Monroe, Melody S. - Hidden Fantasy [Fantasy Resort 3] (Siren Publishing Ménage Everlasting) Page 12

She planted her hands on her hips. “You bugged my friend’s car? When?”

“You remember that young valet who came out to see what you were up to?” She nodded. “When he leaned in to wish you a good day, he placed a tracking device on the roof. Bet you never looked.”

  “No.”

Tom nodded to Chase, who pulled something small out of his pocket. They both slipped down to their knees.

“Darlin’. You are our life. We want you, and now the baby, in it.”

He flipped open the small velvet case and once again her breath caught. A large sparkling diamond shone brightly.

“Honey, will you do us the honor of marrying us?”

Everything she’d hoped for was coming true, but didn’t they understand anything? “I can’t.”

Their jaws dropped. “Why not? You love us.”

  “Ah, it’s not legal.”

“It is if you legally marry the eldest.” Tom tapped his chest. “That would be me, but Chase will be honor-bound by the bands.”

She didn’t know what to say. “You’d both be willing to live here with me in Texas?”

“Sure. We already got us a huge condo with four bedrooms and three baths that overlooks downtown. It took a while to get it. That’s why we waited so long to come get you.”

She didn’t know what to say.

  “So?”

“Yes.” Her dream had come true.

Tom grinned. “I know we can’t celebrate with champagne, but I’m thinking a slower roll in the hay would be a nice way to start off this celebration. I can think nothing better than a three-way. What do you say?”

  “I couldn’t agree more.”

  Epilogue

  “Push, Larissa.”

The pain was intense, but those two beautiful sets of eyes shining down on her eased the birth.

The doctor stood between her legs. “I got the head.”

A moment later, a baby screamed, and Tom and Chase smiled.

“It’s a boy!” the doctor announced.

Relieved at last that she’d brought their son into the world, she closed her eyes. “I can’t believe it.”

Chase placed a hand on her shoulder. “We’ll let you rest for a few months, but I’m betting he’ll have a little sister in no time.”

Good Lord. “I guess I never asked how many you children you want.” She glanced up at them.

Chase looked at Tom. “As many as you want to give us.”

“Oh, I’m thinking a lot.” Which would mean a lot of sex.

Life was good. For the last nine months, none of the gang had troubled her. Apparently, another gang from across town had taken over as leaders, and, if her friends in the police department were to be believed, the newly merged gang seemed to have moved their focus elsewhere.

Tom took her hand. “You happy to stay in Houston? Or are you hankering to get back to Tucson?”

“I love it here. I never realized how much I’d like green trees and an ocean. It will be a wonderful place for our children to grow up.”

  “Amen.”

They both leaned over and kissed her. Today, the world was a brighter place. With the love of her men, she’d always be happy.

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Unlike most other authors, I started writing late in life. Writing stories in high school and college was not for me. Only after I graduated did I fall in love with romance novels. For the next twenty years, I read voraciously. It got to a point where my book-buying habits cost as much as my groceries. At that point, my husband suggested I write a book. Hey, it looked easy, right? All the stories started in the same spot (hero and heroine at odds) and ended the same way (happily ever after). Only it was anything but easy. Eleven years and fifteen completed romantic suspenses later, I finally published. I never would have gotten that far had it not been for two local chapters whose generous members shared their amazing wealth of knowledge.
