The Training of Toby (Masters of the Mansion Book 2)
Page 12
“He’s a kid. Regardless of his age, he’s still just a naïve kid. One wrong move and he could be killed,” Master William answered. “I don’t like it. I don’t like it one damn bit.”
“I’m not going to let that happen. Have you developed feelings for him? You’re talking like someone who has bonded with their sub.”
“Yes, I have. Maybe not in a sexual sense but in a protective sense, I have. I feel a responsibility to shelter him and putting him in the line of fire isn’t what I consider to be keeping him safe.”
“If we don’t let this guy believe he has the upper hand, if we don’t make him believe he’s going to get the object of his obsession, Jute could die. He’s already proven that he’ll kill. We need to make this guy believe that Toby wants to be with him. All Toby has to do is convince the killer that he’s intrigued with the fact that the guy is obsessed with him. Toby’s the perfect candidate for leading the killer to believe that he enjoys being stalked. You and I both know that there are people in the lifestyle who have a fetish for stalkers and being stalked. Even Toby’s online profile fits the bill.”
“He’s already proven that he’s a fucking serial killer, Agent Turner.”
“We won’t let him get close enough for the guy to kill him.”
“I don’t like it,” Master William growled. “Do you know what it’s going to do to my slave if she loses that boy?”
“Don’t you mean what it’s going to do to you?”
“Yes, me too. I don’t want to see anything happen to him.”
“Don’t you think Toby should have some say so in this?”
“Toby’s a trainee sub. He has no say!”
“This isn’t a training issue.”
“I control what Toby does or doesn’t do.”
“Do you trust him?”
“Of course I do. He’s here of his own volition.”
“How do you think he’s going to feel if Jute is killed knowing that he possibly could have stopped it? If he’s going to be the one luring the killer out, shouldn’t it be his choice to make?”
“I need to sleep on this, Agent. I’m not going to make this big of a decision without giving it a lot of thought.”
“So, you’ll call me tomorrow?”
“Yes, I’ll call you in the morning.”
“You might want to talk to Toby about it too.”
“I. Said. I’ll. Call. You. In. The. Morning.”
Agent Turner eyed the phone with confusion as he realized he had just been hung up on. Yes, Master William must be very upset to have been that rude. It was completely out of character for him to act out of emotion and even more so to show those emotions. Agent Turner could clearly see this case was starting to affect everyone involved, and not in a positive way.
Master William
With that, he hung up the phone and made his way to Diamond’s room. He needed to burn off some stress and she had just what he needed.
“Don’t say a fucking word.” He purposely cut his cold blue eyes at her, well aware of the effect he had on his slave.
“I mean it, not one fucking word.” His lip curled into a sardonic snarl when he witnessed her lay the book she had been reading on the nightstand. She never once removed her eyes from him. It was as if she knew he was ready to pounce at any moment. Yes, he was so ready to pounce, to make her pay for all the frustrations of the day, and, in turn, she would rid herself of all that plagued her soul. It was how they operated; they fed off each other and he knew it was why they worked so well together.
He stalked his way over to her, maintaining eye contact the whole time because he half expected her to bolt if given the chance.
His fingers wound through her hair and tightened so he could turn her head at will. He studied her facial features closely; her appearance intrigued him. He pulled her towards his groin, purposely running her lips over the hardening in his pants. His free hand reached for the pocket knife in his pants and with just a flick of his wrist, he had her where he wanted her.
He fed off her fear as he pulled her head back and placed the blade at her throat. “So much power to know I hold your life in the palm of my hands. Would you leave me, esclave? Would you leave me again, like you did a year ago?”
Her only answer was the unzipping of his riding pants. He watched as she smeared the pre-cum, oozing from the slit in the head of his cock, over the swollen head of his engorged shaft. Already, he throbbed and ached for her. He never tired of taking her, body and soul. Each time confirmed the conviction of his ownership.
A growl resonated from somewhere deep in his chest as her lips enveloped his stalk. He watched her eyes as she peered up at him through long, black lashes.
“Don’t you dare make me come, girl,” he ordered.
She ignored his plea and purposely taunted him by tightening her lips and opening her throat. He viciously yanked at the handful of hair he held and pulled her off his cock with a popping noise.
He pushed her up to the headboard. “Bend your knees and spread your legs. Disobey me and I’ll carve my fucking initials in you… again.” He smirked when he thought about the night, a year before, when he had marked her by carving his initials in her shoulder. He had done it after she informed him she was leaving; he wanted to make sure that anyone she would ever be with in the future knew that she belonged to him. Though she had been absent from him in body, he had never let her go.
He removed his clothing and positioned himself between her legs, slicing the knife through the panties she wore under her t-shirt. It felt good to see her flinch. “You’re wet,” he told her as he ran a finger up and down her slit. He reached up and placed his hand near her mouth. She obediently leaned forward to suck her desire for him from his fingers.
He placed the knife blade at the collar of her t-shirt and sliced through it like hot butter. He folded it open to reveal her full breasts with dusky rose nipples. “You are so beautiful and you are all mine.”
He noted the tremors she fought hard to hide as he slid the tip of the blade down her breastbone and towards her abdomen. “Oh, your fear does excite me.” He gently trailed the tip of the knife to the apex between her legs. Now she was begging… perfect.
He flipped the blade and used the handle to run it up and down her opening. His lips made their way between her legs and he brought his tongue into play to lightly flick over her swollen clit. He looked up at her through hooded eyes as he spoke, “Come on my knife, Diamond.” Her body jolted in pleasure as an orgasm raged through her core. With two fingers, he flung the knife and watched it as it sailed through the air and lodged into the wall.
He pulled her down to lie flat on the bed and lined his cock up with her opening. He plunged into her as he fisted her hair on both sides of her head, talking in her ear as his strokes became more urgent. “I fucking love you, girl. You are everything I need.”
“I love you too, Master. I love you too…”
Chapter Twenty Nine
Mistress Diamond
Mistress Diamond eyed her slave with compassion as she spoke. Though she was fully aware of her Master’s presence in the doorway, she spoke freely.
“Pet, it’s not only my first priority, but also my pleasure to keep you safe. In a relationship such as the three of us have, it truly is the sub who holds all the power. Though we can guide you in a situation like this, it is ultimately your decision. This is a dangerous thing the agents are asking of you and neither of us like it.” She leaned in towards him and took his hand, trying to offer some level of comfort. “If you aren’t happy, if you can’t look at yourself in the mirror and feel good about who you are, it will hinder our relationship with you. We could easily make you refuse to go and meet your stalker, but we won’t. You need to make this decision on your own.”
“I couldn’t live with myself if Jute were killed. How can I call myself part of the BDSM community and not do everything in my power to save a fellow kinkster’s life?”
“I know you’re scared.
No one would blame you if you refused,” she stated, trying to talk him out of it. She was surprised at how much she had bonded with him and, even more so, that her Master had as well. She had never known him to bond so deeply with anyone other than herself.
“I won’t be able to live with myself if I don’t do this.”
They both jumped when Master William suddenly stormed from the room.
“Is he mad at me?”
Mistress Diamond gently stroked his hand. “No, love, he’s scared.
Agent Turner
Agent Turner feigned much more confidence than he actually felt as he listened to Rene voice her doubts.
“You better hope nothing happens to that kid. Your name is going to be shit in the community if he gets hurt or, worse yet, killed.”
“Thanks for the vote of confidence, Rene.”
“Okay, that did sound bitchy. I’m sorry but we are going to be in serious trouble if Toby gets so much as a scratch.”
He turned and eyed her with resignation. “Then it’s our job to make sure nothing bad happens to him. I don’t care if we have to put a bullet in the killer’s head, nothing happens to that kid. You got me?”
“Oh, I feel you; that’s for sure. It’s my name on the line too.”
“It’s going to be fine. We need to have confidence to pull this off.”
“What we need is for Toby to be able to act like he wants to be with a killer. That isn’t an easy thing to pull off for a naïve, young man.”
“You’re right. We need to coach him.”
Agent Turner wasted no time grabbing the phone and dialing The Mansion. He spoke with Master William and then had him put Toby on the phone.
“Toby, I want you to know that our primary concern is your safety. I’m going to be honest with you. If the killer wasn’t holding Jute hostage, I would never ask you to do this. I believe his guard will be down with you. He has fixated on you and you can use that obsession to your advantage.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean you’re going to have to do some great acting. The best way for you to convince this guy is to convince yourself. The best liars are the ones who believe their own lies. You need to act like you’re flattered that this guy is obsessed with you. Tell him you’re jealous that he took Jute. Ask him why he didn’t take you instead. Use things like that. You’re going to have a bag of marked money with you. When you give it to him, make him believe you’re not going to go with him until he gets rid of Jute. Act like you’re jealous. He’s going to be distracted while you’re engaged with him and that’s when we’ll make our move to subdue him. Do you think you can do the things I’m asking of you?”
“Yes, I really do. I want to see Jute set free. Hempster is so upset and if I can help them, I want to.”
“Okay kiddo, let me talk to your Master.”
Agent Turner listened as the Master all but threatened him. “I’m going to tell you one more time, I don’t like this. You better hope like hell nothing bad happens to Toby!”
Agent Turner was shocked when he was hung up on again. He was beginning to suspect that Master William wasn’t just angry with him; he was downright livid. The gnawing in his gut intensified when, once again, he realized that if anything bad happened to Toby, he and Rene would be in deep shit with the community. It wasn’t like Master William to be rude; he was a stickler about manners. Pissing him off wasn’t a smart thing to do and the agent was starting to feel the pressure. Not only was he now on the bad side of one of the Masters of The Mansion, but if this rescue mission went awry, he’d be a pariah in the BDSM community as a whole too. It was definitely not something he wanted to experience; that was for sure. He and Rene were respected in the community and something like this could cause them to be ostracized. This wasn’t his ego that made him fear being cast out so much as it was a matter of his heart. There was very little that he was emotional about but the community was one of those things. He cared about the people at The Mansion. There was a sense of family amongst all its residents. He had no intention of alienating himself or Rene from the community over a case. If the hostage had been anyone other than a fellow kinkster, he wouldn’t go to the extreme of sending in a novice slave as bait. As badly as he hated to admit it, he was between the proverbial rock and a hard place.
He pushed the thought from his mind to ward off any distractions and set about concocting a successful plan of escape for everyone concerned. There was a lot banking on this operation’s success: lives, his reputation, and the conviction of a serial killer…
Chapter Thirty
Master William
The ride to the station was a quiet one. Master William decided it would be a good idea to bring Mistress Diamond along to drop Toby off at the agent’s office. He knew it would help Toby remain calm. Unfortunately, it wasn’t doing a damn thing to help his nerves.
He was a man who was accustomed to being in control and that was especially true when it came to his emotions. He couldn’t remember a time he’d ever felt so on edge.
The hour and a half long car ride from Bowling Green was spent in tense silence, which seemed to only heighten the element of fear and uncertainty the three of them felt.
Master William turned and eyed Toby after he parked the car and said, “You can do this, Toby. Don’t think about all the things that can go wrong. Play the role. Convince him you want to be with him, that you’re glad to see him, and that you’re jealous he took Jute. What the agent told you about believing the lie you’re telling, that’s the truth. If you’re convinced, then he’ll be convinced.”
“I can do this. I may be naïve when it comes to the lifestyle but I grew up on the streets.”
“I believe in you, pet, and your Mistress does too. You’ll do fine. Now, let’s get in here and get you ready.”
“Don’t you mean wired?” Toby asked.
“That’s exactly what I mean. You won’t be alone with that wire on you. The agents will be able to hear everything that’s being said.”
Master William led the way. He couldn’t help but notice the other agents staring at them as they made their way towards Agent Turner’s office. He wondered if they were watching them because they knew about their lifestyle or if it was because they knew Toby was going on an undercover sting and his life would be in danger. He pushed away the morbid thought that this might be the last time he ever saw the boy. He knew if that happened, he would be the one who’d have to pick up the shattered pieces of Mistress Diamond’s heart.
Agent Turner
Agent Turner looked up to see the three of them coming in and he immediately got to work fitting Toby with a wire.
“We’re essentially going to be there with you. You’re not alone, kid. Remember everything we told you and this will be over before you know it.” Agent Turner chuckled, trying to lighten the somber mood. “Just think, you’ll be a hero at The Mansion and you’re not even done with your six weeks of training.”
“I don’t care about being a hero. I just want Jute to be okay.”
“He’ll be fine. He’ll be back with Hempster before you know it.”
“Can they go with us,” the agent watched the boy’s eyes as he looked at his Master and Mistress.
“If it will make you feel more secure, then yes.” He ignored Rene’s cutting glare. He instinctively knew that she wasn’t in favor of allowing Master William and Mistress Diamond tag along; it went against FBI protocol. The way he looked at it was if it put Toby’s mind more at ease, then he would have a greater chance of success getting Jute set free.
“Okay everybody, let’s get going. I want you and Diamond to take your own car so you can park out of sight.” He turned and looked Master William in the eye. “Under no circumstances are you to go into that warehouse. The only reason I’m even permitting the two of you to go is so that you can support Toby.” He watched as Master William just nodded his head, signifying that he understood the importance of not hindering an FBI sting operation.
They silently made their way out to their cars, determined to catch the cold-blooded killer before he struck again.
Chapter Thirty One
The Killer
The killer paced as he waited for the moment he’d been dreaming of for weeks. Finally, he would have his dear Toby in his arms, exactly where he belonged.
A moan came from his victim. He’d made certain that no ties were loose and Jute was securely tied down on the table. He didn’t want anything to interrupt his reunion with Toby. He’d even drugged the man to ensure he wouldn’t interfere in any way. This was a special time and the killer wanted everything to go as planned. He was so excited to see his dear, sweet Toby and he didn’t want anything to hinder it. It seemed like it was taking forever for the boy to get here. Where was he?
Just when he had that thought, the sound of the warehouse intercom notified him that his guest had finally arrived. He cleared his throat, brushed the imaginary wrinkles from his clothing, and made his way to the rusty metal door to welcome his visitor.
He opened the door and pulled the boy in by his free arm, the one that wasn’t holding on to the black bag he carried. “Are you alone?” he asked, looking around outside as if he expected to see someone lying in wait.
“Yes, I’m alone,” Toby lied.
“How’d you get here?” he asked, eyeing the boy with suspicion.
“I caught a cab.”
“Good, does anyone know you’re here?”
“Only the people you told at The Mansion.”
He locked the door, grabbed the black bag from Toby’s hand, and pulled him down the corridor. They entered the room where Jute was bound.
