Evolving Urges (Gasoline Book 2)

“You like this dick, huh?” Chris whispered in Hailey’s ear. “I’m about to cum, baby. Gimme one last one. Please.” He growled when she tightened up within. “Fuck, yeah.”
Then he roared as he came powerfully. Just before he collapsed, he caught sight of Tommy. His eyes held fury. Shit! She’s not just anyone to him. Why didn’t he tell me? Guilt washed over him. He quickly pulled out and kissed Hailey’s cheek.
“You’re amazing,” he murmured by her ear. “Anytime you guys need me, I’m there.” He climbed off the bed and rushed to the hall bathroom, after he had closed the bedroom door behind him.
To calm himself, Tommy took deep breaths. Chris has no idea. It’s not his fault. But he fucked my girlfriend without me, dammit! Then he sighed. Shit! That’s what Giovanni feels like. Fuck! He thought of all the times he came on to Crystal without Giovanni around.
“Tommy,” Hailey called out. She hoped he could hear her.
He moved to the bed. “Right here.” He leaned down and helped her partly sit up. “I have water.” He put the glass to her lips and helped her drink. “If you’re too tired, I’ll jerk off and we can go to bed.”
“You sure?” She knew his sex drive was beyond high. “If you give me a bit, I’ll be good, with more.”
He shook his head. “You’re exhausted. It’s fine.” He checked the bedroom door, It was still closed. He kissed her lips several times. After he helped her drink some more water, he repositioned her so that her head was on a pillow.
“Hey.” Chris walked back in, fully dressed. “I’m gonna head out. OK?”
Tommy looked up. “No problem.” He grabbed a towel off the floor and wrapped it around his waist. “Hailey, I’m gonna lock up. Be right back.”
Just before Chris walked out the front door, he turned to Tommy. “Hailey...” He decided not to ask if they were a couple. “She’s cool.”
“She is.” Tommy grinned widely. “Thanks for giving her what she wanted.”
Chris nodded. “You’re welcome. ’Night.”
Tommy locked up and rushed back to the bedroom. Hailey was asleep. He raked her hair with his fingers then kissed her lips. She looked so beautiful. Before anything else, he tugged the stained comforter off and laid a fresh one over the bed. He made sure she was covered. Then he closed himself in the bathroom.
After a shower, he climbed into bed and pulled her into his arms. She promised to spend the entire next weekend with him. Friday was four days away, and he couldn’t wait. They had only known each other for a little over three weeks, but his feelings had grown. She didn’t act as if anything changed for her most of the time, though. If she hadn’t fallen asleep, she would probably have insisted she go home that night.
“ ’Night, my beautiful girl.” He kissed her neck then her cheek. “Hope we have many more nights together.” He just hoped his feelings for her were real and were not because he wanted something more.
Chapter 27
Thursday, Tommy arrived at Demonfire with his laptop bag. He was much earlier than usual. Jon’s Vulcan was parked outside, so he was sure his office was occupied. They planned to build a second office for him when the building next door was renovated. He knew he needed it. The studio had become more than a hobby for him. He was a full-fledged partner at that point. The year before, he was only there one day a week, to handle his limited duties.
Tony waved as he walked past him in the hallway. “Me and Dad are gonna start gutting the main room next door. OK?”
“We’re hiring a crew for that.” Tommy liked they were go-getters but didn’t want them to overwork themselves.
With a shrug, Tony replied, “I don’t mind. Unless you need us for something else today?”
“Nah.” Tommy smiled. “If you wanna do it, go ahead.” He went on to Jon’s office and stuck his head in. “Hey, I need to make sure we have everything set for the meeting tomorrow. I’m gonna use the conference room.”
Jon glanced up from his email. “Sure. Let me know if you need anything.”
Minutes later, Tommy was on his laptop to check his presentation. He wanted to be able to explain their plan. They may not use what he created, but he wanted to be prepared. All of the band’s representatives were friends, so the meeting should be quite casual. He was professional when it came to things like schedules and such.
Next, he checked all the music websites to make sure none of their bands had wound up in the headlines. The morning news was recently posted. His mouth dropped when Metal and More’s main page loaded. Oh, shit! Dom’s gonna flip out!
“Did you see this?” Jon walked in as he held his tablet.
Tommy frowned at the photo of Noelle and Chris. “Yeah. How the fuck’d they get that picture?” He stared at it and realized the background was familiar. “Is that the fucking parking lot?” He closed his eyes. “When did those two go outside together? And who leaked they’re doing a duet for the next album?” He was furious.
“No idea.” Jon looked at the picture again. “This looks like it was taken from a phone. Look at the angle.” He opened Guitarmania’s article and found another photo of the two of them in the studio. “We got a problem.” He showed Tommy what he found. “As soon as they show, we gotta grill the new guys. None of our crew would do this.”
They both looked through numerous sites to see if a source was mentioned, to no avail. Every music-related website had at least a captioned picture of the couple. TMZ had a few short videos. Neither had read any of the articles yet, though.
“Wow.” Tommy finally started to read the one from Metal and More. “It’s worse than we thought.” He shook his head. “Can’t they leave her alone?” He dreaded when Dominic would find out.
“I’m gonna call a few places, see if they can gimme the source.” Jon headed back to his office.
Tommy read several articles. The story was consistent. They claimed Mitchell and Noelle no longer did duets because he was jealous of Dominic. Then it went onto say she cheated on Dominic with Chris. As per the article, she got together with Chris while they recorded that week. They claimed she and Chris were seen in his car on their way to a romantic rendezvous. Then it hit him. Chris took Noelle home Tuesday because Dominic had to take his father to a doctor’s appointment. The front door slammed, and Tommy rushed into the hallway.
“Holy shit!” Sam shouted as he walked in. “Did Noelle go and get arrested or something?” He couldn’t believe the zoo in the parking lot. “They all wanna know if she’s here yet.”
Tommy’s eyebrows went up. “They who?”
“The press.” Jon walked out of the security room. “The parking lot is swarming with them.” He shook his head. “Call Dom, and give him a head’s-up. I’ll call Barbara and see if she has time to help me work on this.” She was a public relations consultant they used sometimes.

Dominic was still in bed. He had a day with his nieces and nephews planned. Noelle was to take his Jeep to work. She sold her car back in Seattle but didn’t want to buy a new one yet. He knew it was because he would pay for it. Maybe I’ll have Theresa take me to a dealer and surprise her. He knew she hated to part with her Eclipse. They still sold them. So he could get her a new one in red, like her old one.
He listened to her sing in the bathroom. Her voice always made him smile. Since Tommy suggested that Winter Winds join the monster tour they set up, both of them were happier. They had expected to be apart more often than not, unsure if her band’s album would be done in time. With Gasoline and Winter Winds on the same tour, there would be no separation. It would also make the two duets Chris and Noelle sang together doable live.
“I can’t find my hairbrush,” Noelle called from the bathroom. “Can I use yours?”
He smiled. “Yeah. Go ahead.” He turned to the partly open door. Only able to see her shadow, he assumed she was naked from the way her breasts bounced. “Can I get a bit of lovin’ before you go?” She was out of bed before he woke up that morning.

We’ll see.” She giggled. Eyes on the mirror, she carefully worked at the tangles. Conditioner helped, but she had slept fitfully. “You sure about me taking the Jeep?” It would be her first trip to the studio alone.
Dominic closed his eyes. “Yes.” He also didn’t sleep well. Half from Noelle, who tossed and turned but also from strange dreams. “Did you have any weird dreams last night?”
“I don’t remember any.” She sighed when she got the last of her hair tamed. “Is that why you jumped in the middle of the night?”
“Yeah.” He took a deep breath. “Something about the studio. Maybe I’m worried about you getting lost.” He chuckled as quiet as possible.
She glared at the door. “I’m not like that.”
“I know.” He forced the laughter to subside. “Most girls suck at directions. You do know that Manhattan is north, right?”
A solid object hit his hip. “Ow!” He lifted the hairbrush from the bed. “I was kidding.” He rubbed the sore spot. “What if you hit my dick?”
“That’s what I was aiming for.” She opened the door wider and tried to look angry. Then she burst into laughter. “Actually, I was going for your head. Guess I’ll never be a pitcher.”
His eyes roamed over her nakedness. “Not with that body, you won’t. Come here, and I’ll show you which one of us is a pitcher.” His cock had already been hard, but it felt like it grew further.
“I’m already running late.” She sashayed into the room and went to what was considered her dresser to take out clothes.
He watched her dress, each movement exaggerated. “Tease.”
When she was ready, she turned. “I’ll give you a tease.”
Her eyelids lowered as she approached the bed. After she pulled the blanket and sheet off Dominic, she crawled onto the bed. Her eyes focused on his, she ran her tongue up his rigid shaft. A gasp made her smirk. Then she leaned down and engulfed half his cock.
“Fuck. Fuck,” Dominic mumbled when she sucked hard. Then she let it fall from her mouth. He looked up to see her walk away. “Hey!”
She cocked an eyebrow. “I said tease.” Then she winked. “I’ll finish it later.”’
“Why you little—” His phone rang and shifted his attention. “Tommy? What’s up?”
Tommy pinched the bridge of his nose. “Did you guys leave yet?”
“No.” Dominic sat up. “Noelle. Wait.” He heard something he didn’t like in Tommy’s tone. “What’s wrong?”
Noelle came back in the room. “Why?”
“One sec.” Dominic waved her over to him. “Tommy’s on the phone.”
Tommy took a deep breath. He hoped he broke it to him gently. “Listen. Someone here leaked pictures of Noelle.”
“What kinda pictures?” Dominic shouted. He glanced at her, worried she had a hidden stash of dirty photos somewhere.
Leaning back in his chair, Tommy assured his friend, “Not those kinda pictures. Relax. If it were that bad, we’d be suing someone. It’s pictures of her and Chris. We don’t know who did it yet. It has to be one of the new guys.”
“So what?” Dominic shrugged and pulled Noelle onto his lap. “Who cares if they know Chris is singing with her?”
Tommy sighed. “That’s not all they’re saying. It’s like you kissing her on stage all over again. They claim she’s having an affair with him. Cheating on you now. This is beyond fucked up. The one chick I know who can be nothing but faithful is being dragged through the mud. Again.”
Dominic didn’t know what to say. His mouth hung open, speechless.
“What is it?” Noelle leaned back on him and tried to see his face.
To stall, Dominic held her tighter. He hid his reaction with a nuzzle to her neck. “Tell them it’s not true.” He knew that would not fix it.
“We will.” Tommy felt the pain in his best friend’s voice. “Jon’s unleashing Barbara on them. They’re in deep shit. Wait till we find the leak. We’ll blacklist ’em.”
Dominic stayed calm. “Is it everywhere?”
“Yeah, and man, the press is all over. You guys might have to push through them to get in here. We got Rick and Matt on their way. Jon’s probably gonna have to hire a few more to keep the parking lot clear.”
Eyes wide, Dominic hugged Noelle again. “Wait for me. I’ll get dressed.”
“Wait. Why?” She pulled away and stood up. “What’d he say?”
“Tom. We’ll be there as soon as we can.” Dominic ended the call and tossed his phone on the bed. “Someone must have seen you getting in Chris’ car the other day. The press had a field day with it.”
She pulled her lips in. Tears threatened. “Not again.”
“Hey.” He quickly got to his feet and took her in his arms. “It’ll be OK.” He kissed the top of her head. “I need to call Theresa and reschedule our play date.” He hoped it would make her laugh, but she didn’t react. “I love you, and I trust you. I know it’s all a lie. They can say whatever the fuck they want, and I’ll always be at your side. I don’t give a shit who they think you’re having an affair with. I know better.” Her slight nod was a start.
* * *
When they arrived at the studio, Dominic was shocked. Several men in “security” shirts were spread out along the perimeter of the open style parking lot. Jon and Tommy never fenced it in. Since it was a small studio, they didn’t have the same issues big name ones had. There had been a few issues with fans, but not enough to warrant anything other than cameras.
“Oh my God.” Noelle covered her mouth as the pandemonium outside overwhelmed her. There were people and cameras all over. Even a news van or two. “Why do they care who I’m with?” She never understood that.
Dominic patted her leg as Rick cleared path for him to get into the lot. “You’re a household name, sweetheart. I don’t think you realize how famous you are.”
“I guess not.” She never expected stardom to be so complicated, though. “I’m glad we don’t need Chris today.”
“Me, too.” Dominic parked and looked her way again. “Stay here. Let me make sure things are good to go.”
An unfamiliar security man glared at Dominic. “I need to see some ID.”
Dominic pulled out his wallet and handed over his license. “Can you keep an eye on my Jeep?”
“Sure, Mr. Spinelli. Mr. Fischer is waiting on you.”
Glad the man knew who he was, Dominic went inside. “Tommy?”
“In here!” Tommy shouted from the conference room. When Dominic walked in, he stood up. “No idea how we’re gonna have this meeting tomorrow with all the vultures around.”
Dominic had forgotten about that. “I doubt Shane or Brandon want to be hounded.” He leaned on the doorframe. “Noelle’s in the car. Are they still recording today?”
“Yeah.” Tommy was glad Dominic was not upset by the melee. “Everyone else is here. I’ll have Dwayne escort her in.” His phone went off, and he grinned. That was the ringtone he set for Hailey. “Hang on.” He hit the accept button. “Hey, babe. What’s up?”
Hailey was in her office. It had already been a trying day. “I have a request for tonight.”
“Tonight? Really?” Tommy’s eyebrows rose. They had not planned to see each other until the next night. “What?”
She bit her lip. “Can we go to a swingers club or something and pick up a girl? One that doesn’t know you? We can bring her to a hotel in a Manhattan for a few hours. We both have to work tomorrow. It’s Ladies’ Night at Eve’s Paradise tonight.”
She craved a woman. Since she met him, she had not had the time to meet up with any women. Although she was free to be with whoever she wanted, she wanted to include him in this. He expressed a great interest in her bisexual nature.
“Exactly what I need.” Tommy held in the growl. “We doing this—” He glanced up at Dominic. “Uh, I’m not alone, Dom’s here. So we can talk specifics later. OK?”
Hailey smiled. “Sure.” She heard a lot about Dominic. One day, she hoped to talk to
him for more than a few seconds. Since he was Tommy’s closest friend, she was sure they would get along.
“I’ll call you later, Hailey.”
Dominic grinned. “Guess she isn’t sick of your crazy ass yet.”
“Nope.” Tommy knew he wasn’t serious, so he jabbed him right back. “She happens to like my ass.” He winked. “Very much.”
Taken aback, Dominic replied, “I do not wanna know what she does to your ass. TMI. Really.”
Jon bellowed from the hallway, “What the fuck?”
“Ah, shit. What now?” Tommy hurried to find Jon. He was at the front door, helping Noelle. Dwayne and one of the new guys had to force someone with a camera out. “Dom!”
Dominic entered the hallway and grabbed Noelle. “You all right?”
She nodded. “I think so. He didn’t let them touch me.”
Jon soon stood behind her. “We’re moving this to my place until it blows over.” He shook his head, disgusted by the paparazzi frenzy. “Why can’t we just lead normal lives?” He knew the answer but was sick of it. “Noelle, do you want to finish today out here or just go back to Jersey?”
“I’m not going outside now.” She clung to Dominic. “I’m sorry this is happening again.”
Dominic kissed her forehead. “Relax. You didn’t do anything wrong. They’ll do anything to get people to check their site a hundred times.” He had gone through a few scandals in his career, mostly with women, but some when he was an addict, too. “We’ve gone though this a lot over the years. It gets annoying, but it’ll blow over. Just like it did last time.”
Chapter 28
Tommy walked into Demonfire the next morning with a wide grin on his face. The night before was amazing. He let Hailey chose their third, who did not give a name, and they didn’t ask. It was as anonymous as possible. She chose a sweet blonde with a nice rack. He enjoyed watching them, but when they beckoned him to the bed, he was in heaven. They attacked him together. Nothing like the torture twins from Michigan. Hailey and the blonde took care of him like no groupie could.
