profile with his arousal quite evident. The magnificent piece between his legs would scare any less of a woman than Jessica.
“I think you know what I’m talking about. We started something and it’s about time we finish it. We need to do this for ourselves.” Jessica felt the heat penetrating her clothes. It made them stick to her like a second skin.
“We were rudely interrupted. I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t just go for it. I need to get my mind off something. You might just be the ticket.” Jack grabbed a towel and wrapped it around himself with his manhood stretching the fabric.
He walked by her and she snatched the towel away from his waist. Grabbing onto him, she dragged him to the bed and lied down. She had an interest in feeling what she had been dreaming about from the moment she met him. She was unprepared for the ravenous way he tore at her clothes. She had to slow his role by touching his hand. She wanted to give him a reason to look at her with more than physical need.
Jack felt the need to touch her body gently and with care, but he reigned in the part of him begging for release. He breathed shallowly, holding her gaze and the way her breasts filled out her form-fitting clothing in just the right way. He relieved her of her clothing, stripping away what was holding him back and looking to see she was ready.
The dew covering her sex was making her lips look slippery when wet and quite inviting. She was waiting. He touched her and made her arch her back while pushing against the headboard for the necessary support.
Jessica had waited too long and the fantasies she had in her head were coming true. What they had done outside while the club members partied inside was risky at best. Having Stephen break them apart at the most inopportune time was like trying to put the brakes on a speeding car heading towards a cliff.
“We were meant to be together, Jack. It feels right to have you in my arms where you belong. I want you to tell me what to do. I want to be here for you and to give you my body to satisfy the both of us beyond words.” Jessica hungered for the steel bar dangling in front of her. Seeing it in its glory was a mesmerizing experience.
“When will I learn not to send out signals? I couldn’t help it with you. It was second nature. What we are feeling had to come out some way. I watched you for a long time never thinking I would be here about to satiate my desire for you.” Jack wasn’t even thinking about the man who had killed Kenneth. The only thing that mattered was bringing her joy and making it last for as long as possible.
“I thought about this day and you have not been far from my desires. My patience was wearing thin. I don’t think I could be any happier.” Jessica didn’t know what true happiness was, but she believed she was about to find out.
She didn’t even care that the sheets were stained by those who had used this room in an hourly capacity. The only thing she could think of was getting him inside her tight little hole. To accomplish that, she grabbed him and made him cry out. She was beside herself on what to do next. He was right there for the taking.
“Jessica, I should have known better than to press the issue. I always get too carried away and it’s something I’m working on. With you, I was lucky to last this long without doing something about the chemistry between us.” Jack felt the heat of her loins touching the exposed skin of his knob. She was already soaking wet and practically begging for him with her eyes wide open.
“We both know it’s going to happen. There’s no use in fighting it anymore. Let me help you to guide it to where it needs to be.” Jessica held him by the base and let the natural gravity of his thrust perform past her expectations. Her hands up against the headboard prevented her head from smashing against the wall repeatedly.
“I thought it was going to be good, but I didn’t think it was going to be this good. Your body forms around me and the tightness is hard to bear. I see you taking me all inside you and I’ve never seen a more beautiful sight.” He was doing obscene pushups with his skin shiny from the perspiration running down his chest. He felt her fingers gliding down the slickness of his flesh and it ignited something inside of him.
“I don’t think I could take another inch even if I wanted to. You are the perfect man for me. All the others I’ve been with don’t even compare. Take me and give me that rage which resides inside of you. You have a short fuse, but there are ways to use it to your advantage.” She raked her nails a little deeper into his skin while wrapping her legs around his waist to keep him locked deep inside of her.
He took a hold of her ass cheeks, feeling the pliant surface and knowing her regiment had turned her body int
o something coveted by the male gender. His manhood was inundated with the warmth and vice-like fit of her womanly caress.
“You’re making it hard to breathe, but I don’t care. I need you more than I have ever needed any woman. It’s like we have been calling to each other and we have finally answered.” He buried himself in her tight sheath, holding on and drawing her to him with an audible slap of their hips.
“I know what you mean. I find myself at a loss for words with the way you look at me. I’m going to lose it. It doesn’t seem possible for something of your size to easily fit into me. I have to have it all.” With that in mind, she reached around and pulled him into her. There was not even an inch to spare. She made him hover over her in a perfect stillness.
Grinding in a circle, she rubbed her little clit against the part of the shaft touching her with inexplicable ecstasy. Working in circles, her body responded with a convulsive wave that gripped the invading force. She didn’t care about her personal space. Lying back on the bed and watching him in action had become something of an intense aphrodisiac.
“I won’t let you go. I just got you and there’s no way I’m leaving the comfort of your arms.” He proved that his prowess in the bedroom was not for the faint of heart. His strokes became more insistent with their bodies smashing together in a cacophony of sexual sounds.
He was moaning, holding her close and driving with precision to make her into his personal wonderland.
Jessica felt him coming to the end of his rope. The way his cock swelled inside of her gave every indication of his impending orgasm. That moment was sealed in the way they looked at each other. His two hands were beside her on either side of her head lying on the pillow. She grabbed one of his hands and sucked on his fingers one at a time. She twirled her tongue around each digit and smiled seductively as he jerked inside her fluttering walls.
Her orgasm turned into a multiple one with no tangible way to know when it was going to end. She threw her hair back and forth on the pillow, clawing at the sheets and letting his body take her to new heights of pleasure.
Jack saw the way she moved and waited until he had no choice. It didn’t look like he was going to find any resistance. He plowed forward with his knees on the mattress and made the bed shake from the pounding it was taking.
“I know you want to make this last forever, but I need a breather. You’re too much for any woman and I feel that I have bitten off more than I can chew. God damn…not again…it can’t be…possible.” Her words got lost in the way her body responded to the friction between her legs. Her heels had dropped against the mattress with her body open for a thorough inspection.
“I was waiting… I was waiting for you to cum again. I find myself in the envious position of letting your body drain my seed. Oh fuck, I hope this doesn’t scare you, but I’m too far gone to give a damn… YESSSSS.” He turned things up a notch, working his pelvis in the way of an accomplished dancer. He knew from personal experience how to bring a woman the most amount of pleasure.
The vein along the back of his member throbbed, and the head began to pulsate with a life of its own. He was never a one position kind of guy, but with Jessica, it felt like they were connected body and soul. Looking into the liquid pools of her eyes and the way that she grinned told him all he needed to know.
Her eyes were closed and she had no idea about the wings transforming him into something not human. In the throes of his passion, Jack let loose with the heat inside of him. His balls boiled over and his mouth spewed fire across the room with his head thrown back.
Jessica felt his release and relished the heated contents escaping the head of his cock. She bore down on top of him and then finally peeked to see something quite unusual. She had suspected all along that Jack was something more than met the eye. His face contorted into something ugly and beautiful at the same time. The wings were an amazing engineering marvel of evolution.
The wings drew in on themselves and she watched as Jack grabbed the sheet from the bottom of the bed and smothered the flames. It wasn’t like she was going to be able to get up anytime soon. She was confused by how easily he had jumped into action. It must’ve been the firefighter instinct inside of him.
CHAPTER NINE
J essica was shocked and even though she suspected his origin, IT didn’t mean she was prepared to see it up close and personal. She tried to remain calm, but her flight or fight instincts were a jumbled mess of emotions. She had enough energy to stand on her own. Watching him put out the flames was enough to rekindle the addiction she had to the man, but it didn’t prevent her from going into the bathroom and barricading the door.
Jessica sat down by the tub in a corner with her knees up against her chest. She mumbled to herself that it wasn’t possible, but she couldn’t deny what her eyes had seen for themselves. Everything she believed in was nothing more than fiction. There were supernatural beings and this was something she was going to have to come to terms with.
“I know how you feel. I should have prepared you, but I didn’t know how to say the right words.” She heard Jack talking to her from the opposite side of the door. We need to talk about this and not hide from what is the truth. I’m asking you nicely to come out and I’m only going to ask once.” Jack didn’t know which way to go, but he needed to know if she was going to accept what he was.
Jessica made no sound, staring at the door and wondering if a few inches of wood were going to separate them for long. She found herself not breathing, thinking about how she had got there and remembering the dead eyes of her brother looking back at her. Her guilt for enjoying herself came out with racking sobs. She didn’t regret one damn thing. The tears flowed freely. Her time of grief was not letting her go.
Jack had his hands on the door and he couldn’t control himself. The claws of the dragon emerged and the strength imbued by the beast inside was coming upon him. He used it to pull at the hinges until he felt them let go.
Jessica heard the unmistakable sound of the wood splintering. She was about to get up and open the door, but she didn’t get a chance to. It came off and she watched the look in his eyes and had a moment of pause.
Jack stood there with the door in his hands. He dropped it when he realized that he had gone too far. Stepping up to the threshold, he looked down at the cowering form of his lover and friend. He dropped to his knees thinking he had terrified her beyond words. The beast retreated to its cage, but it wouldn’t be long until it came out stronger than ever.
“I don’t want to see this. Nobody will ever believe me and they will think I’m crazy. I’ll be institutionalized and pumped full of drugs. I won’t know what I’m doing. Please, leave me alone and let me try to forget this ever happened.” Jessica had her mind blown and coming back to reality was not easy.
“I was afraid of this. Not many can see my true form and accept it unconditionally. Only those of our kind are meant to mate. I apologize for putting you through this, but there was nothing I could do. I will leave if that is what you really want. Without you I’m nothing. I’m through playing by the house rules. He needs to pay and it has to come from my hand.” Jack could see the confusion in her eyes. He wiped her tears with his finger.
His gentle touch took her by surprise and certainly didn’t remind her of the thing he had become. She saw something soft and held his hand to let him know how she felt. She needed time to digest and adapt to what she had seen. It would take some time, but she instinctively knew that Jack was not to blame.
“I don’t see why it has to be by your hand. Kenneth was my brother and you only knew him for a short time. I’ve known him all my life and I want to get my hands on the man responsible. Tell me about him. Information is the key to killing him with my bare hands.” Jessica felt the shock wear off. Her hands were shaking one second and then they were still like she was sober coming down from a drunken binge.
“Rufus is not a man anymore. His true nature is not something anybody should see. He has become something that att
acks without provocation. He wants to bring the entire human race to its knees. He has many disciples living amongst you and it’s only a matter time before he acts without thinking. Stella will poke the hornet’s nest.” Jack lifted her to her feet and found she was still unable to walk on her own power.
“The one thing puzzling me is the reason why nobody has cut off the head of the snake. Get rid of their leader and the others will scatter to the wind, never to be seen from again. Fighting those he sends against you is not going to be enough. Decisive action is the only thing he’ll understand.” Jessica saw his faraway look and it began to dawn on her what this meant to him. There was something personal making his decisions and it was about time to give it a voice.
“Rufus will find what Stella says to be enough to wage war. He won’t care about anything other than his blind ambition for power. I do feel I have a debt of honor which I have no idea of how to pay back to humans. I look back at the man I was and it sickens me. Death was nothing but an inconvenience. Your brother showed me humans are worthy of saving. After all, we did come from the same DNA strand.” Jack held her hand, rubbing his thumb back and forth reassuringly to get her to see him as more than just the beast.
“I don’t know what I’m supposed to say to all of this.” Jessica was still alarmed, but at least she was thinking straight. That was hard to do when she was grief stricken and seeing something of a mythical creation.
“I’m one of those monsters, but I’ve changed my ways. Your brother joined the crusade and I have taken up the sword in the name of humanity. I found others who felt the same way with the help of your brother. Recruiting a human into a civil war was not one of my brightest ideas. Your brother wouldn’t take no for an answer. He was determined to make a difference and you know how he is when he gets something in his head.” Jack led her over to the bed and sat at her knees looking into her eyes.
