Just Stay Page 12

“So, you want to fight huh, Pee Aitch.” My hands fly from her ankle to her wrists. I push her back down onto the sofa, and pin her hands above her head. She’s breathing heavily, her breasts rise and fall. My gaze travels up, and my eyes lock with hers. Her cheeks are flushed, and her glossy lips are parted. I want to find out if they taste of strawberry. I dip my head and suck her bottom lip into my mouth. It’s strawberry. I suck until all the gloss is gone, then I slide my tongue into her warm mouth. Her tongue plays with mine. She moans into my mouth, and it sends a message straight to my groin. I press my body against hers, needing to be closer. I feel her body relax into mine. I trail kisses along her jaw to her neck, and breathe in her musky scent. I nip at her earlobe, and press my lips to her ear. “I want you,” I whisper. Her pupils turn black. She wants me too, I know it. I move to hold her wrists with one hand, and trace my fingers down her bare arm. She shivers, and lets out a breath. I slide my hand beneath her t-shirt, and hold my breath as I realise she’s not wearing a bra. I stroke my palm across her nipples, and I feel them stiffen. I push the hem of her shirt up, and gaze at her breasts. Fuck, she’s beautiful. I dip my head, and blow warm breath across her nipple.

  “Trey,” she breathes.

“I love the way you whisper my name, Precious.” I cover her nipple with my mouth and flick my tongue. She arches into me. I suck and nibble on her nipple, then I move my head to pay attention to her other breast. I glance at her face. Her lips are parted and her eyes are closed. I run my palm across her flat stomach, and plant a kiss on her belly button. I slide my hand beneath her skirt till I feel the silk of her panties. Using one hand I tug them down and off, and toss them on the back of the sofa. I release her wrists and move down between her legs. She doesn’t try to stop me. I swallow the saliva that’s building in my mouth as I gaze at her pussy. She has a small strip of hair. I stroke my fingers across her folds. Fuck, she’s wet. She lets out a groan as I slip my finger inside her, and rub her nub with my thumb. She bucks her hips against my hand.

  “Oh Trey.”

I slide my finger out and lower my face to her pussy. I lick my lips. “Precious, I’m going to make you scream my name.” I glide my tongue across her folds, and close my lips around her clit. I feel her thighs tighten, and her hands grip the back of my head.

I jolt as I hear a buzzing noise. Pia bolts upright and tugs her skirt down. “It’s your doorbell,” she says, as she reaches for her panties and quickly pulls them on.

You’ve got to be shitting me. “Stay there. I’ll get rid of them.” I try to push down my erection as I storm over to the door. Whoever it is they have lousy timing. As I fling open the door, Fay strolls in. I glare at the back of her head as she walks across to Pia.

“Everyone went home for dinner, so I figured I’d catch what’s left of the movie with you guys.” She glances from Pia to me. “I didn’t interrupt anything, did I?”

I say yes at the same time as Pia says no. Fay frowns as her gaze flicks between us. Pia’s cheeks are red.

  “Okaaay,” Fay says.

Pia sits back down on the corner of the sofa. Fay sits down next to her, and grabs a handful of popcorn. I slump down at the other end of the sofa, and shove a cushion over my lap. My damned dick is still hard.

  CHAPTER TWENTY

  Trey

I’m glad the movie is over; I couldn’t focus with Pia being so near, but not being able to touch her. Pia covers her mouth, and yawns. “Thanks for an awesome evening, Trey. I’m going to bed. I’m exhausted.”

I follow her to my bedroom, and turn on my bedside lamp. She’s standing by my bed; twirling her braid around her finger.

“Let me know if you need anything.” Like me.

Fay comes in, and sits down on my bed. “Can I sit here and talk to you while you go to sleep, Pia? I’m not tired yet,” she says.

Pia nods, so I reluctantly grab a spare blanket and pillow from the top of my closet.

“Sweet dreams,” I say, as I head to the lounge to make up my bed on the sofa. It’s comfortable enough, but I can’t sleep knowing that Pia is in the next room. I want to snuggle up with her. I can’t get her out of my head. It’s like she’s bewitched me or something. I’ve never felt this way about a girl before. I throw the blanket off, sit up and rub my hand through my hair. I heard Fay go into the spare room a little while ago; maybe I can go join Pia. I stop outside my bedroom door, and listen but I can’t hear anything. I’m about to turn the door handle but I stop myself. If she’s asleep it could freak her out if she wakes up and finds me in there. I force myself to go back to the lounge. Luckily I got my ipod out of my room before she went to sleep. I scroll through my song list until I find ‘New tattoo.’ I smile; this song describes how I feel about Pia right now. Feeling thirsty I head to the kitchen to get a glass of water. As I fill the glass I hear movement behind me. I turn, and see Pia. Her hair is loose and messy, and falling around her shoulders. She’s wearing one of my t-shirts, and my gaze falls down to the hem which ends just above her knees. Damn, she looks hot, and she’s so fucking tiny.

“Erm…I’m thirsty, I came to get some water,” she says.

I grin at her. “Me too. Can’t you sleep?”

She shakes her head. I fill a glass with water and hand it to her. She nods towards my ipod which I’ve wedged into the waistband of my sweatpants. “What are you listening to?” I pull my ear buds out and hook her hair behind her ears. Her hair is so soft and silky; I let it run through my fingers before lightly brushing my hand against her cheek. I pop my ear buds into her ears.

She smiles. “I like this; I’ve not heard it before.”

I move closer and rest my hand on the small of her back. “It reminds me think of you.”

She starts moving to the music. Although I can’t hear it I know the beat of the song. I slip my hands around her waist, and sway with her. I gaze into her beautiful, brown eyes as my head dips towards hers.

  “My kitchen isn’t a brothel.”

My gaze snaps to the kitchen doorway. My mum stands there with her arms folded, glaring at us. “Why don’t you shag your whores in your bedroom like you usually do?”

Pia tugs the ear buds from her ears, and hands them to me. Her face is red, and her gaze is glued to the floor. “I’m sorry,” she mutters.

Mum walks into the kitchen and fills the kettle with water. Pia speeds towards the kitchen door.

“Pia, wait.” She keeps walking, I can’t blame her. I scowl at my mum. “I can’t believe you said that. Pia isn’t a whore.”

Mum switches on the kettle and puts a teabag into her mug. “They are all whores. You bring them here, you fuck them, then you leave them.”

I stare down at the floor. She’s right, that’s what I usually do. “Pia’s different. I like her, and you just upset her.”

Mum scoops out her teabag and spoons sugar into her mug. “She wouldn’t have got upset if you’d done as I asked and not invited them to stay. I don’t want your whores running around my home half naked.”

I squeeze my hand into a fist; my nails dig into my palm. I’ve never hit a woman, and I don’t want to start now. “Pia is not a whore,” I say through gritted teeth. “And you didn’t ask me not to invite them, you TOLD me I couldn’t. This is my home too you know.”

Mum makes a huffing noise, picks up her mug and walks away. Fuck. I kick the kitchen cabinet, wince and grab my foot. Dammit, I hope I haven’t broken my toes.

I need to apologise to Pia. I hobble towards my bedroom but stop when I hear Pia’s voice coming from the spare room.

“…and I almost had sex with him tonight.”

I press my ear against the door, and listen. I hear Pia speak again.

“That was a mistake and so was coming here.”

I swallow the lump in my throat as I continue to listen.

“I don’t mean anything to him; even his mum knows he has a different girl in his bed every week. I was almost another of his conquests. I was right about him
from the beginning, I should have known better.” I hear her sniff. Have I made her cry? “And he was so obviously hitting on that girl at the station. He just left her there, pretended he didn’t even know her.”

I close my eyes and draw in a deep breath. I want to tell her she’s wrong. I want to tell her I can’t stop thinking about her, that I want to be with her. That I haven’t even been with another girl since I met her. But I can’t because I don’t want her to know I’ve been standing out here listening to their conversation.

“So I did interrupt something earlier. We can leave,” I hear Fay say. “We can get a train home tomorrow.”

No. No, please stay. I put my fist against the door, and am about to knock on it when Pia speaks again. “No. We’ve already paid for our return fare. They won’t let us change the date; we’d have to pay for new tickets. It’s only a week, I can deal.”

Deal. She’s going to suffer my company. That’s just great.

“Sleep in here with me tonight,” Fay says to her.

I drag myself away from the door and back to the sofa. I bury my head in my pillow. I have to show her how much she means to me and make it up to her somehow.

  CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

  Trey

Opening the medicine cabinet, I pop two paracetamol from the pack, and fill a glass with water. Hopefully I can get rid of this headache before they wake up. I didn’t sleep so well last night; I had too much on my mind. I pick up the phone and dial Ash’s number. “Hey man. Are you up for going to Newquay today, to surf?” I figure if I invite Ash along, he can keep Fay company, and I can get some time alone with Pia.

He sounds sleepy, like I just woke him up. “Why Newquay? What’s wrong with the beach here,” he asks.

I sigh. “I told my neighbour I have to take my car in for a service. She wouldn’t have agreed to take care of my mum if she thought I just wanted time out to have fun. I can’t risk her seeing me hanging out at the beach.”

  “Okay, I’ll bring my board.”

I shake my head, I don’t know why because he can’t see me. “If she sees me putting boards in the car, she’ll know I lied. We’ll hire some boards.”

I put the phone down, and set about preparing some breakfast. I grab some eggs from the fridge and some flour, and whisk up a pancake batter. I slice some strawberries to serve with them. I’m just flipping the pancakes when Pia and Fay enter the kitchen. Pia is wearing a blue sun dress, and her hair is piled into a high ponytail. Fay is wearing denim shorts, and her eyes are already made up with black eyeliner. I feel like a scruff; I’m still wearing the sweatpants I slept in, and I haven’t had a shower yet.

“Shall I make some coffee,” Fay asks.

“No I got it under control.” I gesture towards the table. “You guys sit down and relax. Are you hungry?”

They both nod their heads. I plate up the pancakes and top them with the sliced strawberries. I put some cutlery and a bottle of syrup on the table.

“Dig in; I’ll join you in a minute.”

I place one pancake on a small plate and take it to Mum’s bedroom. It doesn’t look much, but she won’t even eat half of it. I knock before opening her door. She’s propped up on her pillows, watching TV. I sit down on the edge of her bed. She glances at the plate. “I’m not hungry,” she says.

I scoop a small piece of pancake and strawberry onto the fork, and hold it out to her. “Just have a couple of mouthfuls, Mum. Please.”

She sighs, but she takes the fork from my hand. She chews slowly, then eats two more forkfuls before she informs me she’s full. I shove what’s left of the pancake into my mouth.

“I figure I’ll get the girls out of your hair today, let you have the house to yourself. I need to take our car in for a service; they’re coming along with me.” It occurs to me that I haven’t asked them if they want to go surfing, but I’m sure they’ll prefer it to hanging around here. “Emily is going to spend the day with you.”

Mum smiles, she likes our neighbour.

When I get back to the kitchen, Pia & Fay have started on their breakfast. I pour us all some coffee, and smother my pancakes in syrup. I see Pia has hardly any syrup on her plate. I point my fork at the bottle. “Use as much as you want, I have more in the cupboard.”

She shakes her head. “I have enough.”

My eyes widen. “Seriously. You’re not on a diet are you?” I like to cook, I don’t think I could be with someone who picks at a salad, and doesn’t like to eat.

“No. I just don’t want to drown my pancakes in syrup.”

Fay picks up the bottle and pours more syrup on her plate. “There, are you happy now?” she asks, raising an eyebrow at me. “And they say women nag.”

  I grin at her. “Pig.”

She laughs and pokes her tongue out at me. I notice she has her tongue pierced.

“Nice. Did it hurt?” I ask.

“A little, but I like it.”

I look across at Pia. “Have you got any piercings I don’t know about?”

Fay snorts. “You should know. I think you’ve explored most of her body haven’t you, Lover boy?”

I watch Pia’s cheeks turn pink. She slaps Fay on the arm. “No I don’t have any.”

“I’m thinking about getting my nipples pierced,” I tell them. “What do you think, Pee Aitch? Will it look good?”

She shrugs and sips her coffee. Maybe it’s time to change the subject. “Do you guys want to come surfing today?” I glance at Fay. “Ash is coming along.”

Pia frowns, and bites her lip. “I can’t swim, and I don’t know how to surf.”

I collect the plates and load them into the dishwasher. “That’s no problem. I’ll teach you.”

“I’m up for it. Sounds like fun,” Fay says.

Pia rinses out our coffee cups. “I’ll come to the beach, but I don’t think I’ll surf.”

I pick up Ash, Liam and Coll on the way. Pia sits in the back with Fay. I’d rather she was sitting next to me, but after last night I don’t want to push her into anything. Liam and Coll squeeze into the back with them, and Ash gets into the front seat.

The beach is deserted except for a few surfers. In the summer season this beach is always packed with people who love the long stretch of sand. It may not be summer but it’s sunny and warm. Pia grips the hem of her dress and pulls it off over her head. She’s wearing her tiny, red, striped bikini. She pulls her towel out of her beach bag, and bends over to lay it out on the sand. Damn, her ass is fine. My dick stands to attention. I try to will it back down before I remove my jeans, but with Pia in a bikini right there in front of me, my dick is on a mission. Nothing else for it, I close my eyes for a second and visualise my mum, scowling at me. That does the trick. I strip down to my swim trunks, and avoid looking in Pia’s direction. It doesn’t work, my eyes are drawn to her. I smile as I notice she’s staring at my abs. I’m glad she still likes what she sees. Ash and I go off to hire a couple of boards.

When we get back, Pia and Fay are spread out on their towels. Liam and Coll are playing around in the sea. I crouch down beside Pia. “Are you ready to learn to surf, Pee Aitch?” She shakes her head. “I promise I’ll take care of you, and you can practice on the sand first.”

She shakes her head again. “You go surf, have fun. I’ll watch.”

It won’t be much fun without her.

Fay stands, and secures her long hair into a bun. “C’mon Ash, you can teach me,” she says, as she loops her arm through his.

They head off towards the sea. I sit down next to Pia. “I’ll stay here with you.”

She pouts her pretty, pink lips. “Don’t be silly. You love surfing and you’ve paid for the board. Go surf. I’ll enjoy watching you.”

Okay, so now she’s stroked my ego. It kind of turns me on that she’ll be watching, and admiring my body. I hope.

When I get down to the water’s edge, Ash is holding the board while Fay lies on her stomach on top of it, paddling her arms. Liam and Coll look to be in
the middle of a passionate kiss. I lie on my board and paddle out to the waves. I get to a standing position, and ride the wave with ease. I love to surf. I can forget my shitty life when I’m out here, feeling the rush and the exhilaration. The waves are good today. Jo and I used to come here all the time, Newquay has the best waves in the whole of Cornwall. He taught me to surf. He was always better than me. Damn, I miss him. I glance across at Fay to see how she’s doing. She’s still paddling on the board, but Ash isn’t with her. I look over to the beach and see him sitting next to Pia. What the fuck. I paddle my board back to the shore, and leave it by the water’s edge as I run over to them. He’s sitting way too close to her. His head is dipped in towards hers, their foreheads are almost touching. Is he moving in for a kiss? Is she going to let him? I sit down beside her so that my leg is touching hers. She jumps. “Oh, you’re cold and wet,” she says. That took her attention away from him.

“You having fun?” I ask, as I shoot a glare at Ash.

She smiles at me. “Yes. Are you done surfing?”

I shrug. “Yeah, the waves aren’t that good today.”

“The waves seemed perfect to me,” Ash says.

Yeah, perfect for drowning you. Pia’s hair has fallen over her eye. I reach out and tuck it behind her ear. She has beautiful eyes, and I want to see them. I glare at Ash. “How would you know, you were only out there for thirty seconds.” I glance over at Fay. “I think she’s got the paddling down. What are you going to teach her next?”

“Oh poor Fay. I didn’t mean to steal you away from her. You go and continue her lesson.” Pia smiles at Ash. He frowns but gets up and heads over towards Fay.

I stroke my fingers through Pia’s hair. “How about I teach you to swim, Pee Aitch.”

She looks down at her hands, and fiddles with her ring. “Oh, I don’t know.”

I drop my arm around her shoulders. “C’mon, it’s a useful skill to learn.”

“Okay, promise you won’t let me drown.”
