Unwilling Dragon Love
Jason Foreman spent the last several months dancing around the strange relationship he has with Dragon warrior Kraigan Snow. First he can't stand Kraigan, his threats or attitude, but then Jason loves nothing better than to tease the man and stay close. After Kraigan saves Jason's life, he's started to look at Kraigan in a whole new light, and the way Kraigan kissed him isn't helping his growing fantasies.
Kraigan wasn't sure when it happened, this feeling he has for the annoying human that built into lust, but now he wants Jason, desperately. When Jason finally gives in, Kraigan's feelings, the ones he'd buried so deeply he'd forgotten they existed, grow so quickly that he pushes Jason away.
But it's too late. He loves Jason, that bratty human with the smart mouth, and he might be too late to confess it to the man after Jason is attacked by a radical who wants humans and dragons to stay separate forever.

Chapter One
In that exact moment, there was no one in the whole entire world that Jason Foreman hated more than Kraigan Snow. He hated him, hated him, hated his guts and wished with everything inside of him that his glare would be enough to make the man’s body melt into a pile of sludge on the floor.
A floor that Kraigan hadn’t touched in what seemed like at least an hour. He was doing...pull-ups? Jason wasn’t sure. In his village, where he had been one of the poorer residents, his exercise had come from working lumber and stone cutting with his best friend, Adam. It seemed that in this nest of dragons, all the men had to stay in shape from fighting, and when there was no fighting to be had, they ran around in circles, lifted weights, and used their bodies to strengthen their arms.
Kraigan had broken his leg not too long ago, but Jason was pretty sure that, even though he wasn’t completely healed, Kraigan wasn’t worrying too much about falling and making the bone pop back out of his skin.
He was like a...like a machine of some sort. Sweat beaded on his skin and on every ridge and swell of muscle, making the man glisten and shine as though he’d oiled himself up before grabbing onto the bar above his head, pulling himself up to his chin, and then letting himself drop again. Up to his chin and then back down.
Jason wanted to grab a feather and use it to tickle under the man’s arms, making him stop, but with his luck, Kraigan would be the sort of man who wasn’t ticklish on any part of his body.
He hated him so much.
“Why don’t you just stop already? You made your point,” Jason said, grousing as he watched Kraigan’s continued up and down movements.
The sweat had gone right through the thin, white cotton shirt Kraigan had been wearing, highlighting his chest and abs. They were so damned nice, more defined and better than anything Jason had.
Jason was starting to worry that he was going soft after living in the nest for so long, and meanwhile, Kraigan was showing off.
Kraigan shook his head. “Not yet,” he said, still puffing out breaths and sucking them back in through his mouth at equal intervals. He wasn’t panting, and though he had to be tired, he barely showed it.
Jason glared at him. “You just have to make a point, don’t you?”
Was Kraigan smiling? That asshole was smiling!
Oh fuck, not only that, but the constant movement of his body, coupled with the sweat of his workout, was clearly making his leggings just damp and heavy enough that they were starting to slide down his hips.
Jason had already noticed that from before, but this was different. They looked a little lower this time. Not in any actual danger of falling off and exposing Kraigan’s cock—which was probably as massive as the rest of him and Jason needed to stop thinking about Kraigan’s dick—but
it was definitely enough to expose firm hips and the solid V-shape that pointed down to his pelvis. The little red trail of hairs that led down to his treasure trove had nothing on that V-shape. There was even a tattoo there, a tiny snowflake, with a red drop of what had to be blood on it.
Even something that shouldn’t have been sexy was. That snowflake was probably nothing. Probably just there because of Kraigan’s last name. Snow. All the same, Jason was intrigued with it. He frowned and bit down on the inside of his cheek before scratching the back of his neck and looking away.
Not fair. So not fair. If Jason had known that this was going to happen to him, then he wouldn’t have made this stupid bet with Kraigan in the first place. He would’ve just gone about his merry way, teasing the hell out of Kraigan about the man having to be his servant.
A couple of weeks ago, Jason had been kidnapped. Several rogue, traitorous dragons, who were tired of the new human getting away with damn near whatever he wanted, had decided to take Jason and a couple of others and leave the nest with them in an attempt to sell them back to their old village.
The village that had tried to kill him.
Thankfully, help had been sent for Jason and the other kidnapped humans, one of which had been Jason’s younger sister.
Kraigan had come for Jason, and he’d saved him, but then he’d been injured, breaking his leg fighting off the dragons who’d betrayed their nest.
Kraigan had told Jason to leave him, to run, but Jason hadn’t done that. Despite the animosity he and Kraigan had shared ever since they’d met, he didn’t want to leave an injured man to die.
Even though there had also been wild werewolves out that night, sniffing out Kraigan’s blood.
Jason had grabbed Kraigan, which had been incredibly difficult considering his size, and the two of them hobbled as fast as they could to an underground, hidden safe house.
The wild werewolves had been unable to find them buried like that. Jason had saved Kraigan’s life, making them both even.
It wasn’t until the next day, when they were both on their way back to the nest, that they were attacked again. A group of werewolves, so wild that even the coming morning hadn’t been enough to change them back into their human selves, had sprung.
Kraigan had pushed Jason out of the way, trying to distract the wolves with a fight against a creature who was still wounded.
The perfect target for them.
Jason, however, hadn’t run again. Probably because he was the biggest moron he knew. Anyone else would have run, and looking back, Jason knew that he absolutely should have run for it.
But he hadn’t. Using his massive strength, Kraigan had killed one of the wolves, snapping its neck, and with Jason’s super amazing quick thinking, he’d grabbed onto a couple of heavy rocks with sharp edges.
He’d smashed in the skull of one of them before it could bite off Kraigan’s face.
The other wolves had retreated then, whining and yipping as two of their own had been killed.
That was how Kraigan came to owe Jason his life.
And, naturally, Jason had celebrated his one-up on Kraigan by dancing in front of his hospital bed and announcing to everyone who heard it that Kraigan had to be his servant.
Somehow, it hadn’t turned out like that. Kraigan had yet to serve Jason in anything, and Jason found himself following the man around, or being followed by Kraigan, just because.
They were both weird.
Kraigan eventually got sick enough of Jason’s bitching about how he should be working off his debt to him that he’d just snapped.
Giddy with glee, Jason offered the man a bet. If he would do one of his precious warrior exercises for more than an hour without stopping, Jason would release him from his debt.
He hadn’t expected the man to actually do it! What the hell? This wasn’t even fair!
Neither was the way that drop of clean sweat trickled down from the soaked part of Kraigan’s shirt, getting caught up in the grooves of his abs and then sliding home into the curve of that V.
Down, down, and now it was gone, vanishing into Kraigan’s leggings and beneath.
Jason groaned.
Kraigan stopped. “Are you all right?”
Jason shook his head. “I’m fine. I—” He finally noticed what Kraigan was doing. He was holding himself up to the bar, perfectly still now, with his chin at the same level as the metal.
He hardly appeared as though he struggled with holding the position. Shouldn’t his body be trembling from the effort?
Asshole was just showing off again. Jason scowled at him. “I didn’t say stop. You have five more minutes until your time is up,” he snapped, pointing to the hourglass very nearly out of sand.
Kraigan grinned, of course, and continued on. “What say we start another competition?” he asked.
“Why, are you tired?” Jason asked hopefully.
On a second glance, there was no chance of that, and Kraigan even chuckled, as if the suggestion was something of a funny joke.
“No,” he said, puffing out another breath on his way back up. “If I can do this for another hour, you will have to take your clothes off.”
It was both the bet and what he would have to pay that made Jason’s eyes bulge. “You can do that for another hour?”
Kraigan glanced at him, his mouth crooking up, white teeth exposed in a wicked grin.
This had all been just playtime for him. He didn’t need to go through with this at all.
“Why do this if you didn’t have to?” Jason asked. “If you knew you could do that for an hour, then why take me up on the offer?”
“Because it was so easy,” Kraigan said.
Jason felt as though that information slammed into his head with all the pain and force that something so obviously missed could cause.
“Should’ve seen that coming,” he muttered.
“So? Will you do it?”
Jason looked back at him. Kraigan wasn’t looking at him anymore. His gaze was focused up and ahead, as though he was staring at some invisible thing that he needed to help hold his focus.
Jason was reminded of that kiss. The one where Kraigan had grabbed onto him and his hand, warm and yet callused from years of battles and hard work, wound around the back of his neck. It had produced a delectable shiver that hadn’t matched anything Jason had felt before it and then magnified it by a thousand when Kraigan had put their lips together.
Then moved his lips in the kissing sense.
The worst part about it had been how immediately needy, how horny Jason had become. He’d had to run the hell out of there, back to his shared room with the other servants where he could hide, and even that hadn’t been enough because Jason couldn’t get any sleep.
He’d had to get up and head into the newly installed shower room for some private time with his right hand.
A long, drawn-out private time that didn’t seem to end, even after shooting three times.
“Jason?”
Jason jumped. Not just because his name had been called, but because of the harsh bang that sounded, echoing throughout the large room.
Kraigan had dropped down from the bar he’d been holding himself up on, catching himself on only the one good leg. He was walking fine now on his other leg, even though it still needed a wrap, but it was probably best for him to not be putting over two hundred pounds of pressure on it, or however much the man weighed multiplied by the force of gravity.
“Why would you expect me to agree to something like that when you’ve basically said that you can do it? What makes you think I want to take my clothes off for you?”
He crossed his arms when he said it, just to make himself look all the more serious, even though he did want to take his clothes off.
Yes, please, right now would be great because his dick was starting to feel pretty damned tight in his leggings.
And for whatever reason, he’d worn the good pair. The pair he’d commissioned because they made his legs look amazi
ng, as well as his ass. He was also wearing the new leather boots he’d bought a while back.
All of these had been made with the intention of impressing his almost-boyfriend Kevan, the asshole who had just wanted to lure Jason into his room so his friends could gang up on him.
Jason hadn’t been interested in impressing anyone since then. Except for Kraigan.
Oh yeah, Kraigan had saved him on that night, too. Had it not been for him showing up, Jason didn’t want to think about what all those guys would have done.
Kraigan seemed to be studying him, both of them silent as he rubbed his hand over his jaw, and then his mouth curled upward.
Fuck, that was sexy. So amazingly fucking sexy.
Kraigan had a perpetual scowl on his face. Even when his mouth wasn’t scowling, his eyes were, but this only added to his appeal for whatever magical reason.
Then he started walking forward, limping, really, but he even made that look good. Kraigan Snow got all up in Jason’s personal space, forcing him to lean back and look up at the much taller, much stronger man, and the air around him became warm, warmer than it should have been, and the smell of clean sweat and spice wafted into Jason’s nose.
Fuck, more…
Chapter Two
Kraigan knew he had him. He could tell. He finally had the man right where he wanted him. Jason’s honey-colored eyes were wide. Kraigan could see his own reflection in of them. He was a predator staring down at his prey. And Jason most definitely was his prey.
He put his hands on the man’s shoulders. Jason’s lips parted, as though he wanted to suck in a breath, shocked for being touched at all.
