“You don’t have to tell me anything you don’t want to,” he said.

“I’ll tell you whatever you want to know. All of it, if you want.”

Richard gently turned her, putting her back against the wall, and kissed her again, a different kiss, this one full of arousal. His reached for her breast, a gentle squeeze, his other hand on her thigh, pulling her in. “This is all I want right now.”

Not here, Melissa silently pleaded. Not against the wall, not like Marcus. A comparison she didn’t want, a comparison Richard would lose, at least in this arena.

She didn’t want to deny him, and she wanted him too, but not like this.

Richard kissed her neck, then between her breasts, working his way down, his face was at her waist, he was getting on his knees, to—

  “Richard, no, don’t, I can’t, I shouldn’t. . .”

He froze, on his knees in front of her, about to raise her skirt. For the briefest second she imagined him doing it, lifting her skirt, finding her naked underneath, tasting her, not knowing what she still held inside her.

She couldn’t do that to him.

  “Richard, no.”

“Is that it for us?” he asked. He looked up at her, sadness overcoming his excitement, his eyes lost. “Are we done?”

“No, that’s not it at all. But I—I had sex with Marcus.”

“I know that. You texted me.”

“There was more after that night.”

“I had assumed that. It’s okay.” He eased his hand up her leg.

“Richard—this morning. I was with Marcus this morning.” She ran her fingers through his hair, as if that would soften the blow.

Richard reached both of his hands under her skirt, and when he touched her bare ass Melissa watched him flinch, then he pulled her close, his head resting between her legs. “Is that why you won’t let me lick you?”

She nodded, mute, pulling his head to her, wanting him close even as the irony of it hit her, his face even closer to her pussy.

Richard should have recoiled from her, and she should have been disgusted with herself, but neither of them moved, and then he said, “I want to see,” and instantly her entire body flushed, turned on by it, by all of it, by the unthinkable.

She could barely speak. “Not here. I want to be in our bed.”

Melissa pulled him up, and then led him by the hand up the stairs, rushing now, so help her, wanting this.

In the bedroom, darkened by the closed drapes, Richard turned on the light, but Melissa clicked it off. “No. I want to do it our way.”

She unbuttoned his shirt, slowly. When she undid his belt and lowered his pants he was already hard, and she caressed his cock, her mouth reaching for his. His hands were on her blouse, and then her bra, her nipples tingling against his skin.

  So warm. . .

This heat, nothing like Marcus, comforting and arousing, yet without the searing inferno.

Richard reached to unzip her skirt, but she stepped away and said, “I’ll do it.” This would the first part of her telling him about what she had done with Marcus, her confession, but also something she knew he wanted to hear, that he would be excited hearing. And seeing.

Melissa let her skirt fall to the floor, baring her nakedness, her swollen pussy, some of that still from earlier that morning, when Marcus had taken her.

She saw Richard swallow hard, understanding. He stared at her red nipples, then his eyes locked on her pussy. “Did he fuck you?”

“He did. More than once.” She paused. “And before we do anything, I want you to know something else. Just in case you want to change your mind.”

“What?” Richard’s voice shook, he didn’t want to know, yet he craved knowing.

“Marcus came in me,” she said. “Just a few hours ago.”

Richard moaned, and his cock jumped, his chest visibly rising and falling, his eyes fluttering. “Is there more?”

“A lot more. I told you I’ll tell you everything, if that’s what you want.”

  “What do you want?”

The question Melissa had asked herself so many times. What did she want, really? Such a simple question, but one that could have no simple answer, at least for her.

An idea began to form; no, it had formed a long time ago, in her very first conversation with Julie, the one about being able to have it all.

It could start right here. “More than anything, I want you to make love to me. If you still want me.”

Gently, Richard took her hand and guided her to the bed. She lay on her back, spreading her legs, the missionary position, what Richard would expect, what he would want. Familiar, but in the best of ways.

Richard held himself above her, she could feel his arms quivering, he was so nervous, yet excited and aroused. He was so handsome, his physical features even more appealing because of how he felt about her, how she felt about him.

Melissa reached down to her pussy, her fingers slipping inside, feeling the wetness, wondering how much of it was hers, how much of it was from Marcus, his cum still inside her, some of it deep, on its way through her womb, the rest perhaps lubricating her even now.

And then Richard was inside her, and she felt the heat spread through her entire body, a cradling warmth, and she knew he wasn’t going to last long, she didn’t care, this was for him, and soon he closed his eyes, and all Melissa did was watch him, not thinking about herself, just enjoying his pleasure.

She wrapped her arms and legs around him as his thrusts quickened, and when he began to pulsate inside her she squeezed him, and it felt so good, not just the sex, but all of it, a togetherness that had a power all of its own.

She felt his release, imagined his seed joining with that of Marcus, all mixed inside, a perfect analogy for what she wanted, the essence of both men, combining with her at the same time, flowing over her and into her and through her.

When Richard finished he opened his eyes. “I’m sorry I couldn’t last very long.”

She smiled, wonderfully content. “I can’t tell you how very happy that actually makes me feel.”

“What can I do for you?”

Melissa knew what Richard wanted, the complication of his fetish so intertwined in all this. “Just hold me, please?”

They embraced on the bed, face to face, holding each other tight, a post coital bliss. At that minute Melissa knew for certain that she had married the right man, she felt closer than ever to him. Much closer than she could ever possibly feel with Marcus.

She also realized she had sacrificed a lot in her marriage, maybe too much. There would always be some sacrifices, she had no problem with that. But the hot, wild desire, the scorching, startling sex, the unknown depths she might explore, that was something she loved. Craved. Needed.

This was the breakthrough she needed to understand herself. The recognition and appreciation of her wants and desires, the combination which would make her into a complete woman. The realization that she truly needed both the passion and the pragmatic, the mysterious and the known, the subservience and the equality. It was simply who she was.

Yet this would always be home. Not this house maybe, but here, in Richard’s arms.

“Was it as good as you remembered?” he asked.

  “It was better,” she replied.

“Do you mean with me? Or with Marcus?”

Melissa couldn’t lie to him, she wouldn’t lie to him. Certainly not now.

  “Both,” she admitted.

Richard gently put his forehead against hers. She couldn’t see his eyes as he asked, “Does this mean you’ll be leaving?”

Melissa squeezed him tighter, then leaned her head back, she wanted him to see her, to see the truth in her words.

“Listen to me, this is very important. With Marcus, it was better in only one way. The physical way, the sex. I wasn’t wrong—we weren’t wrong. There’s a part of me that missed it, wanted it. But it’s different with Marcus. I don’t want you to be him. And he can’t be you, and e
ven if he could, I wouldn’t want that. I’m sure of it.”

Melissa hesitated, seeing her words begin to sink in, knowing she had just admitted that she liked sex with Marcus better than with her own husband. “But with you, right now, I feel everything I had felt for you before, nothing has changed. And I know for sure that the other things we have, the equality, the trust, I can’t give those up, they are just as important as my cravings. Marcus isn’t better, he’s just different. You are better. I have what I want. You.”

Melissa could see Richard thinking it through, all the implications. “But you’ll still have the cravings,” he said.

“I can’t lie to you. Maybe.” Melissa considered. “Probably. But I’ll understand them better, I’ll know the cause, I’ll know it is not us that is the issue, it has nothing to do with us and what we have.”

“Will you need to do it again?”

Melissa smiled and kissed him gently on the cheek. “I can’t believe you. What you are willing to do to make me happy. It’s why I could never leave you.”

“Well, I have to confess it makes me pretty happy too.”

“I’m glad I learned that about you. I wasn’t sure at first. But now I see how it adds another dimension to everything. To us.”

“Will you want it again soon?”

“I don’t think so. Not right away. Just knowing I can will be so much for me, and I think for us. Right now, what we just did—this can do a lot for me, I know it.”

And she meant it. What she had with Marcus made her feel like a wanton woman. But what she had with Richard made her feel like more than a woman, it made her feel like a normal, healthy human being who yearned for closeness. For love.

Richard, still his pragmatic self, still thinking about the practical side of things. How it might work. “Okay. But if you have to, I think it would be easier for me next time.”

Unbidden images flashed in Melissa’s mind. Her with Marcus again. Her with Marcus, and even the platinum blonde.

She giggled, feeling ten years younger. “Well, they did announce at the reunion they were going to have annual get togethers instead of waiting every five years.”

Richard raised an eyebrow. “Maybe next time I’ll come with you.”

Melissa wondered if he meant the double entendre. It immediately made her imagine herself with the two of them, Marcus and Richard. Marcus said he didn’t share, but maybe this would be something she would decide.

She could have it all, with Richard’s help. And if he enjoyed it too, if it excited him as well, then all the better.

In the meantime, she’d have plenty to fantasize about. She thought it would carry her for a quite a while, give her everything she needed, especially if she could talk about it with Richard.

Maybe sometime soon she’d go for another jog by Vern’s house.

Richard kissed her breasts, then her stomach, sliding himself down on her, kissing and licking her all the way. Melissa knew what he wanted to do.

This time, she didn’t stop him.
