She Got It Bad for A Heartless Gangsta: An AK Christmas

Page 11

by Shvonne Latrice

  “You’ll see.”

I left the bedroom and went to scoop my daughter so we could head to the mall right quick. I wanted us all to take some family Christmas pictures later on today. I knew the shit was gay, but as much as the thought made me turn my lip up, I knew Virginia would love it. And if my girl loved it, then I didn’t really give a fuck how whack it was.

Alessiah and I made it to the Beverly Center, which at the moment was going through a bunch of fucking renovations, making it easy as hell to get lost. After giving my whip to valet, my baby girl and I headed inside to find something that we could all wear for the pictures. It felt weird pushing this damn stroller because usually Virginia did this shit, or I would just carry Alessiah. I felt like Mr. Mom or some shit.

I decided on a department store because all this other shit didn’t really have what I was looking for. As I browsed the first floor with my eyes, in search of something with a Christmas theme, someone caught my eye. I waited for a little bit to be sure it was even her, and it definitely was Charmaine’s old hoe ass. She was hugged all up on some nigga who looked like he had dreams of doing something but hadn’t gotten there yet. I guess she had a type.

“You can’t say hi?” She raised a brow, snapping me from my thoughts.

“Nah, I can’t,” I replied. Yeah, her antics were years ago, but that didn’t mean we were cool. Any muthafucka that eggs my luxury car will never be a friend of mine.

“Anyway, this is Dex.” Charmaine introduced her nigga and then stared down into my daughter’s stroller.

“Watch out, bruh, she crazy,” was all I said to Dex before pushing the stroller off to find what the fuck I was looking for.

“Asshole,” Charmaine called after me, then started saying some shit under her breath to Dex.

After about forty-five minutes of looking and tiring my daughter out, even though she wasn’t really doing shit, I finally had what I needed and took my ass home. I wasn’t trying to run into Charmaine again.

When I got home, Alessiah had fallen asleep, so I put her down in her crib and went to find Virginia. I saw she was relaxing in bed and watching TV, but it was obvious she’d been up and had gotten dressed and shit.

I didn’t realize how little I saw her just relaxing. She was always on the go, either working or getting our daughter together. Don’t get shit twisted, I took care of my daughter, but I just didn’t realize how much shit Virginia was doing over me. It made me realize that I did need to step it up a little bit if I was gon’ try and be somebody’s husband. I couldn’t be on this boyfriend tip no fucking more.

“What did you guys buy?” She paused whatever she was watching to focus on me completely.

“Huh?” I’d heard what she asked me, but I was too deep in my thoughts and shit.

  “The bag, what’s in it?”

“Oh, right.” I brought the bag closer to the bed and revealed the sweaters I’d picked out, one for each of us. Alessiah’s was a little different, but it was close enough.

“Oh my gosh! This is so corny but cute! What is this for, Jason?” Virginia grinned widely, holding up the small sweater that belonged to our daughter.

“We got some Christmas pictures to take this afternoon.”

  “Are you joking?”

“Hell nah, I’m not joking! This is what families do, so be prepared to take these damn pictures,” I fussed as she giggled.

“Aww, I can tell you don’t want to, but I think it’s cute, so we’re definitely gonna do it.” She leaned up some to kiss my lips.

  Later that night…

We’d gotten home from taking the pictures and having dinner together, so while Virginia was taking a bath, I opted to be the one to get Alessiah to sleep. I swear my daughter only slept one damn hour a day. I guess tonight she knew her daddy had plans though, because she fell right asleep after her bath and drinking her formula.

Once my daughter was knocked out for sure, I hit the lights, leaving only her mobile above her crib to light up the room, and then I took the baby monitor and clipped it onto my pocket. I knew Virginia was still in the bathroom, so I went down to the basement fridge to grab the bag of rose petals I’d purchased along with the box of candles on the basement shelf.

Rushing back up the stairs, I quickly scattered the petals every damn where, and then lit the candles.

“Fuck!” I shouted under my breath when I accidentally burned my damn thumb. I’d heard Virginia moving around in the bathroom, so I tried to rush.

By the time I was done and dimming the lights in the bedroom, I heard Virginia coming out of the bathroom. She stopped in her tracks at the sight, and I swear you could hear a mouse piss on cotton as I waited for her reaction. My girl wasn’t necessarily hard to please, but she could see through bullshit. And even though this gesture was far from bullshit, it was nothing new for Virginia to shut this shit down if she felt it was fake or just for the time being.

“Jason,” she whispered. “Actually, where is my boyfriend because you would never do anything like this.”

  Damn, like that?

“Stop it,” I replied. “Come here. You don’t need to get dressed.”

A wide smile covered her face as she came out of the bathroom completely, hitting the light on her way out. Once she made it close enough, she slipped her hand into mine, and I led her to the bed. Scooping her up, I held her with one arm and used my other hand to yank her towel off to expose her damp naked body. My eyes wandered for a little bit, admiring what was mine and what I wanted to be mine for forever.

Placing Virginia on her back, I trailed kisses from her lips, to her neck, down her breasts and stomach, and to her pussy.

“Mmm,” she moaned when I put her thighs on my shoulders and dove in. Slowly, I feasted between her legs, enjoying the smell or lack thereof. “Ja—” she stammered, grasping a handful of my hair as I made love to her pussy with my mouth.

As she got juicier, I lapped up every bit, gripping her waist as she squirmed and went crazy. After I dipped my tongue into her opening, then brought it back up to suck on her bud, she exploded, and I wasted no time licking her clean like a damn cat.

“Oh my gosh.” She panted heavily as I removed my shirt and dropped my pants. It gave her time to recoup a little bit before I slid inside of her.

Bringing her to the edge of the bed, I put her legs over my shoulders and slid inside of her snug walls.

“Damn.” I tossed my head back, enjoying the grip she had on me as she placed her hand on my abs.

I started stroking her slowly but only for a little bit, then I proceeded to tear her shit to shreds. I slipped in and out of her with ease due to how drenched she was, making it hard to hold back my nut. Virginia exploded on my dick, making her pussy even wetter, but still having grip, and I could no longer take the shit. Going into overdrive, I hammered her pussy, and the sound was like music to my fucking ears. Her moaning in between the gushy sounds of our lovemaking became too much, and I busted all inside of her ferociously. It was so ferocious that my body jerked and collapsed on top of her.

“Baby,” was all I could say as I showered her face with kisses. Finally catching some of my breath, I said, “You know I love you, right?”

“Yeah,” she replied softly, heart beating rapidly.

“And I know what I did was stupid and immature as fuck, but I promise you it was a mistake and nothing more. When I asked you to marry me, it was because I was ready to be your husband. And I’m actually happy I did what I did because it opened my eyes to a lot of shit, teaching me what I can and can’t be doing out here.”

And as far as Ali Diamond’s ass, I ignored her requests for money. I wasn’t about to pay her to keep people from thinking a certain way about my relationship. Nope, fuck that shit.

“I’m glad you see.” Virginia tossed her arms around my neck as I hovered over her, still inside of her pulsating walls.

“So is the marriage back on? I can’t just be ya boyfriend no more. It’
s either you be my wife, or we need to separate.”

“Damn, daddy.” She tittered. “I guess the marriage is back on.”

I was grinning like a bitch on the inside, but instead, I just slipped my tongue into her mouth to celebrate my joy in another way. Looks like this Christmas was gon’ be lit after all.

  The next morning…

As I waited for Lily in the den while the twins were thankfully napping, I sat down on the couch and went into my phone. I replied to some emails, checked the appointments I had, and then decided to get on Instagram.

These days, I rarely had time to do anything leisure-like because I was always either working at my bar, being a mom, a wife, doing events, traveling with and without my husband, handling my brow products, or doing a photoshoot. And my early mornings were reserved for workouts, so that was booked too. By saying that, it felt good to actually have a day where I could sit down on the couch. Not to mention, Ricky made a huge ass breakfast before he left that had me feeling good.

While on the popular page of Instagram, I saw a post that Ricky made had been reposted by a couple of people and blogs. Whenever we posted one another, people went crazy, and I honestly didn’t understand why; I’d been with the nigga for years. How were people still fascinated by us? I chuckled at the thought. I guess because we didn’t post one another constantly like some couples, the interest was still there.

Clicking the picture, I saw it was one he took of me on the hood of his Bentley Bentayga. The caption read, my most prized possession sitting on what you small minded ass niggas call a prized possession. I chuckled because I read it in his voice with his rude ass, and then commented that I loved him.

“Okay, my room is all clean, and I’m changed!” Lily came running into the den, so I placed my phone down. “I need a ponytail like you, Mommy.”

“Okay.” I took the ponytail holder from her, and then we sat down so I could slick her hair into a low ponytail with a part on the side like I had. When I was done, I leaned down to kiss her cheek.

Little things like this made me feel irritated that I didn’t have Lily when she was little like her brother and sister. I wondered if she was like them, or different. My twins were sweet like Lily, but only with us. Everyone else that had them would always say they were mischievous for some reason. I often pondered on whether Lily was like that too before she grew up.

“Ready?” Lily hopped up, checking herself out in the full-length mirror. I smiled watching her.

  “Yes, I’m ready.”

Like me, my baby enjoyed dancing. Our car rides would be so fun, because we’d always be jamming the whole way to wherever we went.

Lily wanted to do a dance routine with me after she saw my pole dance instructor post a video of us all dancing. Of course, my baby wasn’t about to be on a pole, so we just put something together ourselves, and I was gonna put it on my Instagram since her daddy said she couldn’t have one. Low-key, I agreed because she was way too young, but I’d rather let him be the bad cop.

I set up my iPhone so it could record the video, and then Lily and I got in position so we could dance. We were both obsessed with “Tempo” by Chris Brown, so that was the song we chose to dance to. As Chris Brown sang against the smooth yet up-tempo beat, Lily and I began to do our routine. It was so hard not to smile while doing it, because the parts that I could see her, she looked so cute. To be so young, she was doing beyond a good job; I guess it was genetic.

We did it perfectly the first time, so I went ahead and uploaded it before we went to change clothes.

I wanted to go to the grocery store and then to the mall so I could get my kids some Christmas outfits. Lily and I had gotten dresses made that were alike, but I needed something for my twins.

It was later in the evening, so I had my husband call Clay to come pick us up and take us because Ricky didn’t like me traveling alone once the streetlights were on. So if he couldn’t come with me, he always had Clay do it.

“Store! Store! Store! Store!” Camellia and Frederick chanted on the way to the grocery store as Lily and I laughed.

I loved my babies more than life, but bringing them to the store was not fun unless Ricky was with me. Ricky could carry them both on his own, he would chase them, and he was a little more intimidating than me. They were almost three, and even though they wouldn’t start school for another year, I was scared to put them in, fearing the school would be in flames when I went to pick them up.

We stopped at the grocery store to pick up the things I needed and then headed straight to the mall. It was a little bit of traffic, so I was kind of thankful that I didn’t drive myself. As usual, Clay let me do my thing and kind of stayed in the distance, making me forget he was even around like always.

“Baby girl.” I heard a voice that I knew all too well. I didn’t turn around though because that wasn’t my name and I had no interest in talking to this fool. “Draylah,” Lue called me, realizing I wasn’t gonna answer to his little nickname.

“Yes?” I turned to face him, placing down the dress I’d picked up for Camellia.

“How you doing, baby? We ain’t seen each other in forever.”

“I’m fine, Lue, but I have to be somewhere.” I scanned the area looking for Clay because I knew he and Ricky were close and I didn’t need him mentioning Lue.

“Damn, now that you’re thee Draylah or Queen AK, you ain’t got time for people like me, huh?” He cocked his head and licked his lips.

He pushed his dreads back as he waited for my answer, letting the lights of the store beam down on his chocolate skin. The sight of him was repulsive, and I couldn’t even understand how I’d actually dated him. Not that Lue wasn’t attractive, because he was, but his insides were so rotten that he was now ugly physically too.

  “I—”

“No sparkles?” Camellia asked Lue, rubbing her little wrist as she sat back in the double stroller.

“Huh?” Lue quizzed, smiling but still wearing a confused expression.

“She’s asking where your watch is,” I replied, trying not to laugh as I showed Lue my AP watch that Ricky got me for example. I knew my baby had no idea she was roasting Lue, but it was still jokes.

“No sparkles at all!” Frederick shouted in amazement as he and his sister scanned Lue looking for some jewelry.

“Not everybody wears that type of stuff all the time. But trust me, I got plenty of sparkles back at the crib,” Lue responded to them, and they just stared.

  “You gots money?” Camellia quizzed.

“You gots nooooo money!” Frederick added.

“Okay, that’s enough. Have a good day, Lue.” I turned the stroller the other way to check out the rest of the store.

Before I could even start pushing though, Camellia and Frederick began chanting, “No sparkles, no money! No sparkles, no money!”

“Hey, hey, cut it out,” I told them, chuckling along with Lily and the sales associate who was folding clothes nearby.

“Girl, he stormed out,” the associate said, still laughing.

“Oh well.” I shrugged with a smile.

“Do you mind if we take a picture for my Instagram?” she quizzed. “I was waiting for him to leave you alone so I could ask before my supervisor comes back.”

  “Sure.” I chuckled.

“I cannot wait to go on break and post this along with what the AK twins just did.” She grinned.

The rest of the shopping trip went smoothly, even though we did run into Lue again when in the food court getting a treat for Lily. When my babies saw him though, they began chanting again, and this time I just let them; I was too exhausted. And it was worse this time because they were pointing their little fingers at him since he was in the distance.

After we got Lily’s snack and I took a few pictures with people who started to recognize me, Clay got us out of there and back home. I cooked some cheesy chipotle chicken, rice, and spinach for dinner, then we all sat down to eat. Ricky would be her
e soon, so Lily helped me put the twins to bed after they ate and had a bath, then she and I went down to the kitchen to bake some brownies together.

“Okay, once these are in the oven, baby, you can go take your shower, okay?” I said, and Lily nodded.

  “Mommy, can I switch classes?”

“Why?” I frowned. If I found out some little elementary school bitch was bothering my daughter, it was about to be some smoke in the fucking city.

Calm down, Draylah, you sound like Ricky.

“Because it’s this boy in my class that keeps singing ‘G.O.A.T.’ by Eric Bellinger every time he sees me. And he can’t even sing!” Her little face bore a deep scowl.

I wanted to laugh, but I knew Lily would get upset so I just cleared my throat.

“He must like you, sweetie. At least he’s not like the boys from when I was younger. They would do things like hit you, pinch you, or make fun of you.”

“I don’t like him though! He’s broke, and his shoes are always dirty!”

Laughing, I replied, “How do you know he’s broke? Some rich guys wear dirty shoes.”

“Nu unh! Rich guys wear nice shoes! I know a broke boy when I see one. Like the man at the mall today, he was broke.”

I chortled loudly at my baby. I couldn’t deal with all my kids ragging on Lue.

  “How do you know?”

“Because rich men are like Daddy; they smell nice, they have nice clothes and jewels, deep voices, facial hair, and they walk a certain way.”

“Oh, now I see.” I placed the tray of brownies in the oven. “What if I told you the man at the mall used to be my boyfriend?”

“I’d say yuck, Mommy! But I know you didn’t like him.” Lily shook her head.

  “How do you know?”

“Daddy said he’s the only boyfriend and husband you’ve ever had,” she replied confidently as she removed her small apron.

“I see.” I giggled before taking her hand so we could get her ready for a shower.
