On the Scent

He owed it all to the beautiful, stubborn woman he now held in his arms.
Hannah arched a brow as her fingers drew a circle over his heart. “I’m not opposed to spending the night every now and then, if you want.”
If he wanted. Was she kidding?
It had killed him to keep his hands off her these last few weeks, but she had insisted on no funny business while he healed.
He leaned down and nuzzled her neck. “I like the sound of that.”
A part of him was always going to be scared to death she was going to wise up and leave him, but he planned to give her every reason he could think of to stay. He didn’t have to be psychic to know one thing.
Someday she was going to marry him. She just didn’t know it yet.
About the Author
Angela Campbell
I read my first romance at 16 and immediately attempted to write one, too. Many attempts (and a couple of decades) later, I finally published my first novel. A mild-mannered newspaper reporter with more than 15 years experience as a general assignment reporter, features editor and graphic designer, I have also worked as a production assistant in TV and film. I now live in the Southeast with my rescue cat. Learn more about my books at www.angelacampbellonline.com.
