The female turned and got a good look at me. Her eyes widened with shock. Then she looked back at Terik. What the hell was going on here?
"This is Dr. Adams? But… How is that possible when earlier we…" She began to say.
"Say nothing more of that. Do you hear me?" Terik said to her sternly. She quickly closed her gaping mouth and followed orders and said, "Understood. Dr. Adams, if you will follow me."
I looked at Terik and he quickly looked away from me. Why was he avoiding me? I followed the female Drackon out of the office but as I did I turned over my shoulder and said, "Thank you, Sentinel Vuna, for your hospitality."
Then I walked out. I followed the Drackon female quietly until we had moved down three different hallways away from Terik’s office. Then I finally said, "Are you going to tell me what that was all about?"
She smiled and said, "No, I'm sorry, but I'm not at liberty to say."
"Alright, I guess I will have to accept that. I have not seen a female Drackon before. Do you work for the Sentinel?"
"Yes, I am his assistant. You may call me Luqan," she said.
"Assistant? So you must handle a lot of his affairs, especially intimate ones. Did you know that today is not the first time I have seen Sentinel Vuna?" I said, trying to get information out of her.
"Oh, is that so?" She said as she pressed her hand against the wall and a door opened. I followed her inside.
"Yes, I saw his photo at the registration office. I put him down as one of my choices for a match. In fact, I put him down as my number one choice, but it didn't exactly work out under the circumstances with Captain Mordikye."
Luqan turned to me and smiled a big grin, and said nothing more of the matter. Instead she began to give me a tour of the living quarters, which were a lot like my living quarters on the ship. "Here is what you humans call the kitchen, there's fresh food and water to drink. Over there on the other side of that half wall is a resting bed. And through the door is a private washroom facilities. Here on this panel is a communication line that will connect you with an operator. If you ask the operator for me, Luqan, I will get in touch with you shortly after. Have a good rest, you must be very exhausted after such an intense trip with Captain Mordikye. I know how intense he can be," she said with a mysterious smile as she left the room.
I was suspicious of that smile, what exactly did she mean? Had she been intimate with Captain Mordikye? Had she been intimate with Sentinel Vuna? I don't see why either of them would not partake in indulging with her. She was attractive and available, working with them side-by-side as one of the only females around. I went to the washroom and was excited to see a bathtub. I quickly fill the tub with hot water and took off my clothes to sink into a hot bath--my first since I had left Earth. As I allowed myself to rest I began to think of my circumstances. I had to come up with a way to stay and go to Mooreah. I had to come up with some sort of plan. What if I was able to have direct contact with the registration office on Earth? Surely I was not the first human female to be matched with a Drackon warrior only to arrive and find that he was not available for marriage. They must have a system for this. They should be able to match me quickly because I was already here. That had to be it. I was not going to give up on my mission to find the flagion rocks. It was a start to a plan. I would ask to meet with Sentinel Terik Vuna after I had some rest and some food. Now that I had a plan I allowed my mind to wonder. As it did it wondered to Terik Vuna. Before I knew it my hand was between my thighs rubbing my clit. I could not stop once I started and after seeing the alien warrior in the flesh I needed some release. My mind replayed the image of him in dragon form. He was strong, fierce, and fast. It was overwhelming me as I thought about the scales on his body and his silver wings behind him. He was a beast of an alien, and it was such a turn on. It was exactly the thought I needed as I felt the pulsations in my body grow more intense until I exploded into ecstasy. I breathed hard in the tub trying to catch my breath as I let out a soft moan of sweet release. It was what I had needed.
Chapter 5
CAPTAIN MORDIKYE NEZIS
I smiled smugly to myself as I paced back and forth in my prison cell. This was not the end for me. I was proud that I had charged and attacked Sentinel Vuna the way that I had. It had been coming for a long time, because of our past. But I had never seen him so angry. In those last few moments he had me pinned and was bashing me on the head as though there was some other source to his madness, besides being angry about illegal cargo. He had let loose an anger that came from the heart, and I could only assume it was from the past. But I had my suspicions. I had to admit that his beating was severe, and my head was pounding. But I would heal quickly; I always did. I knew that this prison cell would not be my home forever. I had already made arrangements. When I met with my buyer for the plutonium, I made sure to make another arrangement just in case this happened. A good captain was always prepared.
When I exchanged the plutonium for wealth, I made sure that the wealth was stored on another planet, one not owned by the Drackon. It was a distant planet called Riolb that was two galaxies over. It was a planet full of outlaws and one could get lost there and create a new identity. I had already had a second life set up for me, my warriors that were devoted to me, and of course my new wife Adriana Adams. She would still be mine, Earth contract be damned.
"Captain, over here," I heard a voice whisper. I looked around my locked prison cell and out of the bars to the hall. The hall was empty.
"Who is there?" I whispered back.
"Captain, the window. Over here," I heard the voice say. I looked over to the window to see my Lieutenant Rix hanging upside down. He was shifted into dragon form, and must have his entire body on the roof. Only his head was hanging down from the high window.
"Lieutenant Rix, what news? How did you escape?" I whispered as I went over to the window.
"It seems that the king himself has ordered Sentinel Vuna to arrest you. They know about the cargo, the plutonium. I think you will be indicted and sent to prison forever," he whispered.
"Shit. How could they know? It does not matter now I guess. I must escape."
"Yes, precisely. I escaped and came directly here. If we pull on these bars together, I think our strength can set you free. We must go quickly. We must go now," he said.
"No, that is too brash. We will get caught. We need a plan. We will have to leave Sala and Mooreah and our Drackon behind. We must leave far into deep space. We must find a new home. We cannot do that without a ship. This is the plan. I want you to find out where the Beti is being kept. I want her fueled and ready to go in secret. I need you to find out where Adriana is being held. When I escape I plan to take her. I need all these parts of the plan to be together so that when I free myself from the cell, I can get it all done within minutes and launch into space. Go now. Report back to me. Be careful do not be seen," I said.
"But Captain…" he began to say.
I cut him off, "Go now."
The sound of flapping wings filled the room as the lieutenant took off into flight. He would not get caught. He was one of the best warriors in the Drackon battalions. He was smart and stealthy. I had made him a Lieutenant for a reason. Now I needed his help and he needed mine. We were going to get through this. As soon as he had the report for me, I would set the plan into motion. I was pissed off that I had to choose exile over being in prison. But if I was going to be exiled and an outlaw, then I might as well be one to the fullest extent. I was also pissed off that Sentinel Vuna had busted me. I knew it was personal. We had our issues from the past, ever since we were younglings. He had always kept a close eye on me, even when I was finally made captain. Now his suspicions had made it harder for me to get away with what I had carefully devised for so long. But if I was going down, I was going to take him with me. But when I took him down, he would not be getting back up. When I escaped, I was going to kill Terik Vuna.
No matter what it took, I was going to take down the Drackon that took me down. I jumped up and gra
bbed the bars of the window. I pulled myself up and down, keeping my muscles in shape. There was nothing to do while in prison except prepare for what I needed to get done when I escaped.
Chapter 6
SENTINEL TERIK VUNA
"You wanted to see me?" I asked Adriana when I walked into her living quarters. She stood up and crossed her arms in front of her. As soon as I saw her, all those feelings came flooding back; the same passion I had when I first saw her photograph and read her biography facts.
"Yes, that was yesterday. What took you so long?" She said.
"You're angry at me," I said leaning against the wall and crossing my arms in front of me. I was amused by her lack of fear when she spoke to me. The power that I held in my title position did not scare her. I liked that about her. She seemed fearless, even though she was in a strange world under suspicious circumstances. She was still strong. Her strong will attracted me to her even more.
"It's called a job. I have many responsibilities as the Land Sentinel, and as you know I have a very immediate case. That is what took me so long. I'm a very busy Drackon," I said to her.
"And I am a human, and I would think the fact that I am a living being would give me some precedence over at least a few of your responsibilities."
She stepped closer to me as she took on a tone of scolding me as if I were a youngling. Her nose wrinkled up when she did so; it was very sexy.
"Very well, I am here now. What is it that you wanted to see me about?" I asked her while moving closer. As I did so her gaze fell on my chest and did not leave it. She seemed to be frozen in thought. I liked it that I had this effect on her. Perhaps she wasn't exactly Captain Mordikye’s. Maybe her heart did not belong to him.
"Adriana...?" I said trying to snap her out of her gaze.
"What? Oh, right. I wish to speak of my circumstances. I would like to ask permission to contact the registration office on Earth," she said as she turned around and faced the wall. Her back was now to me. It allowed me to look at her ample backside. It was torture not to reach out and touch it.
"Why do you want to contact the registration office?" I asked her.
"I want to inquire if they can find me another Drackon match for a husband. It seems a wasted trip that I have come this far all the way to Sala, just to be sent all the way back to Earth, where I will have to undergo the match process again. Then I'll have to make another trip out here. I think if I plead my case to the registration office they can match me with a Drackon quickly because of my special circumstances. Therefore, I would very much like to contact them," she said laying out her case to me.
What she said made sense to me, but a part of me did not want her to be matched again. What if she was matched to someone other than myself. I would need to give this some thought.
"I hear your request, Dr. Adams. I shall see what I can do. In the meantime, I have been called back to Mooreah. I must sit with the king about the situation with Captain Mordikye. I will be gone for two days."
"You're leaving me?" She burst out the words quickly. When I looked at her in confusion, she turned away embarrassed. I do not think she meant to say that out loud.
"No, the king wishes to sit with you as well. And since you told me of your love of the land, I thought you might want to see some of Mooreah. I can show you," I said to her knowing that what I was really asking was permission to spend time with her. It hurt my pride to admit it.
Her face lit up with a bright smile and she jumped up and down in excitement. It was not the reaction I was expecting, but it was one that captured my heart immediately.
"Yes! Yes! I would love to see it!" She said as she ran straight toward me and threw her arms around me in a hug of gratitude. It caught me off guard. Her body was warm against mine and her head pressed just above my stomach. She was so petite and delicate. I didn't dare hug her in return. If I put my arms around her I would not be able to stop myself from other actions. Her pheromone scent was now all over me, and I didn't know how much more of it I could handle. She quickly pulled away from me and looked up, as I looked down at her. Her brown eyes were wide with embarrassment. She took a few steps backwards away from me and said, "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. I was just so excited."
"Well if that got you excited, I wonder what I will get when I tell you my next surprise," I said to her. It was a moment of tenderness that I was not expecting to happen; yet it left my lips anyway.
"Surprise? You have a surprise for me?" Her voice was a weak crack of a whisper.
"I do. We leave tomorrow at first light to Mooreah. But until then I thought you might want to see more of Sala. I can take you out over the mountains, if you like?" I asked her.
Her eyes lit up again and she jumped up and down. I groaned. I felt my staff getting harder. I would never get tired of seeing her do that, her body jiggling. It was very enticing.
"I would love to!" She shouted. "When? Now?" She asked me.
"No, in an hour or so. I have a few more responsibilities in my office. I will have Luqan visit you with the proper clothing attire to wear. The desert can get cold," I said as I turned my back to her, ready to leave her living quarters.
"Terik?" She said, stopping me in my tracks.
I turned to her and said "Yes?", as I stood in the doorway.
"Thank you. Being able to see the planets is everything to me. It is all I ever wanted," she said.
I wanted to say you're welcome. I wanted to say that I would do anything for you. I wanted to tell her that I had also chosen her as a wife choice. I wanted her to know that I desired her. But instead I said nothing. I could not say anything. I could only walk into the hallway, letting the door close behind me. I was getting overheated. I needed to cool off. I was supposed to go to my office, but now in my heated state I knew that I could not concentrate on my task. I went outside and shifted directly into dragon form and took flight. I needed to get this steam out of my system. I flew out away from the base port over the rocky desert. It was midday and the noon sun was high above us. I flew high and I flew hard. I tested my diving skills. I tested the height that I could go into the atmosphere. I had to keep my mind busy on flying so that I would not think of Adriana Adams.
But when I finally returned to my office, it was almost time to take Adriana out onto the surface of Sala. I would be heated all over again.
"She is ready," Luqan said as she walked into my office. "I gave her the proper attire, and the extra things that she asked for."
I looked at her confused, "What extra things?"
"You're going to laugh. She asked for a trowel and a specimen bag. She wants to dig around and collect and study things," Luqan said with a smug smile on her face. She was saying this to me because she knew that I enjoyed doing the same thing. It was uncanny.
"Is that so?" I asked her.
"Yes, she seemed very excited to do it. I looked up her profession on Earth, geologist, and it is in the same department of work as land sentinel for us Drackon."
"That is interesting," I said as I moved away from her, not wanting her to see right through me to the fact that I already knew it and it was the main reason I had chosen Adriana as a wife choice. "If you will excuse me I will go fetch her now for the outing. Make sure that everything is in place for my departure in the morning to Mooreah. Adriana will be accompanying me, as the king wants to meet with her."
"Of course," Luqan said.
As I was walking out the door, Luqan shouted to me, "Have fun!"
I stopped but did not turn around. Then I kept walking. This was not a date or courtship, dammit--or so I was trying to convince myself.
Minutes later I was walking out of the base with Adriana.
"Here we are," I said as I walked up to a land a vehicle.
"This is peculiar. I've never seen anything like this," she said as she moved to the vehicle and put her hand on it.
"Yes, it does well in the desert here. Come on, get inside," I said as I opened her door. She crawled in and
I shut the door behind her. I went around and took a deep breath of fresh air before I had to be in a small capsule of a vehicle, where I would be overwhelmed by her pheromones scent. I climbed in.
"This is very exciting. Thank you," she said.
"Don't mention it. I have to monitor Sala and that requires me to drive around the land for checks," I said lying to her.
"I see, so you are not just doing this for me? You are just letting me tag along on one of your job responsibilities?” she said in a teasing manner.
"Exactly. Shall we?" I said as I turned on the engine and we rolled out of the base. We moved past the fence as I nodded at the guards, and then we were out into the open land. She turned her head back-and-forth, eagerly taking in the scenery. I could see how excited she was out of the corner of my eye. It was adorable.
"Stop here," she said, opening the door before I could even come to a complete stop. She jumped out of the vehicle and ran toward a rock wall. She moved her hands over it. I followed her and asked, "What is it?"
